Appearance: Dankai has long red hair, with a part in the middle and equally dispersed hair on each side. He wears black jeans, and has a blue and orange blend of shoes. From his jeans he wears a cut strip that hangs from the front where he keeps his badges. He wears a blue shirt with orange from the shoulders to the sleeves. He has a pokeball necklace that he likes to spin when he’s put in an awkward situation. On his left wrist he wears a blue sweatband and on his right he wears a regular ring with a pokeball engraved in it. His backpack is blue and what he keeps everything else in except for his pokeballs kept on his belt.
Personality: Dan is chill, laid back boy. He usually can keep his cool in a battle but if you break one of his pet peeves, like mistreating anyone, or something illegal, he shows you he also has a short fuse. He's ambitious through his chill attitude and when he finds something he wants to do he does, at his own pace on his own time. He enjoys taking things slow but he always ends up doing what he says he's going to do if you give him the time. Thanks to his attitude it might seem like he doesn't treat his pokemon the way most trainers do, with love and respect. Dan's confidence in himself makes battling him very tough because your always in for a fight.
Background: Dan was born in the busy, bustling city of Goldenrod, but thanks to his father’s hot then cold business, he was always moving from city to city and eventually even moved from johto to Kanto a couple times. Thanks to his dads business, making custom items for coordinators, he's seen a lot of pokemon but never had any firsthand experience with them. His dads work also kept him from going on a journey like all the friends he had made in the past years had but one day when his dad had announce again he was moving. This time he said he was moving alone. Dan was confused as he watched his dad walk up to him with a pokeball and look him in the eyes. "it’s time you started your own pokemon journey, I hope it prepares you for struggles your life will later bring." his dad said to him and sent him off on a journey, alone unaware of what might happen to him.. Now Dan is on his way to professor Oaks lab, ready to take whatever pokemon he has to offer and take him on his journey to go through whatever struggles life has to offer.
