Name: Roxanne Delta
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Appearance: Roxie has short, spunky brown hair with the tips dyed bright red. Her bangs stop just passed her eyes so it always looks like she's looking through tall grass. Her ears are pierced three times on her right ear and she has a barbell piercing across the top of her left ear. She has tanned skin as a result from spending a lot of her time outside. Her shoulders are narrow and lead down to wide hips so she looks a bit like a pear but she's proud of her curves. Her torso is about as long as her legs which make her a bit stocky. She usually wears red t-shirts with a black vest and blue jean shorts in warm weather. When it's the cooler season she'll wear a black hooded jacket over her typical red tee and long blue jeans. Her shoes are red high-top Converse.
Personality: Roxie has been described as the calm before the storm. She is very passionate and will defend whatever she believes in and the people she is close to. She has learned to control her angry outbursts and has been yelling at people less often as she's gotten older. Although she's prone to anger, she's also been described as mature for her age. She is very logical and can think through any kind of problem. Friends can turn to Roxie and depend on her in sticky situations since she rarely panics. Roxie has a great sense of humor and doesn't hesitate to make fun of anyone, including herself. She usually comes off as very sarcastic but once people get to know her they understand that she can be very caring and protective of her friends.
History/Background: Roxie was born and raised in Ecruteak City by her parents and grandparents. The Delta family lived in a small two bed room house in the north part of Ecruteak near the famed Bell Tower. Until Roxie was ten years old she shared a bedroom with her parents but once she was old enough, her parents made a room for her out of the attic. It was small but it suited her and out of the only window in her room she could see the Bell Tower. She enjoyed the view and really felt protected by the tower. For most of her childhood Roxie has worked with her mother and grandmother on MooMoo Farm while her father and grandfather sailed from Olivine City. Roxie has always loved being around the Miltank and loved her town and family very much but she always yearned to explore all the cities of Johto and discover new Pokemon. She had read books about Pokemon and watched the brave trainers come through town to challenge Ecruteak’s gym leader and his Ghost Pokemon. Finally she proposed to her parents and grandparents that she wanted to become a Pokemon trainer. Her grandparents were very enthusiastic about the idea but her parents were a bit hesitant, especially her father. He knew that letting his only daughter go off on a Pokemon adventure would mean that she was growing up and she wasn’t his little girl anymore. After making the hardened sailor cry his eyes out, Roxie waved goodbye to her family and promised to make them proud.
