Sighing as there appeared to be nothing at home, Joey stood back and peered in to what he could see of the hollow tree. "I don't doubt you at all Lupin but there's definitely nothing there." Thinking a bit harder than he should, Joe came to a rather far fetched conclusion. "Maybe this forest is messin' with out heads. I mean there's so much dense vegetation here what with flowers, trees and shrooms, who the hell knows what we're inhaling. We could be on one full out trip right now. Hood would kill to be here right now I bet." Still pondering the reality around him and its adverse effect on his Pokemon, Joe was totally unguarded for when the Farfetch'd would strike out of nowhere. Hearing the rustle in the bushes, Joey turned absent mindedly only to be greeted by the sight of a spinning leek hurtling towards him with extreme prejudice. "WHAT THE HELL?!" Trying to dodge but groaning in agony as his body was still tender and sore, his leg buckled slightly and fortunately only received a small cut in his already ripped jeans along with a small graze.
Letting out a sharp gasp, he frowned at the small wound. "Well that's just great. Not only do I get a beating by fallin' down the side of that cliff but now i've got my leg cut open and i'm gonna die from blood loss now." Realising the cut wasn't as bad as he realised, he joked at his plight. "Next i'm gonna have the spirit of the forest send me back in time before it even existed." Shaking his head with a curse or two under his breath, he turned to face the culprit of this surprise ambush. His eyes trailed onwards and he noticed the green leek. "Uh huh..." He mumbled, piecing together one part of the puzzle. It was only when he fully looked up and the goose came into view that he knew what he was dealing with.
"YOU!" Steamed Joe as the bird retrieved its prized weapon. "So, you've been here all this time eavesdroppin' on me and you thought you'd get an easy hit, eh?" Shaking his head, Joey sprawled his cocky grin over his lips. "Too bad i'm not simple. Gonna take a lot more than diced leeks to off me." Seeing how defiantly stubborn the bird looked, Joey let out a weary sigh. "I guess now I can see why Syl was having such a hard time." Shuffling his jacket to the side so the Farfetch'd could view it, he showed off his tied down prisoner. "Were ya lookin' for ya buddy? I bumped into him earlier. He was just bang out of order as you were and he's still out cold from the lesson I banged into his head." Moving it back over his shoulder, he resumed the the battle. "Now who'll be playing teacher this time."
Thinking over the entirety of his gang, it seemed like an idea to follow up Knox with yet another battle. "May as well get you broken in to the life of hard knocks." Moving his eyes over to the side, he watched as the Pineco finally moved positions as it hopped along without a care in the world to stand before the last remaining Farfetch'd. "Haha, don't you worry. I'll make this short and sweet. Maybe after this you can grow up and listen to yer trainer. I kinda doubted Syl at first, thought he was a bit too green behind the ears but that couldn't have been more wrong." Still sporting his trademark cocky grin, the courageous thief roared out his attack. "Alright! Show time, let's get this moving. Knox! Ram into it with Take Down and ruffle its feathers some. That oughta give it a good scare or two."

Farfetch’d was amused with this human, very amused. It let its wing move upward a bit, sitting there for a bit, as if taunting Joey. What Sylvan had forgotten to tell Joey, was that one of the Farfetch’d was rowdy, and loved to cause trouble, and this was the one. The mischievous smirk on its beak would tell him that easily though. In fact, the idea for the two Farfetch’d to run away was probably its idea. Though, instead of attacking right away, it stood there tauntingly with that same wing extended outwards. Then, it sprung. “Farrr!” It cried, running forwards with about as much grace as a clumsy duckling. These creatures, being used for their cut move, weren’t quite accustomed to battling, so this made it hard for them. However, the wing that was held outwards began to glow a bright, bright color. As soon as the duck got close enough to Knox, it slashed its long wing right across the Pineco’s front, making Knox fall backwards. He was really glad now that Joey had given him a potion earlier. “Farfetch’d Fecth.” It called to the Pinecone, and as Knox got up, he decided he was tired of the smirk that the bird seemed to wear all the time. Knox floated forwards, picking up speed while heading towards Farfetch’d. Before the bird knew it, the deep blue colored Pokemon had slammed into it, knocking the smirk right off its face. It had been knocked down, but it wasn’t done yet. __________________________________________________ VS.Sylvan's Farfetch'd |Level 20| Health: 68%(39/57HP)Status:Smells like fresh pine in here, no?;Normal Attack:A successful Slash. The way this feathery troublemaker moved about gave Joey the distinct impression it was constantly taunting him. The overconfident swagger and general way it carried itself was enough to rub the grubby biker's nose the wrong way entirely. "Pah! Laugh it up while you can ya little buzzard. I'm sure once we've given you a nice little wham on the back of the head, you'll be wakin' up and seein' your ol' master before long. I bet he instilled living fear into ya's." Unfortunately, for all of Joe's trash talking, it seemed Knox wouldn't be quite up to the task. The blow dealt by the bird was worrying, not to mention how well it handled the take down performed by his own Pineco. "Grargh, looks like you're a lot stronger than your friend here. I'll give you that and that only... Maybe a black eye after this." Rummaging through his belt holster, he took out another Pokeball and sighed.
"Too bad i'm not in the mood for shenanigans otherwise i'd piss you off so much you'd drive that bleeding leek through your head." Recalling back Knox into the confines of his Pokeball, Joe wasn't going to be wasting any time around with this one. "Charmeleon! You're up! Figures I ought to get a heavy hitter out to show this guy we mean business. And not the funny kind." With a shot of a glare to the goose, Joe snickered as he commanded the move for the very reason he had bought out his reddened lizard. "Unleash your Dragon Rage and let's tie this all up. Syl will have his birds back before he knows it." As skilled and as cocky as the Farfetch'd was, Joe had an inkling it'd have difficulty taking a full on blast from the decimating attack.

Farfetch’d chucked its leek into the air repeatedly as it watched Joey recall Knox. What a chicken! Snickering a bit, the creature waited for Joey to send out his next Pokemon, and though it wouldn’t have admitted it even to itself, if it had pants, it would have pissed them upon seeing Charmeleon appear from his Pokeball. Charmeleon sent a smirk of his own at the Farfetch’d, making it angry. Only it could do that! “Fecthh!” It crooned, dropping its leek on the ground. Charmeleon watched it with a taunting smirk as it flew up. Nothing like a little bit of reverse psychology. When the bird reached a well off height, it tucked its wings in and began falling fast, gaining momentum until it finally slammed into Charmeleon. The lizard huffed as the wind was knocked out of him, but held fast to the Farfetch’d by its wings. It wasn’t getting away now. “Farr…” it seemed to want him to let it go, but Charmeleon wasn’t going to do that, not at all. He opened his mouth and his eyes lit up in a deep purple-blue color, and moments later he allowed a blast to escape him, letting go of the bird and sending it flying into the bushes. The creature staggered out, and moments later fell down, out cold. _________________________________________________ Victory!~
