Atropos was quite pleased of her work as her Curse attack had been a rather useful way to weaken Cascoon. Now that the cocoon Pokemon was hardly able to keep it's eyes open Marchbaby felt in his gut that this would be the last round. He knew it was time to send Bonecrusher back out as the little steel dinosaur would get a huge benefit from being the active Pokemon when Cascoon fainted. Before Marchbaby could say anything however Atropos was already thanking Arceus that she would not have to attack the bug again as she still despised Silcoon and Cascoon. She still wanted to watch the end of the battle although she was still in fear of Kamikaze as the demoness stood next to her.

Both Pokemon were rather impressed by the toughness the bug Pokemon showed as even Curse had not been enough so far to get Cascoon to surrender. As Atropos managed to keep calm next to Kamikaze she began to speak hoping it would keep herself calm around the menacing dark type next to her. " I will say this much about these little bastards they sure as hell can take a physical beating even with their ugly looks and near motionless bodies. It is too bad they cannot fight back very well at all. Sure they take a frustrating amount of time to beat with physical attacks. All well at least it is fun to see the disgusting bastards suffer before they get put down. Hopefully that tin can over there can end this now as I am getting sick of looking at this bug."

As Atropos finished speaking Marchbaby finally got ready to give his orders. " Atropos you have earned a rest as this should be the last round anyway. Bonecrusher should be able to handle things from here now that your Curse has drained most of Cascoon's health." As Bonecrusher stepped back in front of Marchbaby the small Pokemon was ready to bring this battle to a close. The young dinosaur was exhausted after all the Headbutt attacks he had tried but with Cascoon barely being awake he was hoping that this would be the last one he would have to do for a while. Marchbaby was getting tired as well but this battle would have to end before anyone could rest. " I think we are all quite tired right now so lets hope this round is the last one. Bonecrusher use Headbutt one more time."

With the Aron switched back in, there was not enough time for the steel type Pokemon to attack. The curse attack seemed to activate itself while the Cascoon was using Harden. In a mixture of white and red glow, the Cascoon's health was depleted from the ominous curse laid by the ghost type. The cloth maiden grinned from one eye to the other, as the sight of these disgusting bugs fainting pleased her. The ever-blinking Cascoon shut its eyes and stopped. In a few seconds, the local tree residents swiftly picked up their peers with a tactic use of string shots. The fainted Cascoon was carried right back up into the tree branches, to recover until the next time that it would be knocked down from the tree, or when it would evolve into a Dustox.

Bonecrusher was happy that he was able to take on a quite sturdy foe as training, and with the Cascoon fainted, he knew it was his turn to use headbutt on the trees again. The trained Aron took a few steps back, and then charged forward as the head glowed a little bit. Then, the Aron's hardy head slammed onto a tree, and... nothing fell down? Or was there? Atropos, having her supernatural sixth sense, blurted a "Look up!" to warn about the presence of this opponent. Surely something was disturbed by the Headbutt!

The Aron looked up, and saw a giant beetle fluttering its wings. It had a blue body with a giant horn on the head. Something about this bug was giving the fellow human an intimidation. Under this moonlight, its hardy body shined beautifully, and yet its size was aesthetically sending fears down a spine, or rocks. Perhaps this was the bug that was bothering the homeowners of this estate. It wings don't look like it could bother people sleeping at night. Its size looked like it could damage a wall but there don't seem to be a damage. So what was its problem?

Maybe the fact that it's a fighting bug who don't recognize who the estate owners were and don't leave them alone?

Ooc: Replacing Mud Slap with Iron Head. Also as much as I hate to do it I think going by Heracross'es last 4 moves will be best as with my luck it will not know Brick Break. So it should know Brick Break, Counter, Take Down, and Chip Away. If I had better luck overall I would have tried the rng but as my usual luck is terrible I have to go with the sure fire thing.

As Marchbaby was half asleep he had no idea what Pokemon had just jumped out of the tree until he saw a giant blue beetle with a huge horn in front of his Pokemon. He knew this had to be one of the Bug's the estate owner was worried about just by looking at it. Heracross was a rather uncommon sight in Johto but Marchbaby had heard stories or their amazing strength as well as their unique typing which caught many trainers off guard. He could not believe the size of Heracross and began to think it may be a tougher fight than the Scyther Bugsy had used against him. As Marchbaby tried to come up with a plan he was impressed with the Heracross'es huge muscles and wings that made most of they look tiny. He was far from an expert on Heracross but he knew this one was pretty special.

Bonecrusher was in awe that such a large Pokemon had been living in the tree. He had not expected a giant Heracross to come out of the tree ready for a fight. Bonecrusher did not want to be anywhere near the beetle as it dwarfed him in size and power. Atropos was far less worried however as she was already dead not much more could happen to her. Marchbaby reached for his Pokedex to find out as much as he could before the battle began. His heart sunk seeing Heracross'es type as a large number of his Pokemon were weak to fighting types however he quickly remembered Atropos was immune to those moves. He was not completely sure that he was making the right choice but for the time being it seemed to be his best option since he could not pass this chance up to battle a Heracross and try to capture it.

Atropos knew Marchbaby was going to try and use her and she was not happy. She hated bugs but as much as she hated Silcoon and Cascoon Heracross had been placed at the top of her hate list. She hated the very idea of fighting the godzilla of bug types until she realized how much experience she would gain from fighting one. As Atropos mumbled under her breath Marchbaby knew he had to start the battle before Heracross could gain the upper hand." Atropos I know Heracross is quite a big Pokemon with a lot of power but you can do this. It may take a bit to weaken Heracross enough to try a capture so you will have to hang tough. Use Shadow Sneak to start things off." He said as he stood in amazement of the beetle.

Surprised, amazed, and awed by the sudden appearance of this giant blue beetle, Marchbaby and his Pokemon who were outside of their Pokeball were taken by surprise of this big beetle, which make the battling of one cocoon Pokemon and another cocoon Pokemon more exciting. When you have been fighting three different kinds of cocoon Pokemon, a big beetle like this would be the cherry on a cake. The bug's appearance by itself hinted the rarity of how often they show themselves to another human.

Despite hating bug types, Atropos knew that she would be the best offense against a fighting typed Bug Pokemon. Grumbling, the ghost type utilized the moonlight and position herself safely, and then attack by extending her shadow closer to the Heracross. Sensing that a battle was ongoing, the Heracross glowed and embraced itself to retaliate whatever attack that the ghost type would brought. Instead, Atropos merely attack the bug by an extension of her shadow. Heracross tried to retaliate but to no avail, since Atropos was a ghost type. Atropos grinned happily, that at least this turn she wasn't affected by the fighting type move.

With the first round over Marchbaby was amazed by the bulky defense Heracross had displayed. Even with Atropos using a large amount of energy she had barely put a dent in the beetle. Atropos may not have liked the bug at all but she even had to admit that Heracross was tough. " Damn you are a tough bug. You are at least as tough as you look even if you are dumb as hell. You did not really think your claws could hurt a ghost like myself did you?" As she looked at the bug she was not a huge fan of having to look at it. She was immune to it's counter attack but she still had to look at the thing. Marchbaby was enjoying the show as he saw the battle as a way for Atropos to learn respect and maybe become less evil.

As Marchbaby looked in his backpack to check how many Pokeball variants and amounts he had Atropos continued her speech from earlier. " You see bug only the claws of demons can bring harm to myself and I sense that there is not even a drip of evil blood in you which is wonderful for myself but for you it is the worst news you could have ever received. I am only keeping you alive as master ordered me too but I do plan on torturing you mind and soul as much as I can while leaving you alive by a thread. I do hope you like terror as that is what shall fill your life from this day forward." As she finished speaking Atropos floatted around the beetle wondering how she could bring a greater level of harm to the bug while leaving it alive so Marchbaby could capture it.

Atropos did not really have many options at her disposal however she did not have to fear any of Heracross'es attacks but she still regretted not having a stronger move to use on the bug. Shadow Sneak was really the only option she could go with. As Marchbaby finished counting his Pokeball's he hoped it would be enough when the time came to try for a capture as Heracross looked to be a hard to catch Pokemon. When he looked up to check on Atropos she seemed ready for another strike and even if Marchbaby was not expecting a large amount of damage he still had to watch. " Keep up the good work Atropos use Shadow Sneak again." Hearing Marchbaby's order Atropos sighed before acknowledging the order. " Fine but don't expect much."

Ooc: That is true. I really hope when the time comes I capture this thing.

Realizing that this bug had quite a sturdy defense withstanding even her best physical attack, and that her option to attack the Heracross was to whittle the high endurance Heracross, Atropos grumbled and continued on with another Shadow Sneak. Using the moonlight to cast her shadow onto the bug, the ghost type extended her reach toward the bug and hit it, even though Atropos hadn't move from her floating position. The bug took the hit, but showed no sign of fatigue yet.

Angry that the previous attack didn't work, Heracross thought that maybe Atropos was hiding behind something, like a screen. Flying up close, the giant blue beetle charged forward and punched at the ghost type, as if hoping to destroy a Light Screen or Reflect. Instead, the fighting move once again went through the ghost type. The bug's arm phased through the supernatural entity of the Shuppet. If only the bug type knew a special category move, like maybe a Silver Wind, it would have hit the floating cloth right in the face.

As the Heracross barely seemed to notice Atropos land another successful attack Marchbaby was in total astonishment that a bug type Pokemon could have this much endurance. Sure Bugsy's Scyther was pretty tough but Heracross did not even seem to care. Marchbaby was sure that the attacks were doing something but he really wished for a visual sign of some kind to at least show the attacks were starting to take their toll on the beetle. He was very glad to have Atropos on his team however since without her with how tough Heracross appeared it would have been a very hard battle to overcome. With her type however it appeared that the beetle was unable to use any attacks that could hit a ghost which was great news for him since most of his team was weak to fighting type moves and Heracross was one of the strongest fighting types Marchbaby had ever encountered.

As Marchbaby was busy thanking Arceus about his luck of running into such a strong Pokemon that was unable to harm Atropos the evil ghost wanted to speak some more. " Hehehe so I see the first round was not a fluke you truly are tough. That is great I love prolonged suffering and the more harm I can do to you the happier I will be. It may be a while before I reach my peak power but you will be a fantastic punching bag for me to build up my powers until I am ready to open the very floodgates of hell. I will even make sure you get a front row seat to the carnage and chaos that shall run rampant over the land once I am at full power." As Atropos spoke of her evil plans Marchbaby had not been paying any attention to what she had said. All he wanted to worry about at the moment was weakening the Heracross enough to capture it to help on the road ahead.

With no end to the battle in sight however another round was about to get underway and Marchbaby was not about to try anything else that might jeopardize his chance at obtaining such a rare and powerful Pokemon. As Atropos floated in place just waiting for her order to strike Marchbaby spoke. " Well it looks like this is going to take even longer than I had hoped but Heracross is certainly worth the effort. Atropos use Shadow Sneak again but remember do not kill the poor thing I want it alive." As she could tell Marchbaby had not heard a word she said she just smiled before replying to him. " Fine whatever you say."

With Marchbaby's order to Atropos to spare just minimal life of the Heracross for capture, the floating ghost begrudgingly used her lesser attack of a Shadow Sneak toward the flying bug. The Heracross felt being attacked by a rather supernatural force, even though it was just the Shuppet using the extension of her shadow to attack physically. The Heracross felt like it was hit by the Shuppet's pointy head and cried in pain for a second.

The Heracross flew forward, with its horn readied to attack the Shuppet, but once again it's met with the ghost type immune to the move. The Heracross was getting frustrated, wondering if it would ever get to attack this ghost type Pokeon. This annoyance of a cloth.

As Atropos scored yet another direct hit with her shadow sneak Heracross seemed to be able to tank the hit like it was nothing. Even after three direct hits in a row the bug type had hardly seemed to notice the attacks and with the way this battle was going even three more hits was not likely to cause Heracross much distress. Atropos was far from the unstoppable force she believed herself to be but even then Marchbaby was still in awe over how much of a beating this beetle could take. He was not going to let the slow pace of the battle ruin his spirit however and he kept a positive mind about it. After all he was glad to run into something that his team did not fully outclass for once.

As Marchbaby kept a close eye out for Atropos the white Shuppet was growing more and more pleased by her successful attacks. Unlike Marchbaby she could sense the attacks were starting to take their toll on the bug and since she loved to cause suffering this battle was a dream for her with how much torment a Heracross of this level could take. Being the evil hearted Pokemon she was a battle like this was usually not something that happened very often as usually the victim could not handle going through a living hell like Atropos was able to bring about which made this Heracross all the more welcome in her book.

" Yes I can feel it, you are slowly getting tired but you can still last quite a while longer. Good I love it when I can be heartless as long as this in a battle without my victims succumbing to my power. My master may want you alive but I plan on making you suffer for as long as I can before he finally forces me to stand down and so far you have been quite the opponent I have been hoping for." As Atropos looked back at Marchbaby the evil glare in her eyes made it clear that she was going to do everything she could to torture the poor Heracross without killing it.

Marchbaby was enjoying the battle too much to realize just how cruel Atropos planned on being as the only thing he cared about was capturing the beetle. He knew just how useful Heracross would be and he was truly hoping by the end of this battle that he would capture it. As it still looked too strong however Marchbaby decided to try another attack first in hopes of Heracross showing a sign of weakness soon. " Atropos use Shadow Sneak again on Heracross again." He said as Atropos closed her eyes so she could concentrate on making her foe suffer even more.

Atropos was basically getting used to this, because so far none of the moves that the Heracross was using hit, and she stopped caring now because she knew that the bug type was powerless fighting with her. She cackled maniacally and launched another Shadow Sneak attack. Under this moonlit night, her attack was quite disturbing to look. She smiled almost at the same time as the Heracross winced in pain from the attack.

Moments later, when the Shuppet finished attacking, the Heracross was on its move to attack again. However, the Shuppet was honestly not paying attention. The Heracross could have used Take Down or Counter, but the ghost type figured that all the Heracross's moves would fail either way. She shot a glare at the bug type for even trying to attack, or even for existing.

The battle with this mighty Heracross was serving as a fantastic benchmark for Marchbaby as it showed him just how unprepared his team was to take on fighting types and thanks to pure luck alone he had gotten lucky this battle. He was taking this lesson to heart since if he had not gotten lucky this battle would have been an embarrassment for him and his team. Capturing this Heracross would not truly solve the problem but it would help both it and his teams lack of super effective moves against normal types. The Heracross still had not shown much weakness after multiple hits however and Marchbaby knew a few more attacks would be needed before he could finally give his net balls a try.

As he still thought about his odds of capturing Heracross Atropos was having a field day as she fed off the suffering she was causing the bug. She could still sense the bugs energy dropping like before but this time Heracross made a small noise from the impact as if the attacks were finally wearing it down even without a physical sign of damage on the beetle's body. Atropos was still very much enjoying the battle and the small wince Heracross released just adding to her enjoyment. The evil spirit continued to mock Heracross as she floated around the bug. " You poor bug you have lasted an awful long time against me but this brave stand is for naught. Very soon you shall meet your fate of being this morons slave at least until I am able to overpower him and then you shall be my slave." As Atropos let part of her evil plan slip she quickly grew quiet upon realizing her blunder before she tried to change the subject.

" What was I talking about? Oh yes that is right you slowly growing weaker by the second how could I forget so quickly? Just wait until this battle ends and you shall know true fear." Like usual Marchbaby had not listened to a word Atropos had said at all but by her evil grin he was not about to ask. He was willing to overlook whatever had been said until he could get his hands on a dragon type to put Atropos in her place using the very type he specialized in. " I know as usual you are up to no good Atropos but I do not want to make this Heracross wait while I punish you for acting up for the time being so please just use Shadow Sneak on Heracross." Atropos was furious about the threat of being punished but her love of causing suffering overtook her anger for the time being. " Fine you obnoxious prick but I warn you I will be the boss soon enough." She said as her shadow began to race towards Heracross.

Atropos at this point planned to use Shadow Sneak anyways, whether or not Marchbaby ordered the move. The tormenting ghost once again extended her shadow, but this time at full power, a full power charged by evil and darkness. The floating entity grinned as she executed the move, her body glowing red, and her shadow seemed to extended supernaturally. The glow coming from her body was quite more passionate and fueled than the previous ones. Perhaps, all these Shadow Sneak using had led her energy and evil to grow powerfully.

The opponent Pokemon panted, gasping for breaths as its stamina was running low. However, it still had enough to attempt another failed move. The consistent bug type charged forward, aiming the ghost with its horn, and once again felt the move failed as the horn went through the ghost's body. Will there be an end to the Shuppet's madness?

As Marchbaby looked on something did not seem right with Atropos. As she began her attack the amount of energy surrounding her reached amazing levels. It was if she wanted to finally show Heracross her true power and with her feelings towards the bug there was no way Marchbaby could call her off in time. As her supercharged shadow collided with Heracross the bug was quite disturbed by the attack and it's heavy breathing caused Marchbaby to believe the end of the battle was closer than he had initially realized. After the number of hits Atropos had scored on Heracross Marchbaby was not sure how much more it could take given the bug's current appearance but at the same time as he did not have as many specialty Pokeballs as he would have hoped for he had to make a tough decision within a rather short period of time.

As he pondered over his difficult choice Atropos was all ready to attack again since she hated Heracross with a burning passion. To her knocking Heracross out would prove a huge moral victory. " Come on already and just let me take this damn bug down already. The prick could not even touch me just how useful can it really be?" She asked hoping to get Marchbaby to allow her to finish the bug off but Marchbaby did not fall for her plans and stuck to his original plan. " You see Atropos that is the problem you only look at this Heracross as it is now but with the proper training it can be a very powerful Pokemon not to mention it could also be useful once the Police are ready to test me so we are going to capture this Heracross whether you like it or not."

As he finished explaining the reason for wanting to capture Heracross so badly he had solidified his choice to capture the bug now he just had to pick which Pokeball to try first his Net Ball had the best chance of a successful capture while his Great Balls were a bit higher in number. Both choices were far from ideal however with his luck usually being on the bad side he had to try the option with the best odds first and hope luck would be on his side for once. As he took a deep breath he grabbed a Net Ball from his backpack and flung it towards Heracross. " Go Net Ball capture that Heracross." He said as the ball flew towards Heracross.

Seeing the potential in this gigantic beetle, Marchbabt refused to give in and let Atropos defeat the Heracross by her own attacks. There was no way that he would let that happen. Betting his hope and luck on this Net Ball, the trainer tossed the capture device toward the blue bug.

The Net Ball rocked to the left, was the bug escaping?

The Net Ball rolled to the right, was the Heracross angry?

DING!

The Heracross was successfully captured! With the disrespectful bug captured, now the homeowners can walk in and out of their house in peace, as the other Pokemon in their yard were more respectful.

Honeysuckle is a very Adamant Heracross that has to have things go her way. She has a very short temper and is known to lash out at those who oppose her. Ever since she failed to put a scratch on Atropos the two have been rivals and until Honeysuckle defeats Atropos she will never be pleased with herself.

As Heracross disappeared into the Net Ball Marchbaby held his breath while Atropos got ready to evade another attack as they were both sure it was going to break out with how strong it was. However instead of a broken net ball there was a sudden click as the ball stopped moving. As Marchbaby and his Pokemon looked on in astonishment Heracross had been captured on the first try. Atropos was still mad about not being allowed to kill the bug but she felt a bit stronger as the battle came to a close. She smiled as her evil powers grew a little bit after overcoming such a powerful foe. " Hehehe so that damn bug has already given into my power has it? Such a waste of my time and energy." She said as she began to float around Marchbaby. As she waited for a response he began to laugh.

As he finally pulled himself together he responded to her. " You never will learn will you Atropos? As I said before given enough time Heracross will be a force that even you shall fear. True Heracross is not as powerful as the mighty dragons but it is still far more powerful than you think. When the time comes do not say I did not warn you." As he finished talking he had remembered that he had come here for a reason and now that he had taken care of the problem it was time to pay a visit to the owners of the estate so he could spread the good news and what better way to do that was there but to bring the culprit to the doorsteps of the estate. As he picked up the Net Ball and opened it Heracross flew over to a combee nest and tried to steal some honey. Marchbaby had to yell over to the bug to get it's attention. " This is not the right time for this Heracross. You need to apologize to the owners of this estate for the trouble you caused but this does give me an idea for a nickname. How does Honeysuckle sound?"

Heracross seemed to take a liking to it's new nickname as it flew back over towards Marchbaby. It was then that he got a better look at it's horn that he discovered Heracross was female. After making that discovery he felt he had given her a good nickname. With that out of the way Marchbaby and his group of Pokemon headed for the front door of the estate hoping the owners would be home.
