The cheeky spirit thought that it could push Tyler's buttons all it wanted but it was very wrong on that assumption. The Gastly had kept him waiting far too long and he was in no mood for it's games. Like the rest of the spirits it was nothing more than a distraction to keep him from his goal but thankfully this was the last one stopping him from reaching the shrine. " You spirits all thought you were being cute didn't you? This who elaborate prank you are trying to pull shall end soon enough and then I can claim this place for the glory of Team Rocket. Once we have this forest in our possession I will be sure to cover your grave in Mania's droppings as a fitting reminder of all the crap you have put me through."

Mania was more than ready to put her claws through the Gastly like a dagger entering a victims heart to prove a point herself as these spirits had not proven worthy of her time. Every single spirit had been so easy to handle that it was not even fun for her to destroy them anymore. She would be glad to reach the shrine after facing so many ghost types who failed to impress her. " Get you last laugh out now as I will not hold back on you. Like the others you too shall fall victim to my power and then we can reach the shrine to send you all back to hell where you belong."  As she got ready to strike the young Chikorita looked at her and was in awe that Mania was notntired at all after all these battles. Chikorita knew she would have been exhausted after just one.

As she tried to keep her eyes open Tyler looked down at her just thinking of how much money he could make from her eggs once she was safe from the curse. " Enjoying the show little one? Good because your admission is growing by the second the harder Mania works. As soon as your are safe you will start paying back your debt." As he looked up at Mania he was ready to end this whole charade and so was she as she began running towards Gastly with her claws ready to strike. " Mania use Night Slash on this Gastly. Make it pay with bllod for every step we had to take. We will own this forest once you dispose of it."

The gastly's eyes disappeared into faint colored slits, its mouth opening wide to laugh back at the human's threats. It was an unsettling hollow echo, though with clear hints of a mocking jitter. The gaseous pokémon rolled back and forth in the mists, listening with its giant unblinking eyes looking back in a relentless stare. Its smug grin forever slashed across its ethereal face.

Looking menacing was about all the spirit got to do unfortunately; for it. Mania wasn't about to fall back on her word, raising a set of claws to the air with a menacing smile. Gastly licked its non-existent lips as it waited, unconcerned about the dark werewolf. A mistake. In the blink of an eye Mania was washing the area in a shade of black. Lunging forward with blinding speed, talons enveloped in a coat of deepest ebony, she tore the spirit's very essence asunder with one fell swoop. There was a second of horror glossed on the Gastly's eyes before it all shifted back into a twisted smile. It let out half a laugh before dispersing entirely into the atmosphere.
