OOC: OK this is a thread so i can get feedback on my posts so i can improve them and try to break this silly low muse. Besides if i feel my posts are good them maybe i might wanna post more so. Here is the first post. I am going to treat this as if i was in the route left of new bark town.....
Sarara walked into the route where as had began her Adventure. She remembered getting her Spinda as well as fighting that boy who didnt want to listern to her. Sarara tehn bagan to think about the battle she had in New Bark Town as well. The battle with her Rattata when she first used Flare her charmander. Along with that she had fought someone who thought a certain pokemon was the best and nothing else who she managed to beat. So much had happened around there that it felt nice to be back. With that she decided to try some wild pokemon in the route before seeing her parents again. After all it would be nice for Sarara to test her pokemon's strengh since last time they were here.
(Ooc: It's always tricky, when people wants feedback. I love to write and get feedback to better myself, but not everyone can take criticism, even when it's constructive. I'm curious what sort of person you are in this regard... Now, this is me testing the grounds. If you really want constructive criticism, I'll be happy to try and help.
To start off simple: misspellings. It always helps a text, if the writer takes the time to proofread. Just one or two times to start with, to catch the worst glaring mistakes that inevitable happens in the heat of the moment. You were tired, when you wrote this first post? Your tendency to misspell seems a bit more present in this short post, than I've noticed before. Or maybe just hurried. I know I haven't given you much to work on here for your next post. There's the weather, and the immediate situation at hand, not much else. You don't necessarily have to instigate a battle. Go whichever way you feel could be fun.)
It wasn't the best of times to return to New Bark. The weather had turned for the worse, bringing down the wrath of gods to the part of Johto that often proclaimed themselves blessed by serene winds and sunshine. Maybe they were being punished for their arrogance. Whatever the cause, no living being in their right mind dared expose themselves to the elements this day. Or maybe not. Sarara was out, so there could very well be other unfortunate souls out along with her. As she looked around, a strange keening sound emitted from a nearby bush. The leaves were taking a nasty beating from the hails raining down, and should Sarara investigate further, a purple rat would immediately spring out clicking its teeth at her in fright.
The Rattata let its eyes flit around, like it was looking for something, and the keening sound erupted from its drenched body. It didn't really look at Sarara again after coming out in the open. Something was obviously off. The question was, what would Sarara do about it?
Encounter Weather: Summer hail. The air is hot and heavy, only lightened briefly by rain and thunderstorms. Unfortunately, the thunderstorms bring hail too, and that is going to hurt!
A Rattata (level 5) crosses your path. What will you do?
OOC: yer my spelling have always been bad with this laptop but it would be much worse on a phone. Plus the fact i don't notice things as much on a screen doesn't help either. I might have to start writing my posts on my MS Word replacement but who knows. And as for constructive criticism go ahead, it isn't like you can say anything that is worse then my low muse it self anyway. I have also tried to be a bit more descriptive to see how that works.
Sarara looked up to see clouds letting down some good old summer hail. She just smiled not bothering to put her hood up because in her mind it was just frozen rain. Besides Sarara loved hail anyway it was one of the ways she could show she wasn't girly to boys that tried to say otherwise. With that said Sarara heard the rustling of the leaves and spotted the Ratata and grabbed a pokeball ready. She remembered getting one herself and so decided to recreate Flare's first battle to see what may happen. Luckily once she threw the pokeball it was her trusty Flare that had popped out. He looked up at the hail before shaking some hail off him before focusing on the Ratata. It was confused at first thinking it was Marchel but when he looked back and sure Sarara had only gt out one pokeball he realised it was a different Ratata.
At moment Sarara spook given Flare his orders before pointing at the Ratata which she always did in battles, "OK Flare use Ember!" Flare nodded at his trainer before getting fire in his mouth ready. This made Sarara thin back once more to her first ever battle with Flare. He had learned to her from the start and wouldn't give up that fight. Even though Flare didn't know Sarara then he was willing to battle for her and protect her as well. That day Sarara had also got good tips from the Professor which she would always remember. After a while though she shook her herself out of it before looking at the battle that would commence soon.
