A warm smile touched the golden-haired beauty face as she exited the Union Cave and make her way onto the route that would lead her into Azalea Town. She closed her gleaming, amber eyes for a few seconds as she inhale the crisp air dancing around her body. It was quite clear that Aphrodite felt quite relieved to have made it outside of the cave. "Thank goodness I made it out of there. Now, I can make my way to the Pokemon Center take a quick rest and go back to training my Pokemon again. I need to make sure that my Pokemon are in tip-top shape before challenging the next gym." She spoke in a soft voice as she slowly started to make her way through the route and heading towards the Pokemon Center. Along the way, she could hear the soft sound of winds fluttering around her head. The golden-haired beauty quickly glanced up towards the clear, azure skies and soon noticed a group of Wild Butterfree fluttering over her. A soft smile touched her lips as she stared at the graceful, butterfly-like Pokemon. It was definitely a beautiful sight to behold.
Once the Butterfree were out of sight, Aphrodite would turn her attention back towards the route that would leave her towards the Pokemon Center. Luckily, she was not too far from the Pokemon Center. She could notice the unique, red roof building right up ahead of her. "Perfect. I'm almost there." She spoke softly as she started to put a little more pep into her steps. A couple of minutes later, Aphrodite found herself standing in front of the entrance of the Pokemon Center. She entered the Pokemon Center was quickly welcomed by the sweet Nurse Joy and her little helper. "Hi Nurse Joy!" She greeted the friendly nurse as she walked over towards the counter and carefully handing over her Poke Balls that contained her loyal team members. While Nurse Joy healed her Pokemon, Aphrodite would make a quick change into something a little more comfortable for the summer. A brightly colored summer dress and a pair of stylish sandals to compliment the simple, but stunning outfit. After she had changed into her new clothes, she would make her way back over to obtain her Pokemon from Nurse Joy. "Thank you so much Nurse Joy!" She smiled as she took her Poke Balls and headed over the small computer in the corner. "Let's see here. I think I want to do a little more training with Dior. So, I'm going to exchange Meli out for her." She stated, placing the Cutiefly into her storage system then withdrawing her Mawile.
Now that she had healed her Pokemon, changed her clothes and made a quick change to her team, Aphrodite was more than ready to undergo a little more training. She returned back to the previous route just outside of Azalea Town and Union Cave. "This looks like a good place to do a little bit of training, what do you think Dior?" She asked the Mawile standing beside her. The Mawile flashed her trainer a small smile before nodding her head in agreement. "Okay! Let's get started then, shall we!" She added as she stepped inside of the tall grass in search of Wild Pokemon.

It was gorgeous out, the rain having ceased hours earlier while the beauty trekked the cavern path. It left the entire area blooming with sparkling colors, vibrant and deep. The trunks of trees had soaked into a darker hue making for an energetic contrast to the glistening vegetation sporting painterly qualities. It was near picturesque. A wild garden vivid in color and liveliness that made the breath of fresh air stuffy in comparison. All manner of wild pokémon could be seen flocking around, scampering about, or heard rustling in the bushes. As Aphrodite and her companion entered the thicker parts of the wild terrain they'd find themselves partaking in the damp sheen that brushed off of the tall blades. But it was a soft, pleasantly cool touch as the warm sun graced them from above. But that wasn't all that was above them. Very near up ahead of the duo thud sounded. One of the trees shook, and from atop a branch an unattended berry rolled off to the ground. It must have been left there by a bird or something that had gotten chased off earlier. Now the berry was in the jaws of another hungry critter. Approaching the munching pokémon the golden haired trainer would find her eyes met with a spotty hide of dreamy blue. With each joyful wriggle and lurch as the nidoran♀ chomped away her various blue hues reflected a harmonious ocean wave. Soon, though, the wild pokémon caught on to her visitors. She didn't make any aggressive move, but did hide the remainder of her berry.  Nidoran♀ (LV 10) has been found! Select a pokémon for battle |

It would not be long before Aphrodite and Dior encountered their first Wild Pokemon on the new route. Aphrodite's warm amber eyes quickly spotted a small spotty-hide and blue Pokemon. The Nidoran kind of reminded her of some sort of mutant rat or rabbit-like Pokemon. It was for from being a Fairy-type Pokemon. However, it was still a rather cute Pokemon. "Looks like our first encounter is a Nidoran. This will be a perfect battle to get you all warmed up, Dior!" Aphrodite stated, glancing down at the Steel/Fairy-type Pokemon standing beside her. A sinister smile curved against Dior's mouth as she nodded her head in agreement.
"Dior, let's start off this battle with a Power-Up Punch then follow up with one more!" She commanded her Pokemon. Dior nodded her head in response as her two fists started to glow a brilliant white hue. The Mawile would then rushed towards her opponent, extending her right fist then following up with her left fist. Dior was more than eager to take out her opponent. After all, it had been a while since she has been even an opportunity to battle alongside her trainer again. She desired nothing more than to become stronger for Aphrodite.

The female Nidoran was just trying to enjoy her berry without getting into any trouble but as Dior rushed towards her trouble had found her. The rabbit could not make out exactly what the strange looking creature was planning until Dior landed a punch right on her nose. She squeaked in pain as she frantically tried to gain some distance from her foe. She quickly turned around and donkey kicked Dior in the face twice before running towards a nearby bush hoping to escape. Dior was quick to recover however and managed to cut her off from the planned escape route. Nidoran did not have many options by now and to make things worse Dior charged at her again. She was too tired from running to avoid the attack as Dior scored a painful hit on her chest. A louder squeak bellowed from the rabbits mouth as she tried to fight off the pain. As she had limited options to protect herself and double kick bought her a few seconds of peace she decided to try it again. Lifting her legs up as Dior recovered from the recoil of her punch Nidoran kicked the poor steel and fairy type as hard as she could. Though it hurt Dior was easily able to recover quickly yet again as Nidoran grew more desperate by the moment. She had not lost yet but things were not looking very good. Dior on the other hand could feel her strength growing with every punch. She might not win the battle quickly, however as she wanted to grow stronger anyways a resilient foe might just help her achieve that goal. Wild Pokemon Battle

Dior's graceful movements and the power of fists making contact with the Wild Nidoran's body caused the opposite was quickly pushed back back into a corner. Aphrodite had predicted that her Mawile would be able to make quick work out of defeating the Nidoran. However, the small, toxic rabbit-like Pokemon seem to have been rather sturdy. A slight frown touched Aphrodite's fair face as she watched the Nidoran retaliate with a fury of kicks. A couple of grunts escaped from Dior's mouth as she attempted to shield her docile face from the raging kicks by holding up her arms in front of her face. The powerful kicks managed to push Dior's steel body back a couple of times, but she never loss her balance. The Mawile was able to recover quite quickly from her opponent's attack. A cold cry escaped from Dior's mouth as she stared deeply into the Nidoran's eyes. The Steel/Fairy-type Pokemon could feel her strength increasing even more and her desire to kick this toxic rodent's butt grew, too. This is no stopping that this battle would stop now. At least, not until Dior managed to defeat her opponent.
"Quick Dior, follow up with Bite!" The golden-haired beauty commanded her Pokemon. Dior swiftly nodded her head and started rushing towards the Nidoran. She would take a quick leap into the air and perform a stunning twirl then swinging her massive jaws towards the Nidoran. The Mawile's special jaws hoping to dig deep into the Nidoran's skin with little to no mercy.

Nidoran was quite fortunate to have lasted through the initial onslaught as Dior had a number of advantages over her. The rabbit could not even outrun her foe leaving her in a rough spot. She had hoped for some kind of miracle to save her from facing another round with her strange looking foe but it was more than apparent as Dior made her move that any hope of escaping another beating were dashed. All the young poison type could do was prepare for another fist to its face. Nidoran did not anticipate Dior's next move however as the steel type leaped and twirled towards her. As Dior closed the gap the jaw on the back of her head opened wide exposing her teeth. The jaw then lashed out at Nidoran sinking its teeth into her front legs preventing her escape. The rabbit squirmed desperately trying to break free however Dior only bit down harder after each attempt. Before long the pain grew to such unbeatable levels that Nidoran blacked out and Dior released her. The huge puncture wounds and bruises on her legs were quite a reminder of how lucky she was to be alive. As she came to she used her back legs to crawl away from Dior while tucking her tail between her legs, terrified that any attempt of showing strength towards Dior would anger the steel type. Knowing by all rights she should be dead, Nidoran finally reached a few nearby bushes and jumped in very thankful to be alive. Dior was ver pleased with her work as she felt her strength increase a bit. The Nidoran was hardly a threat to her but the battle had made her a little stronger. Aurora also became a little stronger as her experience share kicked in. Wild Pokemon Battle

She is trying to learn Payback but she already knows 4 moves. Would you like for her to forget a move so she can learn Payback? |

Dior landed her last attack and it managed to finish off the Nidoran. It was quite clear that the poor little poison-type would be traumatized for quite a while after facing off against the Steel/Fairy-type. A mischievous chuckle escaped from Dior's mouth as she watched the Nidoran crawl away in a weak-manner and then managing to hide behind a bush. "You know Dior...I almost forgot just how serious you take battling at times." The golden-haired beauty stated in a soft tone. She still felt a little bad about how fearful the Nidoran seem to have been of her Pokemon. However, Aphrodite was still proud that her Pokemon had won the battle. "I know that you're not going to slow down until you defeat a couple of more Pokemon. So, I guess we might as well look for our next opponent, huh?" She asked, glancing down at the Mawile. Although, she was not a huge fan of her Mawile's aggressive behavior. Aphrodite knew that her Pokemon would not calm down until you happen to tire herself out through battling even stronger opponents. Dior nodded her head as she scanned over her surroundings with her cold eyes. The Steel/Fairy-type was hoping to find her next victim pretty soon, because she wanted to grow even stronger for herself and for her trainer. "Just maybe we will be lucky and find a new fairy friend roaming around here somewhere. That would be amazing." Aphrodite stated as she slowly started moving around the area for a few seconds before coming to halt after hearing noise coming from a rustling bush.

Dior did not have to wait long for a new foe to appear as a Mankey stepped out of the rustling bush. The money had seen what Dior had done to Nidoran and it wanted to teach her a few lessons. The Mankey had no idea what it was getting itself into or for that matter Dior being part fairy type but none of that mattered. Mankey had been in some tough fights in its day and Dior did not look very tough to it. Having faced Poochyena daily Mankey was not intimidated by the mouth on the back of her head though it was still smart enough to stay out of biting range to stay safe. It could not help but wonder what to make of Dior even with its experience battling as it was not too common for Mawile to show up so close to Azalea. Mankey still had to take the risk of fighting an unknown foe as reckless as it was. Dior could not be allowed to torture Pokemon so close to Mankey's home without being punished and the fighting type had no quarrel with a show of force as it took up a position in front of Dior ready to take advantage of its hands to chop some sense into the unknown troublemaker. A few other Pokemon watched from behind the bushes as the battle was about to start. They feared if Mankey failed they would all become victims to the monster before them like the poor Nidoran. It was a fate none of them wanted but only the outcome of the battle would decide their fate.  A wild Mankey(Level 10) demands a battle! Please select a Pokemon. OOC: That is quite alright. I know all too well how it feels to hit writer's block and just not be able to come up with something. |

Within a few seconds, a Wild Mawile revealed itself from behind the rustling bush. The fighting-type Pokemon did not waste a second jumping into it's battle stance. A mischievous smirk curved against Dior's mouth again as she stared into the Mankey's eyes. The Mankey seem to have a lot of guts, considering the fact that it was challenging a part fairy-type Pokemon to a battle. "We should be more at a advantage this time. Dior, let's start with Fairy Wind!" She commanded the Mawile. Dior's eyes quickly started to glow a deep magenta hue as she summoned a sparkling wind. The Fairy Wind would dance around her body for a few times before rushing towards the Mankey, hoping to knock it back a bit. "Gorgeous Dior! Keep up that Fairy Wind!" She encouraged her Pokemon. She knew that Dior did not like to use "pretty" moves so much unlike Aphrodite's other Pokemon. Dior preferred to use moves that would show off her physical strengths instead. However, she cared out her trainer's order anyway, because she was a loyal and faithful warrior of steel until the end.

Mankey had been hoping to teach Dior a painful lesson about abusing Pokemon but unfortunately she was a bit faster than Mankey had planned for. Dior summoned a gust of wind infused with the calming magic of faries sending the wind towards Mankey. The fighting type began to lose focus as the soothing magic sapped its energy barely leaving it standing as the wind died down. The fighting type was absolutely exhausted as it got within striking distance of Dior. It was in no real shape to pick a fight here but as tired as it was Mankey had to try and fight back. Using all of its might Mankey lifted a hand above its head and flattened it aligning the fingers vertically above Dior's head. Mankey made a chopping motion with the hand scoring a critical hit as the hand slammed into her head. The impact left her a bit dazed but still very much in control of the battle as the onlooking Pokemon began to flee. None of them doubted the outcome of the battle now as even Mankey's best efforts were not enough to stop her and they were not brave enough to face her. Mankey's only real hope was that either Dior would make a quick final blow or hope her trainer would take pity and capture it instead though neither option was a great outcome for Mankey. Dior let out a low growl as she endured the pain from the critical hit that her opponent had just landed on her. Luckily, the attack didn't do too much damage to her hardy body even though it was a critical hit. "Shake it off, Dior! Your opponent is quite weaken. We should be able to finish this off with one more move." Aphrodite encouraged her Pokemon. Dior nodded her head at her trainer's words then turned her attention back towards the Mankey. The pig-monkey Pokemon would definitely pay for hitting her on her precious head. "Dior, Fairy Wind once more!" Aphrodite commanded her Pokemon. A sinister smirk curved against Dior's mouth as she summon another summon another gorgeous gust of wind to attack her opponent.

The brave Mankey knew after the pitiful performance that it deserved no mercy. It had made a fool of itself in this battle and a harsh defeat might serve as inspiration to try harder next time. Though it still prayed Aphrodite would show it mercy the trainers words only cemented the fate it knew was coming. The fighting type Pokemon had no choice other than accepting the merciless end to a lopsided battle. Dior did not pity Mankey at all after the painful hit she had endured. This next attack would make sure Mankey paid a very dear price for it's mistakes. She summoned a magical wind around her fully in control of it's direction waiting for a good time to strike. As Mankey tried to walk towards her she unleashed the wind sending Mankey flying into a tree. The fighting type Pokemon had been through enough as it blacked out. Dior was still so angry at the monkey that she wanted to attack again until the small Pokemon woke up and kissed her feet begging for mercy. She had no doubts about it learning quite an important lesson as she spared it. As Mankey ran off Dior turned to Aphrodite to see what was next. Dior fought well and gained 1 levels. She is now level 16. She also gained 1 happiness and she has +2 happiness overall. Aurora gained 1 level thanks to her Experience Share. She is now level 19. |

Dior quickly snatched her feet away from the Mankey and released a low, warning growl. How dare such a weak Pokemon attempt to kiss her feet, such a weak Pokemon like itself did not even deserve be around in her present. The Mankey was quite luckily that Dior did not decide to finish him off for good. "You're quite feisty today. I guess that's mostly my fought for keeping you stored away for so long and not taking you out to train you, huh?" Aphrodite stated softly as she knelled down to get a little closer to Dior's level. The Mawile's facial impression quickly started to soften as she locked eyes with the golden-haired beauty, who she had grown to love as her trainer. "Well, you've participated in a couple of battles now. Should we go back to the Pokemon Center and rest up a bit?" She asked the Steel/Fairy Pokemon. Dior shook her head. "Of course, you want to fight a little more, huh? I definitely should have known that about you." Aphrodite giggled a bit as she stood back up onto her feet. "Very well, let's keep looking around for another fight. Maybe this time we will find a Pokemon worth capturing or possibly even a strong trainer to battle against for some more experience." She added as she started walking a little further along the route.

As Aphrodite continued her walk down the route, a few Pokemon would scamper along the path in front of her - a pair of Nidorans and one Poochyena, faces bearing identical looks of suffering. But theirs was not a physical ailment, as a faint noise could be heard over the light rustling of leaves... was that singing? The noise moved closer, and it was indeed someone singing, loudly in fact. And horribly off-key. Well, that would definitely explain why those Pokemon had looked so pained. The singer, definitely a man, was belting out a tune about traveling up the mountains, and despite his inability to carry a tune, he was singing very cheerfully. Eventually he finally appeared on the path Aphrodite was walking down, revealing himself to be a Hiker, an ubiquitous sight near caves.
Rotund but not overly chubby, the hiker scratched his scruffy beard as he concluded his song and chuckled to himself as a few Hoppip squeaked in protest from a nearby tree before launching themselves away. "Hahaha! No appreciation for the classics!" he guffawed, giving his belly a light slap. Eyes crinkling with obvious amusement, the man turned and spotted Aphrodite approaching, a warm smile directed her way as he held up a hand. "Howdy there! What's a lovely young lady such as yourself doing out in the middle of this kinda place?" he said, doing a double take as he spotted Dior next to Aphrodite. "Oh I see, answering my own question. A trainer are ya? That's a mighty fine thing to be!" Truthfully he'd not seen a Pokemon like Mawile before, but he was curious enough to ponder a request of his new company.
His expression turned speculative, and one big paw of a hand went to rest on the strap of his backpack, where two Poke Balls were clipped to. "Name's Anthony. A hiker extraordinaire, and occasional Pokemon trainer. Seeing you out here with your own Pokemon, well... if it's not too forwards, I'd like to ask for a battle. If you're so inclined, young miss," Anthony said, unclipping one of his Poke Balls to send forth a Geodude. The Rock-type took one look at Dior and punched his big hands together, clearly spoiling for a good fight after being cooped up for so long. Anthony chuckled at his Pokemon's behaviour, looking hopefully at Aphrodite if she so deigned to honor his spontaneous challenge.

"Whoa!" Aphrodite yelled out in surprise as the group of Wild Pokemon rush out in front of her. The golden-haired beauty could not help, but to noticed the suffering faces of the Wild Pokemon. "Dior, did you see that?" Aphrodite asked her companion. The black and golden fairy-type Pokemon did not pay her trainer an attention at the time, since she was a little too busy chasing after the fleeing Pokemon. "Hey! Dior, stop that!" Aphrodite commanded her Pokemon. The Mawile quickly came to a halt after hearing the seriousness in her trainer's voice. Dior slowly dropped her head and made her way back over to Aphrodite. "Those Pokemon looked petrified about something and I'm not sure if we should be worried, too or not." Aphrodite spoke softly as she turned her attention back towards the direction of where the fleeing Pokemon had appeared from a few seconds ago, her golden eyes attempting to identify any sort of danger that may be awaiting them further down the route. However, her concentration was broken once heard the jarring sound of someone attempting to sing echoing through the mountains. "I think we just found out what's causing those Pokemon to panic. This sound is so awful!" Aphrodite shouted over the unpleasant song as she used her dainty hands to protect her ears. Luckily, the bad tune did not seem to phase Dior, too much.
A few seconds later, the horrible tune soon died off and Aphrodite was able to uncover her lips. A sigh of relief escaped from her mouth as she started to make her way up the route again. "Thank goodness that's over with now." She stated under her breath. A few feet away from her, her golden eyes would notice an older man up again. He seem to have been laughing about how people did not seem to enjoy classics anymore. So, he was the guy, who was responsible for that horrible singing. There was a slightly annoyed facial expression on Aphrodite's face at first. However, she soon managed to soften her fair face with a warm smile once the hiker had acknowledge her presence. "Ah yeah. I'm a Pokemon trainer. I'm actually out here doing a little bit of training with my Mawile. I'm preparing to take on the Gym leader pretty soon and this little lady right here is going to help me win that badge." She stated with a confident smile. Meanwhile, Dior was busy side-eyeing the rather large man.
A small smirk soon curved against both Aphrodite and Dior's face as the hiker challenged them to a Pokemon battle. "I would be more than happy to take you on in a battle Anthony. I'm Aphrodite an aspiring fairy-type Specialist. I can't wait to show your how beautiful and powerful fairy-types can be!" She smiled at him. She would then turn her attention towards Dior, who had already taken it upon herself to step out onto the battlefield. "A Geodude, huh? This should be an easy win for you, Dior. Let's start off with Power-Up Punch!" Aphrodite commanded her Pokemon. Dior nodded her head before rushing towards the Geodude with her glowing hands, hoping to strike it twice with her powerful fists of steel.
Aphrodite has accepted the challenge! Dior used Power-Up Punch x2. Running shoes are exhausted now.
