Name: Ash Satoshi Ketchum
Age: 12
Gender: male
Trainer Type: Full-out trainer
Hometown: Pallet Town, Kanto
Appearance:
As you can see, Ash’s outfit is based on his original, tweaked a bit, and based on Red’s FireRed outfit. Ash has very messy jet-black hair, with the spiky hair behind his ears, to boot. For some odd reason, he has those Zs under his eyes. No one knows what they are, right? He is quite a bit pudgy, but his large shirt hides that little gut. Well he is twelve, and has a appetite of an excited child that he is. He’s not even that tall; just about 5’2 like the average twelve-year old.
His red hat is like the original, but the green L symbol has grown bigger. He wears a blue vest with a white zipper across it, and a black t-shirt under the vest, but the vest is open. He has black finger-less gloves with green cuffs, and blue jeans, as well as blue sneakers with black paddings on the toes and heels. He also has a black and green bag. The green bag has a light-green symbol of a poke-ball, half on the head flap, and the other half on the body.
Personality: He's warm-hearted and well-intentioned, but stubborn, rash and amateurish Pokémon Trainer. He's very childish (Though he is 12) who act before thinking. He has a short temper, and would go on a childish tantrum. Much like the child he is, he can get incredibly giddy and excited about something that really interest him to the point he forgets he's in a situation where he needs to be quiet, like in the library. Pokemon, of course, is one thing he can get overly excited for, especially if it's a rare Pokemon. In fact, it seems Pokemon is the only thing he thinks of and know about. Anything else, like social events or culture, he's like he's from another planet, who has no knowledge of earth culture.
For some reason, he has incredible bad luck, but it can somewhat be countered that, again, he acts before thinking. Mostly this happens when he's very angry, or excited, or becomes too over-confident. Ash is still a good-hearted and passionate person, even if he acts with his emotions. However, he has a black-n-white view of the world. Bad guys are bad and must be punished. Good guys are good, and can be great friends; Never one to see beyond the cover. He also has a berserk-button if you call him around the lines of stupid. He REALLY hates that. And he has too much justice in him. He can’t leave a person be in their troubles no matter what.
History: In the small hamlet, Pallet Town, home of the ever famous Professor Oak, there was one boy who had a dream of being a Pokémon Master. Sure, many kids dream of that, but he takes it to the extreme. He don't care if he shouted to the heavens that he will be a master, because he did. But perhaps this dream was sourced by something deeper. Maybe it has something to do with his father, for he was never seen. Or it's just a childish phase that'll get old as he grows older.
Growing up, Ash didn't have many friends. But then again, that's expected in a tiny town. His mother was friends with the ever famous professor, who had a grandson, named Gary Oak for Ash to play with. However, they had a bit of a friendly rivalry about EVERYTHING, and the boy always triumphed against poor little Ashy. The boy also had an older sister, who Ash had a small crush on, even though he hasn't started 'liking' girls. But kids in Pallet had to go to school in Viridian City, which was not too far from the little hamlet. Ash was considered the loser of school, which he was picked on by many, even Gary.
This helped drive his yearning to be the best and prove to all that he was no loser. However, because her husband vanished in his journey, Ash’s mother feared for his safety, and did not let him start his journey at the age of ten. Two years later, Professor Oak managed to convince her to allow him…after constant bickering from the boy. Thus began Ash’s journey…though he picked Johto, because he heard there was a lot of events happening there. And with lots of events, meaning lots of rare Pokemon for him to have and be friends with.
Goals: Again, Ash wants to be a Pokémon Champion, to prove he’s a somebody, and not a nobody.
