Think of a famous person or celebrity etc... And think of what their signature Pokemon would be.
So as example:
Arnold Schwarzenegger would have Machoke/Metagross.
Machoke for the weight lifting aspect and Metagross as it's the closest sort of Pokemon that relates to his role in Terminator.

Millie Bobby Brown would most likely have a psychic Pokemon (her performance as Elle/Jane). Considering how she's portrayed when she uses her powers (lifting people up, 'shoving' them with her powers, even strangling them) I would probably say Alakazam as the OG anime would often do a lot of these things with Alakazam, too.

I could see Ryan Reynolds using some very trickster-ish Pokemon, given his love for jokes and general Deadpool-ness. Like a Misdreavus or Impidimp, maybe.

Coming back to this again... Robin Williams... I could see him having a phanpy and an aipom. Maybe a ralts because of the emotion side of it.
Definitely a togepi for the happiness part. Maybe blissey, too.
For his last pokémon, I'd like to think either he keeps it open in case he finds any new friends or just something really 'fun', like a Mr. Mime.
