Name: Anthony 'Frank' Moss

Appearance: Tony stands taller than the average man and is generally quite big and broad too. As an ex-member of the police force he would often engage in extensive exercise and as such his body is very fit and healthy. Tony's hair is a very deep brown, a colour matched by his short-haired beard (could perhaps be considered as a long-haired stubble. His eyes are also brown, though more of a lighter brown. Moss's skin is quite fair, not too tanned, though he isn't what you'd call a 'milk bottle'. As for clothes, Tony usually wears an unconventional black suit, usually with a long black duffle coat to go over the top of it. He retains a mysterious look with a long-rimmed black hat, and often dark shades to cover his eyes. With his unnecessarily large outfit Tony can often get very hot, something that can be embarrassingly revealed in conversation.
Personality: Tony's work with the police force previously has taught him a strong sense of justice and determination; he won't stop fighting the good fight. Of course, that doesn't mean he has to do it by following the rules. The whole reason Moss left the force in the first place was so that he could fight crime and solve mysteries by his own rules. Tony often sympathizes with people and understands their pain. He also has quite the reckless streak, and sometimes will put himselves and others in danger inadvertently.
History/Background:
Anthony Moss was born in Fortree City in the Hoenn region. He attended the Pokemon Trainer's School in Rustoboro frequently, traveling their on his father's Skarmory, making for quite an intimidating entrance to the city. Tony picked up a lot of skills but found that he wasn't all that interested in battling pokemon. Of course pokemon became an interest of Tony's, but the boy preferred to discover new things about the creatures and solve mysteries about them. Moss became other students' point of call whenever they were confused about a specific aspect, be it natural or strange, of any species. Tony grew very fond of legendary pokemon for the questions they posed that were still to be answered. Anthony left the school young and went to train for the police force, feeling that the life of a researcher would be far too dull and boring.
Tony quickly joined up with the force and found himself at ease. Many senior officers were reluctant to give him too much authority though as he often did things in his own way, failing to abide by rules and standards. In fact Tony gained a fair few enemies in the force thanks to his recklessness. Their distatste for Tony eventually led to a plot to frame Moss so that he would be taken off the force. Tony had to hand in his badge and his Growlithe and move on, clearly not being accepted by the other officers. It wasn't long though before Tony found himself helping people and solving mysteries even without his status, and questioned the importance of being a police officer when helping people was so easy to do without being one. Tony eventually realized though that with no job he would have to find some other way of doing what he enjoyed.
Traveling back home to Fortree Tony let his mother and father know his difficult situation. They proposed that Tony start a business away from Hoenn, and start anew. Tony's father lent him Skarmory for the journey as Tony went to stat up his own private business in Johto. He ventured to New Bark Town first, knowing full well that he would need some sort of pokemon to get around with after haviung never caught one. Skarmory had a letter with him that told Tony that his father would be sending him letters and notes via the metal bird throughout Tony's life in Johto, and with a smile Tony sent Skarmory home. He looked on to the pokemon lab, and to his new start in Johto. He didn't quite know what to make of it all, but the excitement give him little time to think.
Other: Tony will be collecting the badges, though only to proceed through Johto's areas rather than to challenge the Elite Four.
