The Duskull's wailing was the scariest part of its display and even that was a pitiful attempt. Mania could hardly contain the frustration from the time lost to the theatrics buy Tyler saw it as a great chance to mock the spirit. " If that display had any intention of scaring me I have some unfortunate news, a Magikarp splashing in a puddle of ignited napalm in the middle of a desert is a million times more frightening than your show. Hell this Chikorita is twice as scary just as it breathes." Even as the smell of the swamp made his eyes water Tyler found it hard to stop insulting their ghostly foe.

" You are a disgraceful excuse of a ghost if you think there is any part of you is scary. I will make sure you learn exactly what true fear is by the end of this battle. I get quite a kick from Schadenfreude and you, my pain in the rear are about to learn how much it sucks to be on the receiving end of my Pokemon." Mania stepped up towards the ghost with a huge grin, she had nothing to fear at this point as the spirits had been cannon fodder for her. Even so it was her turn to mock the spirit. Unlike Tyler she could take advantage of her claws to increase the fearfulness of her threats to the spirit.

" You see these claws here? They will tear you into paste as I sap every ounce of power held in your pathetic body. You are the last obstacle on the way to our first objective and I will not hold back. You shall suffer unimaginably for your arrogance. I am done putting up with these childish games, I can already fell myself tearing you apart. Enough talk it is time for action." Mania extended her claws as she ran towards the ghost type Pokemon ready to go all out, Tyler watched as she got within a few feet before issuing her an order.

" Mania use all of your strength, show this spirit why Zoroark are such respected Pokemon. Use Night Slash!" With her orders received Mania was ready to unleash everything she had as her opponent looked right at her. She paused a moment to give the spirit a chance to take in how outclassed it really was, after the brief pause she started to attack the spirit with her claws as the black aura once again surrounded them.

Completely put out that it's attempts to spook had failed so utterly, Duskull settled for an epic pout, which was rather impressive for something that didn't really have much of a face to speak of. Tyler's insults made it glower in his direction; not only did it totally flop in the scariness department, but now it was being so rudely verbally abused? Flailing its arms again, Duskull let out a furious noise, indignation temporarily drowning out any apprehension it had about Mania's presence. When the Zoroark spoke, however, the ghost paused in its little tantrum to watch her with a growing sense of dread. Quite a day on the emotional spectrum for this unsuspecting spook. Until Duskull decided this was enough, thank you, and continued its tantrum in Mania's face.

Snout wrinkling with distaste for this arrogant, and now mildly annoying, roadblock, the Dark-type lifted her claws up in a show of what was to come. Duskull could hardly ignore this, and began backing up hastily, but Mania gave it no quarter. Lunging after it, the Zoroark swiped out, the dark aura surrounding her claws giving her the ability to rend the Duskull's normally incorporeal body. Deciding to go out like it had arrive, the spectre gave its best loud, keening wail before it was swept back into the fog, almost as if it hadn't been there at all. Mania rubbed her ears with a disgusted scowl, the horrible ringing the only thing to actually prove Duskull's brief existence.
