The cave, although dark, was still inhabited by an array of creatures, each unique in composition and stature. Throughout the different varieties of little monsters, they all seemed to carry some sort of defensive quality whether it be in their typing, abilities, genetic structure, stats, etc.. Remi was quite the lucky trainer to have caught that Wynaut, it being incredibly rare throughout most of the Pokemon world made it very special and quite sought after through many collectors and the like. Lucky for Remi, 90% of trainers never dared to go into Dark Cave, for the obvious reason of the light issue, so she could possibly be the only trainer for hundreds of miles with this rare Pokemon.
Although Remi had acquired quite the catch, another Pokemon spun down the cave path. Bronzor levitated towards the source of the light, curious as to what might be causing this odd occurrence in the cave. Not many trainers dared to test their luck in the dank confines of the rocky location, although there was nothing too fearful in here. Remi and her band of exotic Pokemon found themselves upon a steel inhabitant of the cave, although not too rare, still a fine Pokemon to collect in one’s Pokedex.
Bronzor (level 14) is here to battle!

It had been certainly an adventurous diversion but as time went on, she realised there was perhaps no other humans in the vicinity. The only thing that there was plenty of was Pokémon. Before she could move forth with any real progress, the sudden glint of light off in the distance caught her eye. "Hm? That's odd. It seems like... Something reflective almost. As if a mirror were reflecting the light." Stopping in her tracks, the light glared off into her eyes before slipping off onto Gex's visage. Thankfully wearing shades, he simply adjusted them as the brightness intensified. Giggling a little as she turned to see Gex withstanding the light's reflection, Remi couldn't help but comment. "So Gex, it seems you came prepared for this."
Letting out a small grunt, it seemed as if whilst the two were conversing, Malice had wandered off a bit closer to the source of the reflection. Inquisitive but nervous she hesitantly approached before jumping back with fright when she realised the reflective surface was that of a Bronzor. Sensing the danger of her team mates, Ruto summoned herself from the Pokeball on Remi's belt holster and appeared to stand guard. Dispersing her body into a pool of water, she went surging forward and unleashed a warning surf attack. "Oh my! What's happened?!" Called out Remi as she turned to see the sudden battle unfolding before them. She had only looked away for a few seconds. Shrugging, it appears Gex hadn't caught the events leading up to the skirmish.

The silent ghost had approached so careful and quietly the bronzor hadn't noticed, it's back turned to the approaching party. A spin of its disk-like body seemed to set off the scaredy cat. The shriek startled Bronzor, its circular yellow eyes staring wide and bulging at the frightened ghost. The unrelenting gaze locked onto the strange pokémon but before much could be done to investigate a flash flood raged into the cave. The tidal wave came up so suddenly Bronzor had barely the time to turn and look at the crashing blue water before it swept the steel pokémon up and thrashed his hardened body against the rocks. Soon it died down, leaving Bronzor in quite a bit of pain. It groaned mechanically, sliding from the rock it'd been washed up on and planted into the ground. Turning its big yellow orbs it spotted a strange blue pokémon now. Bewildered and unable to think of what to do, Bronzor released all of its own confusion into the air. An odd shrieking echo vibrated into the cave as Bronzor's eyes lit up, locking onto Ruto's own. Bronzor | Level 14 | HP: 1% (1/44) Status: Bamboozled Bronzor passed its Confusion off in a Ray! VS Ruto | Level 16 | Water Absorb HP: 100% (72/72) Status: Confused Ruto used Surf! Critical Hit!

Gathering her thoughts still as Ruto dispersed her body into the sudden wave of water that had began sweeping the caves, Remi was at a complete loss. Despite all the progress she had made, she was ultimately still a rookie trainer. "I guess we were jumped? There's so much going on in these caves..." Having pieced together a part of it, all she could do at this point was watch as the overpowering wave crashed violently into the odd cave dweller which had encountered them. Surging along a length of the cave passageway, the tidal wave came to an end as it splashed against a wall, resulting in an echoing clang from the metallic body of the assailant.
With the body of water pooling back together to stabilise back into Ruto's form, the Vaporeon turned to look at Remi and Gex as they neared closer. A demure, innocent look on her face it would fool no one as there could be no other possible explanation for a sudden torrent of water to appear like that. "Ruto! What was that all about? Hm?" Moving over closer to Ruto, it seemed as if the protector of Blue Moon Falls realised her attack had not completely disarmed the mysterious Pokemon, meaning a retaliatory manoeuvre was likely. Pouncing forward, the Vaporeon had leapt in the way of the confuse ray at the exact moment the flash was triggered. Shielding herself as did Gex, Remi realised Ruto's deed. "Oh goodness, she took the full brunt of that... We need to intervene. Oooh...!" Fumbling with her bag, she pulled out a Pokeball, hoping to decisively end this. Chucking it forward into the depths of the darkness, it was worth a shot.

Ruto, true to the Eevee family, had some great stats. One of which boasted a decent special attack, which seemed to be why Bronzor was on the brink of comatose. The little magnet was barely levitating, tired from the damage that it had taken from the water dog. Ruto, like most Vaporeon, was quiet and eloquent in battle. She waited for Remi to make her next plan of action, whether that be executing the steel Pokemon or capturing it. The water Pokemon sat idly by, content in the dank cave. She wagged her tail, pleased to be in battle once more.
Bronzor could barely keep its metallic eyes open, bruised up from the scuffs of battle with the Vaporeon. Remi pulled out a red ball, Bronzor looked curiously at the device. What was it for? Furthermore, why was she taking it out now? The trainer flung the ball towards the psychic Pokemon and waited for the conclusion. It wiggled on the cold, hard ground. Bonzor could barely fight anymore, with a beep, its fate was sealed. Ruto wagged her tail, excited that another foe had been defeated by battle. Ruto gained 2 levels! Ruto gained +2 happiness! As the Pokeball let out a resonating chime that echoed throughout the cave maze, Remi breathed a sigh of relief. "Goodness! To think something crept up on us like this. We must be pretty deep into these caves for Pokémon to be so brash about closing in on us. I suppose we should be more careful." Turning to Ruto and bowing her head, Remi was indebted the watchful Pokémon was there for them. "Thank you Ruto, i'm ever so grateful. You've been such a big help since joining us. I do wonder why you left that beautiful waterfall though." Flicking her mermaid like tail from side to side, the Vaporeon appeared to smile to herself amusedly. Trotting back over to Remi's side, the Pokémon returned to the confines of it's Pokeball voluntarily.
"Oh! Right. We obtained that Pokémon." Fetching the red and white sphere, she pocketed it away, deciding it would be a better idea to review over it not in the dank clutches of the cave. "I wouldn't like to go much deeper. We've not seen a soul here. Let's try and retrace our steps." Nodding her head as Gex gave a curt nod of his own, the two turned around, only to be met with multiple forks. "Oh... I could've sworn we came from that direction..." She said, her voice faltering in confidence. "Umm..." A little dicey, her mind kept flashing back to that ordeal in her youth when she was lost in the Goldenrod underground. She had been on her own and it was something she had never quite forgotten. Shaking her head determinedly, she reassured herself. "No, my friends are here with me." Muttering under her breath as if chanting the words over and over, she seemed to steel herself with some confidence.
"Let's try going this way. It's disconcerting being here but with you at my side, we'll be fine." Forcing a smile, Gex and Malice looked to one another as they followed in her trail. Perhaps leaving a trail of crumbs would've meant they could recall their path and exit that much quicker. "Hopefully we'll find a trainer or someone. I'm sure we can't be the only ones down here." Remi talked out loud nervously as if trying to rationalise things.

It wasn't called the Dark Cave for nothing. A confusing blackness forever watching at the reaches of the light Remi and her team generated. Snakes of black flickering as the source passed over tumbles of rock and curves of wall and ledge. Occasionally a flutter of wing beat echoed into the chambers the water trainer traversed; the only sounds signaling she and her pokémon weren't the only ones in the black expanse. However, soon came another noise. It sounded like the grinding of rock against a similarly hard surface. The noise was intermittent for a short time, but the uneven intervals and varying magnitudes shifted into loud bangs from ahead. Chips of rock could be heard bouncing on the cavern floor as the bashing continued. As Remi and co. continued their approach little steps could be heard leading up to some of the rocky crackles. But where was it coming from..? The echoing nature of the cave made it hard to figure out exactly where this new disturbance originated. All she could tell was it was getting closer. CRACK!!!
From but a few steps ahead atop a natural plateau accessible from another section of the cave a large hunk of rubble came tumbling down the side and across Remi's path. Within a moment the light would catch an obscenely bright surface from where the crumbling rock had fallen from. Much line the sheen of the bronzor but this one was white, and large blue eyes stared down at the group. The wild pokémon squeaked excitedly, reeling up on its hind legs then bashing its steely head down on the remainder of the stone that had been jutting out of the otherwise relatively flat surface above. With the way now clear the little iron pokémon slid itself down to Remi's level. A wild Aron (Lv 10) appeared! Will Remi accept it's challenge or flee?

Stopping dead in her tracks for what felt like the umpteenth time, a peculiar noise had caused her to halt. Trying to heighten her senses to pinpoint where exactly it was coming from, she had to quickly hush Gex as he shuffled about next to her as he tried to see what the hold up was about. "Shhh! Do you hear that...?" Keeping an ear out, it almost felt like parts of the cave itself were chipping off, as if something was scraping along, getting nearer and nearer to their position. "It's almost as if... Aiiiyeeeeeeee!"
Startled by the almighty crash, Remi jumped backwards and focused in on the source of the noise. The glow of light from Malice's necklace craned up and it seemed a new Pokemon had made itself known. Watching as it slid down to their level, Remi squinted in the gloomy, murky darkness but was unable to fully appreciate exactly what it was. "We really seem to be attracting a lot of Pokemon today-Oh?" Caught off guard, it seemed 2D had summoned himself forward. Standing proud, the Pokemon acted as a sort of barrier between the new arrival and Remi's lot. Did this Wynaut have some unfinished business with the Aron? It was hard to tell but it looked ready to counter anything the Aron would try.

The Aron of the Dark Cave were known to be fond of battles and as Wynuat were not a very common Pokemon there Aron always treasured getting to battle one though Wynaut were quite a tricky Pokemon to defeat as their counter attack would double any physical attack used against them for double the damage. Despite this concern Aron had no intention of trying anything but a physical attack as it extended it's claws. The steel type had not gained enough experience to learn it was making a huge mistake as it rushed forward thinking it was doing everything right. It could not be more wrong however as it's claws slashed across 2D. The small steel type was about to learn the error of it's ways and it would surely not forgot the lesson anytime soon. Though 2D could not block the attack by putting up it's counter it was able to turn Aron's strength against it, the claws which had just slashed across his body shattered like glass after the impact followed by a powerful force of energy sending the young Aron into a nearby wall. The heavy weight of Aron caused a huge hole to form where it impacted from the blast as Aron fell to the floor in great pain. Slowly getting up from it's painful endeavor the armor surrounding it's body had gained a huge dent from the impact. Not only that but 2D barely looked like Metal Claw had done any real damage. Things were not looking too good for Aron but it was not over yet. Knowing another frontal assault would be a very risky move Aron had to come up with an alternate way to attack and fast. Another counter recoil would easily be enough to knock it out and Aron was desperate to prevent a defeat at the hands of a Pokemon that could not even attack on it's own but it would have to wait until the next round to see what it's options would be. Aron |Level 10 | HP: 39% (13/33) Status: Normal Aron used Metal Claw! VS 2D | Level 15 | HP: 82% (48/58) Status: Normal 2D used Counter
