Entering Violet City with heavy breaths, the dense fog which surrounded Sharada just screamed to her that today was going to be a bad day. Having crossed Johto multiple times now due to her Rocket connections, her orders from above had sent her crawling back to Violet once more. Not that she wanted to be here, after all the nonsense of breaking into the Pokemon Center with Bob all that time back, she was sure someone had to have caught a glimpse of her face. Trying to look as different as possible with a different change of clothes and hair up in low piggy tails, she probably came across as the last person to be involved with such a group. Besides the cigarette which hung from her lip. Striking it alight, her icy blue eyes looked around the fog flooded city, the lamp posts dotted along the pavements all being lit up, despite it being the middle of the day. Rearranging her loose cardigan, the girl shrugged her shoulders and began her look around the city.
What had dragged her here was infact the reason of her smoking addiction; Bob. After once again being beaten to the ground by another trainer he had messed up on trying to recruit, a handful of other Rockets had been sent in his place whilst his bruises recovered back in HQ. Sharada being one of them. Of course, she wasn't stupid enough to walk through the city in her uniform, it was much more easy to blend in with the crowds of people if she just wore the every day fashion. Wandering to the corner of the street, the brunette pulled the cigarette from her lips and let out a stream of smoke which immediately blended with the fog, her eyes glaring at the Pokemon Gym which stood tall in the distance. The faint outline of a challenger wandering inside caught her attention, they appeared to be male and if he came out winning and she played her cards right, she could even be sending a new recruit to join their ranks. Besides, it'd be funny to show Bob up after how much he bossed her around in the past if she could convince someone on her first day.
Knowing how fierce Falkner could be, she knew she would have to wait a while before her pray waltzed back out of the doors. So for now, she had to find a place to just sit and watch. The Pokemon Center was an obvious no go, so wandering along the pavement for a little longer, her eyes darted from shop to shop as if trying to find somewhere to poke her nose in. Whilst the clothing shops may have interested her personally, a nicely placed cafe was where she ended up agreeing with. Standing by the window as her eyes scanned the little bulletin board which had the menu and their prices, the girl dropped her cigarette before extinguishing it into the ground and walking inside. However, when she did make it in, she only just realised how full it was. Sighing to herself, the smell of all the pastries were too nice to scare her away. Squeezing past multiple chairs toward the counter, Sharada ordered an usual even for her, "Hot chocolate, please."
Delving into her bag to ready her purse, the brunette took a discreet glance around the interior as if trying to decide where to sit. Many seats were taken up by couples or elderly ladies, a single table being empty near the end of the room yet the table beside it was occupied by a group of rowdy looking males. Hence why it was empty. Eventually her eyes lingered towards the few cornered off tables which would otherwise be known as the smoking corner but before she could fully decide on who to join at their table, her drink was placed abruptly in front of her. Jumping ever so slightly, the brunette managed a smile as she handed over the money, recieving her change and lifting up her drink before moving to a seat. For a moment, her eyes scanned between two possible tables, both were occupied by a single person. One was reading the local newspaper and seemed peaceful, whilst the other was smoking with a Pansear on his shoulder.
Probably looking like a muppet with how often her head tossed as she tried to decided, she eventually decided on joining the male and his monkey, merely because it was closer to the window. Placing her drink on the surface and pulling out a chair, she swung her bag to the floor and opened an inner compartment. Searching for her packet of cigarettes and pulling them out, she opened the top only to pull an irritated expression of it being empty. Sighing out loud, she crumpled up the packet before tucking it back into her bag, pulling up her seat and having an awkward glance at the male opposite her before suddenly looking away again. Did he have an eyepatch? He had an eyepatch, right? Not wanting to look again in fear of appearing to be a nosy youth, her eyes instead stared out of the window toward the Gym, waiting for the previous trainer to hopefully leave the doors with a victorious posture to him.

It hadn't been the best of journeys but Tobias had eventually made it to Violet despite a mishap or two along the way between Cherrygrove and Violet. The mishap being that of a green sac like creature and that of a wild goose chase or perhaps more accurately wild hound chase off the well trodden path. It had been more than regrettable. Having wanted nothing more than to reach this reputable location to try and find out more information on Team Rocket it had meant that he was sorely behind schedule; a fact all too known by his Pokemon who had been on the receiving end of his enraged fury. On his perilous journey, the grizzled criminal was all too relieved to see the snow eventually melt away as the season changed. Out with the cold and in with the emergence of warmth. It was something he was greatly looking forward to despite the sudden fog which seemed to be afflicting this supposed wondrous city. Ignoring its veil, he pursued on into its heartland. It had been a while since he felt so connected in with an urban environment that it almost felt disconcerting at first. New Bark Town was an absolute backwater settlement and Cherrygrove, while having some hallmarks of a city was still far too town like.
This however was a familiar feeling to the sprawling metropolis situated in Unova. However, the one thing he couldn't shake was just how... Traditional it all felt in a sense. His home town of Lacunosa shared the same encompassing feeling. Unsure of whether or not this was mere coincidence or simply a sign that he would finally be able to step on the ladder of his ambitions, he decided to rest up following his long trek. As he navigated his way through the long winding streets, he came across what can only be described as some large building. Not only did it seem lavishly expansive but it also scraped up into the sky with what appeared to be a never ending tower. Aware of the concept of gyms, he had an inkling this might have been Johto's answer. "Hm. Far too extravagant for what it is. I can't help but wonder if Johto's gym leaders rely too much on gimmicks rather than skill and power in a battle." Sighing displeasedly at his notions, he was quickly relieved at the sight of what he had been looking for. That of a cafe. "At least this place has something of note." Stepping forward and into the cafe, he was pleased that it wasn't too cold. At least he could defrost so to speak. The only grimace was the presence of a number of couples and old dears. "What I wouldn't do to hasten their demise."
His displeasure would only worsen as a bunch of rowdy males pushed by behind him, moving over to a seat in the corner which influenced the displacement of the rest of the cafe's populace. Gritting his teeth and half tempted to make an example of them, he relented. Doing anything now would be far too rash without first nourishing himself. Moving over to the counter, he bluntly stated his order without really giving the attendant much attention. "Coffee. Black. No milk." Moving his head, he looked to find a seat. Thankfully there was one near a window so that he could better asses his environment. A clang on the counter and Tobias was served his coffee. Placing a mixture of coins into the attendant's hands, he shot them a glare as it became obvious they were staring at his eye patch. "Never seen one before? I'd carry on your business lest you receive one yourself." Bitterly taking the coffee, he moved over to the seat. Now unwinding and relaxing in place, he took a small sip of the beverage before pulling a disgusted face. "This tastes foul." Placing it down with a clank, he turned his head to get Prometheus' attention. Having sat on his shoulder acting as his ice scar warmer and also on and off cigarette lighter, the fiery monkey had moved himself into a comfortable placement by dangling his legs off the side of the male's shoulders.
"Light." A simple command but it was one Prometheus was now able to carry out with exact precision. Using its devil like tail to flick out a pack of cigarettes from the male's breast pocket, it whipped into the air just as the monkey placed it into Tobias' mouth and with a small click of his fingers, lit it with a restrained Incinerate. Letting out a puff of smoke without so much a care as to whether or not it was a smoke free zone or not, he stared out the window, oblivious to the coming and going of people. Gazing up at the gym, he couldn't help but become increasingly disgusted by it. Not for how showy it was but also its near offensive architecture. It was only when there was a sudden movement opposite him that a female sat in the remaining space. Almost phased by her boldness, Tobias was frozen in a grip of annoyance and fury that prevented him from fully conveying his chagrin. It was only when Prometheus jumped on the table with an angry squawk that Tobias overcame his stumbling. "You Johtonians are so uncouth. Sitting at a table without prior permission?! Despicable..." Cut off short, he noticed she was affixing her gaze at the gym. Leaning back in his chair and gazing with a smouldering intensity with his remaining eye, his curiosity was piqued. "Hmph. You may redeem yourself if you state your feelings of this... This... Eyesore correctly. What say you?" Normally no the mood for idle banter, it seemed all this cold weather had made for a shift in personality. Who knew, maybe if he was able to strike up enough of a conversation, much to his reluctance, he could nail what information he could about signing up with Team Rocket.

Receiving lip about seating arrangements was the last thing Sharada wanted and what was worse was the fact it was coming from a fully grown man. If more of this were to come, perhaps sitting near the back with the group of boys didn't seem like such a bad idea afterall. Gritting her teeth whilst wrestling with thoughts in her mind about how she wished she had sat elsewhere, a sudden patter of feet from the cafe doors warned her not to lose this space she had chosen. Shrugging him off, the brunette cautiously placed her elbow on the edge of the square table, the warm fumes from her hot chocolate tickling the skin of her forearm. Propping her head at a slant as her eyes glued to the ugly structure of the tall tower like building, her lips finally parted. "If you couldnt see, this place is rather full. Take your complaint to the desk and ask them to add in more tables or something instead of grumbling at me." Curling a few rogue strands of hair which hung by her cheek to behind her ear, the brunette slid her icy blue eyes across to get a better look at him. Gritting her teeth once again, the eyepatch what she saw earlier was indeed there and she had earlier said... "Dammit."
Pulling her hand away from her face, her small frame lent back in the chair, her eyes focusing on him properly. "Oops, my mistake. I guess you really cant take a good look around." She spoke out in a sarcastic tone, the cocky, childish remark about his missing eye only sounding more pathetic as what she had just said to him sunk in properly. Making herself more comfortable by crossing one leg over the over, she pulled her chair in that little bit more before leaning both her arms on the edge of the table. Staring at him sternly at first, she tried to pop a smile, even if it was forced. "I--I apologise. I'm not looking for trouble, so let's not cause a scene, eh? You were right and I was wrong. I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Judging from how this man was most likely just naturally sour, she tried her best to think up a quick remark to fix the previous comment about his eyepatch. "And I'm actually from Hoenn, we have loads of eyepatched people so dont think I was looking at you weird or anything."
Not wanting to dig herself in a deeper hole, her eyes glanced around the table for something to distract her motor mouth with. Her hot chocolate was still scolding but then the sight of his Pansear made a light bulb flick above her head. Or really, it was just her curiosity as a trainer. "Ahh, this is a Pansear, right? I dont really know much about Unova besides the little festival held here in autumn." With a stroke of courage, Sharada lifted both her hands and reached out for the little fiery monkey. Half expecting the man to slap her wrists or the monkey himself to burn her to a crisp. With a wiggle, she ruffled her fingers in a massaging manner, moving in circular motions behind his large ears. Hoping her delicate touch would warm the monkey right into her arms, she couldnt help but pull a surprised as expression as her fingertips touched his short hair. "Wow, they are so warm... Haha, I dont really have any fire types, I'm suddenly starting to think differently." Pulling her hands back so not to test her luck, she instead wrapped her fingers around the mug of her drink, a genuine smile stretching across her cheeks.
Feeling a bit of warmth instead her, her veins suddenly ran cold at the mere word of the gym. She had been so busy and distracted by this man that she had complete forgotten about her reason for being there in the first place. Retaining her cold stare as her eyes darted out of the large window, she couldnt really make out a figure so all she could hope was that no one had yet left. Digging her nails against the ceramic mug, she appeared to be examining the building further before answering his question. "The Eyesore, huh?" Creasing up, she really had to hold back her laughter, slithers of giggles escaping her smiling lips. Not only for completely agreeing with his description of the tall structure but also of the way he just spoke in general. "It's certainly different from the Gyms back at home. But the mechanics inside are even worse than the outer appearance." Turning slightly to look at him better, she slid her mug to one side to try and gesture with her hands what she meant.
Placing one loosely on the table, her eyes glanced up to him, making sure he was paying attention. "Inside, it looks all empty, dark and just plain weird. But the you take a few steps forward and wooosh~ A floor panel lifts you right up into the rafters. I'm not really scared of heights too much but it's kinda frightening if you're not prepared." With the warm steam forming condensation on the table surface, she then tried to draw out the strange zig zag like motion you had to walk to get to Falkner, not that it lasted long before fading into nothing. "Falkner puts up a bit of a fight despite only having two bird Pokemon. He works on the trick of lowering accuracy before tearing up his opponent. I must admit, it almost got me." Sitting straight in her chair, Sharada grasped her Hot Chocolate, blowing on the surface to try and cool it down before taking a tiny sip. "Personally, I think it looks too over the top, definitely doesnt fit in with the style of the town. Perhaps it was designed by children in the school near here."

Not quite expecting the woman to actually respond back to him, he eyed her with a furious intent. Considering he normally expressed a look of absolute dulled plainness on his face it was quite unusual that he had kept up this angered look for so long. "Typical of you to say that the complaints should be diverted off to somewhere else. I have no time for weasel like middlemen when I am more than capable of taking it to the source." The vehemence in his tone was all too apparent and he wasted no restraint in hiding his disdain to Sharada. Despite his fierce words, it appeared that it was his appearance of all things that had fully done the trick. Obviously the black eyepatch was something to be feared of. Then another unexpected remark passed her lips. Now absolutely besieged with anger, he was about to stand up to impose his stature over here but instead found himself opening his mouth to scold back. He was never usually like this so how was some broad able to make him so testy? "If you're trying to assert that I am blind you are sorely mistaken." His voice growled through gritted teeth. Now standing to his feet, he looked down at her just as his seat moved backwards, screeching everyone to attention.
It was only then that her apology came in a delayed manner. His eye twitching, he relented. In any other circumstance, she would have regretted profusely displaying such back chatting behaviour but as he had got so far to this supposed hot bed of activity for Team Rocket, it wasn't a chance he was willing to squander. Trying to force himself into the mood for conversation, he was wincing internally at having to converse with someone of the general public. "Hoenn or not, you would do well to watch your manners." About to lecture her further on minding her behaviour, he leered his eyes as she made mention of Prometheus who had descended upon the table from earlier. Was there anything this girl wasn't going to do to try his patience?! Hoping that Prometheus would react violently, he was disappointed by his own Pokemon. This whole encounter was going terribly. Gurning its unique little smile that it boasted, Prometheus longingly tip toed forward as he swayed at the gentle caress of Sharada's fingers. And so, yet again he forced a conversation so that he might get at some information. "That is indeed a Pansear. I would be careful if I were you. They have a tendency to burn those too careless." Leaning back, he folded his arms and glanced out the window. "I am an Unovan myself actually. Away from my home region on... Business."
He was distracted away from the sight of outside by her attempt to mask her giggles. Had he said something funny? Ignoring her childish laughter, he nodded at her assessment of the gym itself. "I see. You at least have some taste about you." Appreciative of her opinions of the gym, he shook his head as he took another sip from his black coffee, almost forgetting how disgusting it tasted the first time around. Not only that but it had grown horridly tepid. "Blergh! Is there nothing this two bit region can't do properly...?!" Muttering as he glared angrily, he clicked his fingers at Prometheus. "Prometheus, warm it." The monkey nodded and with a glow of the fire like motif on his forehead, somehow transferred heat to his hands and restored the coffee to a suitable temperature. Now at least able to enjoy it somewhat despite its subpar taste, he returned to what she had said. "Hmph. The gym leader sounds pathetic. Then again, I have little time for gyms and becoming a so called 'champion'. I have other ambitions." Gazing up at the tower once more, he finally decided to drop a hint as to what he was really here for. "I hear this city offers more shadowed career pursuits to follow however."

The continuous look of anger which seemed to be glued on this man's face was starting to make Sharada feel a little uneasy. Although she wore a gentle smile to try and come across as not meaning any harm, his furious frown obviously wasnt picking up on her tiny hint of playfulness. Waving a hand loosely at him, she used her other to grip the handle of her mug of hot chocolate, drawing it closer to her lips. "Hah, listening to customer complaints is often too much of a hassle. They would simply nod their heads yet do nothing about it. Though I guess for tiny cafes like this who rely on regulars would have no choice but to comply... Pft, what does it matter anyway? It's not like I'll ever be coming back here anyway. So dont worry, I'll finish my drink and leave you be." Taking a longer sip of her drink, the warm, melting texture which slid down the back of her throat was abruptly interrupted as he suddenly bolted to his feet at her remark about his eye. Feeling herself becoming as stiff as a statue at his radical increase of fury, the only movement she could really manage was pulling the mug away from her lips. Blinking at him with her large, icy eyes as he took a seat once more, for quite some time she was speechless.
Watching as he sat back down and pulled up his chair, the brunette couldnt quite take her eyes off him, guessing her way as she placed the mug back down onto the table surface. Realising that she wasn't making herself look any better, she pouted her lips sadly as she tried to apologise once more. The feeling of many pairs of eyes looking over to see what the problem was between the two of them creating more unease for her. "Ah.. No, I wasn't implying... I'm terribly sorry." Taking her gaze away from him, she stared out of the window awkwardly, raising her shoulders and lowering her face, "I had to travel through two towns, a dense forest and a cave to get back in this stupid city. My tiredness and lack of cigarettes are getting the better of me." Disappointed in herself without even knowing the slightest bit about this man and his criminal status, the brunette returned to sipping her drink once more. Looking further away as he continued to scold her, her ears picked up slightly as he let something slip about himself. Perhaps he was opening up a little? No, most likely not.
Giving him a cautious glance to see if he was still angry, Sharada retained her sitting up posture, her face intrigued with his Unovan blood. "I see. So is this your first time in Johto?" Managing a smile, she held the warm mug of hot chocolate to her her cheek and rubbed it cutely, "You really are a man of mystery. Suavely dressed, an eye patch and all the way from the distance lands of Unova. I wonder if your name is just as exotic?" Her attempts at trying to learn his name would most likely go down like a lead balloon. All he needed to do was give her another piercing stare with that lone hazelnut eye of his to put her back in her newly found place of inferiority. Now half way through her drink and still going, she almost spluttered in surprise at his disgusted reaction after having a taste of his own beverage. Rubbing her thumb against her bottom lip, the upcoming sight was about to set her heart aflutter. His little Pansear waddled across the table and with his natural fiery power, warmed up his drink in an instant. "Prometheus? Is that his name? How!-- how..." Actually afraid of saying the words 'cute' or 'adorable' incase she recieved an earful in return, her eyes instead glanced back towards the large glass window, finishing the rest of her drink with one last swig. Letting out a content sigh with having her belly warmed with such a nice flavour, she placed the mug back on it's saucer with a delicate tap before leaning forward and retrieving her bag from the floor. Pulling out a small, circular mirror to check over her hair, as many girls would do, his sudden bold remark about there being a shadier part to this city flicked a few switches in her mind. "Your from Unova, right? Then, how would you...?"
Suddenly coming across as almost defensive with a slightly narrowed brow, the brunette closed the portable mini mirror and dropped it back into her bag. "What? Are you a cop who has been stationed here or something? Hah... I guess I can tell you one thing, as a fellow trainer." Narrowing her eyes, she leaned her torso across the table slightly, glancing over her shoulder subtly to make sure no unwanted ears could hear. Pursing her lips, she spoke out to him in a whisper, "Some would say this is where the real journey for a trainer begins. A more... sinister presence lurking in the shadows, readying to pull blossoming, ooh so innocent trainers onto a darker path of power and wealth. The only group you could be suggesting is none other than Team Rocket." Leaning back in her chair, she smirked and laughed under her breath, reaching out a hand and giving Prometheus another tantalizing rub, this time under his chin. "From what I gather, you need a certain something to grab the interest of a recruiter. But if you really are a cop, I'm not going to do your homework for you." Feeling that now would probably be the best time to dash, she slipped the strap of her bag over her shoulder before glancing out of the window. It seemed her pray had not yet exited the gym and really, she was now more intrigued with just what this man wanted.

Hearing her through, Tobias merely grunted as he called out for Prometheus' name as she made a fact of something. "Prometheus. Smoke." The monkey made a small chirpy noise as it came to attention. Realising that Tobias was already still enjoying a cigarette to himself, he knew full too well he wasn't requesting another one. Having tried to put one too many in earlier when they nearing the city was a harsh lesson he learnt to avoid for the future no matter what the cost. Instead, his master must've been implying that she was to be offered one. Confused at this dubious act of kindness, the fire monkey eventually shrugged, instead flicking out one from his break pocket, using his dexterous tail to carry it over. Hopping off from Tobias' shoulder and moving over to where Sharada was seated on the opposite side of the table. Stretching up to meet her mouth, he placed it in and once she had it secure did a small click of his fingers which sparked an ignition on the end of the smoke. "As apology." Stated Tobias curtly as he proceeded on with the rest of what she had to say in an almost business like manner.
Awaiting for Prometheus to return to seating on his shoulder, he seemed to make a subtle sigh of relief as the heated monkey placed his warmth next to the male's patched eye. Perhaps his wound required a touch of warmth, it was too hard to say from an outsider's perspective. Nevertheless, now content, he responded in kind. Still touchy over how uncouth she was in her conduct, he shot down her attempt to learn of his name despite her flattery. "Flattery gets you nowhere. My name isn't of consequence." He was somewhat amused by her description of him though, he had never really considered himself anything remotely 'exotic'. Despite his amusement, it wasn't something he was readily going to make known. Persisting on, he leered his eyes about Prometheus. It appeared that his scornful gaze was enough to stop her from dubbing it cute. "Prometheus may not have been my first choice of Pokemon but he has proven extensively useful." Taking another sip from his coffee, he savoured the heated temperature it imparted despite its taste being less than desirable. "Considering the nature of the trainer gifted from, he has been a pleasant surprise at the very least." Not wanting to delve too much into that incessant Catherine, Tobias quickly shot a look around the cafe and outside. If he knew one thing since entering this region it was that she was never too far off.
His lack of focus was soon bought to the fore and rectified. Hearing him being accused of being a police officer was none too pleasing. Out of all the organisations that were present in existence, he had little to no patience for them. Needless obstacles in his ambitious reach for the stars above. Once he had grasped his iron fisted hold on the power he sought, they would soon know his indignation. Cutting her off before the idea could firmly take root, he spoke indifferently but with a subtle hint of threat veiling his tongue. "Make no mistake. I am no police officer. Quite the contrary. The very opposite. So believe me when I say any homework that will be done shall be used for my own personal interests." Leaning back into his chair, he took a remarkably casual pose for someone as uptight as he as he listened. All the while he lifted his hand up to his cigarette in order to exhume the smoke he had built up inside of him before placing it between his lips once more. As she went on, it was almost as if she was teasing the edge of the iceberg, giving a glimpse of the truth but restraining it from fully sinking into the watery abyss. Nevertheless, what she said confirmed the majority of what that spoilt punk he had confronted in New Bark Town had said. It seemed that his journey had started to reach its long awaited destination.
"Interesting." He finished bluntly, as he considered it over, finishing off his cigarette to the final dregs before blunting it out into his coffee. He had sipped most of it and he was hardly going to savour the hideous remains. "You are indeed correct in your assumption. It is Team Rocket and Team Rocket only I am concerned with. Teams Aqua, Magma, Galactic and Plasma... None of them hold my curiosity longer than my mind needs to mark them as fool's errands. Expand the land and water of this already fragile balanced world? Mindless stupidity. Create a new world, a whole new galaxy? Completely foolish given how much left this world has to offer. Don't even get me started on Pokemon being deserving of liberation..." Shaking his head, he revealed an attitude all too common within the Rocket hierarchy, only his was extremely zealous. "Pokemon are slaves. Tools. Worthless, insignificant whelps. On their own they are useless. They are BELOW us. It is us, humans who have unlocked their true potential and honed their prowess. As a species, they are largely indebted to our guile and mind." Folding his arms as he sit up, as if rising to convey the tone of his speech. "Cast them aside, so that they may run amok... The talk of absolute lunacy." Having put down every other Team operating under the sun, or at least, the notable ones, he moved on to what she had let slip.
"Now. Let's say theoretically that a man of my personage wishes to go down this darker path of wealth and power. What would this person have to do to gain their acknowledgement?" Furrowing his brow, he was so close to unlocking the secret of joining Team Rocket, the intense longing was almost crushing.

Actually starting to feel a little drowsy with a much needed warm drink inside of her, the idea of finding a different resting spot was starting to cloud her mind. The presence of Tobias disappearing for a short moment as she wearily rubbed the bridge of her nose. At this point, even a bench out in the depths of this thick fog would do for her, atleast until she got further instructions from HQ. But instead she was stuck with a grouch who was most likely going to continue tearing her ear off with his gruff tongue. As if agreeing with multiple ideas in her head, the brunette moved both her feet to the floor and placed her hand on the table, preparing to push herself up and just walk off without even a farewell. However, the sight of a certain monkey approaching her was about to make her reconsider. Blinking with a blank expression as he held a cigarette in his little paws, she cautiously accepted it into her lips, flinching even as he snapped his fingers to set it alight. Thinking it was just the Pansear being sweet, it wasn't until the male spoke in his usual bluntness that she knew it was infact from him. Dropping her bag gently to the floor as if saying that she was going to stay, the brunette moved back into her chair. A content smile crossing her face now that a certain little luxury was in her lips, "An apology isnt need, I can accept when I'm in the wrong. But... Thank you." Taking in a longing dreg of the cigarette smoke, she laughed subtly as he did indeed shrug off her request at knowing his name. Well, she wasn't going to say hers either, as he didn't seem like the type who would give a Rattata's behind. "Thats alright, not knowing just adds more to the mystery." Turning her head to gently release the smoke from her lips, her eyes still focused on him as he mentioned a little more about Prometheus. Watching the legs off the fiery monkey dangle off from his broad shoulders, she still couldnt help but smile at his unique expression. "Ahh, I think I see. So Prometheus was a gift from someone? Hah... He doesnt seem like a bad Pokemon, well behaved unlike the uncontrolled beasts some rowdy trainers have."
Suddenly looking around for a place to tap away the ever growing line of ash at the end of her cigarette, she eventually settled on knocking it into the edge of her hot chocolate mug. Slotting it back into her mouth, the faint ideas of him being some sort of investigator still lingered in the back of her mind, even after his stern words. Remaining silent, Sharada lent back in her chair further, her eyes narrowing, scrutinizing him as if trying to figure out if he was lying or not. He was playing a really good impression if her thoughts about him were true but oddly, she seemed to believe him. Especially as his words linked into his personal thoughts about the many other groups which were dotted about the world. Even his views of Pokemon seemed like the typical Rocket... No, the word "typical" didn't describe him what so ever. For this spy, it was almost terrifying that she had managed to stumble across someone who genuinely wanted to be a part of this vile group, unlike her. Still, she had a role to play and if a possible recruit was right before her, then there was no need to rope in an innocent trainer.
"Hah." Breaking her unusual string of silence with a single laugh, she was about to mention the odd bond between him and his Pansear. Or atleast until he finally spat out the idea of he, himself being a Rocket, anyway. "Business, huh?" She questioned, finally feeling that she had been able to slot a single piece into this mysterious jigsaw puzzle. Resting her elbows back on the table, she couldnt help but wear a much more wicked smirk, "I wonder, too. What could someone like you do, hmmmmmm--" Continuing with her little game of tease for a few moments longer, she didnt want to test his patience for too long and she did owe him for that cigarette. Moving her eyes suggestively over towards the window and back, she pulled the cigarette from her curved lips, changing her expression to more of an innocent smile. "The answer is right in front of you. In more ways than one." Savouring the final dreg of her cigarette, the brunette didn't even consider tossing the left over butt into her mug and instead, scratched it against the tables surface. "A way to prove ones strength usually links to how many badges a trainer has in their possession. That grotesque building holds the first one of this region and usually shines a bit of promise to those who walk victorious out of those sliding doors. Get that and I'm sure you'll have no trouble attracting a little negative attention." Closing an eye, her stare remained heavily on him, "You should be cautious. Without a proper leader, bits of the Rockets are still in shambles. Something about him wanting to find his son, or changing his ways, or something. But hey, what would I know and what should I care? Maybe I am lucky enough to be sitting with the future boss." With her words taking a bit of a strange turn, she couldnt help but point a finger into her cheek, "And by the way, you should believe what I say. My source? First hand experience, if you know what I mean." Laughing, she knew that he probably wouldnt believe her. "Girls can be materialistic creatures. Money is the only thing that interests me. "

His eye looking up to her, he seemed interested in what she said about uncontrolled Pokemon before offering some sage knowledge about his own. "My Pokemon are restrained by order, with the restraint gone they are less than merciful in battle." About to go on, no less to state the capability of his own Pokemon a sudden raucous outburst from the rowdy youths over in the opposite corner dropped him out. Still angrily sore from how they shoved past him with so little respect, he was a boulder teetering on the edge. His hand sneaking into the innards of his jacket, he pulled out a Pokeball. "Excuse me. I have some other business to attend to that is of a higher importance at this moment in time." Raising his hand and aiming the soon to be called Pokemon in an area of space, a red light zapped forward to create the outline of the creature. Its tall, humanoid yet slightly dumpy appearance was confusing at first. It was only as its yellow hue and large perverted looking snout began to come into view that it was obvious whom he had summoned. "Asmodeus." His Drowzee looked up with a gleeful look of relish. Would it be time for his talents to be called upon? Shivering at the thought, Asmodeus fidgeted his fingers together in sheer anticipation.
"Deal with the louts behind us." Shiftily laughing to himself in a dodgy manner, the Pokemon was all too compelling. Before he could go, Prometheus jumped from Tobias' shoulder and used the table as a stand to deliver his speech. Talking in an emboldened tone, Asmodeus seemed to become aglow with what the silver tongued monkey had said. Shooing off the Drowzee, Prometheus returned to Tobias and looked over to indulge in the amusement. Storming over, barging past tables and knocking aside customers, Asmodeus was all too intent now that his chain had been cast off. Standing before the hoodlums, the Drowzee snickered evilly as it leered its eyes and twiddled its fingers in front of it. "HEY YOU PUNK ASS 'MON! WHO SAID YOU COULD BARGE HERE!" "YEAH! GET LOST BUTTMUNCH!" "MESS WITH THE VIOLET ROLLERS AND YOU FORFEIT YOUR LIFE!" Now all standing up from their seats and rolling up their sleeves, Tobias watched with no sign of expression on his face. Instead, he merely inhaled in his cigarette. This was going to be a remarkable test of his Pokemon's ability. "That's no way to speak to the master of your emotions and deeeeeesire, oooohweehweeeweee!! Hweehwee! I think you should all come out of the closet. NOW!" Pushing his palm forward, a glow seemed to envelope all three of the rowdy trio. Twitching as if being forced against their will the looked to one another in a robotic manner and pushed aside their seats to grope one another in unbridled lust. Snickering out loud at the ease of moving such unwitting pawns, Asmodeus seemed to feed off their energy.
Disgusting and shocking a number of the cafe's clientèle, some leaving exiting the establishment entirely, others cheering in celebration at this petty group of thugs getting their comeuppance, it seemed the Drowzee had proven its worth. Nodding his head as if that was enough, Prometheus jumped off Tobias' should acrobatically and waddled over to Asmodeus. Speaking in his influencing tongue, he somehow got the perverted carnal sinned maniac to stop. However, as opposed to stopping outright, he merely directed them out of the shop to continue on with their vulgar display. Returning back to Tobias, the male seemed pleased. Returning the Drowzee and allowing Prometheus to return by climbing up his arm, he looked back to Sharada. "You were saying? Ah yes. What can I do. Well, if it wasn't obvious, I have more than capable slaves at my disposal. Is that proof enough?" Assured that his pseudo-threat was enough to sway her, the woman changed her tune and presented him with something he was unexpected of, despite him realising it made sense logically. "Ah. I overstepped such a possibility... This bodes unexpected." Turning his head and gazing at the sight of the gym, his one single eye seemed to scrutinise it with a new found light. Having had no real desire to ever pursue the gym challenge, he found himself at a crossroads. "So I merely have to swat this Flying typed feather head and come into possession of a ridiculous little badge?"
As much as he hated it, it was an understandable test to perform. "Fine. I shall accept this decree." Having another cigarette presented to him and lit up, he took in a deep inhale as if thinking over the situation some more. "If that is the case, I require more intel." Falling silent, he looked at her expectantly. "Well? If you are as you say, someone who has had first hand knowledge, I want to know every single detail." Allowing her time to think, he talked out. "Power is a wondrous thing. It comes in so many facets and ways but i'm an earnest believer of the fact that knowledge equals power. If I enter this gym knowing the leader's weaknesses and strengths, I can beat him before he can have time to think." Running his hand over his chin, he had no doubt he could quash a petty low rank gym leader. Amazingly, this new found source of Tobias' appeared to have more information that he was keen to devour. It was something that confirmed the rumours he had heard. "No proper leader? I see. A power vacuum..." Trailing off, he took a deep dreg off of his smoke. "Perfect. I had desired such a scenario to be the case. If there is a void, then I shall fill it." Showing no deception in the grandeur of his aspirations, he merely flashed an insidious smile that was all too conveying of how far he would go to acquire them.
Her words about their previous leader seemed to make him smirk in ridicule. "Hmph, what an absolute fool. Should this hearsay be true, then he was weak to begin with. It is for the best that Team Rocket has such a lowly simpleton out of the way." Shaking his head, he snuffed out his second cigarette out into his coffee once more. "How does one go to organise one of the greatest criminal organisations this world has ever known, instilling fear and respect into the hearts of men only to throw it all away?" Sternly strengthening his tone, he finished. "I will not allow such a waste to be made." In all honesty, Tobias cared little for Team Rocket as a whole. To him they were nothing but mere pawns. They were a viable source of man power to be wielded. So long as the leadership fell into his grasp then he could use them however he wished. He would be untouchable, invincible. Figuring that this Sharada was just like any other Rocket, corruptible and willing should their be a price to sate her greed, he flashed another horrifically vile smile. "Perfect. In that case, I think I have learnt a great deal. Perhaps this chance encounter was the work of destiny and not mere coincidence..." Thinking it over, she seemed to be fairly aware of Team Rocket as a whole. "Should you will it, I believe we should become contacts. After all, it is only right you should have a direct feed to the future boss of Team Rocket."

It was clear from first glances at the stern man that his Pokemon were also kept on a tight line but even a man like him was up for letting them off their leash at some times. Which little Sharada was about to witness very soon. A part of her wanted to know what other Pokemon sat on his belt anyway, perhaps more exotic Unova creatures? It was a shame she was far too nervous to ask. "That's always a good sign. I'm sick to the back teeth with angsty Rockets and their irritating Pokemon, it's like they dont take anything seriously. I guess it is pretty much like Master like Pokemon." Flinching as a sudden burst of laughter from the other side of the cafe struck her ears, her icy blue eyes glanced over her shoulder only to see the group of males from before. They seemed like a right annoying bunch, if they were in a different location Sharada probably wouldnt have any qualms dishing out a bit of pain. "Psch, just like them..." Turning back to look at Tobias, she blinked upon seeing that their behaviour had angered him also, a hand slipping into his inner jacket. Smiling, the brunette cocked her head to one side, "Sure, our conversation can be put on hold."
Watching silently as he tossed the Pokeball forward, just what popped out wasn't as exotic as she hoped, infact the mere sight of such a creature sent shivers down her spine. "A Drowzee?" Creepy. That was one word to describe the freakish looking creatures, at that moment in time she felt sorry for the group of boys. Keeping her eyes fixated on the blank expression of Tobias as Prometheus chatted out it's orders, the sudden movement of the tubby Pokemon caused her to scrape her seat across to one side, moving away from it abruptly. Leaning to one side in her seat, Sharada watched as Asmodeus barged his way through the cafe, gulping as it came into contact with the boys. She wanted to prepare a Pokemon of her own incase worse came to worse but a horrified expression soon crossed her face as he worked his magic. The uncomfortable sight of the boys moving up and against each other was enough to make her immediately look away, her cheeks flustering after such an embarrassing display mixed with the emotionless gaze from Tobias. Who the heck was this man?!
Looking over Tobias' shoulder, the sight of the three males continuing on into the street just proved even more awkward, her eyes darting down only to see Asmodeus back by the table. She couldnt look anywhere without being flustered or terrified. Immediately clinging either hand onto her opposite shoulders, Sharada sat in a protective pose until the beast was returned back into it's Pokeball. Once it had gone and the sound of Tobias' voice rang out once more, she tried to feel a bit more at ease. "I-I can s-see your potential... V-Very good!" Hoping there would be no more perverted antics for the rest of the day, she breathed out heavily, listening as Tobias moved back into questions for her to answer. She didn't mind all too much though, at the moment he was just a fellow trainer, right? Just asking for tips for the first gym. Convincing herself with such thoughts, the brunette pulled a smile, although the surprise of the previous events were still apparently lingering in the back of her mind. "The way you word it does make it sound like a meaningless item but that is the way recruitment is set out. All you need is the one, however, from then on you may progress however you see fit. But really, it's quite amusing whipping a badge from them. It makes the town seem almost pitiful if not even the Gym Leader can defeat a 'Grunt'."
Listening to even more of his demands, the brunette smiled to him once again as he requested knowledge on Falkner. It's not as if the Gym Leader was going to give him too much trouble, a single glare would most likely be enough to make the floppy haired boy jump from the platform. "I guess I can help you out. But from what I've witnessed, you will most likely be fine without any prior knowledge." Thinking back to her own time in the Gym, she slowly remembered how much of a farce it was. Looking out of the window, past the groping men, she stared at the tall Gym building, a more serious look etching into her face. "The Gym Leader here is Falkner, a Flying type 'Master'. He's still kinda young and has a bit of a reputation to uphold since taking over his father but I'd still say he is too inexperienced. Almost like he doesnt want to be there." Focusing back on the chimney that was Tobias, she slowly continued, "I went in there with an Electric and Ice type, I tell you now his Pidgey is a joke. I reckon a Magikarp with Splash could do more... I guess the real problem is that blasted Pidgeotto." Thinking a little deeper, she rested her elbows on the table, shrugging her shoulders slightly, "He seems to have a thing for mud slapping. The accuracy of your Pokemon will drop in a matter of seconds, you miss, he hits, done. Pidgeotto isnt exactly slow either, you just gotta hope that you hit hard and quick." Laughing to herself, she gave Tobias a reassuring nod, "It's a breeze, a joke. The next town on is probably what you want to be aware and prepare for but thats for another day."
It wasn't really his longing for knowledge about the local Gym that questioned her but more like his reaction to the hierarchy of Team Rocket. His wicked smirk was unusual on his blank face, it was almost scary to see what such a tiny bit of knowledge could do to a man. However, she didnt want him to feel like he it was going to be calm sailing straight to the top, if ever whilst herself and Joe were around. "It's quite scary how much of a leader vibe you have. Perhaps its just the way you speak, I can imagine many Rockets feeling rejuvenated and inspired by your words." Placing a hand on her chest, she continued to try and lift his spirits that bit further. "I'm from foreign lands too, so I had never even heard of such a group until treading foot here. My current time has proved successful, my pockets are full and I get a thrill out of terrifying people from them merely seeing the red R on my clothes. But without that ambition from the top, it almost feels empty at the same time, as if it's getting boring. Everything is so weak around me, so easy to defeat and pin to the ground to walk over... Maybe you can inject a bit of life into things. I look forward to your attempts, anyway." Deciding it was time to change her tune somewhat, a part of her knew that an extra bit of challenge wasn't going to stir him. This horrific man seemed like he wanted to climb to the top regardless of everything and anything. "But there is a catch."
Resting her elbows back on the table, she linked her fingers together before using them as a rest for the side of her face. "Although we dont have a steady Leader, there are 4... Executives who are trying to run the joint. Personally, I only know of the one so far but I know that it'll be tricky to climb your way past them." Waiting for the next question to enter her ears, his invitation at remaining in contact with her almost came as a surprise. Looking around jokingly as if to suggest he was aiming his words to someone else, she placed her gaze back on him and gave a single nod. "I'm hardly going to reject after finding someone with an actual brain. That way, you can contact me if you ever need support." Delving into her bag, the brunette brought out her own Poketch, pressing about the screen to start a new contact. Blinking at the empty space where the name would most likely go, she laughed awkwardly, deciding to try her luck again. "N-Name? I guess I could label you Future Boss o-or something..." Trailing off, she thought perhaps sharing her name out first would make things less awkward. No, probably not. She didnt really want to give her name out either but if this guy was a potential threat for the future, it'd be best to hold onto it, to pass onto Joe if anything bad happened. "My name is Sharada, by the way." She spoke out with a subtle smile.

Creating the most forced of smiles on his face, he tried to humour Sharada as she joked about a mere grunt wiping the floor with the region's gym leaders. "Hilarity ensues, i'm sure." His smile quickly waning off, he seemed more intent on finding out about how best to combat the gym leader himself. Gazing out into the sky as he listened to her words, it was almost as if he was letting her delicate way of speech sink into his mind. "So. To summarise. Flying type user, young, inexperienced, sneaky battling tactics." Opening his one visible eye having closed it just before he began speaking, he made his final point. "Optimal speed required." Nodding his head, it seemed that he had already began dithering around with match ups and selecting which of his Pokemon he had acquired that he would use. "I believe that the fight should conclude easily as well. The number of Pokemon I managed to obtain have proven useful so far... Even if their previous trainer is coming across as something of a brain addled dolt." Letting slip more than he should, he was at least grateful that this femme he was talking to was part of the organisation he was striving to sign up with, no, control. He wasn't quite prepared to reveal he was an expert computer hacker but it would at least leave it out in the open he had obtained them through less than legal means.
The fact he was also determined to rise the ranks of Team Rocket was obvious, her compliments about his natural born leadership skills being evident to her. "I should think it speaks for itself the fact I carry such confidence. Where I hail from in Unova, i'm a very infamous criminal in my own right. It was only after I had begun to hear tales of this mobster like grouping of criminal trainers did I get my calling." Of course, that was only partly true. He was hardly going to mention the part about him bungling his last bank robbery. It had been going absolutely swimmingly. He had single handedly taken care of all the guards with his Magby, Ignatius, as well as near enough securing the vault door. It was practically seconds away before an unforeseen hitch decided to rear its head in his near perfect plans. "Nevertheless, if our Rocket comrades are in low spirits, it seems the perfect coincidence that I am also here." Smirking truthfully with his evil twisted smile, the fact this female grunt kept saying more and more stuff about the organisation that was music to his hears almost made him think he had got it far too easy. If they were in such a despondent and down on their luck state, it was ripe for him to exploit. Masses of people were always so much easier to control if someone could manipulate their motivation.
The only stick in the mud that presented itself to Tobias was the fact that the current Team Rocket wasn't as quite for the taking as he thought. He was beginning to find it odd that this mobster group could function so well without a leader, or at least a hierarchy at the top. Part of him had started to believe that it was merely remnants still soldiering on with their activities merely being a repeat of what they had done in the "good old days." So it wasn't entirely out of the question that there were some heavy hitters truly running the show. Or at least, doing as much as they could. "Hmph. It figures." Letting Prometheus take out another cigarette for him and lighting it as per usual, he laid back in his chair as he puffed out a series of smoke that scattered around him. "Four executives... And these executives. Is there in fighting between them? Each of the four vying for control over the other? A power vacuum?" Sourly lingering on his last point, if there was a true power vacuum in effect, it would make things lot messier. His questions didn't end there, amazingly, this was the most inquisitive Tobias had been in a while. "The one executive you are aware of. Describe him. His personality, strengths, weaknesses... Your honest opinion of him. I must gather as much information on them as possible." The way he spoke, it was cold. The same sort of coldness an assassin spoke in when they were going over the facts known about their chosen target just before a hit.
Taking the cigarette out of his mouth, he let it rest in between his right hand's fingers as he slowly seethed out a visible stream of smoke from his nostrils. "One final query. This is concerning the original leader... You say you know little but i'm still curious. From the sounds of things, he was on the tip of the iceberg. But he quit abruptly for those ridiculous reasons you mentioned. But surely, is there not more to it?" Frowning his brow, he wasn't stopping just there. "The Leader... A man that commanded a lot of respect. Would you say the same still holds true in the present?" Placing the cigarette back into his mouth as it drooped downwards, he seemed to be plotting a scheme. "If I were to let's say come across this boss in my travels, surely by gaining his blessing as the successor then I can overrule these executives, no?" It was a long shot but this world wasn't as big as it seemed. His questions finally running out of steam, the grizzled criminal sparingly moved on to contact details. Seeing that she had a rather rudimentary Poketch, he pulled one of his own out. Adorned to his wrist was an incredibly flashy Poketch that must've been made out of high quality premium materials. It was a vulgar display of wealth and an obvious indicator of his success as a bank robber in Unova. Tapping through his display, he eventually came to assign a new contact page. "For now you shall call me Tobias." Looking down at his display, he dexterously added in her name and it was all too clear he had incredible speed with his fingers. The fastest hands in the world. As he finished, he bluntly recalled it as if ensuring it was correct. "Sharada." As he pulled his sleeve back up, he sat back in his chair and looked at her. "Nothing else you can mention about the group? Anything at all."

Picking up on his forced smile, Sharada laughed quietly and glanced away. Obviously her words had been childish or something, he had been even blunter than usual. What Rocket Grunt would enjoy battling a Gym Leader just for a few kicks? Perhaps a handful but surely he would be more impressed or interested if she came across as violent. money and power hungry or something. Sighing to herself, she merely nodded as he practically summed up her lengthy description of the Violet City Gym battle. There wasn't really much to say as it really was just simple. It wasn't as if the very first one of a region would prove too much of a challenge anyway. Perking up at the mention of his team, the way he worded his speech made it sound like the Pokemon with him weren't necessarily his. One thing was for sure, Prometheus was a gift, did that mean the others were from the same person? Or maybe it was something a bit more serious. "A dolt? So your team are from someone else? I guess that'd explain the Drowsee, they aren't seen much around this part of the region." Somehow managing a smile, her thoughts still lingered on the idea that all his team was most likely a gift from the same person but still, she prodded at an idea. "Or perhaps they found their way onto your belt illegally."
Having no idea that the majority of his team, if not all, were infact previously owned by the closest person in the world to her, Sharada shrugged off if they had been stolen or not and went back to buttering this "future boss" up. Her insides almost ground to a halt as he admitted to being a criminal, the Rockets being a group which best suited his skills. If that was the case, right now Sharada could be sitting opposite even a murderer, how was she supposed to act? Clutching the edge of her seat with her hands tightly, she tried to look as intrigued as possible, nudging a few questions his way for once. "You dont say? Whatever you do, you must be perfect at as you made it here without being questioned by any security. This just makes me even more interested in you." Smiling back at his wicked grin, although she didn't personally agree with all this, she pictured such a powerful sounding criminal like him to be a hit with most of the dumber grunts on her level. He had a silver tongue that just forced you to pay attention to him and even as a spy, he could probably convert her to a full Rocket if he knew and tried. "I'll take a step back and watch you rise quickly through our ranks, then. Theres no doubt that you will gain a few bemused stragglers under your wing before your following of grunts grow. Just remember that I'll be your number one fan, okay?"
Sitting back in her chair, Sharada had to cast an uncomfortable gaze out of the window as Prometheus lit up yet another cigarette for Tobias. With folded arms, she rubbed her fingers together in almost an irritated manner, her ever growing addiction showing as her mind began to nag at her for one. Yet she wouldnt dare ask, she'd just have to live without it for now. Shoving aside the craving, she shook her head slowly as she was questioned about the four executives. "I'm not too sure. They are the sort of people whom I know are around but I havent had the... pleasure of meeting. I'm not aware of any fights breaking out so I would guess that they work together fairly well. Or atleast, they probably have the force themselves until the boss returns." Flinching as Tobias then threw another grouping of questions at her, the brunette held up her hands and gestured for him to calm down some. "There is no need to rush, I'm getting to it." The smile slowly disappearing from her face, she began to recall the time of meeting one particular executive down in Slowpoke Well. "It was only for a brief few moments but the one I know of is called Proton. He is the one who stations grunts or new recruits down to Slowpoke Well in Azalea to test their loyalty by snipping off the tails of Slowpoke." Pausing, she gave a quick thought to her lovely Greil, disguising it as a moment to think deeper about the blue haired man. "His choice of Pokemon? I have no idea. But he had no problem in picking up a cleaver and getting himself nice and bloody." Getting onto his personality, Sharada's own seemed to take a bit of a nose dive. Letting out an unimpressed sigh, her face scrunched up with irritation. "His flirting attempts with sliced off tails in either hand wasn't all that impressive to me. 'Seems to be incredibly interested in the money side of things as he was in a hurry to trade in the tails he collected for some cash. He has a fierce tongue when needed too, I guess he is... satisfactory. I dont think he would suit the top and most of his followings are the female grunts or guys that wish they could be him."
Pausing as Tobias held the cigarette in his finger tips and tried to re question her about the current boss, it was becoming clear that he was deadly serious about taking the top spot. She knew a tiny bit more information than she was letting on, her unsure expression followed by silence giving it away. Mashed bits of words from Joe as well as endless gossip from fellow grunts made her a little unsure but regardless, she let out the remainder of what she knew. "I didn't want to say as it sounds completely false, but..." Trailing off, she thought a little harder before looking to Tobias in the eye. "I heard a few years back, when Team Rocket were situated in Kanto, that a lone kid fought his way through the whole group and single handedly took down the boss. When I say kid, I literally mean one of those ten year old brats. The boss disappeared shortly after and it was the current Executives which rounded up the remaindered of what little they had left before moving here but they havent heard anything from the boss since." Blinking, she stared at Tobias further with a serious face, "You may very well find him on your travels. I heard he is in Johto. If you were to gain his trust and have the title handed over to you, then even better. Im sure if the boss would show his respect for you, others would follow. Of course, there will always be one or two groups which would miss the old leader but they can be kicked into shape or easily disposed of by your more loyal faces."
Strapping her usually bagged Poketch to her wrist, the brunette might just have found a reason to use the machine. Having only used it to contact people once or twice, perhaps now she would get more use out of it. Firstly reading out her number, she paused as he finally revealed his name. Looking at him quietly for a few moments, she eventually broke out into a smile, "Tobias." she replied back, pressing in his information in about half the speed he had done. As the machine fell back under his sleeve, Sharada couldnt help but notice one or two things, "You typed that all out so fast, incredible!" Although, his words infact led to yet another question, in which she took on in deep thought. She had explained a great deal to him, practically everything she knew about the group thus far herself. The only other bits were the usual mission giving but going out and stealing stuff or causing havoc was just common knowledge, right? She didnt have to explain how they worked. Besides that, there was only really one or two other things which hit her. "I... guess I could explain the currency? It's nothing too amazing but perhaps it would be best to get a heads up for when you meet Bob." Rubbing the back of her head, she briefly began her insight in the world of tails, "In Team Rocket, we trade Slowpoke Tails for cash or Pokemon. They are worth an insane amount on the Black Market which is why there are regular missions down in Slowpoke Well in Azalea. You remember the Unova Festival? We have a tent there where a trader of ours have some of the more rare creatures Unova have to offer... O-Oh and Bob? He is the recruiter here in Violet. Poor guy has ran into nothing but bad luck lately and he has been bleeding from a few places but he should be back for when you get that badge... Hah, I wonder what he'll have you do. I'll be sure to put in a good word for you."

Raising an incredulous eyebrow as she dared to gingerly touch upon the subject of his acquisition of these Pokemon, Tobias fell stone cold silent as he stared at her. "No. These were obtained... By chance." Bluntly shutting her out from knowing the truth, he wasn't quite ready to reveal all of his skills and talents. Not before he had signed up with the organisation. Instead, he threw a mere scrap at her to keep her inquisitive nature contented for the interim. "As I said, the original owner was a dolt. I firmly believe if you are too incompetent to safeguard your own Pokemon, then they are not worthy of being in your possession." His methodology was hardly legal to begin with but it wasn't helped at all by the fact he used his savant like ability to hack into high security networks to take what he felt was owed to him. "I care little for a Pokemon's rarity or number. As long as they are of high demand on the black market, that is all they are good for." Letting his cigarette smoke from the corner of his mouth as it drooped down, he hastily added on. "Oh. As well as how powerful they are. In Asmodeus' case, he may not be a naturally excelling fighter but he has his uses outside of battle. Try not to annoy me lest you wish to face the consequences."
Realising that she was, for lack of better words, seemingly trying to butter him up, he seemed ever so cold and distant. He had always been aloof, bit of a lone wolf so perhaps that was the reason why he was so unabashedly blunt with the way he handled people. That or he literally abhorred the idea of social interaction. "Biggest fan or not, I would sooner remember you for being a trustworthy accomplice. I want capable members beneath me, not try hards." Tilting his head as he looked back out the window, he thought back to his arrival here. "Hmph, it wasn't all that clean. This stupid girl would not stop following me... Had she been in law enforcement, I would likely be freezing in a cell." His eyes flickering at the cloud outside, he had a scary feeling that she was about after seeing a woman pass by in red and white frilly clothing. Shaking his head with a weary rub of his eyes, he resumed smoking, having handed the cigarette to Prometheus to hold. While he did, the naughty little monkey seemed interested in trying it out for itself. Plopping it into its mouth and taking a huge dreg from it before spitting it out into his hands while trying to hide the cough.
Now as silent as a statue, he sat there idly as he listened in depth to Sharada's lengthy detailing about the organisation. He had well and truly stumbled on a lucky break here what with finding an actual Rocket member. As she came to a closer, he mumbled, going over what she had said, his gravelly voice becoming more apparent. "It sounds like for someone who abandoned this organisation that 'The Boss' is still held with high esteem... Odd... I find it peculiar that such a thing be true. Was this boss really so influential?" Shaking his head, he listened with interest about Proton, eventually coming to his own conclusion of the executive. "This Proton however, he sounds like a homicidal maniac. An absolute lunatic. Such a fool is better suited for Grunt work. Perhaps the hierarchy is in such a dire situation that promotions as such are being wrongly handed out." Undoing his tie a little for comfort, he considered his own chances. "I should think my own merits should outshine this loose cannon." Concluding with a subtle sneer over his face, Prometheus decided to do the same as he looked disgusted at the mention of the man. For a Pokemon, Prometheus was really trying to take after his trainer, as repulsive and morally bankrupt that he might be.
Proceeding on with their in depth discussion, Tobias was still somewhat surprised by the talk of this original boss. It seemed all too impossible from where he was sitting. "This is ridiculous. Team Rocket had become so infamous, that even tales of their evils spread to the lands of Unova. And then I arrive here and hear this? A man who was supposedly held in such high regard and favour was beaten be a kid? A KID?!" For the first time, Tobias had shown some genuine emotion, that of shock on his face. Shaking his head, it seemed that he had cast his verdict. "In that case, I have little time for a fully grown man who loses to a disgusting infant. It is time Team Rocket gets the leadership that it so rightfully deserves." Making a few chimpy quirky noises, Prometheus had stood up and seemed to be speaking Feverently in his own tongue as if agreeing to Tobias' statement in a lengthy speech of his own. "Settle down." Muttered Tobias as he grew tired with his stooge's antics. "Hmph, in that case I shall keep my eyes and ears open. Performing a coup d'etat of my own would be most satisfying." Having exhausted that field of topic, he relaxed in his chair and remained calmly silent as if brooding over the revelations.
Unfortunately, she seemed to be revelled by some other facet of him. "Think nothing of it. That is how fast all Unovans type." Calling her bluff, he believed her to be too stupid to work out the truth. Instead, he listened to her final insights into the way the group worked. "So, we have a currency of Slowpoke Tails...? Interesting yet unsurprising. Back in Unova, many of the criminal organisations trade in Swoobat tails. I believe I still have a couple from my time there." The last topic of theirs was that of a man named Bob. "Bob you say? Rather plain name... Hm. I will be sure to remember him." Believing he had bled as much blood in terms of information from her as possible, he remembered one last question he needed the answer too. Tobias was a shrewd one after all. "Lastly, I have but one final question. Team Rocket is infamous but surely it has its enemies? Any that I should be aware of?" Awaiting her response, the man's face seemed to cringe as he held a hand over his forehead to steady himself. Prometheus seemed to twig onto this fact and with a worried looking, pushed his own warming head up against his patched eye. "W-Well?! Answer me!" He bellowed, not quite realising he had raised is voice so angrily.

Sighing in the back of her mind, the whole linking of the words 'original trainer' and 'obtained by chance' were clear enough to read, even a toddler could put such a simple two together. Resting the side of her cheek into the palm of her hand, she pulled an weary expression, looking to Tobias with her narrow icy blue eyes. "Whatever you say, boss." Having her Pokemon playfully stolen in the past, she didn't appear all too happy by perhaps falling under the incompetent title Tobias was so firm in believing. Some were so skilled in the art of theft that it was impossible to notice. "Stealing is an everyday task. It'll be interesting to see your skills in action." Trailing off, her eyes widened just slightly as he placed down what almost seemed like a threat. It was almost funny too, considering he knew nothing about her really, obviously she was being looked down upon somewhere along the line. Sitting back in her chair, she held up her hands, "Ahh, there is no need for all that. Here I am spilling out all the information, asking for nothing in return and now you're gonna set your perverted monster on me? Haha, no thanks."
Parting her lips with a slight smile, she was about to speak until her throat ran dry from words she couldnt quite say. Instead, Tobias continued to hammer nails into her coffin, burying her bit by bit. Sending a glare down to the tables surface, she snarled to herself before shrugging her shoulders. "Many apologies for not seeming capable. I warn you now, you'd be pleased with someone as strong as me when you meet the other typical Grunts." Still a little grumpy about how he was looking down at her, Sharada listened in on his journey into the region, frowning a little at his mentioning of a girl following him. Blinking in further surprise at his reaction from a passing girl outside the window, she couldnt help but laugh. Both at the idea of Tobias having a little stalker and also the quick dreg of the cigarette from Prometheus. Covering her apparent smile, she stared at the male before her, "I guess it's that mysterious aura about you what attracted her, whomever she may be..." Folding her arms onto the table surface, she glanced to Prometheus as he spluttered from the smoke. Giggling at him as Tobias thought over the words she had said, his sudden conclusion on the Team Rocket Boss made her think for a moment. "Maybe if I had been in the group since the very beginning I would understand better myself. But all I know is that a majority of the Rockets are working out a way to bring him back. But some want a boss now, it's all very here and there." Delving into the matter of Proton, Sharada really had little to say about the leech. In her head, she couldnt quite work out which of the two she would prefer as the new boss. Either would be quite terrifying. Despite his sour presence, Tobias did hold that bit more of a leadership skill. If his Pokemon were to grow in power, he would certain strike fear into the hearts of people as the old Team Rocket once did.
Amused by the genuine shock spread over Tobias' face, it was pleasing to see that this man wasn't completely frozen and actually held some sort of feeling. Tilting her head as he repeated her words, she wasn't sure how to make it any clearer for him. "Thats riiight. A lone child. I'm very sorry if you are disappointed but it works in your favour, yeah?" Nodding repeatedly as he spoke out some spiel about it being time for the Rockets to gain a true leader they deserve, she couldnt help but be overcome by the passionate speech from Prometheus. Almost more interested in the little monkey that Tobias himself for a few moments, she grinned at his cute little chimping noises, "Is that so? I see, I see~ I hear the boss has a Persian partner but a fiery Pansear suits such a fierce red R much nicer." Sitting back as she watched the little monkey be told to quieten down, she chirped up despite noticing he had fallen deep in thought. "The boss is still the boss, just get his blessing and then do whatever you like after you get the whole of the Rockets behind you. Dont slip up just because you personally think he is ridiculously pathetic."
Still looking at him expectantly as if waiting for him to reveal that he had some sort of knowledge with computers, she felt almost deflated as he revealed something else entirely. "O-Oh, is that so?" She questioned in a disappointed tone. Nodding as their conversation was slowly be surely drawing to a close, she spoke out in agreement to round up the loose ends, hanging around at the mention of Bob. "If that is his real name or not is the question. Hah, he does his job though, so what does a few letters mean." Unexpectedly, Tobias suddenly took a turn for the worst. Had she said something wrong? Sure he was grumpy but now he was clutching his forehead as if he was in pain, Prometheus seemed to be acting oddly too, pushing against his eyepatch. Jumping in her chair as he raised his voice to her viciously, the brunette glared to him. She didnt quite know what was going on but there was no need to speak like that to her. Perverted Drowzee or fiery monkeys, it didnt matter, with her current team she would like to think she could curb stomp him. Gulping, she managed to stammer out an answer before showing her concern, "Enemies? How about the world? If you dont see the red R, then they are against you." Cautiously standing to her feet, the brunette walked around to the otherside of the table, not touching him but holding her hands out as if about to, "--Are you alright, though? If there is something wrong just say, alright? How about another drink, anything, just let me know."

Raising a callous smile, Tobias saw her words as something of a challenge. Tobias was by no means an expert thief in acquiring Pokemon subtly when it came to in person. Instead, he preferred a more hand's on, direct approach. "Hmph. We shall see indeed. Be warned however, I do not act sneaky nor do I imply myself to be subtle or anything of the sort. I ensure complete and utter domination of my opponent through any means possible. Only then do I acquire that which I seek." Leaning back, he clutched his fingers together into an arch and continued. "Of course, if we are talking of hacking through virtual means, I am without equal. None can surpass my talent." Brash, arrogant and cocky. The only problem was that he wasn't too far off from the truth. Only the security admin for the last box he had raided had put up anything he could even remotely call a panic. If anything it was almost unsettling how adaptive to his attacks the mysterious person was. He'd be sure to shame him in the near future however. It would only be a matter of time before they drew swords once more on the cyber plane. Funnily enough, her talk of the 'perverted monster' dawned another realisation to the hacker. "Ah yes. Asmodeus should also come in handy while following through with acquisition of targeted Pokemon."
While he didn't show it, Tobias was somewhat amused by Sharada's reactions at being passed off as another simpleton grunt. He wasn't sure why he felt amused, as he never really felt this for any other living soul but perhaps it was the cold or he was merely giddy on getting so much information. Nevertheless, her assuredness piqued his interest. "So you're a cut above the rest... I see." Staring coldly at her eyes with his own dulled one left, he raised a proposition. "Once I have dug my roots into this organisation, I shall call upon your assistance in the operations." Having some powerful back up was never something Tobias would say no to. The only problem was his own aloofness. It'd have to be something he begrudgingly accepted. What's more was this chaotic state Team Rocket was in. "Urgh. A complete and utter state of chaos. It's almost a civil war without the infighting all too visible. The fact there is some cry for leadership as you say at least offers some exploit to be had." Shaking his head as he went deep into thought, he realised he'd likely have to round up and dispose of any troubling dregs still loyal to the old regime. To be expected of course, it wasn't as if the very same purging didn't happen in other coups throughout history.
With their conversation reaching the turbulent part with Tobias' wound kicking in to stir trouble, he somehow calmed himself down with the warm throes of Prometheus eventually combating his madness inducing attacks. Rubbing a hand over his eye as the Pansear continued to remain close, he rocked back and forth, not wanting to say anything should he spill into a crazed outburst and blew his chances so late into the game. Gasping sharply, he barely managed to balance its throbbing as he got rid of her concerns. "Nonsense. Nothing. I'm fine. Fine. FINE." Drooping his head, he let out another gasp as he looked up. "Hmph, consider your outline of Team Rocket's enemies acknowledged. It's a more than acceptable way of life for me. I already adhere to such a philosophy on my own terms anyway." Clenching his eye shut once more, he realised things were going to only get uglier. "I must depart now. I have all the information I require and I should make preparations to obtain the badge." Standing up without so much a wave, a goodbye or a gesture, the finely dressed man and his Pansear made an exit for the door. It was a thoroughly bizarre encounter, that was for sure. A man of his word, Sharada would likely hear from him once he had obtained the specified badge.

Seeing a smile on Tobias' face brought another onto her own, the brunette rubbing her hands together greedily as she tried to pretend stealing was a favourite of hers. This was more like it, Sharada herself had little knowledge of being sneaky or subtle, a part of her thinking that the way she was doing things caused her to stand out from the Rocket crowd. However, if this man felt it was necessary to charge in head first, it gave her some feeling of relief. Perhaps she could really get a mission with him some time soon and just linger in his shadow. "Now you're a guy I would like to work with afterall." Watching with an impressed gaze as he sat back confidently and arched his fingers, his hidden skills seemed to make themself known. "A computer guy, eh? Now that is something I didnt expect." Tilting her head and shrugging her shoulders, the brunette didn't quite know what her 'skill' would even be. "Myself... I dont really know. Perhaps I could count as a spy of sorts? Like now, I'm not wearing my uniform, I probably look like one of the least people in this building who'd be a Rocket. I gather information before a mission and attack from the inside. Or, I'll just go in head on if I'm feel aggitated."
Unknowing of Tobias being amused by her words, Sharada appeared deadly serious. She knew fully well that she wasn't the strongest person out there and for all she knew this guy was just playing with her and had a Metagross on his belt or something. Yet still she appeared adamant in that she wasn't unhappy with her power. Since the start of her journey she had changed an incredible amount. From a shy girl who pushed people away in Dewford, she had a new wall of confidence with a powerful team of friends to back her up. At the moment she was on the wrong road but the meaning at the end is enough to make up for it. "Yes. I'm not the sort of person to explode and challenge you to a battle in an act of arrogance, however. To some people, I know that my place is below them. I'll just have to show off in a mission the next time we meet, to see if I suit your standards." Falling silent as Tobias began to shake his head and fall deep in thought, perhaps about trying to take over Team Rocket, she was pleased that he knew this wasnt going to be a walk in the park. Whilst some members inside wouldnt like the change, there was no doubt that outsiders would also be furious. "Please dont worry. At the moment, we need a worthy leader. If you can prove that, then others will come around."
His sudden change in personality had been enough to bring the brunette to her feet, pulling a concerned expression as he writhed in his chair, clasping hold of his eye patch. He looked so angry, even touching his shoulder right now would probably lead to her being tossed through the glass window, so she pulled her hand back and watched helplessly. Something wasnt right with him but it must be something he knew about, otherwise he'd be calling out for help. She could'nt question a man in pain, even if her suspicion about it having something to do with his missing eye. Finally hearing his voice, his attempts at trying to show her that he was fine really didn't work. Trying to cover it by making a haste exit, the sound of his footsteps kicked her into action. "H-Hey! Hold it!" Scrambling for her bag on the floor, by the time she had secured it he had already walked out the door. Chasing out of the cafe after him, her eyes were met with a disheartening sight. The thick fog throughout the city hadn't lessened, infact it was probably thicker. It had given Tobias the perfect escape as he was now no where to be seen. Losing her recruit, Sharada slumped her shoulders and let out a heavy sigh. Her own questions would have to wait until their next meeting afterall.
