So I'm trying to figure out which Pokemon to be Penelope's last team member and I need opinion on deciding
Whilipede Originally decision. it's bug and poison and could learn Toxic for me to breed. It'll fit penelope as a big jungle bug
Horsea Will evolve to Kingdra. gonna play with Sniper +scope lens set when I do. It'll be a female pokemon to balance out her team's gender, and also dragon type can help later in dragon gym (5 years later)
Remoreid/Octillery have type coverage but i honestly don't know how it'll fit her personality. it's the least forest/camping pokemon
Alolan Sandshrew it's cute and ice type coverage against dragon and flying type. but once again idk how to fit her camping personality
Chinchou have electric coverage but like octillery, not too camper like
Grubbin electric and bug, electric coverage and bug for the picnicker theme
Snover I can breed blizzard snover once it's the right level but it summon snow and that contradicts picnicker
Others: suggestions maybe? pokemon in Alex or ethan's box that i barely touched I have other starters from other gens but with Azumarill and Diggersby
This is clearly a case of "not seeing the wood for the trees". You've already posted the correct answer in the title. Politoed. :P
OK imma be serious. Put the gun away. Time for some pointlessly precise analysis! If you're bothered about typing, while Grubbin solves a glaring Flying weakness upon evolution to Charjabug, you're still left with 4 ice weaknesses. I'd be more inclined to shoot for AlolaShrew or Horsea/Chinchou if that's a concern. The Waters still get Ice moves, so they kinda kill Flying. As for fitting things into the picnicker theme... um... Chinchou provides light which one would need when camping? I dunno. Speaking of which, a Fire type'd be good for balance's sake if you care for that. Though you only seem to have a couple of those, neither of whom are untouched in the slightest.
I'd personally ignore type balance though; 's not -that- important in my opinion. With that said, Grubbin's quite a nice evo line.
Have you considered squad rotation, if you can't pick a solid 6? I personally feel like I'm gonna want to rotate a lot in this RP; it's hard to turn down anything at all. D:
