The last movie I watched was Beauty and the Beast at three o'clock in the morning. I hadn't seen it in years and it was on Sky Movies so... I guess that's not really a good reason but who needs a good reason to watch old Disnay movies. DON'T JUDGE ME!

Before today the last movie I saw was Schindler's List which was an amazing film. It was incredibly sad but at the same time it had such a nice ending even if the one part was entirely fictional overall I really liked it.
As of today however the last movie I saw was San Andreas which was about this massive series of earthquakes in California. It was pretty good even if there were moview with similar themes to it. The next movie
I want to see comes out in like three weeks and it is that Max movie about the dog with PTSD that looked really good.

As we speak I'm watching The Innkeepers. It's a horror Dom starring Sara Paxton and Pat Healy. Not bad for a low-budget horror flick.
I also watched Sky High (again) earlier today. That's still one of my favorites.

BAYMAX! That movie is adorable.
Went to the theaters the other day on two separate occasions to see Jurassic World and Inside Out.
Jurassic World was better than I expected, probably cause I wasn't expecting too much coming in. I personally liked it more than its predecessors; I could never sit through an entire Jurassic Park movie. =P
Been wanting to go see Inside Out for ages, and we had to decide between that and the dog movie Max. But it was so cute, I loved it (: The two kids I was watching loved it and were really getting into it haha.
Unfourtunately, during the movie, a baby started wailing, and I guess the mother stayed put because the child went on for a good half of the movie. I tried to sympathize, but it's hard to when it's not very courteous to keep a crying baby around while a movie was going on =P even one of the boys with me said that it was getting too noisy haha.

I finally got around to watching Jurassic World the other day. Even though I enjoyed it, I felt they missed an opportunity somewhat and it could have been much better. The first movie was able to create much better suspense and fear. Just the storm and the lull in the action before the T-Rex first appears set the mood of the situation so well. There was also that sense of invulnerability sitting the cars and as humans we tend to think that as long as we are inside a car or building, we will be safe. That belief then gets shattered during that scene.
With Jurassic World, I thought the escape of Indominus Rex was far too abrupt. Surely you would have more safety measures than a huge gate that can be opened from inside the enclosure. It would have been thousands of time better if Indominus Rex somehow escaped by outsmarting its its handlers in some way. I guess the whole regulating your body heat to trick the humans thing was meant to do that but it just seemed like a bad excuse and made the humans look really dumb rather than create a sense that the creature had superior intelligence.
It also seemed strange to me that half of the island seemed to be left unused. Initially I thought that people would be teeming all over the island and think that would have helped create more of a sense of mayhem if everyone was scattered and isolated from each other across the island and a dominant predator was hunting them.
Instead of going out to try and capture Indominus Rex themselves I wished that they'd taken more a leaf out of the first movie's book and let Indominus come to them. Had they drawn out the suspense with periods where not much was happening, it'd feel more terrifying if the dinosaur managed to overcome all of the security measures and smashed the feeling of complacency.
Overall that's what I believed they needed the most. Going from all out, non-stop action to moments where characters are hiding in fear would have made the world of difference for me.

I recently saw Max no not Max Max this Max is about a military service dog whose handler is killed in Afghanistan and the soldiers family adopts him. I thought it was a really good movie overall despite the critics being mixed but I do wish the opening scene would have been longer and gone into more detail as military dogs usually don't get too much time in movies which is a shame given the number of lives they have saved over the years. Overall it was a pretty cute film that I do plan on buying whenever it comes out since I think my brother Wolfly will like it as well with how much we are both into military history and our love for animals.

Recently saw Jurassic World with my aunt and her daughter. It was awesome! The best part, IMO, was my Aunt; she was terrified! Clutching onto her (9 year old!) daughter's arm the whole time. We went to the restroom without her and came back, and she was huddled up with her eyes closed and ears covered!

I would say Jurassic world, but I watched Star Trek: In to the Darkness last night. I'll comment on both of them. Cause why not?! Spoilers btw.
Jurrasic World: Oh. My. God. This was amazing!!!! It was the perfect monster movie!! I mean, T-Rex and Velocirapot tag teaming the mutant Dino? And it ends with mutant dino being eaten by the mosasaurs?! Holy hell was it awesome. The plot was there, and was present through the whole thing, but it didn't distract from the action.
Star Trek: Amazing. Action packed, great story, moved at a perfect pace. The only thing I had a problem with is that it expects you to know about everything. Granted, I never saw the first one. Still good though.
