It's a puzzle genre spin off with Pokemon plastered all over it that was made available recently the other week or so on the 3DS eShop. It's pretty basic and is actually free to play (So long as you don't cave in and pay2win). I've had the odd go and it's ideal for waits for buses/trains etc
Seems like it's just hit a million downloads. Ultimately, not sure if I would have preferred a paid £15 download a bit more similar to Trozei and had unlimited play time. Nintendo dipping their toes in free to play models makes me uneasy.

I gave it a go a little while ago and liked it at first. I like puzzle games like Bejeweled and Tetris so this looked pretty neat. As soon as I ran out of hearts however my opinion turned sour as limiting the amount of plays is not a good free to play model not to mention Nintendo really should not try the whole free to play thing in my opinion. I thought the grinding on free to play games like World of Tanks and War Thunder was bad but at least they do not limit how much you can play at any time. It may be that I am from the N64 days but I just do not like Nintendo even trying free to play as it just makes them seem desperate. I really wish they would have just made this a $15 or so dollar game as it would have been a lot nicer experience than putting up with no more than 5 plays at any given time.
I am not saying the game itself is bad as in short bursts the model they went with can be fun but if you say a game is free to play there should not be limits to how much it can be played. I admit I even went and deleted it as I could not stand the model anymore but if they change it to a less pay to play free to play model I may give it another go.

Having given it bit more of a go, it seems alright. Solid albeit a bit restricted if you want to really sit down and play with it. In short bursts it's good. Just got up to Hawlucha (Which Morrigan caught, she's a demon at this game).

I found the game since reading about it in here I like it pretty much. As Joey says it functions the best in short bursts, and that fit me just fine. Otherwise I might have trouble putting it down. I thought I was far behind, but if I measure against Joey here again, I guess I'm a good deal ahead after all. I've stood 'still' several days if not for more than a week. I've run into a difficult stage, the mega evolution of Gengar. That's a tough one. But otherwise I've caught almost every Pokemon from the previous stages. Right now I'm practising and training to capture Zoroark, so I might have a better chance with MegaGengar

I managed to slip past Mega Gengar barely, saved up enough coins to purchase everything and had some jewels on stand by. Now Mega Mewtwo? URGH. Back to square one saving up again.

I have found this game on my phone called Pokemon shuffle and it is quite addicting as a time passing game!
If anyone else plays, they have recently added a friend option and I would love to add some of you if you play!
My friend code there is: X6K5-2D87
If you do play, what do you like about Pokemon Shuffle?
