Appearance: Unlike most girls her age; Norah seems pretty happy with the way she looks and doesn't care much for make-up. For a brief period, she had tried it, but then came to the conclusion that it was taking up too much of her time and money. Feeling secure in her body and about the way she looks, also gives her a certain glow, altough she would never brag or mention it. She has a slim posture but maintains it by working out frequently. Also, she knows if that if she would stop working out, the pounds would be adding on. Mainly because she likes to eat so much. Her hair has a very natural glow, as she uses only natural products and never let any heating devices come near it. Usually, Norah puts her hair up half in a bun and the rest down, as shown in the picture. Except on warm days, this is when she just puts up all her hair in a messy bun.
Although make-up isn't really her thing, fashion is. She loves shopping around and has a wide taste in clothing. She usually wears some oversized sweater or shirt, with some shorts or a skirt. Regular jeans is something she usually avoids. Instead she's more into dresses and skirts. Her outfits are usually styled with some basic jewellery, nothing to over the top. One key accessory is a golden necklace that wears the weddingrings from her grandparents.
Personality: Norah is a very curious person. She always wants to know how things work and why things are the way they are. She comes from a family of analysts and researchers, which is where she got the curiosity from. A lot of the time, her curiosity brings her into trouble. Also partially because she can be very naive. Norah likes to see the best in people, but people take advantages of her trustworthy-ness. Yet, she still remains the same and doesn't want to immedeatly assume the worst in people.
Norah was raised in an environment where she was always thought that 'if she would work hard enough, you will get there eventually'. This is what motivates her, knowing that she could achieve anything is she would put the work in. She is very determined and can switch her loving personality off when she has to go into battle. Especially in her trainings she knows that both her Pokémon and herself need to train hard if they want to become stronger.
History: Norah grew up with her loving parents and two older siblings (brother and sister). Both her siblings went on to travel the world and challenge the Pokémon League. Instead of also going on a journey, Norah stayed home. Her parents were breeders and researchers together with her grandparents. They had a small breeding center in Aspertia City where they were well known by the local folks. They didn't had much desire to be globally known, but they had just the right amount of people coming by to start building something. Norah always stuck around, she helped her family taking care of Pokémon and doing research on Pokémon they had never seen. Her siblings would send any Pokémon their way if they weren't using them, which was a great opportunity for Norah to meet even more Pokémon.
When Norah was 16 years old, her grandparents passed away. First, her grandfather died of old age and a weak hear. Soon followed by her grandmother that couldn't bear the loss of the love of her life. It was then that the Day Care and Research centre slowly fell apart. It was initially set up by her grandparents and appearently her parents found their passion elsewhere. When they closed the centre, it was time for Norah to decide what she wanted to do. Beating the Pokémon League was never something she had aspired to do. This was always something her siblings couldn't stop talking about. Being part of the research community was something Norah absolutely loved. She wanted to know more about Pokémon, and not just about the ones living in the Unova region. There was so much more to see.
Starting her own Research lab is something that has been on her mind for a while, but she knows the road is long. She decided that the best way for her to start this journey, would be to challenge the Pokémon League. This way she would have her first purpose in traveling and would encounter so many different people with different Pokémon and fighting styles. There was so much she could learn from them. Now one year later, the day has finally come to start this journey.
Goals: Start her own Research and Day Care centre. She doesn't want to revive the business from her parents and grandparents, she wants to start her own. Before doing so, she wants to travel the world and see as many different Pokémon as possible.
