I recently saw Taken 3. I have never seen any of the Taken movies before but I had heard good things about them. I probably should watch the first two one of these days as it was not bad at all. A few of the scenes involving the cop chases were wild to say the least and maybe a bit over the top but overall I did like it.

I watched Inside Out yesterday, that was fun, though I would have wished to have seen more of what happened inside of other people's minds as well.

The last movie I saw was 'Ant-Man'. I actually thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was a nice, light-hearted take on a super hero-genre movie, and I thought Paul Rudd was a great choice for the lead.

I saw Cast Away recently, with Tom Hanks. Stranded guy, going a bit crazy with loneliness, and making himself a friend out of a soccer ball. I were a bit distracted, but I've liked it since the first time I saw it. The reunion was nostalgic.

I saw Jaws a night or two ago. I had heard of it for years now but I had never seen it before until now and I am glad that I did. Seeing as how the movie came out in the 70's they did a really nice job with the shark given the lack of technology at the time. There was even a reference to the USS Indianapolis in the movie which was quite fitting given the number of sailors that were eaten by sharks when that ship went down of which one of the characters was a survivor from that sinking although the movie does get some of the facts wrong. I plan on watching the others as I can but the first one is pretty good and you can bet just to be safe I will not get on any ship smaller than a destroyer after watching this movie.

The last movie I saw was Inside out. It was the best, the best, the best! Lovely movie I have to say! And it was great for my son too. :] He enjoyed it a lot, plus getting out I am sure he enjoyed that too LOL. Good kid movie overall, gets sort of.. darkish but.. it's understandable, nothing too extreme just the basic of family life honestly.

The last one I watched was Rio 2 As with Shrek forever after I do not agree on the thing they are telling the fathers, but otherwise I enjoyed watching it.

Full Metal Jacket. I have seen it many times before and I still love the drill instructor scenes. R Lee Ermey was fantastic as a USMC drill instructor. An amazing thing about his lines was that most were improvised by him and not in the script. The second half of the movie has a far more dark tone to it overall but there are still a few funny parts mixed in with the more serious parts.

(I'm a youtube fan of the guy who did the Toothpaste commercial song in Inside Out)
If you count documentaries, then I recently showed my Nana Blackfish. (Big mistake) If not, I just saw Jurassic World for the second time. It was great! I've never seen any of the others (I plan to), but the CGI was really awesome.

I saw The Revenant on Friday night. Thought Leo did a fantastic job, though the movie felt a bit long at times, and some of the scenes were a little too gory for my taste.

The last movie I watched, which is officially a movie, is Star Trek: First Contact. I really liked it, though you will have to have seen the serie to understand most of it, and I still had to ask my boyfriend for some of the backstory
