Andrew promised himself not to allow any further distractions from wild Pokémon until he knew Sylvester was reuniting with the lost birds. Still, it was difficult to focus solely on finding the Farfetch'd with such a magical view surrounding him. He walked at a leisurely pace, giving this area much more attention than the last. His irrational inner fear of being attacked by a serial killer had finally vanished; or at least until the mischievous bird leapt out in front of him.

He let out a small shriek, covering his nose and mouth with his hands and taking a step back.
"*****ing hell," he blurted out, attempting to catch his breath. There was no doubt this was the Pokémon he was searching for. However, he'd been expecting to rescue a lost Pokémon, not something this troublesome.

"Ruffle, let's go!" he called out as he drew the Pikachu's Poké Ball and tossed it above his head. With a flash of light, the mouse appeared between him and Farfetch'd.
"Don't hold back, use Thunderbolt and let's get this thing back to its carer!" he insisted, frowning at the bird with resentment. The hardy Pikachu was happy to oblige and smirked as electricity began to emit from her cheeks.

Farfetch'd was more than ready for a battle as appeared in front of it despite the type disadvantage but Farfetch'd had not accounted for the Pikachu being faster than it was even after getting the jump on Andrew. Before Farfetch'd could get within striking distance the electricity building up in Ruffle's cheeks was expelled towards the bird as it watched in horror. The electricity moved so quickly Farfetch'd could not get out of the way as it was surrounded by the current shocking it without mercy and leaving the lovely aroma of fried duck in the air before falling to the ground. Somehow the bird was able to endure the powerful strike however as it stood up with the help of its leek though it was hardly in any decent shape to fight much longer.

The bird's sheer determination allowed it to strike back with a Cut attack dealing a considerable amount of damage to Ruffle but its only chance of winning the battle fell short as she was able to recover from the strike in far better shape than Farfetch'd was. The troublesome bird had put up quite a fight but in the end it had little hope of victory as Ruffle built up another cheek full of electricity. The duck closed its eyes as the second round of electricity sped towards it scoring another direct hit this time bringing an end to the battle as Farfetch'd was sent flying into a nearby tree. It was in pretty rough shape and the smell of burnt feathers was fairly unpleasant but Andrew had finally apprehended the second of the troublesome Farfetch'd.

With both Farfetch'd secured Andrew now just had to return to Sylvester and he would be able to claim his well earned reward.
