Hey guys! So, I’m getting a new kitten (6 weeks old) from the shelter after school tomorrow. However, because we are on a budget, we are a little low on toy funds. Does anyone have any tips to making toys with things around the house?

Kittens play with everything. Shoe laces, toilet paper rolls, basically anything that moves or can be controlled by someone. Apso gently playwrestling with them using your hand is good, but if hurt you, make sure you let them know without shouting directly at them to prevent problems in the future. Kittens have a lot of pent up energy, espeically if theyre alone.

A Potato
Get a cardboard box and cut out holes in it for the kitten to play in.
lol I hope you know what you're getting into. Some kittens are mild mannered. Some are so full of energy and knock stuff off of counters and tear things apart and won't let you have any sleep for months.

Yeah what Lex said. I didnt know what inwas getting into until i brough CC home. Then i found out. But Though i wouldnt trade her for the world, keep in mind you have school and kittens need lots of attention or they get bored and cause trouble, some examples listed in Lex's post.
