(ooc: updated pokemon team, Placido, Mads, Cyan, Swablu and Thyra, who has been given the XP-share)
Astrid and her team made it safely back to Cherrygrove after their little training trip to the route that lead to New Bark time. Astrid was pleased with it, neither of her pokemon had fainted and most of them seemed more confident than when they had started out. They all enjoyed sitting inside and watch the hail drum down on everything outside, while sitting in the comfortable heat inside the Pokemoncenter. The clouds didn't lastlong though and already the day after, it was too hot to stay inside for long, unless you spent the time near a fan.
Astrid made a few changes on her team, before she went out an early morning, in the hope of getting out before it got too hot. It was already warm and the sun was shining harshly, but at least it was bearable. Placido, Cyan and Mads was all with her again as she wanted to give them a chance to strengthen their growing friendship. Thyra was brought along too since Astrid wanted to see what the pokemon could and get to know her better. The audino had been given the funny hat, which Yakul had used until now, and strangely enough it easily fitted both pokemon. Thyra seemed happy for her temporary gift and laughed at the three other pokemon's tricks and ideas.
They reached the forest that surrounded the city and enjoyed the shadow that the canopy gave them. It was all fun and pleasant until Thyra stopped and shushed the others to try listen to something that was beyond their ears. She gestured them frantically for them to follow and lead them to a small cage hanging in a tree. Inside a swablu was sitting and though it looked rather beaten up, it looked at them with a steady gaze and it was easy to reassure it, they were here to help. It took a couple of tries for Astrid's pokemon to open the cage, but with the old womans guidiance they managed to pry the cage open enough for the trapped bird to squeeze out. The swablu decided it wanted to join Astrid, he liked the calm old woman and he saw that she was worried about the news of a pokemon hunter in the area. "The trap is old, but looks like it has been put up recently," Astrid said as she looked closer at it, "we must see if we can find any other clues we can give to the police so they can capture the culprit." The swably made a happy tune, and looked expectantly at the woman.
They didn't get far before Thyra heard something again and they hurried after her, as she ran through the trees like she had heard some sort of emergency. Astrid worried that the audino would take them to a direct confrontation with the poacher, but it was soon made clear that if this was the poacher, it was really an emergency. Sounds of threatening growls mixed with the voice of a young boy who frightened called for help.

The cries that Thyra’s keen ears had picked up were soon identified as Astrid and her squad reached a large clearing in the woods. A young schoolkid was sat awkwardly on the grass, fearfully backing away from something. Behind him were a trio of baby Pokémon, practically bawling their eyes out. If Astrid was particularly well-versed in Pokémon young, she’d know these as Azurill, Budew and Chingling. On closer inspection, she would also find three black canines slowly approaching the boy, growling ferociously. The child tried his best to discourage them, which was probably not the wisest approach given the angered looks on the Pokémon’s faces. “S-s-s-stop! Bad dogs!” The ‘dogs’ replied with a loud bark each, not giving the boy an inch. “P-please! Don’t!” The Pokémon opposite him, three Houndour to be precise, advanced quicker in reply to this quick change of persona. This prompted the lad to leap to his feet and run away as quickly as his short legs would take him, crying for help. His companions did the same, though their voices were muffled by tears. After a few steps, his gaze turned on Astrid and her Pokémon. He fixed his glasses, which had fallen slightly askew in the commotion, before running straight for her. “O-oh thank Arceus, someone heard me!” the kid shouted as he approached his apparent saviour. The relief he felt was obvious from his tone of voice. He quickly ran behind Astrid, seemingly using her as a meat-shield. The Houndour slowed down, noticing Astrid’s squad beside her. They simply snarled; it wasn’t clear how long it’d be before they attacked. “Please, you’re a trainer, aren’t you? Help! These Houndour just attacked! I was only reading with my Pokémon. I did nothing, I swear!” The babies arrived on these words and nodded vigorously in agreeance. The boy stood shivering for a couple of moments before an idea occurred to him. “Oh, of course, my Pokémon! I’m- I’m not a trainer. I barely know anything about battles, actually. But my Pokémon can help you if you want! Just... just please use your own too. I’m not sure I can watch my friends…” The kid gulped audibly as his voice trailed off, his train of thought becoming a little grim. The baby Pokémon stepped up in front of Astrid, their fear fading slightly since the appearance of the elderly stranger.

Astrid quickly fell behind as Placido and Araceli hurried ahead after Thyra, who ran like it was a question of life and death. Astrid walked as fast as she could and was soon panting heavily, but she kept going. Cyan looked nervously around and stayed close while Mads had to actually work to keep up with her, and he shot her worried glances once in a while.
Thyra stopped abruptly when she saw the scene in front of her and she cried out to the boy to try reassure him help was on the way. Araceli on the other hand didn't hesitate, he was well aware the houndours needed to be distracted for the boy to get away, and he dived straight for the nearest in the hope of Astonishing it. Placido was a bit slower but started to hum at the nearest target, slowly building up a song that would roll back and forth and strengthen itself by its echo.
As Astrid finally arrived the boy finally jumped into life and raced towards her, pleading her to help him. She gestured for him to come over having no breath to speak at the moment. Thyra went to calm down the young pokemon, while she kept an eye on the houndour, ready to go protect anyone around her should it be necessary. "Oh, you little bell one, can you growl at the houndours, so they think we're all going to face them?" Thyra asked the chingling, she guessed it would be able to make some kind of sound, since it tingled everytime it moved. If the houndours thought they were outnumbered, perhaps they would run away?
"Are you alright?" Astrid asked the boy as soon as she was able to, and quickly added to calm him, "everything will be ok, I will not let them harm you." She smiled warmly as she placed a hand on his shoulder and offered him a hug if he wanted one. "My name is Astrid, what is yours?" She asked to take his mind a bit off the threat and calm him more. "And what are you doing out here all by yourself?" Astrid asked as she looked around, no adults were in sight and she found that he was terrible far away from Cherrygrove. "Have you gone lost?"
Astrid looked at the houndours, it should be able for her pokemon to keep them abay for now but she needed a plan. There could still be poachers around, and how did the houndours fit into that? First thing first though, she needed to protect the boy and his young inexperienced pokemon. With two water types on her team they shouldn't be too difficult, and if she couldn't get any information otherwise, she would have to send the swablu out on a scouting trip.

[Apologies for a drop in writing halfway through; I came back to this later and was a little tired. I may try to polish it a little if it remains unanswered by tomorrow afternoon.]“Oh… thank you, kind old lady!” the young lad said, now sounding incredibly relieved. He flew into Astrid’s arms and hugged her tightly, a lone tear rolling down his cheek. “I, er, my name is Jimmy, ma’am. I live over in Cherrygrove. I was just out here with my friends here,” he gestured to his Pokémon at this moment, “just reading my book – a real interesting one about Johto folklore – when these things attacked. My Pokémon were just playing too, so they didn’t do anything! I promise!” He almost seemed surprised by the ‘lost’ comment though. “Lost? Oh, oh no. I often come out here. It’s usually nice and quiet. Real relaxing. But those Houndour… they’re not usually here. They look kinda angry about something, now that I think about it.” Jimmy pondered over something, looking back at the scary Houndour that had threatened his very life just moments ago. After its discussion with Thyra, Chingling stepped forward. It was quite nervous, but ready to help out with the battle as per Jimmy’s request. “Yeah, go get ‘em, Chingling! I believe in you!” Jimmy called out in support, though this didn’t seem to help the young one at all. It shivered in fear, the bell inside ringing softly as it did so. This seemed to egg on the Houndour a little, who advanced angrily. With Aracelli and Placido backing up the Chingling, it was now quite obvious who the opponents would be for these dogs. One of them now stepped up and fired a powerful Ember attack at the apparent weak link, Chingling. The flames peppered the little Psychic, causing it to shake more in terror. One of the Houndour’s teammates joined in the Chingling singeing, launching its own series of Embers. Despite all these attacks, though, Chingling remained quite conscious and able to move. The last Houndour seemed to decide that the Psychic was too far to bother with, and instead fired the same attack at Placido. The Whismur stood firm, fire smacking him in the face but not deterring him at all. He was ready for a brawl, it seemed. On the finishing of the pack’s last attack, Aracelli made her first move. She darted incredibly quickly toward the nearest Houndour and poked it lightly, startling it a little. Fortunately for the Houndour, it had already attacked by this point. Had it not, it might’ve not been ready to move. Next was Chingling, who was just about getting used to the idea of battling. It growled half-fiercely at the canine directly opposite it, rather surprising the Houndour. The Dark/Fire combination backed off a little, looking perturbed by the newfound spunk from Chingling. Last to act was Placido, who screeched at the top of his little voice. The noise echoed throughout the clearing, defying all known laws of physics, and caused quite some discomfort to two of the Houndour closest to him. The widespread nature of the move was quite helpful here, it appeared. Jimmy jumped up in the air jubilantly. “Yeah! Well done, guys!” He didn’t seem to realise much of what was actually going on, but he was appreciating the efforts at the very least. Astrid quickly pulled the boy into a firm hug, happy he wasn't panicking. She was either more comforting that she had hoped, or perhaps there were more to this boy than meets the eye. Astrid was hoping for the last. As she trusted her pokemon to keep the houndours busy on their own, she paid Jimmy full attention for now and listened closely to what he could tell her. She glanced at his pokemon, when he talked about them playing, and confirmed her first thought, that they were unexperienced in fighting and were more playmates for the boy than anything else. She watched worried for a moment as his chingling stepped forward, but she hoped her own pokemon would be able to keep it safe, if necessary. What Jimmy told her made her conclude that houndours wasn't native to the area, the question was if they were just a coincidence or if they had something to do with the poacher, who was roaming around? "Something is not right, but I am going to find the cause," Astrid said determined and smiled to Jimmy. "Tell me boy, have you seen anyone else out here today? Or net or cages?" Astrid asked almost casually. "You can do it, little one!" Thyra shouted necouraging to the chingling as it stood facing the houndors. The little thing was shaking but Thyra was sure it would make all the difference in this battle! The fire dogs attacked her new little friend, who were terrified but in the end paid them back with a tingling growl that made them witdraw a bit. "See!? They fear you now," the audino called cheerfully and hoped she hadn't push the little bell into something that was way over its head. Aracelli pushed himself as much as he could, but to his regret he wasn't quick enough. The ones he was trying to protect got attacked before he even got close to his target. His wings were too fluffy for fast divings like he had seen taillow and spearow do. The houndour seemed a bit surprised but not as much as the swablu would have hoped for. It would take too long to try for another surprise dive, especially with so little effect, so he chose a full frontal attack instead. "Swaaaa!" He screamed and flew straight at Havoc with the intend of covering it with Pecks. Placido closed his eyes shut as the embers surrounded him, but he refused to stop and stayed to endure while he build up his momentum and air. The first of his singing-cry was barely over, before he started the next one, even louder than the one before. The sound of her two own pokemon draw Astrid's attention and as pleased she was with their progress, she couldn't help but worry for the chingling, who had become the target of 2/3 of the houndors. "Mads, please. Go help it!" She urged to her alomomola, and the water fish hurried forwards as fast as it was possible for a fish out of water. (ooc: Aracelli is a male Placido uses Echoed Voice, Aracelli uses Peck on Havoc, Mads switches with chingling.)

“Seen anyone?” Jimmy asked confusedly. He readjusted his glasses, trying to understand his bodyguard’s question. “I don’t see too many people, no. It’s usually a real quiet place, that’s why we like it. I mean… sometimes you see people walking around, but much less than most places for sure.” the kid answered slowly. He still looked pensive though, thinking about anyone that might have looked suspicious or otherwise conspicuous. “Are you looking for someone, ma’am?” After he finished that question, his eyes lit up brightly. “Oh! Come to think of it… I guess I’ve seen a couple of nets around. Well, bits of them. I didn’t really get a good look.” Looking proud of himself, the young boy didn’t seem to quite understand the implications of what he had just told Astrid. The concept of Pokémon poaching was perhaps something he’d been shielded from, being a kid. The Houndour continued to snarl, but Jimmy barely noticed them now. Having a trainer by his side was most certainly giving him a sense of safety. The growls were enough to give Chingling a fright, though, and it was quite relieved when a big Alomomola came to guard it. The Psychic type thanked its replacement weakly and slowly toddled back to its companion’s side, shaking a little. Jimmy threw himself over his friend and cheered. “Oh man, Chingling, you were so cool out there. Your Growl was so scary!” Chingling chirped softly, not sounding particularly convinced by its trainer’s kind words. It had been quite intimidated by this little taste of battle, to say the least. The Houndour roared as soon as they saw Mads step forth, quickly labelling the newcomer as another opponent. The nearest Houndour acted first, staring Mads down with an angry glare. Mads met its gaze, perhaps unwisely, and shivered softly in his place. Though still quite able to battle, he looked a little less comfortable now. The remaining two dogs howled once more, both letting loose a thick smog from their mouths at the same time. The two attacks combined into one massive cloud, which soon engulfed the entire clearing. Jimmy coughed and spluttered, trying his best to speak up with his mouth covered. “I th-think I know… this one… it’s… a S-S-Smog, right? Y-you see it… a lot… on TV. Criminals l-like to use it to es-es… escape the law. At least… I think that’s… the r-r-right move.” he said in-between coughs. Each Pokémon within the purple haze in front of them was having similar issues with their breathing, even the Houndour themselves. This attack looked like it had backfired a little. The heavy smoke quickly dissipated, leaving Jimmy able to talk fluently again. “If I recall correctly, Smog’s supposed to be real poisonous to Pokémon. Kinda makes you wonder how all those TV guys take it without any lasting problems. I guess it’s weaker on humans…” he mused loudly. Looking back at the combatants, it was quite clear that all of Astrid’s Pokémon were still suffering as a bout of poison started sinking in. One of the Houndour winced itself, poison completing the backfire of its teammate’s attack. The final words were left with Astrid and her Pokémon, as before. First, Aracelli temporarily shook off the nausea that HE was feeling to start a counter attack. The fluffy, blue bird flapped his wings and charged out toward the nearest Houndour. Eyes narrowed, he was quite ready to make an impact now. He swooped down on the Fire type and pecked fiercely, causing Houndour to cringe and cower in pain. Placido then took a deep breath and started singing raucously once again. The painful melody echoed throughout the clearing, causing two of the pack to whimper as their eardrums rang. Unfortunately, Aracelli also seemed to suffer. He closed his eyes tightly, screaming in discontent. The cacophony continued for a few seconds, and the middle Houndour couldn’t take much of it. With Aracelli still perched on its face, it fell to the floor, unable to do any more. Noticing this, the remaining canines screeched in shock. With the leader down, they seemed just a shade upset. Not that they’d be backing down any time soon, of course. [So as I did Smog, I realised that I STILL screwed up the sound moves last round, as they should really be hitting allies too. So THIS time they’re properly implemented (no, I haven’t added damage for last round; that’s unfair and stupid). Chuck a complaint my way if you have any.]

Astrid was relieved that Jimmy hadn't run into some trouble, and she wasn't really surprised either as poachers often went far to stay out of sight if possible. From what she knew, poachers would need a direct confrontation to not try just sneak away with the poached pokemon. "Perhaps, though I don't think they want me to find them," Astrid said and winked, like she was looking for some unruly grandchildren. "If you another time stumbles across some nets hanging around, it would be really good if you go and tell the police or Nurse Joy," Astrid told the boy a bit more serious, "they would be really glad to know." No need for him to be scared, so Astrid only gave him a part of the reason.
"It really is something, you have trained it good," Astrid praised both the chingling and Jimmy, she was about to ask for its name, when the battle demanded her attention. She frowned when the houndours used smog, which she recognized as well. It was different than the few times she had seen it, it mostly looked like they had been trained to make it more effective, but that it had failed them. The effect was still devastating, but hit the users themselves as well. It didn't look good and Astrid hoped she had brought enough healing items with her.
"Stay here Jimmy, Thyra and Cyan, look after him," Astrid ordered and stepped forward, with a potion in hand. Placido took a deep breath, ignoring the shivering that ran thorugh his body, and coughed as something god sprayed directly into his mouth. "Drink, it will give you energy," Astrid said as she emptied the rest of the potion into the whismur's mouth, he obeyed as he realized how weak he felt, now he wasn't concentrating on singing. "Araceli, koncentrate on the other over there, this one is going to pass out soon anyway," Astrid ordered the swablu, who changed his path and focused his pecks on the most healthy houndour instead. "Mads, can't you weaken their fire attacks? If they switch to that they will probably burn down the forest," Astrid said gravely and Mads grinned to her before he spayed a spout of water into the air. It was thin and wouldn't hurt anyone, but it raised the humidty a great deal.
Astrid withdraw back to the others and ruffled Jimmy's hair to show it wasn't as bad as it may seem. She had faith in her pokemon and she was sure they were able to handle these three, which the PokemonCenter could take care of afterwards, while she informed the police of her findings.
(ooc: from what I can tell from Bulbapedia and Serebii, neither Echoed Voice nor Smog hits more than one target, though I though at least Echoed Voice did. Instead of trying to get it cleared up, and because I got the advantage of the error with echoed voice last round, I'm going to just play along and enjoy the unexpected extra challenging and fun battle! ^^ Potion on Placido, Araceli uses Peck on Abyss, Mads uses Water Sport.)

Pulling Placido aside, the woman used a bottle of potion to heal up the normal type's Pokemon, who was in danger of passing out from the battle. After drinking the potion, Placido got back on his feet and hopped back into the battle. However, one of the Houndour was tired of this and retaliated with an ember attack. It wasn't happy to see that its previous attempts of attack were treated like nothing. The ember got Placido in a panic to hop left and right and turning around to dodge them, but only a few of the sparks got onto the normal type, phew. The other Houndour though, wanted to avenged its fallen leader by taking out an ember attack on Aracelli. Perhaps Astrid was right that they could be turning back to a fire type attack. Thankfully though, the fires weren't enough to start a wildfire. Some grass were singed from the attack, but the muddy soil beneath the ground had been kicked around in the battle to help dampen the grass. Aracelli and Mads then went and do their work. Mads shot up water in the sky, which then dispersed and splashed around the area, making the grasses wetter, and possibly muddier. Now fire type attacks were weakened. Then, the Swablu flew forward and pecked the opponent. However, the last canine was still standing and the sharp beak attack wasn't enough to bring down the Pokemon yet. "We got only one left! Wow! You're such a strong trainer!" Jimmy cried excitedly, as he couldn't believe that he went from about to die literally to living with this incredible memory of having his life saved!

Astrid barely got back to Jimmy before it was clear she was needed in the field once more. She quickly looked through her back for another potion and something to help Placido, who didn't looked well. She found a berry that she thought she remembered would help, and worried she didn't have much healing stuff in her trolley. She hadn't expected to be involved in such tough battle around the peaceful areas of Cherrygrove. She wasn't prepared for a battle against venomous pokemon or a long battle and she usually packed lightly to have as little as possible to pull. She scolded herself for not remembering what she learned while working for the Police: be prepared for the unexpected! Not that she was on the frontline back then and there had always been officers around to protect her and the other helpers, but she had learned the importance of good preparation. She had slacken off in her time in retirement, that was clear.
Placido jumped around wheesing as she tried to avoid the flames. He wasn't as steady on his feet as he used to be and he couldn't avoid them all. He didn't care much about it thought as the poison raced through his body and made him shiver. He really didn't feel good. Astrid called out to him and something rolled over the gorund to end at his feet. He looked down uninterested at the berry, something in his mind told him he should eat it but the nausea made him want to throw up just by the thought of eating anything. "Eat it!" A voice demanded and Placido looked shiering up into the face of an audino. Was he at the PokemonCenter now? Thyra picked up the berry and used all her convinving skills, that mostly come from so many of her species working for the Nurse Joys, and manged to get the whismur to eat the pecha berry.
Aracelli dived straight through the embers sent at him, ignoring them as he threw everything he got at the houndour. He wasn't as powerful as he had hoped and he landed on the ground afterwards, fighting to get back on his feet and continue the battling, while his opponent was still standing. Astrid appeared beside him and he soon felt his strength return, though the pain from the poison still bothered him. He forced himself back up on his feet and looked determinded at the last standing enemy.
Mads watched scared as his comrade fell for the attacks from the houndours, his weaking of the fire coming too late to help them at first. Luckily Astrid was already on the move and Thyra too, to help them get back on their feet before it was all over. Mads hurried forward, the mud making it a bit easier for him to move, and he placed himself in between Aracelli and the dark furred fire dog. He lashed out with his fin.
Having done what she could for her brave fighters, Astrid withdraw back to Jimmy to watch once more, making sure Thyra came along and was well out of danger from the last houndour. "It will soon be over, don't worry," Astrid said reassuringly to Jimmy and thanked him for his praise with a smile. She didn't comment she didn't agree with him at all, no need to worry the child more than necesasary and her whole team should be able to deal with one single opponent, right?

Taking care of her weakened Pokemon, Astrid pulled Aracelli and Placido aside, and helped the two normal Pokemon to recover whatever that they needed. The flying Pokemon's health was more in danger, so she gave Aracelli a potion for recovery, and Placido's poison was hindering the poor quiet Pokemon, so a potion was used instead. Placido fought through the nausea to eat the Pecha berry, and once the berry was done, he vomited one final time to let the poison out, and felt refreshed! He readily went back to the field, but not before squeaking a thank to his trainer. Oh, and he was eating quietly too! Aracelli gave Astrid a cheerful chirp before returning to the fray, though the poison still made the bird looked sickly. Mads was the only one who went to face the remaining Houndour head on. The two exchanged a fierce swap of giant fin slapping, and volley of embers. The Houndour wasn't giving up, but the water sport earlier by the water Pokemon had weakened the injury of that fire attack. When Mads returned by his comrades, he closed his eyes and glowed gently, just not bright enough to hurt anyone's eyes. The soft glow seemed to infect Aracelli. Afterwards, both Pokemon didn't have the nauseating look on them anymore. "What was that? What was that just now? It looked so cool!" Jimmy hollered, excited from whatever that Mads did just now.

It was tough for Placido to swallow the berry, he didn't feel like it but Thyra was relentless and to his relief he soon started to feel better. He got enough energy to push Thyra out of harms way as the houndour attacked once more, though he was too weak to avoid it himself. He then watched as the dog succumbed to its own poison and fainted. He had no sympathy with it, it had spread the poison itself afterall, and it was its own mistake that it had been affected by it too. Thyra went back to the humans and the younger pokemon waiting there.
Astrid couldn't help but smile when Mads glowed gently and both he and the swablu looked to feel much better. She was getting optimistic they would win this battle and it was good to know she could stop the houndours from terrorizing the area anymore. "It is his ability, he can sometime heal himself and his friends of things like poison," Astrid explained to the boy. "There are not many pokemon who knows and Nurse Joys who works at the sea often has help from alomomolas for exactly that reaons. They are the Audinos of the sea." "You are almost there my friends, a little more and it is over," Astrid then called out to her pokemon to urge them to finish the battle.
Mads had tried several times without luck, but finally his own poisoning got so bad that his body started to do something about it. He sighed with relief when the pain lifted and the only tiredness he felt was physical exhaustion from battling. It was hard to move around on land. He continued though and tried once more to slap the remaining houndour with his back fin. They were almost there and even though the embers thrown at him did still hurt, it wasn't much.
Aracelli muttered a thanks to the fish for his help, intentional or not. He did not need Astrid's urging to continue and he charged forward beak first, straight at the last houndour. Only one more and it was over.
(ooc: Aracelli uses Peck and Mads uses Pound, both on Abyss)

Aracelli’s peck attack pierced the remaining Houndour’s skin and sent him flying back with a howl. Abyss was not going to back down, a ball of flame was hurled towards Mads’ direction but his resistance towards fire types made the embers bounce off with barely any affliction. Mads’ retort ended off Abyss and it was evident that he would not be winning this battle. He nudged his fellow Houndour and limped away (as fast as they could.) They all went into three different paths, left, straight ahead, or right. Astrid should keep this in mind when she decides what to do next.
“Thank you lady! I can’t thank you enough! What you did was really heroic; you saved me and my Pokemon!” Jimmy exclaimed, a large smile was on his face. Chingling tugged wrapped its ribbons around Astrid’s arm and let out a little chime which meant “thank you!” “It seems like Chingling wants to go with you! Would you like to keep Chingling? You two seem to hit it off great together! Oh! I also have something else for you as well! This little item is very useful for training Pokemon who evolve through happiness!” Jimmy exclaimed. Azuril and Budew looked in the distance at the paths where Houndour fled towards, worried if they should ever come back…

Aracelli glared furiosuly at the houndour and huffed annoyed when the dog refused to stay down. Mads was right behind him though, took the payback embers from the houndour and slammed it in the ground with his big fin. "There are more to you than meets the eye," Aracelli grinned to Mads who smiled wryly back. The alomomola was used to other thinking he couldn't do much, but he wasn't sure if it was because of his color or that he was a fish.
Astrid smiled down to Jimmy and laughed when he praised her. "Thank the pokemon instead, it was them who did the fighting and saving," She answered him and smiled down to the chingling that now clung to her arm. Luckily it wasn't very heavy so she could actually bear carrying her. "Hello there little one, are you happy?" She asked the chingling who chimed as answer. Astrid looked surprised at a Jimmy and looked down at the chingling. "Are you sure?" She asked them both and laughed when the chingling bounced up and down and hid its face when she looked at it. She thanked Jimmy for the gift while looked closely at him for any signs that he didn't wanted to part with the pokemon or the little bell, but couldn't find any. She gave the bell to the chingling instantly and accepted its pokeball as well.
"We better get the houndours back to the town so the police... where are they?" Astrid exclaimed when she noticed the houndours weren't where they had fainted. Most of the pokemon pointed towards where the houndours had went and Astrid saw the last one of the disappear in between the trees. "Why didn't you stop them? Why didn't you say anything?" Astrid asked her pokemon upset, "we can't have such dangerous pokemon running around freely." "Jimmy, I need you to return back to Cherrygrove, and please tell the police there are three dangerous houndours out here. I am going after them and will try get some of them into custedy, or at least keep a bit track. They are tired and beaten now, so they will not be a big threat at the moment, but that will chance in time."
Astrid would make sure Jimmy was on his way back home, before she hurried after where she had seen the houndour disappear to. The chingling looked after Jimmy when he left but cheered up again when Astrid gave it a Lumiose Galette and told her she was going to call her Amanda.

(Updated all of the items!) “Okay! I’ll go get Officer Jenny!” Jimmy exclaimed, happy to help in any way he can. Azuril and Budew readily ran off with Jimmy in order to get the authorities to stop these evil Houndour. Off into the distance they ran, but the Houndour lead right to a little farm where a man with a large beard sat on his porch.
The man looked up to see a stranger walking down his lane, what could she be doing here? He had never seen this woman before, and the attire she wore insinuated that she was not from anywhere near here. “Darn it!” he muttered to himself. This must be because of his naughty Houndour, those pesky little pups were causing all sorts of ruckus in the area.
When the woman strode up near him, he panicked. “Is this about a herd of Houndours? Are they causing trouble?!” The farmer didn’t want to give up his Houndour, but they were not behaving or listening to him at all! What was he to do? They never stayed in their Pokeballs and were constantly in a pissy mood. “What should I do?! I can imagine why they’re acting out!”
On the porch there is a dog bowl full of food items for Pokemon, perhaps one of the items is making the Houndour upset?

Running was not a thing Astrid was capable of any more, but he did walk as fast as she could with her cane and pulling her trolley after her. Had they all moved in her speed the houndours would have had no problem slipping away and their adventure would have ended there. Astrid knew that risk though and she sent Aracelli ahead to keep track of the houndour they were following, which he did well. He even flew back and forth to make sure Astrid and co. were going in the right direction.
He landed on a fence and waited for Astrid to catch up with him. On the other side was a farm. It looked really peaceful and a man was sitting at the porch, looking like he enjoyed the day. "Is it here?" Astrid asked the swablu who nodded as answer. The man rose and walked towards her, so she started forwards again, to meet him halfway. He looked rather concerned and his direct question confirmed she was at the right place.
"It is, are they yours all three?" Astrid answered, "they were harassing a young boy and I had battle them to stop them." She frowned when the farmer complained that they didn't obay him. "Then why haven't you got any help to train them?" She asked sternly and continued with a sigh, "perhaps I can help you." "In which situations are they making problems and what do they do then?" She asked to pintpoint the problem. She did see that there lay a bowl with food (and wondered about the weird mix) but since farms usually had plenty of pokemon to feed and grew a lot of things to, she expected there were a reason for it.
(ooc: You are aware that I expected to go after the other houndours and meet the other things afterwards, right? Just confused since it sounds like all the houndours are here?)
