On the inside of the building, Harker sat in another room, waiting for the package to be pushed up to the hatch for him to take. Socially recluse, he was a hermit who preferred as little human interaction as possible, meaning that he had to create awkward measures such as this one, to even accept mail. Only, even he had hit a snag. Perhaps he had been up late working, or he hadn't slept at all, but this particular package was an expensive purchase and required a signature. So whilst he had questioned mentally the pause from Tobias on the other side, it was now Tobias' turn to wait and see how Harker would react. He couldn't claim his package without first giving his signature. Knowing that the Johto Regional Mail took signatures electronically, it meant that it couldn't be slid into the hatch, as they were usually attached to the courier's belt via a rubber, extendable spring like cord. "...One moment." The silence broken with a mere few words, it was a race against the clock for Prometheus, who had been ordered with infiltrating the home.
Sliding past the edge of the package and sneaking his way in through the hatch, there was more than enough space for the tiny frame of a Pansear to enter. As soon as he stepped into the entrance hall, Prometheus was welcomed to a dark, dingy home, with wires and pieces of random electronics scattered all over the place. In short, it was an wired jungle. Distracted by the many blinking lights, the sound of approaching footsteps caused Prometheus to act, immediately finding himself a hiding place beneath the sea of electronics. An overweight, scruffy individual stomping his way to the front door, there was yet another pause and numerous rattles, to which Prometheus raised his head. The door was absolutely littered with different types of locks, from keys which were on a ring within the pocket of Harker, to simply chains, to a padlock and code pad. It would've been impossible for the poor monkey to work this all out by himself! It was a good thing Tobias' quick thinking led him to asking for a signature.
The hatch to the door slamming shut, Harker undid the final lock and begun to cautiously open the door. Opening the door by a mere slither, it was a joke that he would expect any post man to go through this song and dance every time he had a package. The gap not quite big enough to accept the machine in order to complete the signature, Harker was about to open the door further when a high pitched sound grabbed his attention. "Intruder! Intruder!" "Wuh-what?" His nasally tone questioning whatever alarm was going off on the other side of the door, Tobias needed to act fast if he wanted to use this chance to get inside the house.
Prometheus has been spotted!
Use the distraction to get inside the house of James Harker!Thread Reserved
