Alex didn't realize that, he was resting longer than he thought by the lake, but he did feel rested. Unfortunately, it was now dawn and he would probably have to sleep overnight, or just run to the nearest Pokemon Center if he can figure out which way he came from. He probably won't be lost though, as he had some flying Pokemon with him to examine the area.
Then, just as he was about to leave, his fishing rod picked up a Pokemon. He pulled the rod up and revealed the heart shaped Pokemon. So strange, as he had never seen one before. Maybe he should stay and fish some more Pokemon. Wanting to capture this exotic Pokemon, he sent out his Bidoog, named Stunt, and ordered him to use Cut on the water Pokemon.
OOC: okay so Cut and tackle are supposed to do the same amount of damage lol
PS. Can I use the same move twice to speed up??

Luvdisc soon found it didn't have much time to enjoy the amazing view. Some strange being just called forth a Bidoof from out of thin air. "Luuv?" it wondered, and gazed at Stunt with curious charm. "Where did you come from?" It asked him, and swam forward in a graceful float. Stunt appearently hadn't time to answer. To execute Alex' wishes he had to jump out in the shallow water to the Luvdisc, before cutting after it with his protuding teeth. Luvdisc, being unprepared for such aggression, screamed with surprise and pushed him away with a blast of water. Stunt slipped back, but was soon after the Luvdisc once more, and managed to nip at it, before it found a bit deeper, where it obviously hoped Stunt wouldn't follow. The attack had scared Luvdisc, but it wasn't quite ready to disappear into its watery home. Who knew, when it would find its way back to here? And suddenly, a new novel thing arrived in the form of a pretty white and purple coloured bird, that fluttered down from the tree tops. Some snow flakes escaped along with it through the upper tree line, and littered the ground at Alex' feet with frosting. "Deli deli Lii!" the Delibird announced its arrival in a festive tone, and threw a small package straight at Alex' chest. It was a soft motion, so he would have ample time to catch it, if his reflexes worked just somewhat decent. That done the snow bird saluted, and jumped away in the direction Alex had first arrived from. Wild Pokemon Battle

Alex tried to watch the two Pokemon's attack, but the water splashing around was making it slightly hard to see. One thing he wasn't sure was, if his Bidoof got weakened from the Luvdisc's attack. He thought Stunt received some weakening tactic from the water type, but he wasn't completely sure. Then, out of nowhere, his attention was distracted by a purple bird, who had delivered tossed some seasonal gift to the trainer. He acted a panicky gesture, and successfully grabbed the present! Inside was a few rare candies, that he put into his bag for safe keeping.
Saying goodbye and thanks to the Delibird, Alex returned his attention to the battle. He was filled with joy from the Delibird, and just happily ordered his Bidoof to use Cut once more, while tugging the gift box wrapping into his bag as well.
OOC: tackle again

Luvdisc shot a look Alex' way, when he next uttered words. It was starting to understand, that it was actually the two-legged creature who was the cause of the Bidoof's actions, but what it didn't understand was, why that was. Luvdisc had never seen a human before, and it didn't immediately connect the stories from other Pokemon with this situation. The deeper water didn't save it apparently, when Bidoof immediately started to swim after it with a new order to fulfil. Luvdisc shot of a new stream of water to keep the distance and swam in a zigzag pattern to try and avoid the forthcoming attacker. It was no good. Bidoof wasn't slowed much by the water, and was somehow able to predict Luvdisc' route, so he turned just at the right moment, and managed to catch it in shallow water once more. Luvdisc squirmed, trying to avoid the nasty teeth. This was only partly succesful, as they still scraped against its side. Luvdisc ripped itself free, and with heavy pants it saught out a small corner in the shallow furthest away from Bidoof and Alex both. Wild Pokemon Battle

Now that the gift box was secured in his bag, Alex continued on with the battle that he was having with this Luvdisc. He might have missed the part with the Luvdisc observing him, but little did the water Pokemon knows, the water type would soon be captured anyways. Seeing how the luvdisc looked a bit tired to swim, Alex grabbed an empty Pokeball from his bag, and repeat this usual process of capturing Pokemon.
He watched how the luvdisc used water gun again, and how his Bidoog was unfazed by the attack. Either the attack was ineffective, or his normal Pokemon was more experienced. After the Bidoof's cut attack, he looked around the water to locate the luvdisc again, and then tossed the Pokeball at it.
OOC: self deducted one pokeball

Luvdisc was alert now and somewhat regretting not escaping to the bottom of the lake first thing. No view, no matter how beautiful, was worth this fright. Luvdisc lowered itself in the water in an effort to find some sense of security. Its escape was blocked by Stunt, and the weird, two-legged creature was moving around on land. Luvdisc didn't know who to keep the most eye on, but it was fully expecting another cutting attack from the Bidoof. Luvdisc's surprise was therefor that much bigger, when the human threw an arm in the air, and something small flew from the hand. The small red and white ball landed with a plop in front of Luvdisc, and rocked gently up and down in the ripples. Curious, Luvdisc rose a bit from the water, and pushed at it with its lips, trying to investigate. The next moment the ball opened and sucked its victim into swirling, red light. The ball closed, and the rocking of it increased, as Luvdisc fought its hold. It took forever. However, in the end a small 'ding' sounded, and the rocking decreased. Now, Alex only needed to get it out of the water. The wild Luvdisc was caught. Fill out the form below. Luvdisc Name: Gender: Level: 8 Attacks: Tackle, Charm, Water Gun Ability: Swift Swim Nature/Personality: Stunt gained 2 levels, and is now level 14! He can learn Rollout. Forget something else? One of Alex' other Pokemon is holding Exp.Share and should get a level, but is it the Petilil or the Whirlipede?

OOC: not learning Roll Out, lol.
and it's the petilil, self updated.
IC: With the Luvdisc weakened, he was relieved that this battle was a quick one, and not dragging anymore into the night. He asked the Bidoof to pick up the Pokeball for him, as the sphere was floating on the water. Once Stunt retrieved the Pokeball, Alex thanked his help and returned the normal type. He caught a Luvdisc, how interesting was that. Though right now, it was getting dark and he should be going. He also returned any remaining Pokemon out in the area, and prepared to leave.
Just as he was about to leave though, he could feel something creepy about this water.
