Breathing in the humid air the young trader couldn't help but crack a smile. This was very first battle with another trainer. That alone outweighed how Israel the weather was, if nothing else it added to the thrill of the fight.
Listening to his opponent and new friend Mickey the young trainer would give a shake of his head. "No I haven't ! It would sure be awesome to face a trainer like that. Maybe even one day we both could sore high with our avian friends." Senchi said as he watched Mikey give the order for a sand attack.
The attack didn't seem to be effective at all on Neji, this showed Senchi that a sand attack from his own pidgey wouldn't do any good. "Sorry Mickey but don't think that's going to work. Looks like it's going to come down between speed and strength with this sky duel." He was glad the kid had called the attack out first, it was going to be his next move for Neji to make. He had just learned from his opponents mistake.
Senchi looked over at Mikey with a smile on his face. The young trainer was enjoying him self and he hooped his opponent was as well. "Ok Neji keep the high ground! Give Truffles another tackle! Keep him low to the ground. Oh and Mikek this is my first battle with another trainer. I wanted to thank you for that." Saying as he split his attention between the two birds and his new friend.
Thank you so much for that information! I'll definitely look in to it. The link for the bike mode thing didn't work. I'm definitely interested in taking a look at it though.
Mikey grinned, "I have battled tons of trainers!" He boasted without mentioning that they were all his friends and a single starting out trainer who only had a squirtle whom he had lost to. It sounded much better this way if Senchi thought it was something special to battle another trainer. "And I'm going to win this one too!" He added teasingly even though it didn't look so good for Truffles. Mikey wasn't that worried that his pidgey had some catching up to do, he had another pokemon who could take over afterall, and he wasn't so good yet at seeing how tired his pokemon were.
The young boy nodded eagerly as Senchi said this would be decided from speed and strength alone. Hurry Truffles! Don't let Neji get above you, Tackle it down like it did to you! Mikey all but shouted to his pidgey, who shook his feathers and jumped up flapping his wings hard. Truffles was by no mean slow but Neji was a tad faster and the boy's pidgey didn't really get a chance to get proper into the air before Neji made a full body tackle and sent it sprawling to the ground again. Neji followed as he wasn't that experienced again and it required some skill to stay flying after such tackle. Truffles were first up on his feet and tackled his kin to the ground again, as Neji tried to get up on his feet. So much for an epic aerial battle, now both Pidgey's were on the ground.

It was unreal how fast the battle had moved from air to ground. Both birds had taken a beating and Senchi new it was very close to being over. Being hopefully he was making the right calls inthe battle, the entire experience was new to him. Battling one of the wild beast was one thing but making calls against another trainer that was different.
Senchi's eyes widened hearing Mikey's words. How many battles has this kid had ? what's more how many of theme we're victory's? The words that we're just spoken rang in to the young trainer's ears. He couldn't help but wonder if his opponent to was toying with him. "Pidgey! Pid! Pid ! Pid! Pidgey !" Neji cried out trying to get his trainer's attention. The small avian needed guidance in the battle and his human was zoning out.
With a shake of his head Senchi returned from his deep thoughts. "Neji I'm sorry for letting the pressure get to me. Hey Mikey ! I think it's amazing you have all that experience! Win or lose I'm looking forward to everything I'm going to learn from this. Heh" Senchi said gaining his focus back while at the same time returning Mikey's grin.
Analyzing the current situation he decided a head on attack would probably be the best option. He didn't see either one of theme having the strength in returning to the air. The next attack or two would probably be the deciding factor of this matchup. Either way it had been tough and nerve-wracking but in some fashion the boy found he was having the time of his life.
Looking over at Neji then Mikey, the young trainer held his hand up in the air. Ok Neji let's go for a head on attack! Win or lose I'm very proud of you. Now! Go straight in for tackle and through your all in to it!
Mikey remained optimistic even though Truffles was a level lower than Neji and truly believed that luck would still be on his side. Even Truffles refused to give up despite the disadvantage it was in as it held it's head high ready for the next round. The passion both trainers showed made it clear this was going to be an entertaining battle and Mikey was going to give this next round everything he could. " Truffles give this next round 200% with another Tackle attack, you might be slightly behind but you can still do this." Unfortunately for Mikey Neji was just a bit too fast as he hopped towards Truffles and delivered another Tackle attack.
Truffles tried with all his might to endure the hit but it was just too much for the bird to handle as he topped over knocked out by the attack. Mikey was a bit disappointed but he still had one Pokemon left so not all his hope was lost just yet. " Well shoot, Truffles you did good but it looks like we were just a little short. Cheese will have to handle things from here." He then recalled Truffles and tossed another Pokeball containing a young Rattata in it's place. Cheese was quite eager to get started as he could tell by the look on Mikey's face that things were not going so well.
" Cheese I am counting on you, I am sure Truffles is rooting for you as well." He said as the young rat waited for the next round to begin.

With Neji delivering the final hit a sigh of relief escaped from Senchi's lips. He didn't want to show it but during the final moment's of battle Senchi was holding his breath. It was the first battle for his team and adrenaline rushed through his veins, with Neji being the only avian left standing they we're one steep closer to victory. Gasping for breath after the grueling match the small bird ready him self for the next challenger. "Great job Neji! You as well Truffles!" Saying as he watched the red beam retract the small bird.
The moment Mikey released the rattata from it's small red and white home Senchi stooped dead in his tracks looking down at the tiny rodent Pokemon. It reminded him of his child hood, zoning out as the 12 year old thought back to a few years ago helping his dad raise a rattata he had smuggled one night after work, working at the Safari zone and even his fathers Raichu. The morning the mouse had evolved in to Raticate and all the adventures they had. tearing up as the last days of his fathers life and his final good bye to the Raticate and Raichu flooded his mind. The memories over toke his thoughts, fighting back tears looking up at the sky he smiling a little. " Hey Mikey if it's ok with you.. I would like to dedicate this round to my father. You're Rattata reminds me of the one my father and I raised. I also Will probably switch out to my first pokemon I received when I started this journey.
Looking over at Neji he gave a wave of his hand signaling the small flying type to join him. Flapping his wings lifting it's self off the ground Neji flew over to Senchi perching on his shoulder. Pidgey! Pid! Pidgey! (Good luck in this round Cheese. Your opponent is a bit of a hothead.) Neji cried out as it was glad to be resting after a hard battle. Reaching over to his right side Senchi removed the small ball housing his Charmander. Looking down at the ball for a few moments he couldn't help but chuckle a little. "It's crazy to think I started my journey just to day. In this short amount of time I have acquired two amazing Pokemon and a new friend in you. Hey Mikey! I want to ask you about your dreams. What do you want to do with your life? I myself plan on becoming a world class breeder just like my father was."
At that moment the pokeball soared through the air landing only a foot from Cheese reveling the small fire lizard. At the sight of her opponent Emith's tail burned brighter. She was finally getting her battle with another trainer. She wanted to scoff at the idea of it being a Rattata but that might coast her this chance. Looking back at her trainer she eagerly waited for his command. "Char! Charmander! Char. (Hurry up! I want to fight!) Exclaiming while she clinched her fist tightly. Senchi shook his head a little. He knew she would be anxious to start the battle, possible he could teach her patience one day hopefully. "Ok Emith I know you are eager. Lets start things off with a little heat! Use Ember now !" saying as determination fell across Senchi's face
"Are you okay?" Mikey asked with a frown when Senchi seemed to freeze, was he afraid of rattatas? Mikey knew some people was that although he couldn't understand why. He looked rather puzzled when Senchi made his request, it sounded so formal and complicated but as it didn't seem to affect the battle much he just shrugged. "Okay?" He said, not sure if he was supposed to do something special if this battle was dedicated to someone. He hadn't heard about that before.
"What a cool charmander!" Mikey exclaimed and sounded like he had forgotten all about the uncomfortable situation a moment ago, he grinned when Senchi wanted to heat things up a bit. "Alright! Cheese, then let us show them some speed! Hurry up with a Quick Attack," The boy shouted and the rattata disappeared in purple blur, slamming into Emith a hearbeat later. It hadn't gotten back to its feet when the charmander covered it in embers and it squealed as it jumped around trying to cool down again.
When it stopped it was panting and it glanced at the pidgey sitting on his trainer's shoulder. "Rat rattata, tata?" (Hey Emith, do you know your friend is calling you a hothead?) It called to the fire type.

Senchi's eyes widened at the shear speed of the small rodent Pokemon. He had forgotten how fast they moved, this one seemed to be even faster then the one his father had. He couldn't believe it landed the hit before his Charmander did. The attack seemed to anger the fire type, watching as a blast of embers erupted from Emith's mouth.
"Hey thanks Mikey! she's definitely a fighter. Hey! That's a pretty amazing Rattata you have!
He said watching as the two Pokemon faced off. His adrenaline was pumping through his veins. The fight was exhilarating causing his excitement to be barely containable. Pondering his next attack Senchi looked over a Mikey. He couldn't help but wonder if Cheese was his first pokemon.
"So I have to know. Is Cheese the pokemon your started out wi..."
At that very moment Senchi was cut off from his question by the Rattata speaking to his Charmander. With a quick snap the fire lizard spun away from her opponent to scream at the small bird on the trainer's shoulder.
"Char! Charmander! Char!Charmander ! Char ! (What's the big idea!? If you have a problem say it to my face!)
The small Pidgey tried to lift it's self up from Senchi's shoulder sadly lacking the strength. It's battle had taken a toll on the poor bird. Flapping it's wings furiously Neji squalled back in protest.
"Pidgey! Pid! Pidge! Pidgey! (No I don't have a problem. I was just telling the truth about you ! You're both hot headed and stubborn.)
The argument started to escalate as Senchi's eye started to twitch. Enough was enough. He didn't know what they were fighting about and didn't care at the point. They we're in the middle of their very first trainer battle and this is how his pokemon decided to conduct theme selfs, he was very ashamed.
"Ok you two cut it out! Neji if you don't stop you're going back in the poke'ball! Emith you are in a battle you need to focus! We can sort this out later. Agreed?
Both creatures could tell their trainer wasn't playing around. It would probably be some type of punishment later. Neji fell quite as he didn't want his friend to lose the fight nor did he want to be put back in his poke'ball. That would mean missing the fight. Emith turned back toward Cheese awaiting her trainer's next command.
"Ok Emith! They will be expecting ember.. This time let him get close in and use those claws of yours. Given a good scratch attack!"
He wasn't sure if he was to late in issuing the command. Emith and Neji argument with each other probably bought the young boy some time to come up with some kind of strategy.
Mikey was quite thankful for Kinjo's complement as not many trainers would show a Rattata very much respect at all given how common they were. Though Kinjo was interrupted at the last moment when asking about Cheese Mikey thought he knew what the rest of the question was going to be so he answered hoping his guess was correct. " Yes my mom caught Cheese for me when she was coming home from a shopping trip to Cherrygrove. Mom had bought some cheese while she was there and Cheese here followed her for quite some time. Mom gave him a slice before using a Pokeball to capture her and she gave him to me."
As Mikey talked Cheese found it amusing that Neji wasn't afraid to speak his mind and had gained a certain amount of respect for the Pidgey. Cheese was hoping the Pidgey might distract Kinjo and his Pokemon long enough to pull off another quick attack without getting hit this time but Mikey's big mouth gave away his plan. " Cheese lets try another Quick Attack."[/color] He ordered as the rat Pokemon ran towards Emith and scored another direct hit right into the salamanders abdomen. The attack was not as powerful as Rattata hoped and to make matters worse Emith was able to reach Cheese now with her claws.
Within seconds Emith scratched Cheese draining a considerable amount of the rats health. Cheese was not quite out of the fight yet but things were not looking very good for him at all. " Oh Cheese you look really tired, I am not sure you will be able to hold out much longer." Mikey said in a disappointed tone unsure how much longer this battle would last.

The fight had taken it out of the small fire lizard yet it was exhilarating. It was exactly what she was looking for in an opponent, she may have the upper hand in sheer power but the rodent was far superior in speed. It was almost the perfect match at this level. Looking back at her trainer Emith lightly gasped for air given the fact of enjoying the battle it took alot of energy. Something the Charmander hadn't grown accustomed to was a drawn out fight.
Senchi was thrilled Emith was enjoying her self, but at the same time he was hoping the fight would come to an end soon. Dusk had started to set in and the muggy air started to turn hot. Very hot, as if a heat wave was washed over the land. He wasn't sure how it was effecting Mikey or the other pokemon, sure was causing the small trainer fatigue though as sweat started to run down his brow.
Thinking of what his next move would be, the trainer looked over at the pidgey perched on his shoulder. He wanted to ask the small birds opinion but thought it probably wouldn't do any good. The ultimate call was his and Emith was counting on him. I could go for another scratch attack but I'm guessing they would be expecting that. Even ember was at question, they had seen both of the salamanders main attacks and that was all she really had in her arsenal.
Maybe if they did a faint that would work. Yeah it he maid it look like they we're going in for a scratch and used ember point blank range. Maybe that would be enough to end it. Their was only one way to find out and it was to try it. It was now or never and the trainer had to make his call.
"Hey Emith! I have a plan, so just bare with me. Ok ?
Giving a shake of her head she stood ready to execute whatever plan Senchi had. She trusted him but it still didn't mean she wasn't putting the boy to the test.
The small red creature cried out as it looked at Cheese with a level of respect. She hopped the Rattata had enjoyed this as much as her.
"ok Emith close the distance.. I know Cheese may strike first but get in close as possible. As soon as your in melee range listen for my command ok?
Senchi waited for the two pokemon to get close. Close enough for a scratch attack, but that wasn't what he had planned. Once his Charmander was in range he would scream out.
Both trainers would take the time to rack over their minds on what their next plan of attack was. The furry purple rodent’s head bobbed up and down as the normal type Rattata heaved with labored breaths. It was evident to the youngster that his Pokemon was growing weary and tired. Fatigue and exhaustion was starting to overwhelm Cheese as the fight carried on, and he wasn’t sure how much more his Pokemon could take. “Cheese, hang in there, ok? Just a little bit more, then you can rest. Promise!” The youngster called out with a wave of his hands to his Pokemon.
The purple Rattata growled low underneath it’s breath. It stood tensed as it studied the flame-tailed lizard with its eyes, carefully watching the way the bipedal reptile moved in to cover ground. The quick rodent darted through the tall grasses and undergrowth as well, seizing the opportunity to sneak in close. If the Charmander was taking the opportunity, then so would it. “Rata tat tata!” A loud battlecry sounded high above all the other noises of buzzing bugs and cawing birds far off within the trees. The purple rodent slammed its tail impressively back and forth from one side to the next on the ground. A ‘Hurry up’ call to its trainer. “Cheese, ya ready? Use Quick Attack, before they can attack!
The other trainer had his Pokemon move in, which sent the youngster on the alarm. Were they planning to scratch at his purple mouse again?! The Charmander’s claws were impressive and sharp! The way his Rattata carried on, Mikey doubted he could last through many more of the other Pokemon’s sharp claws. They needed to be ever vigilant – keep striking while the iron’s hot, because they couldn’t afford to wait for things to cool off. Cheese lunged through the tall blades of grasses and up into the air as the rodent kicked itself off the ground and slung its body into Mikey’s Charmander.
They tumbled, a flying blur of purple, orange, and cream hues. Flames engulfed the tumbling pair, and they rolled about through the tall blades of grass. They left an erratic path of crumbled and smashes grasses and wildflowers in their wake. Emith moved first, lifting herself off the ground with an impressive and satisfied grin. Cheese twitched, tried to push itself back up, and then slumped back onto the ground again. “Oh no, Cheese!” Mikey called out in distress as he used his hands to grab nervously at his baseball cap. What have they done to ya?! He recalled his Pokemon and walked over Senchi. “We’ll heal ya up, boy. Promise. Next Pokecenter, you’ll be good as new.” He cooed softly to the red-and-white Pokeball in his hands.
Youngster Mikey extended his hand to the other young trainer. He held a crumbled-up wade of cash as he extended it to Senchi and even gave the young brown-haired lad and his flame-tailed lizard a slight nod of his head. “You and your Emith were great out there.” He praised them, simply amazed as how well young Senchi was able to battle with his starter Pokemon. “This is for winning the match. Hopefully we’ll meet again someday. Then I can show you how strong Cheese’ll become, that day!” He boasted with a smile.

The last moments of the battle proved to accelerate faster then the young trainer could keep up. Both the fire lizard and the purple rodent had vanshied in to the lush green, the ripple effect of battle causing the wild flowers a dance of perfect harmony despite the chaos underneath. With unrest Neji cried with frustration, he himself couldn't get a good view of the fight. Not from this angle anyway, it was true he was injured from the battle but he somehow found the strength to lift himself in to the sky despite his trainer's disapproval.
With a combination of the sky and the small birds keen eye the seen had become clear. His friend was locked in a rolling match with the small purple rat. Having to give the rodent credit, it would take alot of guts to be locked up with the fire lizard. The path of destruction left in there wake was nothing to scoff at. A trail was being cut through the long grass of the yard. In it's wake burnt grass from the lizard's tail, knocked over flowers and even a small tree sapling had become a victim of the fray. Within seconds a puff of black and orange smock bellowed up from the scene as the two pokemon laid in a small patch of scorched-earth. It had appeared the Charmander was the clear and final victor.
Giving a deep sigh of relief Senchi's shoulders relaxed a little. It was a great feeling to be victorious, but still his heart went out to the small rodent. It felt unfair in a way, he wished they could all revel in this win. Sadly that wasn't possible the best thing he could do was congratulate Mikey on a battle well done. Watching as his Pidgey landed beside the fatigued Charmander as they conversated in screeches and chirps. He wanted to scald the small bird for flying off like that but he knew it was just worried about Emith as was he. At that moment the red beam covered the small Rattata returning to it's small home.
Giving a firm hand shake Senchi returned the smile to Mikey graciously accepting the money. He knew they would battle again. He had no intention of not keeping in contact with his new friend. It was an exhilarating battle, one he would love to experience once more.
"I had an amazing time Mikey, I definitely would love to have a rematch if you are up for it sometime. Lets both promise to keep traning and get stronger. ok?"
Turning his attention to both the bird and salamander, Senchi kneeled down to their height. he was very proud of the two and knew they deserved a good rest. Laying both poke'balls on the ground. He watched as they tapped their respected front doors returning to the red and white spheres. They must be tired because neither one of theme would go back so quickly and he knew it.
"Great Job you two! I couldn't ask for a better duo. You two rest up now. Oh Mikey.. I hate to ask this, but may I use your computer ? I need to contact my mom and let her know I'm doing ok."
With approval from Mikey's mother the young kid invited Senchi in to use the computer. He was impressed, the PC had a pokeball transfer station on it, definitely top of the line and not cheap. That probably explained why Mikey had 300 dollars just to give away after a battle like that. Either way Senchi wasn't going to mention it. After he logged into his account on the Poke messenger a video conference call appeared with Keiko his mother on the other end. Her face lit up seeing her son.
"Hey Mom! just wanted you to know I'm doing ok! I'm on route 29. Still close to home. Haha! Oh I maid a new friend to! This is Mikey!
Mikey waved awkwardly as nervous laughter escaped his lungs, it wasn't every day he became friends with somone he battled, even more so to meet the person's mom. Senchi developed big grin as his mother waved at the two boys.
"It's nice to meet you miss. Kenjo. I hope you are doing well.. I apologise i can't talk long i must go and do some chores.
Mikey said before trailing off toward the kitchen. It wasn't the fact Mikey didn't want to talk, but he just felt a little awkward and didn't know what to say. Senchi's mother said a few kind words toward Mikey before turning her attention back to her son.
"I'm glad you're doing well kiddo, and sounds like your safe and having fun. Oh before I forget.. there was a package for you this morning after you left. A pokeball with a water symbol on it. I know you spent alot of your money on buying an Azurill from another trainer. I took it to the processors lab and his assistant deposit it to bills PC for you. Get it any time you want."
Thanking his mother, the eager child quickly ended the call. Logging in to Bill's pc network entering his account information. With in minutes a flash of light erupted from the transfer station reveling Azula's poke'ball. Before he could make a move, Mikey's mother poked her head around the corner inviting Senchi to join them in the kitchen for dinner
"Would you join us at the table Senchi? I know Mikey would be happy to have you as our guest, also bring your pokemon as well. I have maid special food for theme.
Moving toward the dinner table in acknowledgement, the young trainer joined his new friends for a meal. One that would probably prove to be his last home cooked meal for a while. releasing all three of his pokemon Neji, Emith, and the newcomer Azula to mingle and get to know one another better. Mikey's Pokemon Truffles and cheese would accompany them over dinner. The 5 Pokemon would talk in between bites of their meal.
"Char! Charmander! Char! (So will you be accompanying us on our journey Azula?)
"Azurill! Azul!" (Yeah I suppose so. My original trainer put me up for adoption and your's was the one that adopted me.)
"Pidgey! Pidg! Pidgey! (We'll we are happy to have you aboard Azula. You are in good company here.)
Chatter accompanied with laughter escaped the pokemon's area. During that time Senchi had learned Mikey's mother was an assistant nurse for the Cherry Grove Pokemon center and she worked from home. Helping wounded pokemon to recover. Especially one's in the wild like the Pidgey he had found. With a full belly and a little extra food in his bag, Senchi thanked Mikey and his mother before gathering his belongings. He motioned for his pokemon to join him before turning back to Mikey.
"Hey this is my number in New Bark town. You guys keep in touch with my mom and that way we can meet up for another get together again one day.
The two boys said their final goodbye before the young trainer maid his way back on to the trail. Dusk had already heavily set in, along with the unbearable wave of heat. Followed by Emith and Azula with Neji perched on his shoulder the trainer found him self following the edge of the river bank. Well at least the hill above it. Azula squalled in protest of the heat but didn't want to return to her pokeball. she had been in it long enough, and the other two seemed to be ok with traveling with this strange young man outside of theirs. She just wished the trainer would pay more attention. It was getting late, the path seemed to be treacherous and to top it off the boy had his nose buried in a map with flashlight in hand. She knew it couldn't end well.
She knew it wasn't going to end well, but she didn't want to be proven right. Noticing the loose rocks, the water type screamed out in an attempted to warn the trainer, joined in by the Pidgey and Charmander but to no avail as the trainer took a tumble down the rock quarry landing in the water. With worry on their face the trio made their way down to check on Senchi.
Crawling back on to the river bank Senich tried to move his leg but only felt discomfort as he winched in pain, it hurt like a thousand needles sticking in to his leg as he tried to move it. It wasn't broken, but probably a bad sprang. Crap ! why couldn't he have been paying attention? now he was in the middle of nowhere with a sprang ankle in the dark and most of his stuff was wet. He didn't think matters could get any worse. The best thing he could do now was to set up camp, hopping morning would come fast. His 3 pokemon reached him, as he rummaged through his bag pulling out the camping pot, sleeping bag, and unhooking the tent. It was all they could do for the time being.
Two hours had passed as the 4 worked together in setting up the camping area. Truth be told the damp clothes felt kind of nice in the heat, but they would dry out soon. He decided to hang his shirt, shoes, and what belonging he could over the campfire. He was thankful for his pokemon. Emith started the camp fire with her ember, while Azula sprayed the area around the camp fire down with her water gun to help prevent the spread of a unintentional wildfire. Neji had helped Senchi set up the tent best he could, as he couldn't offer much more assistance at the moment.
"Thanks guys.. I couldn't have maid it this far without you guys. I'm looking forward to our adventures but for now let's try to relax some. We got along way to go in to morning."
"Char! Charmander! Char! (Oh boy! Our Trainer is super clumsy I guess we'll have to look out for him.)
"Pidgey! Pide! Pidegy! (No kidding. It will be a full time job keeping him from hurting him self.)
"Azurill! Azul! (What have I gotten my self in to?)
Senchi watched as the three pokemon conversed. He was just happy they we're getting along but had no idea the topic at hand was of him. Watching the fire dance casting light around the scenery and over the water he thought about the promise he had made back in professor elm's lab about collecting data on all eight-hundered Pokemon and wondering what the rest of the night, and the next few days would bring him.
(OOC: i Hope alot of this was ok for me to add in. If not, let me know and i can re do the post. I'm trying to connect a few things together to make more since and wanted to add a little volume to the NPC and PC relationship in my story. I hope this was all ok. Oh and i would like to cut off Bike mode. I'm more interested in the development of the story then a quick reply. Oh and wanted to thank all of you Mods and Admins for an amazing job 😀.)
The light of the campfire was just enough to attract the attention of one of the Pokemon living on Route 29 as it slowly crawled towards the flame wondering what it was. The small red bug known as Wurmple were normally afraid of fire but this one was rather intrigued by it and as it got closer it noticed Kinjo and his Pokemon and froze not entirely sure how it should proceed. Not only was it outnumbered it was also not a very strong Pokemon and if a battle got underway. Still the flame proved to be too enticing to stop the bug from exploring more.
As it got closer a second flame this time on the end of Emith's tail caught its attention and the Wurmple started to question whether or not getting any closer was wise as a Pokemon with a flame on it's tail might just be a bad omen. Against its better judgement the bug still could not shake the thrill of investigating the bigger flame when it was suddenly hit by a burst of water from Azula and it started to panic thinking it was a blue flame that it had been hit by. After a few moments passed without feeling any burn the Wurmple realized it had made a mistake regarding what had hit it but that no longer mattered.
The bug was out for some revenge now as it lowered it's head and fired a Poison Sting attack towards the group. The bug misjudged the distance the group was at however as the poison sting hit the ground a few feet away alerting the group to the Wurmple who tried to pull off a sneak attack. Escape was not an option for the bug now as it had been the one to pick a fight. If the bug was going to get away from this horrible mistake it would have to win the right to escape.
Wurmple (Level 5) tried to ambush you but failed. Please select a Pokemon.
OOC: No worries, we are usually pretty open about things in between battles in most cases. I didn't see anything in that post that would be a problem.

The shadows swayed in a chaotic motion reflecting on to the nearby rocks Silhouettes danced using trees as their canvas. Sounds of a rushing current could be heard coming from the adjacent river. Nature was truly alive in the area. A lethargic felling washed over the trainer, watching the blaze of the fire he gave a loud yawn finding trysleep hard to fight. Dusk had turned in to night but despite that fact a heat wave stayed consiste over the area.
Leaning back against one of the giant boulders Senchi closed his eyes for a few moments. Pain in his left ankle had becom excruciating. With no real way to treat the injury. A shirt cut into strips was replacement for bandage's being accompanied by one small stick acting as a splint. It was the best that could be done for now. Azula and Neji had decided playing dodge seemed more interesting then staying right by the fire. The small water would let out a smooth blast of blue liquid from her mouth, in response the tiny avian would twist, turn and loop in mid air. Emith on the other hand wanted no part of the games, enjoying the sounds of crackling wood under the temperature and rising flames.
A shoot of blue liquid expelled from Azula as Neji dove out of the way. Both pokemon exploded with laughter at their own escapades. They we're having fun ! In fact the most fun Azula had in a while. It was true she had been stuck in the pokeball for some time, but having a trainer that let her out amongst the other Pokemon in the party was something else entirely. The only thing Senchi had found slightly annoying was at the sight of berries and branches becoming dislodged from the surrounding flora.
Some of the liquid substance flew by Emith's head as anger got the better of her. Flailing her arms Emith shouted out to the other two of her discontent.
"Charrrrmander ! Chaaar! Charmander ! Char! (What's the big idea! That almost hit me.. I swear I'm about to give you both a beating !)
"Pidgey ! Pidge! Pidgey! Piide! (Well if you think you can take us both on then bring it Lizard brain !)
"Azurill! Azur! Azuril.. Azurill?" (I thought we we're friend's! i don't want to fight either of you. can we all just calm down?)
The small water type cryed out as it ran for the trainer. Senchi struggled to stand up frustrated with the situation. This was not the time to be arguing. Not carrying who started it but it was going to end now.
"Enough! I don't know what this is all about but it ends now! Emith I do know this had something to do between you and Neji and i want you two to hash this out now. You're setting a bad example for Azula. Arguing and fighting isn't what's teams about so work it out now!
Amongst the arguing something landed in the middle of the group. At first Senchi thought it was one of his pokemon. With further inspection it had become clear it was a poison stinger. At first his mind imagined a swarm of Beedrill coming for theme. It was probably due to the chaos from the mock battle and then arguing.
"Piddddgey." (Over here this little warm is the culprit.)
The avian cried out circling the worm. Neji felt as if he now had to protect his friends. Senchi and Emith had done so for his friend with the broke wing. Now that Senchi was injured returning the favor was on his agenda now.
[ "Pidgey. Pidgey." (Emith I know you probably want this battle.. but please let me. i have something to prove to you guys and a favor to return.)
"Charmander! Char! (Ok fine ! But i get the next one no questions asked ok?)
Without hesitation the fire Lizard marched up to the boy yanking on his pants leg. Gazzing at the wurmple before turning his attention to Neji and back at Senchi. Giving a nod of his head in approval. The small water pokemon doing the same.
"Well I don't know what has got in to you Emith.. but if your ok with it so am I. Ok Neji! lets see what it can take. Start off with a tackle!"
Calling out to his Pidgey. Digging amongst his bag for an empty pokeball. He aimed to catch this one.
Fear still had the small pinkish-red larvae mesmerized. The Wurmple watched the way the flame-tailed lizards rushed over to its trainer and communicated with the human. The wild pink larvae tilted its head curiously and cooed, then bristled up as Senchi and his team decided to prepare to fight. The wilderness had taught the bug Pokemon a few tricks, however, and like lightning the small reddish caterpillar scurried as fast as it could to dodge its opponents.
Senchi sent out the Wurmple’s mortal enemy – a flying feathered fiend whose only existence was the bane of a Wurmple’s existence. How many friends had the wild Wurmple witness fall at the beak of a ravenous and very evil Pidgey? Were they planning to seek out and destroy this Wurmple, just like all his friends? No more! Never again! Neji’s wings beat, and he soared around the trees chasing, and flushing the Wurmple out from one hiding spot to another. The Caterpillar squealed out, screeching alarming calls at the top of its lungs that caused the rustling of unseen wildly to scurry off in the distance.
Neji finally managed to corner the Wurmple. The dull brown feathered avian soared in close and lashed out with its talens, ramming the lower half of its body in a slamming motion to tackle the Wurmple. The Pidgey’s body, talons, and the gust of wind underneath its feet knocked the Wurmple over in the height of Neji’s Tackle Attack. The reddish caterpillar rolled through tall green grasses, momentarily disappearing among the blades. Poison tipped needles shot out past the bright green grasses and scored Neji against the bird’s chest. The Wurmple bounced back, crawling through the blades with a comeback ready to fight for its life. If this was the end, then Wurmple would do everything it could to take this Pidgey with it!

Clinching his fist tightly Senchi winced in pain hearing the flying type scream out. He kind of knew what Neji was going through. During an outing with both friends and family, he had found himself wondering astray deep in the viridian forest stumbling upon a wild Weedle. Becoming overly excited the lad would rush over to pick up what he had thought was a new friend. It would prove to be a bad decision leaving him badly poison from It's stinger. He spent more then a few days in the hospital because of it. That was back in his home of Kanto though. It was a different situation now.
"I better take precautions on this fight. Neji would be in big trouble if he became poisoned. What to do? What to do?"
Saying as he maid attempts to sneak closer. Smashing the middle button of the red and white device. Extending to max size in his hand, the device felt weightless as it contained no creature yet. Senchi couldn't help but let a little excitement slip through. This was going to be his first Johto pokemon to be caught by him. His team consisted of a two to one ratio of kanto and johto creatures minus Azula. Even though he hadn't caught her, but manage to purchase her instead. Looking back at both the fire and water type before moving forward closer to the fight trying to get in range. He wanted to catch the little red creature more then anything right now.
Emith and Azula watched from a distance. It looked natural, almost as if both the flying and bug type we're over taken by their natural instincts. Predator versus Prey and in a nut shell this was what it was. The fire lizard knew she could have ended the fight already, either way it was Neji's fight not her's.
Finally being in range just outside of the battle Senchi leaned against a tree to rest a few moments. He was ready to try and end this. The injured leg was pulsating and to top it off he was tired.
"Ok Neji! circle that Wurmple and draw it out in the open then delivery another Tackle. I'm going to try something soon.
