Having defeated her first opponent as well as having her Scatterbug evolved into the next stage, Spewpa, Penelope was ready to have some celebration! Problem was, the sky was actually getting dark and she couldn't get her picnic. However, she could still go shop for a dine in at Pokemon Center. Walking by herself and her Bunnelby, she headed toward the streets of Cherrygrove City to buy some food for her party. Probably some carrots and potatoes for Bunnelby, and some lettuce and kale for Spewpa. Still, she couldn't forget the dazzling bright light that enveloped the bug type and bringing her to the next stage. It was an amazingly good feeling! She also couldn't forget the encounter with Silver, or whom she nicknamed Beets. She hoped that maybe next time they meet, he would be slightly better about treating his Pokemon.
Swaying her arms side to side, she walked casually, singing some very simple tunes off of her head. She walked past a bakery, and even though it was evening, the flavorful baked goods still emanate some delightful scent. She purchased some dinner rolls, and then continued to keep her eyes open for whatever food stores that would catch her eyes.

While Penelope walked through the streets of Cherrygrove looking for any other food stores that may catch her eye she had an unexpected guest who was looking for something fun to do and upon seeing the young girl the visitor decided to follow her for a while to see what she might do. As Penelope stopped in front of a shop with a mirror in front of the store she noticed the small visitor who had no idea it had been spotted until the young girl turned around. It was then that the young Pokemon began to shiver as it wondered how the human would react to seeing it. After all it was not a very common sight in Cherrygrove and most young girls that laid eyes on a Skitty would go crazy over how cute they were. The small feline was too spooked to try and run off and it just stood in it's place with it's thoughts racing. Skitty knew most young girls would be kind to it's kind if not too kind however there was no way to tell for sure. As she did not immediately start tossing Pokeball's at it however the feline figured that she was at least not heartless as it slowly tried to focus on what it should do next. With very few options open for it outside of a battle however Skitty knew deep in it's heart that the only way to settle the manner was to fight it's way out of the awkward situation. Usually they did not get spotted out of the blue like this and most of the time when they were running was an option but fear had already removed this as an option. As the feline waited for Penelope to select a Pokemon it's legs continued to shake in fear. Not knowing what Pokemon the young girl had made this encounter all the more terrifying and only seeing what Pokemon she had may make or break SKitty's chances of winning this battle. A wild Skitty level 6 challenges you to a battle. Please select a Pokemon.

Upon exiting the bakery shop with a bag of dinner rolls on her hand, she stumbled upon a Skitty, who seemed to be a bit afraid. However, at the same time, the Skitty was soo adorable. Penelope wanted to pet it, but it wasn't sure if it would be a smart idea to do, or it would scare the feline away. She commented, "Aww, you're so cute!", as she crouched down and looked at the Skitty at a lower eye level first.
Afterwards, she got up and tossed out a Pokeball, wanting to find out about how this cute Pokemon battles. "Come on out, Bunnelby. Look at this cute little Skitty! I want to battle it to see how it moves, so let's start off with a Tackle!" She cried, exclaiming excitement over a stranger Pokemon on the street. As the Pokeball revealed Bunnelby, the rabbit Pokemon turned his head to looked over at a bakery store nearby, which Penelope had just left. He was a bit distracted with the little smell of food, but at the same time, he had a battle to do. He ran forward for a tackle!

Having followed Penelope all this time, the skittish Skitty became nervous as soon as the young girl's eyes fell upon the sight of the adorable, pink kitten. It wasn't spotted by civilians often but when it was, it usually received reactions very similar to how Penelope had just been. Cute, adorable... Those words were often followed by a wall of Pokeballs being thrown, in attempt to capture it and in the back of the Skitty's mind, big warning signs began to flash. Mouth wobbling nervously, the Skitty turned it's head as if trying to find a safe escape route but before it could do anything, the sight of an unfamiliar Pokemon sprang before it. An unusual, soft looking brown bunny bounced onto the scene and with this, the Skitty knew it had little option but to fight.
"MOMA! Look at that cute Pokemon!" Being in the streets of Cherrygrove, it was very likely that a battle would go unnoticed. A passing mother and child had stopped a few paces away, the mother clearly struggling as she tried to control her intrigued child. "I know dear but let's not get in their way, okay?" Her soft voice trying to tempt the child from leaving them alone, a saddened "...peh" escaped the child's lips as she was soon dragged away. Distracted by this scene, the unaware Skitty hadn't realised that Bunnelby had began to move. The soft fabric of his Silk Scarf seemingly powering up his attack, the rabbit used his large ears to crash into the Skitty, tackling into it fiercely.
The pained mewing from the feline drawing in a few more watchers, the Skitty wobbled onto it's paws, clearly scared. But in retaliation, it began to shake it's tail, trying to gain some pity points. If it came across as weak and helpless, then Bunnelby surely wouldn't attack again, right?

After calling the Skitty cute, the pink feline seemed to have some trauma or something, as the Skitty's mouth made an unusual facial expression that likely screamed an impending problem. They were briefly interrupted by a passerby and a kid being dragged away, who were unfortunately being unable to attend such an adorable battle between the Bunnelby and Skitty. Peneloped muttered a disappointed "aww" as the child was being pulled by the adult. Then, after the two exchanged attacks, they finally did drawn in some viewers to the show. Penelope remained smiling at the Skitty, hopefully reducing the feline's scared tension.
"Look at how nimble you are, Skitty! Heehee. Alright, Bunnelby, return," She held out a Pokeball to withdraw the normal type back into the capture device. "Now, come on out, Spewpa, go for a Tackle when the Skitty gets close!" She then switched her Pokemon of choice, sending out another strange looking Pokemon on the field. Honestly, since Spewpa had no legs or wings, she wasn't sure how she would attack with a tackle.

The wild Skitty eyed Penelope and the Bunnelby cautiously, waiting to see just what the trainer would do next. In the mean time, the pink furred Pokemon licked at her paw slowly, as if trying to tame the aches and pains which were running wild across it's senses. A few members of the crowd had stood around, waiting to see how the battle would end and many giving more 'cute' remarks. But with the flicking of it's tail and licking of it's paw, the seemingly innocent feline wasn't helping it's case! If it wanted to be viewed as less cute, perhaps it would be better to be more violent in it's actions. That was exactly the sort of chance of place the feline might have needed. Although being young and small, the Bunnelby it was facing wasn't that much bigger. Now all it had to do was force itself to fight through the injuries of the previous round.
After convincing itself to go in for a Tackle attack of it's own, the Skitty was about to prance forward when it was forced to stop in it's tracks. Withdrawing the Bunnbelby in replace of a dusty, cocoon looking Pokemon, at first, the Skitty tilted it's head to one side in confusion. But compared to the rabbit, this opponent looked much more stationed to just one spot. All the better! That narrowed the Skitty's chances of missing. With a subtle smirk, the kitten pinned back it's ears and with a frantic leap, aimed straight for Spewpa. Tackling into it's body and causing a cloud of dust to lift into the air on impact, the feline coughed and spewed but this distraction was enough for Penelope's Pokemon to make a comeback.
Having falling over from the Skitty's tackle, the Spewpa used her string shot to pull her own body along the ground, picking up momentum until she eventually rolled and tackled the Skitty down. Much weaker than before, the Skitty struggling to pull herself back up onto all four paws. Gasping for breath ever so slightly, the feline winced before waving it's tail playfully over at the Spewpa, hoping the bug would go easier on it next time.

As the battle continued, the crowd seemed to be slightly bigger as well. Just slightly, though, as there weren't many people in this part of town at this hour. The feline seemed to be acting as cute as ever, even the tackles themselves made the crowd excited. How ironic! Spewpa was mostly a stationery Pokemon, unless something threatening that would make the bug type use a string shot to get away. However, the ambition Skitty seemed to not mind the immobile bug type Pokemon, and in fact, take advantage and hit the hug type with a tackle and some playful tail slapping on the Spewpa.
"Aww, look at you! Playing with your tail again! Okay, Spewpa, use Tackle again! That was really good to use string shot and then roll yourself at the Skitty!" Penelope spoke, commenting on the Skitty and then cheering for her own Pokemon. Even though she was carrying a bag of dinner rolls with one hand, she held both hands into a fist, showing her excitement as the battle with this Skitty continued.

The weak Skitty struggled to stand and in it's most embarrassing moment, felt the amount of eyes staring at it. The crowd watching the battle continue had begun to grow and with it, the Skitty felt weak and helpless. That paired with Penelope thinking that the feline was playing around when it actually tried hard to win or land a good hit last round, somewhat hurt it's pride. It's once sly smirk having since changed to a sneer, the Skitty was very surprised with how the Spewpa had managed to defend itself. With the help of the string shot, it had managed to pull it's body forward quite quickly, meaning that the hit hurt quite a bit. Shaking off some dust particles from it's face, the small kitten tried it's hardest to fight on but it was very clear to see that the fight was near enough over. With her final order, Penelope clutched onto her bag of groceries as she waited in anticipation for the outcome.
Knowing that a repeat of the previous round was coming up, the Skitty visibly gulped and took a nervous step backward on it's soft, pink paws. But no amount of trying to act cute would stop Spewpa. Propelling forward with the help of it's string shot, the dust covered bug lunged threw the air, it's destination being Skitty. Tackling the pink feline down, that hit was enough to say that the battle was well and truly over. Many of the crowd moved on and some even lurked behind just incase they were able to nab the rare Pokemon if Penelope were to walk away from it. But of course, if she chose to, she could also capture it herself. Though it seemed that something much more exciting was going on with her own Pokemon, as Spewpa began to practically glow!
Skitty: | Level 6 | Health: 0% ( 0/23 HP) Status: Normal Skitty fainted!

evolving Vivillon (Ocean) learn Struggle bug over string shot also modify personality a bit after evolution: Horizon is nonchalant about life, but she enjoys hanging out with Penelope, mostly eating with her. As a humble bug Pokemon, she is happy that she leaves the hostility of the wild to be trained under young and naive and happy Penelope. She likes to sleep in the shade. Having evolved into a Vivillon, she enjoys fluttering around looking around.
Seeing his Spewpa using another Tackle again, Penelope went from anxious to excitement as the Skitty was knocked out. She shouted a loud "You did it!" toward her Pokemon, and jumped up and down. Her hopping was paused when she saw her Pokemon evolving, glowing bright and transforming right in front of her very eyes, and also in front of spectators. The round Spewpa morphed into a fluttering, big-winged Vivillon. The Vivillon also had something unique about it, it seemed to be blue in the bottom wings and orange on the upper wings. Looking at the Vivllon under the Cherrygrove sunset, all she could think was how the pattern matches the sun setting on the horizon.... And so today was the day that she named her Vivillon "Horizon". She thought that was a fitting name! Hugging her Pokemon and congratulating it, she then returned all her Pokemon and continued shopping for food, which they all had a fun dinner in the Pokemon Center dining area later that night.
And she completely left the Skitty for strangers to capture it.
