Union Cave- - - - - - - - - - - - Unlike the unwillingly drawn Nosepass, the next thing coming towards Marchbaby and his two partners was something he would doubtlessly recognize. It, too, was drawn by the sound of the dripping water, but more out of annoyance than actual curiosity. Water was something it quite disliked, knowing how much damage it could cause to itself and other cave dwellers. Tromping angrily towards the sound, the Pokémon was on a mission to stem the flow of water to ensure safe, happy Union Cave living for all. How it would stop the water was anyone's guess, especially after its identity was revealed as it stepped out of the gloomy tunnel.
Coming to an abrupt halt as it spotted another of its kind, the wild Aron blinked in surprise. The Aron stole a covetous look at Bonecrusher, envious of his unusual colouration compared to its own bland appearance. There would be no getting lost in the crowd for the other Aron, that was for sure. Gaze briefly passing over March and Blubber, Aron knew full well what a human with Pokémon meant, but their milling about around the steady trickle of water it had come to stop perplexed it. What was their intent?
If they were looking for a battle, the sturdy little Steel-type would be happy to deliver. It would be equally as happy if the shiny Aron chose to battle it, giving the wild one something to brag about should it emerge successful. But if the human decided to ignore it, that was fine and dandy as well - not even a bit of jealousy would prevent it from stopping the dripping water. Aron's watchful eyes rested on March, leaving the next move in his hands.
Attention!
A jealous wild Aron (Level 15) appeared! Will you fight or flee?

Marchbaby was rather intrigued to encounter an Aron as it was the third one he had encountered on his journey. It was not shiny like Bonecrusher however just like Spartan that he had given to his brother Tyler this Aron did still look pretty tough and since it was part steel type which was his next favorite type to only dragons he would never say no to fighting one whenever he had a chance. However as he knew how strong they were with their physical attacks he knew that at full health Blubber would get beaten very easily by it and so as much as he hated having to assist his dragon in this battle being a dragon apprentice sometimes calls for sacrifices and if his Pokedex was correct winning this battle would allow her to learn Dragonbreath so the sacrifice was certainly worth it so long as she won the battle.
" As much as I would love to use you again already Blubber I think this Aron is a bit too strong for you at the moment. If you were a Bagon I would let you try but Bonecrusher had taught me just how tough these guys can be so for now stand ready to fight but hang back until I say to swap in so you will have a decent chance of winning. As for the Pokemon I will be using to weaken Aron enough for you to beat Aron I will be using Atropos since her Curse attack should work very nicely in this situation." As he grabbed the evil spirits Pokeball and threw it to the ground revealing the ghastly white spirit. As she looked at the Pokemon she would be fighting she sighed as she had seen enough Aron for one afterlife with Bonecrusher and the last thing she needed was to fight one.
" Another one of these bastards. They are almost as bad as Zubat. Is breeding the only thing that Aron can do besides ram things with their head or am I just missing something here?" Thinking that she could continue to get on Marchbaby's nerves she was not expecting his response at all. " Keep this up Atropos and my brother is going to get a birthday present in the form of you. You are at least as evil as he is and I am sure he would love to own you. Being on Team Rocket and everything has led him astray from our clan and about now I am fed up with the way you act. Now use Curse on this Aron and behave yourself." As she was not sure how serious he was nor did she want to find out Atropos for once behaved herself as her eyes began to glow blood red as her Curse attack drained some of her own energy.
Ooc: Marchbaby sends out Atropos who uses Curse.

Ooc: Hopefully you don't mind all that much but I'm unsure of where the back sprite could be of the shuppet that you have right now so I'll use a normal back sprite of a shuppet. The battle began as the mysterious and evil ghost type pokemon was sent out onto the field. The ghost pokemon was known as a shuppet, and this seemed to startle the aron before since the metal pokemon hadn't seen a ghost pokemon. And it had to admit, they were pretty scary from the looks of things. What if it tried to attack and its moves went right through the pokemon? No it couldn't start doubting itself, it had to at least try to win this one. Atropos was the first one to move here as the ghost pokemon started to use the move curse.A large metallic nail went through the ghost pokemon to cut its health in half. However, little did the aron know by the end of this there was a curse inflicted on the pokemon. When the aron's turn arrived, the pokemon raced forward with sharp metal claws. The aron struck the shuppet with a Metal Claw attack and managed to strike the ghost like body of the SHuppet. The Shuppet winced from pain but didn't back off despite having low health. Though the battle had just begun each side suffered from serious hp loss which meant something pretty dangerous was about to happen. Once the aron's turn went away, and the next round was about to begin a sudden bad feeling shrouded the aron as it realized that something was about to happen. Another nail appeared, and it seemed to drill itself down into the rock hard steel pokemon. The aron cried out in pain but it seemed that its cries went unanswered. Though, the nail went almost all the way down into the pokemon as its health was heavily lost. As if it weren't terrified enough, that it had to face a ghost pokemon but it was also heavily loosing its health in this battle. Would it even have a chance to win? It could only wonder at this point. Wild Pokemon Battle

After the Curse took effect on the Aron Atropos began to feel woozy from the recoil the attack produced. As much as the evil specter loved to curse things at will the attack took a huge amount of energy to perform. Getting nailed by a Metal Claw while still tried from the attack had only added to the exhaustion she was feeling however she was a pretty tough spirit and she managed to stay standing at the end of the first round. She was a bit shaken that despite the pain Aron was in to see it still standing in rather good health even as the cursed nail went into the steel types body. She was beginning to see why Marchbaby had such a fondness for Aron and it's iron will as she tried to stay awake for the next round.
" That Curse took a lot out of me and I can feel it has done the same to you as well. You do have an iron will and I do like to see that however even the strongest will can be broken with enough pressure and by the looks of it you look like you are in fear of another nail entering your body causing untold levels of damage to your body so I will make you a deal. When you cannot take the pain anymore and you admit defeat I will allow you to become my slave in exchange for your life. How does that sound?" As she waited for a response even Marchbaby was stunned by how effect the Curse had been at weakening the Aron. He did not think such a mighty looking Aron would take such a beating from the move as he had never used it on such a strong Pokemon before but the move did allow him to see the extent of Atropos's power.
" That was unbelievable. Aron usually are very tough Pokemon that can take a beating but Curse bypassed it's armor like it was made of tissue paper. That poor thing must be in a ton of pain after that attack. Atropos I guess you were not kidding about your powers after all." Atropos just smiled as she watched the Aron just waiting on it's mind to break so she could finally have her slave. She may have to be nice for a bit to avoid Mania's fate however that was a small price to pay to get such a tough little slave that would be obedient to her and her alone. " Silly child you have not seen the half of it. Once we reach Ecruteak you shall see my true powers unleashed."
Taking her threat very seriously Marchbaby just wanted to end the battle quickly but he knew the Aron was still too tough for Blubber and he had no choice but to allow Atropos to stay and fight another round.[color-blue] " Atropos try Will O Wisp this time around and we will see how things look afterwards." He said hoping that the ghost type would not kill the poor Aron.
Ooc: That is no problem at all. There should be a back sprite on the Custom Sprites thread in the library but I am not picky. For the next mod Atropos should have no more than 23 hp however as Curse would bring her down to 33 HP and Metal Claw would do 10-13 damage so she currently has too much hp. As for attacks this time Atropos uses Will O Wisp.

The Aron certain held an iron will, it's own deep blue eyes staring directly at the ethereal spirit as she spoke out in human tongue. Already finding this opponent to strong, in the sense that she had hurt it without visibly or physically attacking, her offer was certainly something that would've saved the Pokemon a great deal from any further pain. However. Aron were made of steel and even if the anticipation of any attacks helped strengthen the curse, it wasn't willing to become a tool for this spirit. Lowering it's head, the steel type growled in a deep and threatening pitch, signifying that it's response was a clear no. Fierce, courageous and not the species to give up easily, the Aron was prepared to go down fighting. Her curse already plaguing the mind of the Aron, this time Atropos had a different type of affliction to lay upon the wild Aron.
Her startling white body beginning to become bordered with an eerie purple glow, she concentrated all of her energy to send a scatter of purple embers to scorch the body of her enemy. Feeling the heat burn it's iron body, the Aron let out a wail of a cry, feeling the very flames sink underneath it's hard casing and scorch it's delicate skin. A roar erupting from the Pokemon's small mouth, it couldn't help but feel incredibly woozy after the blast of heat. Body shaking subtly on the spot, it was certainly wishing it hadn't bothered to approach this trainer now. Still boasting some determination, the Aron fought the burning sensation and charged across the rocky path. Jumping up into the air at the Shuppet's floating height, the Aron lifting a lone paw and span it in a slashing motion, it's rock hard limb giving Atropos a feeling of immense pressure weighing down on her body.
Going invisible momentarily to float backwards, her eyes narrowed slyly as all her moves took effect. Fearing the curse, a similar situation of a levitating, ghostly apparition appeared, yet the pain it dealt was absolutely real. Feeling a thick, sharp object push through it's defensive coating, the Aron winced it's eyes and took a tumble to the ground. Trying it's very best to push itself back up onto it's feet, if that wasn't enough, Atropos controlled her purple flames to burn brightly once more, Aron feeling the heat. Gasping for breath, the Pokemon was certainly strong in the defensive department but it was also technically being tortured by dealing with this pain.

The terror of watching the last round was almost too much for Marchbaby to bare as he watched Aron hardly be able to stand. Atropos had never used Will O Wisp before and it was an attack he was not likely to combine with Curse again after hearing Aron's screams of terror. The cruel spirit had proved she was stronger than he had believed but he still struggled to come to grips at such a horrifying display. Atropos on the other hand saw it as a fitting punishment for Aron after not accepting what she believed was merciful from her standpoint. The Shuppet had no remorse for the dinosaur however she still admired the things bravery.
" You had one hell of a pair rejecting that offer sweetheart but no brains to speak of. After this next round when I forcibly take possession of your soul you will regret your decision for the rest of eternity. As you succumb to your injuries you will finally see the stupidity of your choice and by then it will be too late. I do not have an ounce of regret for what I am about to do and if I were you I would start praying to Arceus for it to end you first. Now you ungrateful little whelp it is time to end this." Before Atropos could finish Aron off Shellshocker and Bonecrusher stood in front of her knowing Aron had been through enough and they would do anything to save it's life.
Marchbaby was at ropes end with Atropos's heartless style as well and forced her to return. As he was about to send in Blubber he realized this would be a fantastic time to train Cannon Fodder due to Aron being severely weakened and the Pineco really needed to battle more so it could evolve into a Forretress adding to Marchbaby's steel type collection. He did not think Aron would last much longer and Cannon Fodder had the Sturdy ability which would protect against Aron on the first turn unless the Aron had any surprises. With the pinecone Pokemon ready for the next round all he had to do was wait. " Cannon Fodder hold your position this round and see what happens."
Ooc: Cannon Fodder replaces Atropos. No move called as Aron will likely faint right after the switch.

The pain surrounded the aron, sure it was awful, and it froze it's body long enough to hear the words of the shuppet, to be taken down without mercy was painful enough, but to have the ghost pokemon tell it was his time to go, the pokemon had enough of the idea. Biting itself, it could feel the taste of the sweet iron on its lips as it lowered it's head. Not only was the aron going wthout a fight, but it was going to take this spirit with him.
As the aron charged, it could hear a familiar clicking noise, and then a flash of light. This slowed it in it's tracks. It slid to a stop, the dirt beneath it's toes forming upwards, cooling its feet even a tiny bit before the new form came before him. It was a Pineco. A rather happy one at that. The pokemon seemed thrilled to be chosen for battle and willing to take the hit.
The aron shook it's head, happy to be free from the haunting image of the shuppet, but that pokemon was the one he wanted to take down. In a sense he cursed the trainer for not letting him take out the ghost, despite there not being a difference weather the ghost took the hit or not. The aron had continued it's attack, ramming it's cold steel head into the body of the cone.
The cone would have been expected to fly upwards, but it's heavy body only seemed to make it rock a bit, it's eyes calmly looking down at the aron's if it could smile he would, but Cannon fodder was there to be a shield for Marchbaby, to protect the team. It's emotion changed however when it saw the pain the aron was going through.
The sorrow left it's eyes quickly though, as it fainted to the ground and it's vision got blurry. The pain that drove through the pokemon's body was to much for it to go on. It layed there quietly, allowing it's soar body to slowly lose the pain as it went unconscious. Eyes closed it seemed that the aron wasn't going to fight anymore.

With Aron unable to keep going any more Marchbaby was still very upset with Atropos for over doing it but he was proud of Cannon Fodder for hanging in there after Aron tried a final desperate attack. The pinecone was surprisingly tough and Cannon Fodder's determination to stay in the fight was very useful indeed with the amount of experience he had received. As fantastic as the victory was he still needed to get a move on if he wanted to get the Pokemon he was still after. Just as he was about to head off in search of another part of the cave Bonecrusher placed his lucky egg on Cannon Fodder's head to see if it would bring the bug type any luck.
The happy moment was interrupted by none other than Atropos who did not say a word. She was so angry that Marchbaby did not let her kill Aron that she was speechless. Without having Kamikaze on him Marchbaby did not have much to control his evil specter however she did not do anything else besides float around a small area pouting over still not having a slave. Instead of even trying to confront her he refocused his attention on Bonecrusher, Cannon Fodder, and Shellshocker as the group started to play with each other. Even Blubber joined in after a moment. The sounds of Bonecrusher's steel rubbing against Shellshocker's back made a terrible noise that would likely draw attention to the group and it was only after hearing the noise that Atropos began to speak.
" You fools keep wasting your time for you will all pay for this someday. Be very happy in the fact that Curse has drained me so much at the moment for once I am fully charged you will rule the day you messed with my plans." After her short speech Atropos returned to her Pokeball without so much as a wink. Just glad that she did not harm any of his other Pokemon Marchbaby sighed in relief that was until Blubber looked at Marchbaby with a rather curious stare one which unnerved him. His experience with Dragon types was enough to know that there was something heading his way. " Bonecrusher I need you ready just in case. When a dragon has this kind of look in it's eyes it is usually bad news. I hope this is a false alarm but you never know until it is too late."
Ooc: I may be wrong but I believe due to the switch Atropos was only supposed to get 375exp while Cannon Fodder was supposed to get 3 levels. Also I moved Bonecrusher's lucky egg to Cannon Fodder.

As Marchbaby dealt with Atropos, until she finally decided to retreat back into her own Pokeball, Blubber had remained alert to what was going on around her. Caves could be misleading due to the constant echoes but she was certain that she had heard something. Anything was able to hide in the shadows around them, meaning that they had to remain extra attentive. Her eyes looking around in curiosity, a sudden thump like sound, what could've only been against rock, made her soft, gooey body wobble in surprise. Exchanging glances with the other Pokemon outside of their Pokeballs, she finally looked to Marchbaby, almost as if warning him. Blubber was a nervous little Goomy at times but at that very moment, she was certain something was on the way. Her body turning at the sound of another, faint strike against rock, whatever it was, was coming closer, to the point where Marchbaby could also hear the sounds.
His battling likely awakening other slumbering Pokemon within the cave, he had since awoken something he may have been looking for. Entire body made of rock, the Pokemon would've had perfect camouflage if it had remained stationed in one spot, within Union Cave. It's body was exactly like the very walls, only, this was as if a chunk had managed to separate itself, grew arms and was to be able to think. Using it's sturdy arms to navigate the cave floor, the creature was known as Geodude and this one wore a particularly grumpy look to it's already intimidating glare. Eyeing Marchbaby from a fair distance, the Pokemon hopped out of the shadows and pumped it's fists together rapidly, grunting once or twice as if challenging the trainer to a battle. Maybe if it put Marchbaby in his place, the cave could go back to relaxation once more.
A wild Geodude (Level 11) has appeared! Please select a Pokemon to use in battle or Flee.
OOC: Yes, I think it is correct because it counts as participation rather than the final hit? So it would be 350 exp.

Ooc: I updated Cannon Fodder's level to 17 and reduced Atropos's exp to the correct amount. Thank you Morrigan for clarifying. If things pan out I think Aphrodite will be very happy. For this battle March sends out Cannon Fodder and throws a Quick Ball trying a single turn capture. I will self deduct the Quick Ball. Edit: Quick Ball deducted.
Ic:
Seeing a familiar Pokemon with no trainer in sight to claim it's ownership filled Marchbaby with happiness. He had been hoping to encounter a wild Geodude so he could get a Carbink at the Kalo's festival which was due to end in a rather short period of time. He had plenty of Great Ball to try and capture the rocky Pokemon with but he knew enough about them to know that unless he got very lucky his best choice would be to battle it until it lost enough hp to make the capture all but assured. He did have another option as well but before he made his choice he decided to take a better look at the creature in hopes of getting a clue as to how strong it truly was.
As he glared at the rock and ground type Pokemon with the up most curiosity. He had never really had a chance to raise a Geodude as he captured Bonecrusher first and Geodude had the more common weakness to grass and water types. This did not mean he was not interested in trying to raise one but for now he did not need to try and do so for the time being however he still needed to capture it so his plans to get a Carbink would be realized. After examining Geodude for a while he felt it was of moderate strength however his Quick Ball should be able to do the job without too much trouble. All he had to do was select the Pokemon he wanted to use on the off chance the ball failed to capture Geodude so it could protect him and his other Pokemon from the rocky Pokemon's wrath.
Both Blubber and Cannon Fodder were good choices as they both really needed more training however Cannon Fodder had better physical defense and the Sturdy ability just in case giving Marchbaby a little more confidence he was the right choice. The Lucky Egg he was now holding would come in handy as well if his plan worked out. As the pinecone Pokemon bounced forward ready to make a stand he was again ready to live up to his name if he had to however Marchbaby was hoping he could capture the Geodude and save Cannon Fodder from taking a hit if at all possible. " Alright Cannon Fodder I need you to stand tall again and act as a shield for the team again. I am going to try and capture Geodude with this Quick Ball but on the off chance it fails you will need to take another hit for the team." He said as the bug stood ready to absorb a blow.

With Marchbaby's plans exceeding a simple capture, he hoped to use this Geodude to gain something else and the wild Pokemon was very unaware of the human's plans. Smashing it's two rock like fists together, the Geodude was a very proud and independent Pokemon. Not willing to roll over and be taken lightly, the Pokemon expected a fearsome battle of brute strength with an opponent worthy enough to fight it's own being. What happened to move forward, however, was a Pokemon with no limbs what so ever and it's lack of facial features made Cannon Fodder a very hard target to read. Uncertain of how to take on this unusual opponent, the Geodude took it's eyes off of Marchbaby for a few moments too long. For the second part of his true plan was already underway.
In possession of a very special type of Pokeball, when used immediately the capture rate of success would rocket to a near one hundred percent chance of capture, or even spot on. Gripping the very type of ball in his hands, Marchbaby threw it forward, extinguishing any hopes the Geodude had of battling a strong opponent. Feeling the ball bash against it's rock hard body, a bright light drew the wild Pokemon inside and clicked victoriously almost immediately.
WIGGLE. WIGGLE. WIGGLE. . . . TING!
Congratulations! Marchbaby has successfully captured the Geodude!Cannon Fodder gained 2 levels (+1 due to Lucky Egg) and grew to Level 19! +1 Happiness Geodude Name: [choose] Gender: [ Female OR Male ] Level: 11 Attacks: Tackle, Mud Sport, Rock Polish, Rollout Ability: [ Rock Head OR Sturdy ] Nature/Personality: [choose]

With Geodude secured he had now captured every Pokemon he had set out to capture in the cave and he was thinking about heading back to the Dark Cave to try and capture the one Pokemon he had not managed to capture in all the time he spent there. The Pokemon in question was not exactly something many trainers would go out of their way to get but the road ahead might just have moments where such a Pokemon might be useful however he still had to make his way out of the cave first before he would even have a chance to make his decision. He did not have much trouble finding his way through the cave the first time he went through it and he doubted this time would be any different however before he could even take a step he heard footsteps in the distance.
He had encountered a trainer or two the last time he was here so he knew other people might just be about. Not wanting to pass up a chance to battle a trainer to train his team a little more before moving on he waited to see who was headed his way and before long a crimson haired teenager appeared coming from another part of the cave and he did not look very happy at all. Blubber shook in fright as she laid eyes on the man and Bonecrusher growled. Cannon Fodder was still too stunned that he had avoided taking a hit during the battle to notice him but his mere presence caused Shellshocker to come out of his Pokeball ready for a fight. It was clear to Marchbaby that there was something about this teen that his Pokemon did not like.
He wished he had Kamikaze or Shocker or even Honeysuckle just in case about now but as he did not he would have to make do with what he had. " With how long I have been around dragon types I know when something is wrong and by the way Blubber is shivering just by laying eyes on you I get the feeling you are not a kindhearted person at all." He said as he looked right at the teenager ready to battle him if that is what it took to make sure whatever the teenager had planed would not result in anyone innocent being harmed. " I do believe a battle is coming on and if it is a battle you want it is a battle you shall receive."
Ooc: Leaving Geodude blank for Aphrodite and requesting an encounter with Silver so both March and Tyler will have had a chance to battle him.

Union Cave- - - - - - - - - - - - Drawn by the noise of Geodude's rocky fists echoing off the tunnel walls, the red-haired youth casually sauntered up with a look of pure contempt on his face, eyes skimming briefly over Marchbaby's Pokémon. He'd watched the quick capture and was curious as to why the trainer had avoided using the limbless pinecone for the battle, deducing immediately that it was because the thing was weaker than weak. And if one Pokémon was that pathetic, surely the rest of them were, giving him enough reason to make his presence known in order to issue a challenge. When Marchbaby spoke of Blubber's fearful shivering, a grin crossed the kid's face, one of complete scorn.
"You call that a Dragon? That looks more like a pile of sentient boogers, if you ask me. And if it's shivering in fear, it clearly knows how strong my Pokémon are compared to it," he replied, silver eyes gleaming. "And if you let such a weak bunch of Pokémon stay on your team, your words don't have much credence here. Honestly, battling you would just be a waste of time on my part, but why not? I don't mind giving you a thorough lesson in how a real trainer fights." Oozing confidence from every pore, he swept his crimson hair back and smirked, slipping a hand into his pocket.
Pulling out a Poké Ball, the redhead sent it flying with a quick toss, filling the cave tunnel with a brief burst of light. A Zubat came screeching out, wings flapping overtime to keep it aloft. "Oh so mighty dragon tamer," he drawled, placing emphasis on the words 'dragon tamer'. "Give it your best shot. Maybe when I'm claiming my place as champion of the Johto League, I'll remember the time I curbstomped you right here, right now. The name's Silver - don't forget it." Shoving both hands into his pockets, he waited with a smug smile to see what weakling his opponent would send out to be crushed first.
Attention!
Silver has challenged you to a battle! He sends out Zubat (Level 12)!Please choose a Pokémon to battle.

Marchbaby could not avoid thinking of his brother as Silver spoke. He could sense the same arrogance between the two and he was already disgusted by the utter lack of respect the teenager showed to his Pokemon. Not wanting to even think of how poorly the young man treated his Pokemon Marchbaby regretted not having his strongest Pokemon on him to put Silver in his place. Kamikaze would have been a perfect choice to show Silver just how wrong he was about his Pokemon however beating the cold hearted trainer with his younger Pokemon should prove an even better point. As he looked at Blubber who was still shivering in fear he could not bring himself to ask her to battle. Trying to buy time until he made his choice he finally responded to Silver.
" You are just like my brother who I despise especially after he joined Team Rocket. I do believe he is somewhere near Azalea and you might have bumped into him. I still need to deal with him once the police are ready for me to take their test but for now you will be great practice for my less experienced Pokemon to train with. Do not worry should they prove too strong for you as I assure you they are stronger than they look." He said as he had almost made up his mind. As determined as he was to win the battle he also wanted to keep on training Cannon Fodder. Not knowing what Silver's Zubat knew as far as moves he had to make a difficult decision to switch in and out like in most of the bugs other battles as it was the safest way to train him.
" Alright Cannon Fodder I want you to briefly make an appearance and then switch out with Shellshocker. I hate to have to do this to you again but you are not strong enough yet to battle on your own. I want to show our friend here that strength is not everything. After you switch out with Shellshocker things will really get fun. He has not been in a battle in a long time but he should still be a good match for this Zubat." As Cannon Fodder made his brief appearance before the switch the bug did not seem too hurt by Marchbaby's decision. The bug watched with curiosity as Shellshocker took it's place thrilled to not be the one getting hit. " This switch will give our opponent a free turn but afterwards Shellshocker use Bite on Zubat."
Ooc: Marchbaby sends out Cannon Fodder and then switches out for Shellshocker who uses Bite.

As soon as the words 'Team Rocket' left Marchbaby's mouth, Silver's smug expression morphed into that of a deep fury. "Those pathetic lamebrains? I guess being pitifully weak runs in the family if your brother had to join up with that lot to get anywhere in life," he bit out, hands clenching into fists as he tried to leash his temper. Biting down on any nasty insults to hurl out, Silver watched as March sent in the pinecone he'd seen earlier and felt his lip curl in derision. "What the hell is that thing supposed to do, roll menacingly towards my Zubat? I'll make it easy on you - if you can actually move, that is. Zubat, Leech Life!" he called out, his Pokémon shrieking before it swooped in low for the strike.
Unfortunately for Zubat, Marchbaby recalled Cannon Fodder quickly enough to have his Wartortle take the attack instead. Sinking its sharp teeth into Shellshocker's thigh, Zubat sapped some energy from the Water-type with a painful tug that had him wincing. Peeling itself free with a satisfied screech, the Zubat turned to flutter back over to Silver and gave Shellshocker ample opportunity to retaliate. Despite Marchbaby's worries, he was fast enough to catch Zubat with a massive chomp, throwing the limp bat to Silver's feet when it flopped weakly in his jaws.
Glaring first at his fainted Zubat, then at Marchbaby, Silver's face flushed a mottled red denoting a slowly growing rage. "If your Pokémon are so 'strong', why did you have to switch out to something else, huh? Psh! Something that needs that kind of training would be thrown out immediately if it was on my team," the redhead growled, searching for another ball after recalling Zubat. A toss and burst of light later revealed a floating sphere of gas bearing a pair of eyes and wicked grin in the form of a Gastly. "What will you surprise me with next, dragon tamer?"
