Let's talk books. What are your favourites, and what would you recommend?
My all time favourite is Howl's Moving Castle. It's a fairly dark book and a fantastic read.
A girlier, romance-y kids book would be Vampire Stalker. I'm not a huge romance fan, but the premise (a book character ending up in our world) is interesting.
Another more kiddie book would be the Wolves of the Beyond series. As an avid wolf lover, these books have interested me since primary school.
Second to last would have to be Oogy. It's a memoir about this man's dog, Oogy, who was rescued as a bait dog. He was permanently disfigured, and his appearance caused a lot of trouble. For a big Pitbull breed advocate, this is a great read.
Lastly would be Chosen By a Horse. Like Oogy, it's a memoir. However, it differs from most in that, the focus character is middle aged, with a bad back. Unlike most horse books she can't just jump on and ride into the sunset. It chronicles her taking in a rescued Broodmare and her foal, and her struggles as she attempts to care for a sick horse, three healthy ones, while being ill herself.
I would recommend all these books in a heartbeat.

goosebumps is also a childhood favortie of mine Ana knows where it's at. Gotta admit, I used to be a bookworm when I was younger but i'm nowhere near as much of a reader these days. I do like King's works though. Can't beat a good Stephen King.
