The peculiar glyphs continued to whir eerily, lending the chamber a supernatural feel in some ways. The whirring only grew louder as the Unown were pushed in this battle, seemingly their response to panic and concern. And that feeling would do little more than grow stronger still, with Thanh being marginally faster than everything else involved in this scuffle. The Ducklett performed a carbon copy of his last move, swooping in toward the circular Unown and thwacking it upside its cycloptic face with a powerful wing movement. The strange noise dulled significantly as this poor letter started to falter, its single eye closing slowly as it fell to the floor with a loud rattle. The loss of its comrade seemed to disturb the one remaining wild creature, who screeched loudly as it realised what had happened. The symbol was angry. As angry as it could be. It wasn't about to let these two get away with their actions. Its body lit up, orbs circling around it as it concentrated its energy. It had to make this attack count. In mere seconds, the Unown loosed its attack toward Heidrun, its draconic Hidden Power buffeting the Bug type and forcing her to take a step backward. However, the Joltik looked all too ready to continue the bout once the metaphorical dust had settled. In reply, Heidrun darted forward and latched herself onto Unown I before taking a big bite of this new meal. Much "nom" noise was made while Heidrun drained this Psychic type of its life force, totally replenishing the health lost just moments before. Unown was in a pickle, so it was. And it knew it. Its whirring grew ever so slightly higher in pitch as it contemplated exactly how it might win this encounter. Diarm didn't quite get what being fast had to do with not being able to play along with the others. He cast a longing look after Thanh. He was sure he could match that speed even running on the floor. However, he didn't get to question it, as Freyr nudged him, and Diarm looked confused at the fox, until he said to catch him. Then Diarm brightened up and started the chase with a jump, laughter chirps erupting from his belly. "I'm catch you!" he laughed. Dorthea was still doing her best to think through the slight terror of having Thanh having fly around so freely. She was focusing so hard she felt sweat trickle down her face, and she licked her lips to come with responses to Aglaia's concerns. "I thought you did investigate," she teased, trying to latch on to something ordinary. "Didn't you talk about the letters before they showed?" She kept a close watch on Heidrun, but the Joltik really proved to hold her own against the bigger opponents. Maybe she wasn't as new to the battling thing as Dorthea had thought. "Anyway, Diarm's Night Slash seemed effective, and since Heidrun's Leech Life is doing a number on them right now, I'll wager a guess they are psychic types." She analysed, without really thinking about what she was spouting. "Wait... Did I just remember something from school?" She added after a moment. Being occupied with Heidrun's well-being, and keeping herself in control, was making her too busy to actually look around for the exit. It did help a margin that Thanh finally landed and put himself beside Heidrun. That meant he wasn't making as much flapping noises, and Heidrun had help directly at her side. Dorthea dried her forehead off, and tried to remember where they had come in, but she was suddenly unsure. Heidrun felt relieved when her Leech Life replenished her from the Unown's attack. It did taste great too. Thanh landede beside her, and she could finally talk with him for real. "I just asked for you to stay still, so we could talk." she answered matter of fact. "Thank you for helping out." she added politely, and ran her jaws together in preparation for another taste of the remaining Unown. It had changed it's tune, and she gathered it might be worried about now. They had attacked her however, so she felt fully entitled keep up her defense to the last. Wordcount: 409

Freyr laughed as Diarm chased him around in the grotto, and he was quite surprised with how fast the little torchic had become. He actually had to pay attention to not make it too easy for him to be caught. When Diarm managed to catch him, he turned to face the young torchic while pawing the ground pretending to be a mighty tauros. "Now I'm coming to get ya!" Threatened he playfully and would prance after Diarm when he chose to ran away from him.
Aglaia squirmed when Dorthea teased her about preparing for coming here, and only managed to smile faintly when "Me too," she defended herself, "but I saw nothing about the unknown letters being the unown, and I had no idea if it were so, that there would be so many of them!" exclaimed Aglaia rather guilty. "The texts either told about the ruins, with a note about the unowns, and the things I could find about unowns where just that most people found them useless with only one attack and all. I never thought they would be a problem. There are also plenty of warnings about rattatas and pidgeys numbers on route 29, but it still took me days to find Paloma," continued Aglaia frustrated and rubbed her forehead. She took a deep breath and mumbled to herself: "we will make it, of course we will. It just seems a bit scary at the moment but we're doing fine." Wystan nudged Aglaia to remind her, she was not alone, and she smiled more sincere to him. "You are right before, Diarm and Heidrun are really making a difference here," said Aglaia and had wished she had some clever comment for Dorthea's mention of learning something in school. At the moment, she was blank though.
"We came from that direction," said Aglaia confident and pointed in one direction. "So I assume the exit is in the opposite," concluded she and looked at Wystan. "What do you think?" Asked she and he buzzed cheerfully. "I guess that is confirmitive, can you scour a bit ahead and see if it is right, and if there are more unowns we need to prepare for?" Asked she and Wystan gave her a firm nod, as he flapped his wings and set off.
"You're welcome, what did you want to talk about?" Asked Thanh unbothered by the ungoing battle, although he winced when the remaining Unown pitched higher. He sent it a tired look before he waddled over to it to give it a slap with his wing. "I'm tired of your screeching, be quiet or fight me instead," he told it firmly and waited for its reaction.

As the Unown tried to come up with anything that might buy it time if nothing else the harsh reality of its nearly useless move pool set in. That and its rather poor speed were really holding it back from having any hope of snatching a comeback victory but to make matters even worse than they a;ready were Thanh and Heidrun had already started to build up for their attacks as Unown was still praying to Arceus for some kind of divine intervention but as no sign from above came forward it faced the harsh reality that no help was going to come its way as it tried to prepare another Hidden Power. Unown had been too slow however as both of its foes were already heading right for it. In the blink of an eye Thanh was within striking distance. Thanh struck first with a slapping motion using his wing that caused considerable damage to the normal type Pokemon that held on by a thread only for Heidrun to jump onto it an start sapping its energy with Leech Life that proved too much for Unown to bare as the normal type Pokemon fell to the ground and closed its eye. Had it not been for a horde of Unown who appeared from a nearby wall they would have been helpless to avoid capture but thanks to their friends who carried them off they were at least able to avoid that awful fate as embarrassing and awful it was to lose to a pair of human owned Pokemon. Dorthea and Aglaia were far from alone however as the familiar chanting of the Pokemon surrounded them. If they stuck around a few of the defeated Unown's friends might try and avenge their defeat. As soon as Diarm had caught Freyr he screeched to a halt and, learning what Freyr planned next, he whined in delight and turned on the spot to rush into the floor with no regard to where he was running. Playing catch was fun! He zigzagged and jumped around pebbles on the floor and completely forgot that a battle was going on too, but he never forgot to watch for Freyr and automatically kept almost the same distance between them no matter how fast or slow Freyr was. The funniest was 'luring' Freyr real close and then jumping out of reach at the last moment, and if he got caught he could just catch Freyr again. Diarm could and would go on as long as Freyr wanted to. With Thanh grounded and staying there Dorthea finally managed to get a little more hold on herself, and she even managed to listen more serious to Aglaia's talk of her research, or rather the lack of knowledge gathered from said research. Dorthea shrugged, going for the casual approach "Oh, well. When dealing with real life it's all a matter of chance." She reasoned. She only caught half on to the fact that Aglaia was deciding a direction, because Heidrun and Thanh stopped the Unowns from moving anymore, and that action seemed to call even more Unowns forth. Dorthea clutched the Pokeball of her Squirt, ready to call him out in defence too, but the new arrivals only spirited the losers of the battle away, and the only thing present after their leave was the noise of their chanting against the stone walls. It was really eerie how it seemed to echo in the room, and it made it hard to determine if someone was actual present or not. "Heidrun," she called. "You better get back here." She hoped Aglaia would call her Ducklett back too. Dorthea didn't trust the bird to stay floored as long as he was out. Heidrun hid a roll of her eyes at Thanh's question. He was very odd she decided but tried to answer him none-the-less. "You were asking questions, and I couldn't answer them with you flying away all the time." she said with great patience, when he returned from giving the last opponent another whack. She backed up a bit, when the Unowns' friends came to pick up the pieces, and then none of them attacked right off the bat she turned her back to them and gestured for Thanh to do the same. It was a risky move, but she rather wanted back to her trainer now than never. "You wouldn't be so kind as to give me a ride back to the humans? This room is big." she asked just as politely as she had thanked him before. She wasn't sure she could answer his questions to his satisfaction, other than to tell him they had tasted good. Freyr was surprised with how fast Diarm was and against his expectations he really had to work to keep up with the small chicken. A moment where he wasn't racing after Diarm but instead pretended to be sneaking in on him, Freyr looked closer at the torchic and wondered if the young had grown more than he and noticed. The fennekin clearly had played more tag than the torchic though and he found it easy to guess which direction Diarm chose to run in, but that was also the only advantage he had. He played happily with Diarm all until all the unowns appeared, then he stopped abruptly and backed away from the warily. "We might be careful and keep a distance to those, I'm not sure it would be fun playing with that many," Freyr said and much against his will he looked around to see where the humans were. He didn't want to be on his own protecting Diarm against that many, not even Diarm would stand a chance alone here.
Wystan came buzzing past and turned around to land beside them. "Have you seen the exit in this direction? Aglaia is certain that is should be around here and it is probably about time we get out," the beedrill said calmly showing no wariness towards the two fire types.
"And we better try find the exit with that many unowns," Aglaia said and failed to hide her fright. They might be gone as quick as they had appeared but Aglaia just expected them to pop out somewhere else. She waited for Thanh and Heidrun to join them before she began to jog in the direction she had sent Wystan to. She didn't like that the place didn't seem familiar to her, she was sure they had returned the same way they got in, but she didn't remember that they had moved so far into the ruin. Had it really been this deep? "I think we should have been out by now, do you think there has been another side road or something else we have missed," Aglaia asked her cousin and glanced nervously at the unowns. "Or..." she began but didn't dare finish the question: do you think they are messing with us somehow?
Thanh quacked loudly when the air was filled with unowns and he ended up not really hearing what Heidrun said to him, other than she asked him to get them back. "Yes yes, good idea," he said and attempted to pick up the joltik by his beak. He would be gently albeit hurried and if succeeded he would run back towards their trainers flapping his wings to pick up speed. Heidrun only needed to give him the tiniest jolt of electricity to get him to let go of her, and he would then shook his feathers from the discomfort. He would still allow her to get up on his back and carry her that way, from where ever she decided his beak wasn't comfortable enough, or if they had returned to the humans, just to help her keep up.

As Heidrun rode on Thanh's back trying to locate Dorthea and Aglaia they could hear a mubling sound coming from a nearby wall. Thinking it might be their trainers on the other side they walked towards the wall only to find a pair of Unown chanting instead and though displeased at first they had learned by now that they were an easy target to train against until they could find their masters. The Unown did not even noticed the two Pokemon as they chanted their species name in a trance like manner until a small crackle caused by Heidrun's electricity drew their attention. The Unown started to panic as beyond a handful of specifies in other parts of the ruins they had not seen many Pokemon and both of the Pokemon in front of them looked quite strange. As the Unown froze in fear not being quite sure how they should go about things as they did not see a human with the two Pokemon but they also knew they had never seen either species in the ruins before. Out of pure fright they started to chant their name again loud enough to be heard throughout the entire chamber, if nothing else it would certainly help any trainer locate the two Pokemon but it might also draw reinforcements from their fellow Unown if Heidrun and Thanh did not think quickly about what to do. If they did stay and fight they risked being outnumbered until their trainers could locate them but if they ran they still did not knock exactly where their trainers were. Whichever choice they made they did not have very much time to think about it as while the Unown were chanting they were also getting ready to launch an attack as a diversion while waiting on their friends. Despite their cute appearance these mysterious Pokemon were really going all out to protect themselves. Unown E (Level 10) and Unown U (Level 10) appeared and are ready to defend themselves, will you run or will you stay and fight?

Heidrun was caught completely unprepared when Thanh grabbed her in his beak, and by pure instinct electricity jolted from her body. She righted herself after he had dropped her, and turned to him in apology. "I'm really sorry about that. I think I'll be more comfortable just sitting on your back, if you'll still allow it." After he agreed she climbed up on his back careful to hold all else electricity she might have stored in check. She held on tight as he set in motion and tried to keep an eye on where the humans was now, but somehow they had disappeared from sight in the time between the other Unowns' arrival and them getting ready to go back. "Where did they go?" Heidrun asked, only an edge of worry in her voice. She let Thanh decide their direction, thinking he had a better idea of the room's layout from all his flying around. Instead they practically stumbled into a new pair of Unowns, and Heidrun squashed a groan as she squttled down from Thanh's back again in case it would turn into another fight. His obvious discomfort at her earlier zap had told her enough to know to keep the electricity from the ally. For a moment she thought they could sneak back without discovery, but then the two turned and raised their voices. Heidrun clicked her small beaks together and then decided to make noise too. Maybe it would attract their trainers and at the same time tell them about the danger lurking just around the corner. Heidrun sent her screech in the general direction of the U shaped Unown. ~~ Diarm just barely avoided plowing Freyr down, when he stopped the chase all at once. He didn't get what was so worrying about the number of other Pokemon, but he followed Freyr's advice in full trust and tried to make himself seem smaller as a way to stay unnoticed. He followed Freyr's look around the room, but couldn't see the girls either. When Wystan turned up and said they had to leave Diarm protested: "But we're playing!" he whispered, still in 'small-notice-me-not' mode. Only at Freyr's insistence they did as Wystan suggested would Diarm agree, but at that point sounds rose from behind the closest wall, and maybe some of them could recognize Heidrun's voice between them. ~~ Dorthea thought she had seen Heidrun and Thanh make some sort of agreement before moving together, and their direction had been towards them, but then she had looked away a few seconds to talk with Aglaia about finding the exit, and now she could see neither of their Pokemon on the floor. "This is getting very odd." Dorthea looked around just to be sure she couldn't see anyone else, and to check Aglaia's word of the place. Did it look any different from where they had entered? "We can't have gotten up somewhere else. We've only seen one hole with a rope hanging from the top. Maybe the room's architecture is made to conceal the entrance or something." She thought aloud. "But where did Thanh and Heidrun disappear to? They were there just a moment ago." Dorthea pointed where she had seen them last. The eerie echo of the Unown had drowned out the sound of Thanh's beating wings too. Wordcount: 550

Thanh dropped Heidrum very fast when she gave him a jolt and he shook his feathers to get rid of the unpleasantness. "Yes yes, come on, come on," he said hurriedly and push her up on his back with his beak, he just wanted to get out of there and not facing all those unowns on their own. As soon as Heidrun was up he waddled as fast as he could towards their trainers only to stop confused a moment later. Where did they go? Heidrun aired the same question and he just shook his head in bewilderment, he had no idea. He stomped a webbed feet in the ground in irritation and leaped into the air, it was always easier to see from above, he didn't think of if Heidrun was able to stay on or not, but he wouldn't complain if she tugged in his feathers to avoid falling off. He didn't get far as two unowns blocked their way and he hovered in the air for a bit before he landed while looking warily at them. "I didn't get to see anything," he said quietly to Hedirun and then started when she screamed. He leaped forward towards the closest unown, the U one and slapped it with a wing. "Stop scaring my friend!" He demanded furiously as he thought Heidrun's screeching was from fear.
~~
Wystan looked down with a smile at Diarm when he protested. "You can play outside as well too but we cannot stay here much longer, we need to find the exit soon," Wystan said and looked at Freyr who was surprised to be treated like an equal. "I haven't seen any exit, we were too busy playing," he said apologizing to Wystan and then turned to Diarm. "Have you seen the opening to the outside? Where there are sun and grass and such?" Freyr asked him and both adult pokemon waited for his answer.
Suddenly a sound was heard above the eerie chanting of the unowns. "Was, was that someone screaming?" Freyr asked worried before sending Diarm a reassuring smile. "We better check it out, come one," Wystan said and buzzed in the direction of where they had heard Heidrun. "Come Diarm, they might need our help, and the faster we help them and get out, the faster we can get to play again," the fennekin said cheerfully and then looked teasingly at the torchic. "Who get's first to Wystan?" He challenged before he bounced after the beedrill, making sure Diarm followed and wasn't left behind alone.
~~
Dorthea's comment about she found it odd didn't help at all on Aglaia's fear and she looked around nervously. "I don't know, I don't know," Aglaia all but whimpered before she took some deep breaths in the attempt to calm down. It didn't work and she had a hard time thinking strategically and find a solution to the problem. "Perhaps, perhaps they get us to walk in circles?" Aglaia suggested weakly and looked towards the nearest wall with writing, "I just don't really feel for getting too close to the walls and the unowns right now." "What should we do?" She ended up asking Dorthea.

Though the Unown were prepared for a battle they were not a very fast Pokemon and both Thanh and Heidrun managed to move just fast enough to make their move first trying to fend off the unfriendly Unown. Heidrun started up her attack first as she let out a booming Screech attack on the U shaped Unown. The horrible sound did not cause any damage to the mysterious Pokemon but it did lower its physical defense considerably greatly reducing its chances to last very long against any moves that made physical contact. Unown U could not catch a break even as the sound died down as right after the Screech ended Thanh rushed towards it with his wings spread out ready to attack. As he got close he unleashed a painful Wing Attack causing the Unown to cry out in pain that echoed off of the ruins walls. The sound would likely travel throughout most of the ruins and reach any other Unown that were out and about and draw them to the area if Heidrun and Thanh did not manage to defeat the two they had found quickly. Before they would get another chance to strike the two Unown finally had the energy to launch their own attacks starting with the seriously exhausted Unown U. As it chanted its species name a green beam shot from its eyes and collided with Heidrun causing moderate damage but not enough to put her in any danger yet. Just then the Unown E fired off its own beam of the same color at Heidrun causing more damage. The next round was about to start as the weakened Unown could feel doom quickly approaching while the Unown E frantically hoped for some backup to arrive before that could happen. Between Heidrun's Screech and Unown's cry someone must have heard them and would be compelled to investigate. The two Unown just had to hope that it would not be any more intruders to locate them first or this bad situation was only going to get worse. Diarm shook his head to the question about the exit. "Na-ah, didn't see it today. Only tunnels, walls and play-things." he elaborated seriously, not knowing that 'today' wasn't exactly the same as 'right now' or 'recently'. "But it's in one of the walls, right? We can go look." So long as he got to play afterwards he was all for finding the exit now. He didn't connect the screaming with something dangerous. There had been plenty of loud noises while all the Pokemon had played so far, so he didn't even catch on to the fact that Freyr was worried about it. He jumped about at Freyr's challenge. "Maybe they know where the exit are too." He grinned and raced after Wystan as quickly as his legs would move. At the turn of the corner however, he turned on a platter and hid behind Freyr in pure surprise at the Unowns' presence. He was so busy getting behind Freyr, he accidently pushed the fox much closer to Thanh and Heidrun than he himself had been. Then he asked, unsure from what he had been told all the other times "You sure they need help playing?"~~ Heidrun was less than pleased with how things were going. All their noise was sure to attract someone's attention, but she began doubting it would be the right kind. Especially, since the two Unowns already present decided to gang up on her. She groaned at the double attack, but supposed she was lucky their weird power hadn't hit harder than that. For a split second she debated taking revenge, but then the cavalry arrived just like she and Thanh had moments ago, and she sighed with relief. She backed away, happy to let others take the spot light. "I'm pulling out here, Thanh," She glanced back to see if any of the arrivals were willing to take her place. "A bit of help?"~~ Dorthea put a calming hand on Aglaia's shoulder, when she began showing obvious signs of nervousness. It helped that Dorthea's mind wasn't occupied by flying things too. Made her notice other stuff. "Hey, it'll be alright. If it was really dangerous in here, they wouldn't let visitors just walk right in, right." she winked and smiled reassuringly. "Anyway, first step must be to find our missing Pokemon. Then we can worry about the exit afterwards. And we still got someone to defend ourselves with." She held up Squirt's Pokeball for show, but refrained from letting him out. She still believed the others to be close by, since they hadn't been that far away. Wordcount: 431

Freyr sighed when Diarm said the exit was in a wall but the torchic was too young for him to share his worries with. "You are right, the exit is in a wall, the question is just which one," he answered cheerfully and wished they would find it soon without having to go through hoards of unowns. He didn't bother explaining Diarm that he had seen the exit today as they had entered through it, and he was certain they hadn't been here more than a few hours at max.
They raced after Wystan and Freyr ran right behind Diarm and pretended he did all he could to outrun his young friend. Young ones often found that really funny and Freyr preferred to have Diarm in front of him where he could keep an eye on him. He had to leap away to avoid run over Diarm as the torchic stopped abruptly and then pushed his way back him so fast and forcefully that he stumbled forward and first regained his footing when he stood beside Thanh. When had the torchic got such strength? Or perhaps the fennekin had just been caught on the wrong leg. He glanced back worriedly but Wystan waved reassuringly to him and turned his attention to Diarm. "Everyone likes to play, don't you think? And our friend here has asked for our help by playing with them," Freyr heard the beedrill said to Diarm and he hoped the young torchic would be okay with that.
Thanh looked a bit surprised and then nodded solemnly, Heidrun had screamed because she had been scared and now she withdraw to get away from them. "Of course, just you take a rest," he told her kindly and greeted Freyr. "Do you take that one?" He asked and was on his wings without waiting for any answer. He dived at the E unown and aimed a good slap of his wing at it. He could not accept that they weren't behaving properly and he would get them to leave one way or another so they didn't scare his friends even more. Freyr was too occupied getting his footing and checking up on Diarm for him to do any attacking.
~~
Aglaia smiled weakly to her cousin when she laid a hand on her shoulder, it didn't help her much. This place didn't look like one the authorities really had an eye on, so she doubted they would mark it off as prohibited area unless the ruins was about to crumble. Wild pokemon was a part of the risk of being a handler. "Yes, yes you are right, we have more pokemon to help us," Aglaia agreed and grabbed the pokeball containing Saury tightly. "and I haven't come across one serious warning for the area or the unowns, even though I misunderstood what I read," she continued more confidently and managed to contain her fear. She was not alone, Dorthea was with her and they would find a solution. "Do you think we can call for them, or will that attract the unowns?" She asked her cousin.

The two Unown simply watched while Heidrun slowly retreated from the battlefield, their eyes blinking in unison while they regained their energy for the next go round. Their blank expressions made it hard to read what they were thinking as a new opponent, Freyr, stepped out into the open. All that mattered now, however, was the battle. Thanh beat his wings powerfully as he started off the round, making a beeline for the other Unown this time. Pulling back one of his feathery appendages, the duck slapped the E-shaped critter in the eyeball, causing it to fall back a couple of inches, startled. It seemed as though it had gotten used to the idea of remaining safe from damage, truthfully. Perhaps unsurprisingly, then, it was Unown U who made the next move. The sentient letter hummed gently as several orbs of light started to glimmer around it, orbiting its physique like planets around a star. After a few seconds, the balls stopped this movement and began hurtling forward, one at a time, toward Thanh. The Ducklett barely had time to return to his original position before the attack smacked into him, pelting his body repeatedly. The bird braced himself for the impact, but seemed almost disappointed as the Bug move barely had any impact at all. Likewise, Unown E soon launched a Hidden Power burst. This time, the attack was aimed at Freyr, but the result was practically the same. The lupine dug his heels in and took the assault, but there was little to be concerned with. Nothing more than a flesh wound, as they say. Weather: StatusUnown E | Level 10 | Levitate HP: 62% (20/32) Status: Normal Used Hidden Power (Bug) on Freyr! Diarm listened to Wystan's answer, and then gave a nod "Okay". He kept his eyes on Freyr though, and then realised the fox was closest to the players. "Oh, are you going to play then, Freyr? Show them how quick you are at 'catch-me'! You'll take them for sure!" Diarm jumped up and down in eagerness and encouragement, earlier hesitance forgotten with the others' reassurance. He couldn't imagine Freyr being anything but great now. Freyr was the best. Heidrun joined Wystan and Diarm, gave the chick an unsure look not understanding his thrill about it, and then settled beside Wystan feeling closer to the other bug than any of the other Pokemon, simply because they shared a typing. "Thank you for showing up. I was getting rather tired of these things." she thanked him gratefully. "However great they do taste..." she added with an undertone of humour and winked at Wystan even though she didn't know if he was a bug that could be tempted to take a taste of others. "Any idea where our humans went?" She asked a bit after, returning to seriousness. She sort of missed crawling around in Dorthea's shirt, and she had noticed how attached the Beedrill was to the other girl. He seemed like one to keep a close eye on her. ~~ Dorthea wasn't entirely satisfied with the effect of her encouragement. Aglaia's smile was too strained. She could physically see Aglaia 'woman up' and tighten herself for their next move, and Dorthea gave her a tight half-embrace putting an arm around both her shoulders, so the cousin could physically feel her very real presence. "That's the spirit" She said brightly, and looked around. Right now no Pokemon were within eyesight, wild or their own. The sound of the Unown was still creeping around the room, but Dorthea was pretty sure she had heard something else than the eerie echo of them. "I'm not sure it really matters whether we call out or not. If the Unowns are psychic they can probably tell we are here either way." Even if it caused Aglaia more worry, Dorthea wasn't one for hiding her thoughts. "We could try and call them, but how about going for that sound before? I'm pretty sure that wasn't an Unown, and since there's only Unowns here it must have been one of ours." Dorthea was turning her head this way and that, trying to pinpoint the direction of different sounds. "If only I could remember where it had come from. Maybe we can try calling to them to scream again or make some noise, like a game of Marco Polo." She suggested with a grin, keeping her own spirit light and unconcerned. Wordcount: 451

Aglaia managed to send her cousin a semi-dry look when Dorthea put her arm around her to cheer her up. It did comfort her though as it was good to feel you weren't alone. She frowned when Dorthea pointed out what the unowns perhaps was capable of with their psychic powers, but she agreed with the reasoning Dorthea came with. If they really was out to get them, and knew they were here, they would come crashing down in waves, wouldn't they? "I have no idea, I have lost all sense of direction," Aglaia answered calmly and looked around too, not seeing anything that helped her. "I guess you are right the biggest chance is that it was one of ours, but technically another trainer could have entered after us," Aglaia pointed out and then added after a moment, "but if they are they might be in trouble and if not, it is probably best to stick together and help each other." "Marco Polo is a good idea, except I'm not certain any of my pokemon knows that trick, it's not like I have talked with them about it, or used it. Have you?" Aglaia asked, the idea was good but only if both parties knew what they were supposed to do. "I think I'll just do it the old fashioned way," Aglaia decided and then hesitated. She nudged Dorthea. "You go first," Aglaia said quietly and a bit embarrassed, she didn't dare shout as the first with the risk of their idea going wrong and herself being the reason. When Dorthea had called out, one way or another Aglaia joined in. "Wystan, Freyr, Thanh! If you can hear med call back!" Aglaia shouted with her hands cupped around her mouth.

"Oh yes, they are never going to beat me in a 'catch me'-game," Freyr answered Diarm a bit baffled but still trying to sound cheerful. He was not really ready for the first attack from the floating letter, and his attempts to dodge failed. It felt weird when they hit him, not pleasant but at least rather weak, he shook his body and glanced at his fur to see if there were any signs of injury but there wasn't. He could still feel it on his skin though. "Alright, you got the first round," Freyr called to the U unown, mostly for the sake of Diarm and then he raced around spitting embers at it here and there while he was going. He hadn't seen it had been the others that had attacked him, and Thanh had asked him to take care of that one.
Still in the air Thanh was taken by surprise when the unown he attacked didn't retaliate, and he was fully unprepared as the other hit him with the orbs all the letters used, they were no very creative. He managed to stay airborne and as he could see that Freyr was now targeting the U unown he dived at the E to slap it to the ground when he got close enough.
"Hmm," Wystan answered Heidrun absentmindedly as she thanked him for their help and commented on their taste, he was much more present when she asked to where their humans had disappeared to. "They didn't really leave anywhere, they are trying to find the way out and mine sent me ahead to scout. The only thing I have found though is you," He told her seriously. "I'm pretty sure I originally came from that direction," he pointed, "but everything looks the same, I suspect these to be playing with out mind," he said and pointed at the unowns. He then paused and tilted his head a bit, "did you hear that?" He asked and buzzed straight up in the hope of seeing something.
