Name: Lux Aziel
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Trainer Type: A normal trainer, although would not mind switching to another class if the chance arose.
Hometown: Mahogany Town
Appearance: Lux is tall, he stands at a 5"8' with long legs and a wiry build. His legs and limbs seem agile and quite nearly skeletal, a guy that seems slightly underweight with prominent ribs and spine. With this, his gait is long and takes up quite a bit of space. Typically, many shorter people have some trouble keeping up with him when his strides are so long, as well as the fact that he already walks so fast regardless. With such a quick build, Lux has no problems with running and quick turns, less weight making it easy to carry himself over far distances with good pacing. However, Lux has barely any muscles and it shouldn't be expected of him to even do one pull-up with such a small amount of upper-body strength.
Lux has wide, dark brown eyes that are usually gleaming with his next move or another idea to cause some trouble. His almond-shaped eyes are complimented by a similarly colored mane atop his head, a fluffy, nearly spikey head of hair that is shorter on the sides but longer on the top. Sporting olive-colored skin, Lux is often sporting a somewhat mischievous smile on his defined features and is never seen without a dark backpack that he keeps all his stuff in. As for style, Lux doesn't care too much about fashion and can often be seen wearing a dark black coat with fuzz around the hood, and doesn't even take it off in the Summer, merely rolls the sleeves up. Odd, but surely he has a reason to do so.
Personality: From the beginning, Lux has always prized his own independence. He often prioritized relying on himself and himself alone and often has a hard time trusting others with tasks or other such things. Despite this, Lux also wants to be relied on. He likes the feeling that people might look up to him enough to delegate something they need done to him, a feeling he always cherishes and makes sure to keep safe. However, he will always want to take care of himself before taking care of others; he doesn't quite describe this as being selfish though. He sees this trait as a certain-degree of self-care, something he believes everyone should possess.
Lux has a hard time opening up to others. His trust is a trophy to be won and fought for, and not something he gives away easily. He's reserved, secretive, and mysterious, someone who keeps his private life away from public eye and constantly refrains from over sharing, or simply talking about his past or experiences in general. Some think this as unfriendly, but it's just that he's been hurt in the past and ever since then, he's brought up walls that further seem to alienate himself from those that care for him.
Despite this air of mystery, trouble always seems to follow Lux's footsteps. He loves pranks and generally causing small uproars from small actions that cause a landslide. He often watches and snickers from the side, a mischievous and wild spirit that doesn't take kindly to anyone attempting to control him. Despite this, Lux manages to keep most situations light-hearted, even if they are tense and awkward. Always seeming to crack jokes once in the company of friends, he knows how to lighten a mood without quite trying.
History: Lux was born a trouble-maker. The only child of two young parents, most of their attention was directed on him, but even then he somehow managed to slip under the radar. Known by neighbors as the kid that 'accidentally' broke their windows or tore up their gardens, Lux didn't mean to cause grief. He just wanted fun and has always been bored with repetition, so to break the cycle, he does something new and exciting. It didn't put him in the favor of most during his younger age, but his parents loved him and he loved his parents, so, he figured he could simply go without many close friendships aside from family.
Soon enough, when Lux reached the minimum age, he entered the local Trainer School in Violet City. Soon, despite preconceived opinions on friendships and forming close bonds, he met a young girl named Lilith and they became somewhat close friends, despite being severely one-sided. Lilith had her own friend group and Lux just sort of followed along, despite the morally ambiguous choices the clique made. Lux knew he and Lilith had differences, but he wanted to be her friend so kept trying, often trying to open up to her, give her gifts, and other things in the area of befriending her, yet she never quite appreciated him.
Eventually, Lux managed to do something Lilith and her Clique didn't like, and since that, chaos ensued. Lilith turned on him, spread rumors, gossiped, did anything she could to lower his reputation in the Trainer School. Her friends tried to public ally humiliate and shame him, and eventually, Lux didn't put up with it anymore. Promptly, he and his family moved a city away, to Cherrygrove City, a place where Lux eventually became bored once more. So, packing up his bags, he waved goodbye to his parents and headed over to New Bark City to start his Pokemon Journey.
Goals: Simply, Lux wants excitement. Pranks get old after a while, dealing with drama is stressful, and living in a city with nothing going on is torture. So, he set out to grab a Pokemon simply because he was bored with his current life, despite recent escape from drama, and wanted to bring something shiny and new into the boring repetition. Sure, Lux still does pranks, but only sparingly, because he's grown tired of the dull act of watching the reactions of others.
Other Info: - Lux, if he had not chosen the route of a trainer, would have been a great actor! He's skilled at stepping into the shoes of another life and loves putting on an act.
- Don't touch his coat, ever. For some reason, he's got some weird emotional attachment to it.
- Lux adores dog-esque Pokemon!! He used to have a Houndour named Lithium as a pet when he lived with his parents and would jump at a chance to capture some dog Pokemon.
- Has a massive book at home with a bunch of pranks in it.
- Lux has a hard time with commitment, and doesn't do well in long-term relationships. He just finds people boring after a few weeks of constantly being with them.
