[atrb=background,http://i60.tinypic.com/34673ww.jpg] Krystal ran to professor Oak's lab to clam her first pokemon but the only problem was the rainstorm that was slowing her down but she wasn't giving up so easily. After about an hour of fighting the rain, she managed to make it to the professor's lab and quickly opened the door and got out of the rain. She walked down a corridor only to be greeted by the professor himself, he took her hand rushed down to the room he kept the pokemon. Three pokeballs sat on pillows on a wooden table, the first pokeball from the left was Bulbasaur, the middle pokeball was Charmander and the last pokeball was Squirtle. It was hard for Krystal to choose as she though either one would be nice for a companion and to start her adventure with but she loves nature and Balbusaur fit the profile. The Balbusaur she choose was female and when she touched the pokeball, the pokemon appeared in front of Krystal. At first the pokemon looked around confused until it saw Krystal and the professor and she just stared at them. Krystal smiling at her new companion bent down and sat on her knees extending her hand in a friendly manner. The pokemon was hesitate but went to the trainer and took Krystal's hand. Krystal picked up the pokemon slowly and gave it a hug and surprisingly in gave one back. Knowing that they would get along Krystal said goodbye to the professor and went back into the rainstorm which was probably not a good idea but they couldn't stay at the professor's lab. Pressing onward through the strong rain and wind Krystal decided to look for some sort of shelter like a cave where they can wait for the storm to die down but she didn't see anything else other than trees and plants. So Krystal decided to push on with Amanita who was holding on the her trainers shoulder. Krystal noticing this took her backpack off and put Amanita in it trying to keep her pokemon with her and also hoping the storm would soon die down, when that was going happen only time could tell. Another hour or so of walking against the storm and Krystal managed to find a small cave to hide in. She just hope that it's empty and not occupied by something else.

Inside the cave where Krystal was now hiding from the storm, a small bear Pokemon was sleeping on the little cave's ground. As it turned out, the raining weather had brought the Pokemon to hiding in this cave, because the Pokemon's tan furs were soaking wet. The Pokemon known as Spinda was tired from running in the rain with its wobbling movement. The Spinda took more time than normal Pokemon would needed to hide from the rain.

Moments after Krystal and Amanita entered the cave, the sleeping Spinda was startled and disturbed from its sleep. The normal type flopped one ear up to listen to the surrounding, and then sniffed its nose for a few seconds before realizing what was going on. It was a human! Who disturbed its sleep! It quickly got up and approached the human, facing her with an angry growl because nobody could honestly see its eyes' expression.

[atrb=background,http://i60.tinypic.com/34673ww.jpg] Krystal saw the Spinida pokemon a rare one on route 29 so naturally Krystal was going to have Amanita fight the Spinida even though they are both soaking wet from the storm and cold to boot. Krystal didn't like the Spinida's attitude however and she would have to learn it some manners when Krystal catches it and Amaita was starting to think the same of the Spinida. Of course Krystal knew that Amanita had an anger issue when it comes to battle as Amanita was growling at the Spinida already. Amanita was not liking how the Spinida was treating his trainer and was growling at the pokemon. "Hey that's not very nice to growl at my trainer."Amanita yelled. She really doesn't like the Spinida but knew that if Amanita won that Krystal will capture it to add to their little party which Amanita didn't like but knew that it might help the pokemon see that her trainer is a good one. Krystal was getting irritated by the Spinida pokemon and when she heard Amanita growl at it again she lost it and decided to that the Spinida would understand better when she captured it. "Amanita use tackle on Spinida." Krystal yelled and Amanta happily followed Krystal's orders without hesitation.

The Spinda had no idea that Krystal had intention to captuer it, but it was aware of the fact that the trainer and her Pokemon were going to battle the bear. Knowing what's up ahead, the wild Pokemon got ready for a battle. Before it could do anything though, the Bulbasaur had already ran ahead after Krystal's order, and it was merely two seconds from tackling the Spinda. Therefore, it barely had time to think about how to respond, like dodging, and was hit by the grass type's body.

The Spinda nearly fell to the ground from the impact, but had it not been a natural spinner, it would have dropped to the ground. Balancing on its legs quickly, it energetically and furiously twirled toward the escaping Amanita, who was trying to get away from such a close distance after landing a hit. In a rapid one-two-three footsteps, the Spinda returned the Bulbasaur's Tackle with its own tackle.

[atrb=background,http://i60.tinypic.com/34673ww.jpg] Krystal saw that the Spinda pokemon wasn't going to give up so she had to come up with a plan and fast to catch the rare pokemon she wants. Even though she had only specific ones to catch, she actually had a soft spot for all pokemon even the bug types. She had seen almost all kinds of pokemon in the little restaurant she worked at and knew most of their names. She remembered a trainer and its Spinda coming in once for lunch and she served them. When she saw the pokemon she wanted the same one and that's what got her to become a trainer. Having a Spinda as her 2nd pokemon would be a record for her since it is a rare pokemon and hopefully when she contacts her parents in the next city and show them her 2 pokemon if she doesn't get more which she intends to do. Amanita has had it with the Spinda and growls at it again. "Your going to pay for that you little runt"Amanita said. Krystal saw that Amanita was getting a little iratatted and frustrated with the Spinda and decided that she needs to finish this battle and very fast. That's when she got an idea. "Amanita use tackle on Spinida twice." Krystal yelled and Amanita follows Krystals orders and hopes to end this battle once and for all knowing that her trainer wants to be he best trainer. OOC: Tiki said I should use 2 moves for an experiments

Spinda was in complete denial that it had taken such a powerful critical hit at the start of the battle. The damage caused by the attack had knocked the panda's rhythm completely off and now if was on the losing end of this battle. Now not only was it still angry about being woken up but it had to score a critical hit of it's own to try and bring this battle back from the brink. There were two problems with that however the first being that Amanita was faster than it was and the second was that even with a critical hit it would need to dodge the Bulbasaur's attack. Things began to look even worse as Amanita charged towards Spinda not giving the normal type a chance to aim it's attack carefully.

Charging forward Amanita rammed into Spinda with a full bodied Tackle sending the panda sliding a few feet back as well as knocking it off it's feet. The normal type was slow to recover and as soon as it did Spinda knew this was a now or never attempt at this point as it began to perform a Tackle of it's own. Using almost all of it's remaining energy it rammed into Amanita in a terrific last attempt to knock her out but it was not enough. The Bulbasaur recovered from the tackle still in fair condition just waiting for the right moment to deliver the final blow. As soon as she felt it was time she ran forward again and rammed the poor panda with all of her might leaving the Spinda knocked out cold.

Amanita could feel her strength grow a little as the battle came to a close. The poor SPinda was still lying face down on the ground hardly moving after such an exhausting battle and it was ripe for the taking if Krystal wanted to capture it. All the Spinda could do was rest and only time would tell what fate would befall it.

She through her very first pokeball and as she was picking it up, she was trying to think of a name for him. She always wanted a bear named Torben so she decided that, that would be his name, she just hope that the pokemon wasn't scared of her or mad for losing to her after all she only just started her life long journey ahead of her. "Come on out Torben" Krystal yelled throwing the pokeball she had in her hand. A bright light flashed and then Toben appeared. He seemed confused at first not sure what to do until he saw Krystal and Amanita. Amanita was exited to have a new friend to play with whenever Krystal decided to take a break from walking. Torben saw Krystal smiled at him and wondered what she would do to him now that she caught him. Suddenly though Krystal picked up the little panda like pokemon and gave it a hug. Torben was confused but in the end he hugged her back finding he had a soft spot for her. Amanita gave a huge grin seeing the pokemon's reaction at her trainers actions. Krystal had a habit of hugging Amanita whether she expects it or not but never got mad at her for it. The way Amanita sees it is that her trainer uses hugs to reassure the pokemon she has and that she means them no harm or she's sorry for something but if she was, wouldn't she be crying too? Leaving that for now Amanita got a little frustrated, not liking to be left out, she climbed on Krystal's shoulder and wiggled her way into the hug to. Krystal seeing this she burst into laughing and moved Torben to make space for Amanita and the hugged them both. While hugging them, Krystal got of on her feet and started walking again towards CherryGrove city and all three new they still have a long way to go before they reach it. As Krystal shared a joyous moment with the newest member of her team with a large hug, including her Bulbasaur in the embrace as well, the trio continued on their way to Cherrygrove City. After meeting her first wild encounter and successfully capturing it, Krystal likely felt that she had achieved something great and her journey had only just begun! There were many other Pokemon out there just waiting to be captured, so as her footsteps crunched against the dirt path beneath her, there was no doubt that there would be plenty more comforting hugs in the future. As the trainer and her Pokemon walked, they soon felt a cold breeze pick up, brushing across their skin and fur and being cold enough to make them shudder. Luckily they weren't too far away from the next city but another encounter was just moments away and didn't intend to let Krystal walk past it.

A lurking Sentret had been lingering in the nearby bushes and watched the previous battle take place. It had no interest in actually fighting but by the end, the human and Spinda were friends. Wondering just what a hug felt like, it intrigued the Sentret enough to go ahead and investigate. So much so, that it planned to replicate what it had just saw. If the Sentret were to battle against the human's Pokemon, then after a while a ball would be thrown and it, too, could feel the warmth of another. That was how it worked, right? Anything was better than rolling around in this cold wind! Thus, as a chunk of tall grass shook violently nearby to Krystal, all of a sudden a puff of brown fur rolled out and obstructed her way. Uncoiling itself and standing on the tip of it's tail, the Sentret tried to look intimidating but the mass of fur could only be described as adorable, as it's ears twitched eagerly, waiting for a battle to begin.

When Krystal came to a stop and felt the cold breeze she shuddered and groaned inwardly not liking the turn the weather was taking at all, after all she had no shelter to go to so she would have to spend another night in a cave again. Her parents did warn her what it would be like and even though the weather took a turn for the worst she had no regrets. She wasn't that far from Cherrygrove city, however she wasn't in a hurry to get to it at all. This cold breeze only meant one thing an as Krystal look up she saw dark clouds gathering together. This meant a hail storm so things were about to get wet and full of hail too. She wanted to get under the safe haven of a tree before the storm hit.

Before she could move she heard nearby grass moving around and suddenly Krystal was feeling very frightened. What if its a banded or a raider or something even worse. She thought as she waited for the thing in the grass to reveal it self, Krystal's pokemon went into a defensive mode around their now scared trainer. Krystal was waiting patiently for the thing to reveal it self as the wind picked up blowing her blonde hair around her face which Krystal hated because her hair always manages to find a way into her mouth which is why she ties it up most of the time. When the thing made it self know, Krystal saw that it was a sentret instead of a mugger much to her relief. Krystal remembered that she was mugged once when she was working late one night and could never forget that nigh so easily and she still has some nightmares of the event. Noticing the sentret Krystal suddenly burst into laughter making everyone wonder why she was laughing. Turns out she was laughing at the sentret that was trying to look though but ended up looking to cute for Krystal take the pokemon seriously.

When Krystal stopped laughing she wiped the tears of her eyes that formed from laughing to hard and decided to give Torben a spin. "Alright Torben, your first. I want the cute sentret so use tackle on him". Krystal ordered and Torben had no problem obeying orders happy to make the sentret pay for scaring his beloved trainer like that. Amanita was watching on the sidelines ready to go into battle if the sentret was a little to strong for Torben to handle,he is after all the new one in the party or she should actually say family. Amanita noticed Torben's behavior and could see that he took a great interest in Krystal which should be natural since she was his trainer now but Amanita couldn't help but think there might be more too it or maybe Torben doesn't know what it feels like to be loved, appreciated or taken care of, he did live in the wild for a long time before he met Krystal. So the battle between Torben and the sentret began while the storm started to unfold.

Totally unaware of how cute it was, Sentret took slight offense to Krystal's heavy laughing. Sentret was trying to learn the warmth of love and companionship! How dare her not take Sentret seriously? The creature was weathered and battered, trained and true in the rough Route. With the harsh weather, Sentret was tense and on edge. Longing for the touch of another, Sentret had a lot to prove as the female trainer managed to get herself together and send a Pokemon out to fight it. Despite the weather, Sentret was ready to rumble and wouldn't take no for an answer. The happiness of it's future was in the balance!

It's opponent, a strange looking Bear, seemed to wobble and wiggle as it attempted to keep it's balance. How could Sentret lose to such a clumsy target such as this? Little did it know, good 'ol Torben packed quite a bit of punch. Sentret was aware of the species of bear, as this route had a few of them, but sometimes the best way to stay warm was to cuddle up and stay out of the elements. So, Sentret had to battle in order to earn the next stage up. Not wasting any time, Sentret began to bounce forward like an aggressive Raikou, however it came off as an adorable bounce all the same. 

Torben was able to slip in a little faster and began to stumble forward. The confusing movements Torben was doing made Sentret nervous. Where was it going to go? Where could Sentret avoid the backlash from the battle? While it was trying to decide, Sentret made a misstep and found itself right in the way of Torben's stumbling gait. The Tackle was swift and strong, and Sentret managed to use the momentum of the attack to roll itself back towards Torben, claws outstretched for a scratch. So far the battle was going well, but the hit definitely did hurt Sentret. The little Pokemon had to make sure that Krystal understood it was a powerful Pokemon, so if it needed to take out this bumbling bear, so be it.

Krystal was soaked to the bone and even her backpack with all her stuff in was wet by now. Of course being stubborn Krystal refused to move even as the hail was battering and bruising her skin. She wanted the Sentret badly because something was telling her that this fight was about something else other than just a normal fight. Krystal was starting to see the pokemon was powerful but too cute to take seriously as she giggled a little along with Amanita and Smoky. She got Smoky from a friend she made when she was new in New bark town. The friend she made couldn't leave his family behind so he gave her Smoky to help her out on her journey instead.

Krystal and Smoky became friends immediately when they met and the little pokemon got a crush on Krystal seeing as how good she was treating him. His previous trainer was nice to but Krystal was a little bit nicer and smelled nice too. However Torben became his little rival seeing as Torben got a crush on Krystal too and the two would argue over it until Amanita or Krystal breaks up the fight. Things were going good for Krystal and she couldn't be happier as she was about to have a new friend soon. To be honest Krystal would capture all pokemon just so that she wouldn't be alone anymore though it didn't bother her that much if she lied to herself. She could see that the Sentret was packing a punch despite being cute and bouncy on its tail which she found very adorable. As the storm was continuing Krystal made the decision to use Torben again in the fight as she knew he had it in him to beat the Sentret though Smoky thought other wise. Smoky never really liked Torben since they met but he does keep in line to keep Krystal happy.

"Torben use tackle on the Sentret again" Krystal said and Torben follows orders as always trying to please his trainer. He wasn't sure where his feelings for his trainer came from but all he knew was that he liked her and he didn't like the thought of Smoky becoming her number two instead of him of course Amanita would be her number one since she is Krystal's first pokemon. Things got better for Torben though he didn't think he would have a rival for his trainers affection in the first place. Smoky was a gift and Torben didn't like it one bit, thinking he lacked training and he was nothing but a pet but his trainer said other wise and that they should get along what he despise doing with Smoky. Things were looking up for him despite the fact that Smoky is here, maybe he could get a long with him if only Smoky would put aside his rivalry but Torben has his doubts about that ever happening.

This battle itself was mind boggling the poor Sentret. First, it was the giggling trainer, and then it was the wobbling Spinda. It was trying its best to show the human its powerful paws and strength! Torben went forward, tip-toeing on his feet, swirling and swaying side to side until he got closed to the Sentret. When it got close, the Spinda slammed hard at the opponent, so much that the Sentret squeaked loudly and angrily.

Sentret could feel itself going down if it don't do something soon. Standing on the grass with its feet instead of tail, the furry opponent curled itself into a fur ball, tightening itself to raise physical defense. Then, it went back to standing on its tail, and looking at the opponent with a straight face. It can't let the human and spinda know that it's low on stamina! The Sentret surely was ready for the next round!

Krystal couldn't help but giggle at how cute the little Sentret was while trying to show its strength. She knew it was trying to show of but he just so cute to her she couldn't stop the giggles. Torben understood why she was giggling because throughout his little time with her he learned that she like cute pokemon but that she was going to help it get stronger too, if only the Sentret could see that. Torben was waiting for his trainer to stop giggling so she could tell him the next move so Torben could finish the Sentret of. Krystal manage to compose herself but she was still smiling big thinking of what move to give Torben to finish of the Sentret so she could capture it and add it to her team. "Alright Torben use tackle on the Sentret again"Krystal told Torben a command Torben finally got.

Krystal couldn't wait to put Sentret into her team and raise it to become stronger and have it evolve. Krystal always wanted to catch pokemon and evolve them to become strong so she could get rid of any trainers including her rival Silver and Kailyn. Kailyn was one of the girls that worked at the same cafe Krystal worked at. She was top waitress until Krystal started working there and took over as top made making a lot of sales and business for the cafe and Kailyn never liked Krystal since she moved back to New Bark town. Kailyn got jealous of Krystal since she was able to become the top maid faster than she ever did and now Krystal has gone on an adventure same as Kailyn has and Krystal was ahead of her again. Krystal knew she would face Kailyn sooner or later at the league or somewhere along the road. Krystal knew just how jealous Kailyn could get and that was proved to be true when a cute or hot guy walked into the cafe.

Thinking about Kailyn made Krystal sighed in frustration, she wanted to be friends not get the girl jealous of her or made at her for any reason. Krystal was only doing the best she could not start a competition then again she knew how some girls minds work. But of course Krystal couldn't think about that right now, she had a battle to get back to as well as a league to win. Krystal started to focus and waiting for the battle to end hoping to catch the Sentret and add it to her team. Thinking about that got her giggling again, she couldn't help it no matter how hard she tried but hopes it will stop once she has the Sentret. The pokemon she wants the most however is Fraokie and raise it to Greninja. Yes she wants a Fraokie even though she knows she might be in the wrong region she didn't care she wanted it and was hoping to have one, one way or another. She wasn't going down without a fight or giving up anytime soon thoguh.

P.S: If Torben's battle with the sentret is over please swap him out for the Heracross egg.

Although it had bigged itself up as an intimidating force to be reckoned with, it was obvious that the Sentret was running out of steam. Faced off against Torben's hefty bone crunching tackles and the misfortune of being struck with a critical blow, it meant the Pokémon had no real options to follow through with. It could run away, sure, but there was no fun in that. Deciding to accept its face, it hopped back on its long, striped tail and awaited the knock out blow. Not leaving room for disappoint, Krystal imparted a clear order and the Spinda was keen to fulfil the request. Stepping forwards it what can only be described as a zig zag criss cross from side to side, the spot panda built up an incredible amount of momentum and eventually went colliding into the enemy opponent. Leaving it to fall backwards from the impact, it went tumbling backwards into the grass. One opponent down, it meant Krystal had taken a small step in achieving her dream of fending off the rivals that clogged her mind. If she was looking for ways to improve her chances by acquiring rare and powerful Pokémon, it appeared the beckoning towns and cities that loomed in the distance would hopefully provide some promise. Who knows, although it wasn't native, it was possible she might even bump into a Froakie of her own.

After the sentret was knocked out but Torben's last tackle, she trough her pokeball wanting to keep the cute sentret. When she caught it she picked up her ball and put it on her belt with the others she has with her. She kept walking on after congratulating Torben and after a while something caught her interest and she went to take a closer look underneath a big green tree. When she got closer she could see it was an egg and Krystal decided to keep the egg for herself and put it in her pack back waiting for it to hatch and hopefully it would soon as her curiosity grew. Krystal always has a curiosity if things can get her attention and that would mostly be shiny things. Putting some her worries behind her she continues her journey and her goal of getting that Froakie pokemon she badly wants. This particular pokemon kinda reminds her of the story of the princess and the frog. shaking her head to get her mind of the story so she could focus made her a little bit dizzy to say the least. Finding her footing again she started walking but soon she got hungry and stopped to have something to eat.

The day was new with a bright sun shining along with perfect weather and that has put Krystal in a good mood. Out of her back pack she took out a sandwich she made the night before, it was still good, she let out her pokemon along with the new sentret which she called Cali and gave her a pink scarf she bought before leaving New Bark town. she put six bowls on the ground and put in there food she bought, she could probably cook food for them but she lacked confidence to cook for anyone as she tend to burn the food on the stove or in the oven. Once everyone was done eating she called them all back except for Cali who she lets ride on her shoulder so that the sentret would get used to her as her trainer now. Cali hesitated first but once she saw Krystal's smile so Cali gladly climbed up after Krystal cleaned up and had her back pack on her shoulders. Krystal hoped that this will help strengthen their bond as pokemon and trainer. Krystal got on her feet and started walking again in the direction of cherrygrove city which seems to be far away. Cherrygrove city is where her first gym that she will face on her journey.

Nature/Personality: Cali is a bit rash but has a fondness for Krystal and admires Torben's strength, she might also have a small crush on him that she wouldn't admit to even to her trainer. Cali wants to get stronger and that might be achievable if she stays with Krystal and hopefully she and Krystal might be as close as Krystal is with her other pokemon.
