Hello! I hope I did everything right. I hope to get feedback about whether the character will be accepted or not soon.
If I did anything wrong please tell me and i will try to fix it. Pic pending. Thank you.
Name: Nils Adonai
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Trainer Type: Undecided. A trainer? A co-ordinator? Maybe a pokemon ranger. His experiences on his journey will help him decide.
Hometown: Azalea town
Appearance: Standing at 5' 9" his frame is small and lithe. His short light blue hair accentuate his dark blue eyes. He has a long blue scarf that hangs behind him like two pig tails. A tough tan camisole with pockets in the chest. And a standard Poke ball belt holds up his dark green cargo shorts which extended just past his knees. These cargo belts hold two extra extra pockets near the knees. He also has a pouch fastened to waist, to hold whatever cannot fit into the other pockets. His shoes are a light green, patched, and fringe at the top, much like boots.
Personality: Naive and helpful, he won't think twice about helping someone out. However, he is distrustful of big businesses and people with a lot of money. In this sense he has a warped view of the world, in that simplicity is to be valued and extravagance to be abhorred. He has a need to be accepted and acknowledged by others. He won't ask for more than your respect, but he's gonna do anything he can to get it. His naivety is a result of his innocence, but to take that away, may result in a break down of what he values.
History:
Nils was born in Goldenrod City, however his family came upon hard times in the fast developing city, and before nils could even take his first steps-- moved to Azalea town. However, moving to a quiet country town doesn't erase your past, there was still a debt to be paid from their brief stay in Goldenrod, and much of their income went into paying it off. Despite this, Nils was a content and happy child. Though admittedly, a somewhat naive one.
The Azalea town motto is "Where Pokemon and people live together in harmony!" Moving to a quiet town like Azalea was the best thing that could have happened to Nils, as that motto was one of the most true. Often times there'd be events to pay tribute to the Slowpoke so that they'd bring rain, and he was always one of the first to volunteer. Placing food offerings for the Slowpoke, or playing the flute for the village in front of the Forest Spirits Shrine, listening to the stories the Pokemon trainers brought with them on their journey to the town gym. He anxiously awaited the day he'd get to experience what was outside of the small town.
When he became of journeying age, rather than strike out on an adventure with Pokemon, his father's back gave out, and the family was plunged into more debt. Being unable to leave his family to fend for themselves he stayed in Azalea town. Finding odd end jobs to help pay off their debt. Cutting wood for the Coal Ciner, helping Nurse Joy at the center, performing his tribute to the Forest Spirit for tourist money, and even running errands for Kurt to-and-from Goldenrod. There was even a time when he acted as tourist guide through Slowpoke cave! Finally, his parents debt had been paid off in full, and he set off on his Pokemon adventure.
Although admittedly, having to leave his home, and all the Poke-friends he knew was heartbreaking, he wanted to make something of his life --even if he didn't know what that something was quite yet.
Goals: To figure out what he wants to do with his life. Why does he want to see the world so badly? Why find Pokemon outside of azalea town? He has a life, and he wants to see what he was meant to do before staying still.
Other Info: Has a great reverence for spirits and the earth. As such, he loves bug and grass Pokemon. He believes in most any story told him, and is very superstitious. His favorite dish was a meal made from the mushrooms that belong to Paras, he knows how to play the flute very well, and is quick on his feet. He's a bit of a push over, and not very strong.
How did you find us?: Referred by a friend. His name is 'Jwillsa' on this forum.
Edit: Thank you Nada! I hope i caught everything! I'm not used to capitalizing Pokemon names, and it's been a while since I had to name specific places. I know it's a poor excuse but thank you for helping me, and again, don't be afraid to point something out to me.
