I'm a bit behind but nevertheless, I think its a good idea to get a topic going on after Phoenix showed this last week. After seeing The Power of One and being able to compare it to the first one I thought the first one was infinitely better and the Power of One was a little bit weak but having seen the third one I didn't think it was all that bad. Certainly had it's moments and it made me view the Unown in an entirely different light. They should be renamed to: THE KIDNAPPING POKEMON in their Pokedex entry.

Unfortunately, I missed the movie night.. again.
But this movie terrified me as a child, gave me nightmares. Horror movies didn't give me nightmares, but the idea of a crystal world created by a girl's imagination involving bringing her dead father back to life, a swarm of ancient Pokémon that kidnap people, and stairs that fall away from under you... It's been a while since I saw it, but I don't have good memories. Not sure why. o__o

You mentioning disappearing stairs reminded me when Team Rocket were swimming under water and said something along the lines of: "How are we doing this?!" Still, it is pretty disturbing from a kid's point of view. Not quite the first movie with Mewtwo killing an entire facility of scientists and stealing trainer's Pokemon forcibly and then cloning them but still, dark nonetheless.
