SpindaName: Pompette Gender: female Level: 7 Moves: Tackle, Copycat Ability: tangled feet Nature/Personality: Sassy, Pompette can be easily described as an obnoxious club girl. She loves to go out and have fun yet if someone tries to stop her well...then she can have an drunken hissy fit very easily. In her own dizzy and easily drunken state she listens to battle instructions even if her tipsy attitude illustrates otherwise. OOC- I do not want Bun-Bun to learn frustration ~after the catch~ Penoa remained silent as his eyes gazed upon the pokeball watching it wiggle a few times. Once the ball echoed its final ding an wide smug smirk crossed upon his lips as he gently brushed his light pink locks out of his face. He confidently walked over to the ball to pick it up. He took a few moments to gaze upon his fresh capture before putting the ball with the others inside his secrete pocket in his prized top hat. He continued upon his way heading towards Violet city to continue upon his pokemon journey.

This was becoming quite the long day along route 29 for Penoa, and certainly an eventful one. A few rough characters had been trounced and a couple new additions were made to his team. The fantastic magician was going to have quite the team in no time flat! And, it seemed, this wild space between New Bark and Cherrygrove still had more to offer the young magician as a flutter of wing erupted from above. The angry caws of a fierce spearow screeched overhead as a flurry of brown and grey feathers floated down on the trainer. Two birds had locked talons, but the grey one had a look of utter confusion as it was wheeled around by the larger and angrier avian. In the next moment the spearow and thrown the little grey ball of feathers down toward the ground, hovering in spot as it watched its foe flail to the ground. Now with all the commotion at a stand still it was easy to get a good look at the downed bird: it was a Pidove. The pidgeon righted itself immediately, cocking its head to the side with big bright eyes. The usual heart shape on its chest was distorted in distress as it desperately tried to remember what it had done to warrant such an attack from its bird friend. For now, the Pidove looked up at the near trainer in puzzlement. With a loud chirp it hopped a few steps closer and fanned its wings in challenge. Perhaps it was this trainer that did something?! Spearow fumed overhead, watching the scene and considering. Pidove (LV 2) challenges the Great Penoa to a battle! What will he do?

Walking onward with an gloat in his step and smirk upon his lips the young magician ventured onward. His mind could start to see the dazzling light of fame so close to his reach as he knew his team was growing with each battle. Indeed, he was getting closer to having his own identity instead of being mistaking as one of his 6 twin brothers.
Although the flurry of wings halted his steps as the cold sweat of fear began to roll down his neck. The annoying flapping reminded him of that vile pidgey that would not feint. Instead it was worst as the volume of the flapping noise only meant there was two pidgeys. Shaking in an sudden fear the young magician forced his eyes to remain close to avoid seeing the hideous visage of the assumed wild pidgeys. However, the chirp revealed the true identity of the pokemon which gave the pink haired youth the courage to re-open his eyes to gaze upon the challenger.
Seeing that it was not an pidgey, he let out an long relieved sigh as his prideful smirk returned back to his lips. Wondering what pokemon to use to battle the creature he pulled out his pokedex. He continued to formulate his selection as the devise informed the magician of the available data of the bird pokemon. Elegantly Penoa extended his arm as he tilted his head slightly to allow the white top hat to gently roll down his arm to his awaiting hand. "o amusing an feeble bird dares to challenge the Grrreat and Powerful Penoa" he taunted in his usual calm yet prideful tone. Quickly and elegantly his free right hand slipped into his top hat before his thumb flipped the cover of his hidden pokeball storage in his beloved top hat.
"come forth Feineant" the young magician called forth as he tossed the ball from the hat. Performing a few rotations in the air the pokeball burst open to unleash the pink dopey slowpoke. "lets begin with an curse" Penoa instructed without wasting anymore time. Focusing on its own inner workings the slowpoke attempted to reduce its own speed to increase its defense and attack.

Given the rough treatment Spearow had given it Pidove was not quite ready to face the situation at hand. It was a really friendly bird that tried to avoid violence but as it was not looking forward to being captured it would need to come up with a plan as it figured if it lost this battle Penoa would try and capture it. As it looked on in a completely dumbfounded state Penoa had chosen a Pokemon that could best be described as clueless. As Feineant appeared before Pidove the bird was unable to think of a plan as the emotionless look on his face was too much for the bird to bare. This hesitation allowed Feineant to make the first move despite having equal speed with the bird. Feineant began to glow in a dark purple aura as its curse attack began to take effect. The mysterious move made him even slower but it increased his physical strength and endurance at the same time. Pidove had no choice but to get on the offensive now as it began flapping its wings creating a gust sending debris everywhere. Some of the sand that was kicked up landed in Feineant's eyes causing some damage though nowhere near enough to knock it out. After recovering from the attack Feineant stood in position still with a clueless expression on its face, he was in pretty good shape considering how much effort Pidove had put into its attack. For now Pidove had to hope its only attack would be strong enough to overcome Feineant's higher level. If gust was not enough there could be trouble down the line. For now Pidove had to stay focused and avoid making a big mistake. Pokemon Battle

As Feineant illustrated his instructed move his dopey eyes continued to gaze upward towards the blue sky. "what is it to exist" his mind thought as his face remained unchanged not even moving an inch or showing any sign of intelligence. "do i even exist are we all an paragraph in an child's story" the pink creature continued to mentally ask these two question as the gust attack landed. Despite taking the damage the slowpoke continued to simply stand there with its face unchanged. "fallow up with an tackle" Penoa instructed his pokemon which the slowpoke responded by doing absolutely nothing. Blinking a couple times in slight irritation the young magician gently blew a few light pink strains of hair from his face. "Feineant its your time to shine do not make the Grrreat and Powerful Penoa look foolish" the pink haired youth sternly mentioned while putting his hands upon his hips as his light blue eyes glared upon the dopey pokemon.
As if he realized that he was in an pokemon battle Feineant blinked a few times. "poooooke" the create spoke before slowly beginning to approach the opposing pokemon. Letting out an slightly annoyed sigh, the young magician watched his pokemon slowly get closer to the opposing creature. When the dopey pokemon got close enough it slightly took an step before stumbling side ways attempting to bash its body into the little bird.

Fueled by the eccentric trainer, Feineant began to move forward in an attempt to side tackle the wild Pidove. The bird however, given the effects of the curse, seemed a bit faster than the pink dope and had managed to move out the way of the stumble. Thankfully that hadn't been the actual attack, or it would've counted as a miss! Pidove flapped its wings to get away for a few seconds, whipping up a tiny gust in the process. Feineant was buffeted by the tiny winds, taking a bit of damage. Compared to the first attack however, it was chump change. Feineant's body was bolstered from the effects of the curse. While he was slower, he was more powerful and harder to take down. It was time to use that power against this wild Pidove. Feineant had to wait for Pidove to come down, and tried to guess where the bird would land to try and strike there. This took a considerable amount of effort though, causing the Slowpoke to get a headache. Feineant groaned slightly, flopping to the ground with his tail sprawled out behind him. Pidove took this as a false sense of security and landed a few paces off, preening itself. Feineant's eyes gleamed mischievously as he stood up, walking forward and slamming his body into the unsuspecting bird. With an unceremonious sqwak, Pidove stumbled backwards and ruffled it's feathers defensively. The dopey brute had gotten the better of Pidove? It's beak opened in disbelief. It had been tricked! Feineant yawned to himself and returned to what seemingly was the same dumb Slowpoke from earlier. Had it been a trick, or had Feineant just gotten lucky? Penoa patiently watched as the pokemon traded blows with each other. His light blue eyes gazed upon the wild creature looking for signs of weakness. Once the creature appeared to be startled from the clumsy attack before showing signs of receiving an decent amount of damage he pondered if it was the correct moment to capture. "lets see if that did it" the young magician happily stated as he activated an unused pokeball from his fancy top hat. Without saying another word the pink haired youth threw the pokeball onward attempting to land an strike upon the bird pokemon. If this was successful the ball would open to bath the wild pokemon in an brilliant light before returning the light engulfed pokemon into the capturing devise. Patiently the young coordinator awaited to see the result of his attempted capture.

The magician looked for any signs of weakness, and Pidove certainly had a couple to show. After being flustered by the pink oaf, Pidove seemed to take on a persona similar to Penoa itself, angry that it had been duped. Pidove let out an angry cry and began to flap it's wings, noise at it's ears much too windy and gusty to hear Penoa rifling through a bag to get a Pokeball. It was preparing another attack, unaware that Penoa was preparing something himself. By the time the Pidove saw the ball, it was much too late. With a flash of brilliant light, Pidove was engulfed in the capsule and did it's best to shake it's way out. Feathers ruffled and beak poised, Pidove slammed. The ball shook. The first shake hadn't dislodged itself quite yet, so it decided to give another go at the wall of the capsule. The digitized Pokemon inside gave it another heave. This time, the force was enough to have the bird cry out in pain. That hurt! The book shook again. But it remained closed. Pidove began to panic, blood running cold as it realized it didn't have much time left before it was stuck in here forever. Whatever it could muster had to be done right now, otherwise... it wasn't going to be able to escape. It'd be a slave to this human (albeit, a very flashy human) and that pink oaf forever. The thought was almost too much to bear. Giving the last of it's efforts, Pidove slammed into the side once more... *TING* Congratulations! You've captured the wild Pidove. He did what was required to get the ball sent to his PC before taking out his slowpoke's own pokeball. "time to rest" Penoa mentioned happily as he pressed the button upon the round devise to send his pokemon back into it's ball. Afterwards the young magician continued to travel onward through the route entering Cherrygrove City up ahead. ~exit route into Cherrygrove City~
