Gyarados - Gallade - Zoroark - Emboar - Luxray (Just for my future note) Psychic Gem given to Gallade, please. Luxray given Experience Share. Gyarados given Lucky Egg. IVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS YAAAASSS JUSTIN LOVES RAIKOU
Despite the moderate weather happening outside (Fall was an absolute lovely time of year) Justin couldn't help but shake a particular chill. He'd felt it within the Gym whilst battling Morty, but after he'd left the Ghost-infested arena it still lingered. Perhaps it was something about this town? He wanted to shake it off and chalk it up to adrenaline or nerves, but even his Pokemon seemed on edge. Something about this town was... off. Perhaps not 'wrong,' but definitely off. It wasn't until Simba approached Justin with the hair raised on the back of his neck that Justin felt validated.
"There's something up here. Something is awry and I can feel it all the way down in my bones."
Considering Simba had the keen eyesight, almost good enough to see through things, if his Luxray couldn't see anything but still felt it... Yeah, it was worth investigating. "I agree. It doesn't feel... bad? It just feels... like something is about to bubble over. Like when you're cookin' pasta and the bubbles are about to spew over because you haven't stirred." It was the best analogy Justin could think of on short notice, but the Luxray didn't call him out for it. The meaning was well enough, and the beast gave a nod.
"There's a surge of power here. Something is lurking, and I want to find it. As do you, I assume. Ecruteak is full of... legends. Myths, you might say." The wise Pokemon sat down next to his trainer and looked at the Burnt Tower. "I sense something there. It will be good training, and once we inspect the place i'm sure we'll feel better about the whole thing."
Simba made sense, so Justin nodded and returned his friend, shuffling around items and preparing for the trek. It would probably take all day, so Justin decided to pack light clothes. It wasn't too chilly, and in fact, was a bit warm for his liking so he wore his tank-top, camera and pants. There were probably spiders, so he didn't want to feel them crawling all over his legs. Yuck. His Raikou-striped tattoos stuck out against his tan skin and he kind of enjoyed showing them off, the weather was perfect for it. His lifelong dream of photographing a Raikou would come true one day, he just had to keep it up.
"Burned Tower it is."
He affirmed with a grunt, grabbing his bag and walking towards the entrance of the tower, paying little attention to the man standing in front of it as he slowly approached.

The burned tower had quite a legendary reputation to the people of Ecruteak City, it played a role in many stories about the town and it was connected in more ways than one to its sister tower the Bell Tower. Most of the townspeople knew the legends by heart but none more so than the mysterious man who saw Justin head towards the towers entrance. He had to tell the young lad the truth about the tower so he would be prepared for what lie ahead. " I say young man hold up a moment. The tower you are about to enter is very well known but I must have you be ready for what you may face. Please do not enter until I tell you the tale."As Justin stopped to heed his warning the man began his story. " My name is Eusine and I am a Pokemon tracker of sorts with a great deal of knowledge of this regions legends. There are countless legends of the Burned Tower and I know for certain they are all true. Powerful Pokemon call this tower home. I have caught glimpses of them in the night but I have never had a chance to battle them." After pausing a moment to make sure he did not reveal too much he continued. " The Pokemon live at the basement of the tower but they are very mighty creatures with far greater power then most Pokemon. I would like you to try and get a better look for me so I can confirm my suspicions but be ready for a tough battle. They are very timid creatures who run at the first sign of trouble but I have a feeling you can earn enough of their trust to no immediately run off. Please help me prove my theory." Eusine said as he was hoping Justin would be up to the task. Eusine asks you to help him identify the mysterious Pokemon in the basement of the Burned Tower. Do you wish to help out?

Using Birthday cake on Gallade, Zoroark and Luxray. Using 1 more Rare Candy on Luxray. Choosing the Charmeleon Firebreather Trainer, using Gyarados Aqua Tail.
The old, crumbling tower in front of them seemed abandoned so when the rather flamboyantly dressed Eusine rushed for Justin's attention, he was rather shocked. What is this strange man doing outside of the tower? He wondered to himself as he approached. Justin got the feeling the gentleman clad in purple was about to tell him just that. With a quick sweep of the area, Justin figured there was no real danger in stopping to chat for a moment. Besides, perhaps he had some relatively useful information. Simba wrinkled his nose slightly. Eusine had been out here all night.
"Alright, i'll bite. I won't step inside yet." Justin grunted, scratching at his shoulder when the breeze kicked up. "What's so important about this tower, anyways?" He knew the 'standard' tale, that Pokemon had been inside when it had burned down. What made that so special? It was incredibly unfortunate that the Pokemon had perished, of course, but how did that tie into Eusine?
It wasn't until Eusine began speaking about his profession that Justin's heart skipped a beat. This regions... legends? His tattoo seemed to itch once again as he thought about the three great beasts. There were whispers of other legendary Pokemon, but these legendary beasts were confirmed entities in the region. Justin didn't expect many people to know about them, especially young, budding trainers... but this news, for him, was absolutely extraordinary. He had changed from a lax, slightly irritated man being stopped to an explosion of energy and questions.
"You mean, the legendary beasts, right? Raikou, Suicune and Entei?" Justin asked, his hand steady as he tried not to grasp at his camera. The last thing he wanted to do was appear too eager and Eusine stop him from going inside. If what Eusine said was true, though... there could be one of his life's goals inside this tower at the very moment. It suddenly made sense to the Luxray as well. Eusine's smell was of desperation and fatigue, yes, but also mingled with excitement. Eusine wasn't the source of the 'off' feeling for the Pokemon, whatever powerful beast down in the depths below was. Simba shared a quick glance with Justin before letting Eusine continue.
Of course the beasts would run off. There were far too many people who'd be willing to try and capture the beasts and sell them for profit, especially Team Rocket. Injuring a legendary was nigh impossible, but Justin was sure people would try. All he wanted to do was capture their beauty within a safe frame. A single picture. If he could get that, then all of this would be worth it. Even better, perhaps he'd get out of this malaise he'd been feeling. The inadequacy as a trainer bit at him each day. This was just the pep up he needed, and his team needed. He knew just by looking at Simba. The feline's claws flexed in and out occasionally, as if gripping himself to the ground. If he didn't, he might fly away with excitement and anticipation.
"I think we can manage that. I've got a pretty strong and incredibly reliable team. We could probably get pretty far and see if we couldn't confirm that theory for you. I may have my own curiosities as well." Justin snickered, looking down at his exposed Raikou stripe tattoos. "Consider it done." Justin gave Eusine a friendly nod before stepping towards the entrance to the tower. Once out of earshot, Justin let out his breath and relaxed his shoulders. "I've been waiting a long time for this, Simba. A very long time." His palms began to sweat. "Let's go."

A squeak of joy could be heard as Justin departed Eusine's company. The photographer was a bit more careful when releasing his own excitement on the matter, but it seemed that both parties were simply bursting to get a view of the legendaries presumably nestled in the decrepit tower. It was no wonder the big three would choose such a desolate place. With all the other stories surrounding it most people avoid being in such a negative energy place. Talk of spirits and bad juju. Not to mention that it was simply a dangerous area to visit. One wrong step could send a person through the floor and into the basement, or the jostle of a loose plank and one may discover that it had been the careful balance that kept a part of the wall from crumbling down. Still, though, there were those that dared venture into the hazardous tower and Justin's ears would pick up on that as he started to make his way through the rubble. "... maybe try... ... time. Yeah, got... careful with the ignition.""It'd be easier if there was a bit more space.""Not like we can burn this place down a second time."The sound of a coughing chortle broke the banter, of which spread to a larger group of chuckling both man and pokémon. Soon the voices were given form as Justin slipped down and around a collapsed pile of charred debris. There were two large men in matching flare outfits. With them was a koffing and a charmeleon. Being a stark contrast to the rest of their surroundings Justin was quickly spotted. "Ho boy, where do you think you're going buddy? This is a dangerous place y'know.""He's probably with that pretty boy. He said he'd send someone." The first man eyed Justin and Simba, mouth skewing to the side in thought. "Well he looks the part for sure. What'd you think?""No better way to get us warmed up! C'mon there pretty boy, let's see if you're tough enough to not get squished when we knock this tower off its rocker. Our show is sure to amaze," the second boasted. With a flourish he brought the baton in his hand alight and pointed it toward the photographer. Taking the signal the charmeleon stepped forward, flexing his large talons and sending a stream of smoke from his nose. They all had their eyes on the luxray, but to their dismay Simba was not the one that was sent forth to combat them. Both of the men's jaws dropped slightly when Jormun appeared. The Tower barely had enough space to accommodate the large writhing fish pokémon. His lower body was carefully wrapped through and around sets of blackened beams while the dangerous part threw a shadow upon the brightly dressed firebreathers. Or so they thought. "Don't worry Charmeleon, that oversized snake won't have much maneuverability so get right in there with your claws! Give 'em a taste of your dragon side." The man set his hands to his rotund sides and began laughing. It was more of a laugh to cover up his fear, though, as if one got a close look they'd notice sweat forming on his temples. The duo liked to live dangerously, obviously given their profession and obsession with fire, but they were only joking about bringing the tower down. Gyarados had a legitimate chance of causing some real havoc. Charmeleon warily approached, but before he realized it Jormun had already won. With his opponents so focused on the gyarados' frightening face they failed to notice that his tail was in prime position to merely slam down on anything coming into melee from the front. With a screech of surprise the fire type was pounded with a watery blow that sent a crashing wave of energy into the floor. The tower trembled. Snaps of wood signaled parts of the floor giving way into the darkness below. The flooring heaved, rippling away from the point of impact and setting old planks in new positions. Beams that had been holding ashen wastes against the walls toppled over, allowing more of what little remained of the roof to collapse further. Luckily when the charcoal resettled, dust hanging in the air, the area was only a little rearranged from a moment earlier. "Ah-uh-uhm... W-Well that settles that. We'll just get out of your way." He swiftly recalled his pokémon, breathing a sigh of relief that of the parts of the floor that no longer existed it wasn't the part his dear charmeleon had been squished on. The koffing chuckled again, that smoker kind of guffaw, but the two ignored it. Instead they hastily made their way around and out of Justin's way, passing a few hundred bucks as they fled for the exit. Firebreather's Ned & Richard were defeated! Justin received £600Jormun gained 1200 EXP and shared the rest with Simba! Simba gained 1200 EXP thanks to EXP Share!

Lucky Egg moved to Zoroark, Zoroark being sent out first against Haunter, using Dark Pulse under the guise of Gallade once more. The portly firebreathers stood in the middle of the path, boasting loudly about their abilities and idly chatting about the destruction of the tower. It was definitely dangerous to use fire in any way, shape or form in the wreckage, but something had to be done, especially if they wanted to issue a challenge. As their boisterous tones increased, Justin descended until the two men came into view. A Koffing, spewing thick, toxic gasses and a Charmeleon stood at their sides, both appearing to be equally interested in whatever show/carnage they had planned. Luxray took note of the positioning and flexed his claws.
"Just poking around." Justin held up his camera, as if to show them that he actually had a paying job outside of being a trainer. This was sure to be a photography hot spot in the right lighting. He probably could get some pretty cool pictures of the brothers had they not been so cheeky at the start. "Pretty dangerous place for the likes of you, don't you think?" The photographers eyebrow raised at the Pokemon alongside them. "At least I have the common courtesy to put the fire up." Charmeleon's tail blazed dangerously close to a pillar.
The men didn't seem to take the hint, however, and challenged Justin to a battle under the assumption that Euisine had sent them. Well, technically he -had- but Justin was going to be here anyway, so he wasn't necessarily under the flamboyantly dressed gentleman. "A battle here? Are you crazy?" The tower creaked under their feet and Justin was glad this was a descent, rather than an ascension up stairs. Not that there really were any. "I mean, I can oblige, but... why..." Shrugging, Justin had sent out Jormun who leered over the two men and their Pokemon. When it was obvious Charmeleon was his opponent, Jormun let out what seemed to be a hackling chuckle. It was rather hard for Pokemon to laugh audibly, but Jormun did it with ease. Perhaps that's why he never spoke?
"Naaaah. You won't be fighting Luxray. If you're so eager to bring this place down, why don't I help you?" There was a little edge in Justin's voice, as if there was extra pressure in this fight. "I'll just get this over with quickly so we can keep going." Jormun's attack went off without a hitch but not without a little bit of damage. To be fair, even if it had been Simba fighting the damage to the tower was rather unavoidable. At least Justin was conscious and relatively worried about the building.
The firebreather's attitudes changed immediately as they submitted and began crawling out of the tower. They tossed some money his way, which Justin graciously accepted, before disappearing back the way Justin had come in. Jormun, obviously having a hard time moving around, craned his neck to look at Justin before sighing and giving up. The blonde moved forward to the dragon's field of view before giving the Gyarados's massive cheek a pat. "You did good, but we should probably, uh, put you back now. Thank you for your help." The Gyarados gave as curt a nod as possible without ramming into more planks before accepting it's return into the tiny capsule at Justin's waist.
"Time to move on. You're pretty quiet back there, Simba." Justin glanced over his shoulder at the Luxray, who seemed just as tense as Justin was in the battle. "You can feel it too, huh?" He asked, and the feline simply blinked his eyes in affirmation. "Let's keep going. We don't know what we're gonna find as we keep going down." So they continued their descent, both on their guard. There were bound to be more people feeling the pressure and power in the depths of the tower. Whatever it was, Legendary Beasts or not, Justin was ready.

As Justin progressed further into the tower the decision to stay on his guard was very wise as he was not alone. Lurking in the nearby shadows was an old rival who had been waiting for his chance to battle the legendary beasts himself. Silver was quite sure that Justin was here due to the same rumor and he was not going to let his rival have the first shot at such a rare opportunity if he had any say in the matter. As Silver approached he sent out his Haunter hoping to use it's typing to his advantage but it was a costly error. As soon as the ghost appeared Surreo went into action as a black mass appeared in front of his chest. The mass was foul to the core but it was the perfect attack to bring a Haunter to it's untimely defeat. Silver tried to get in an order quickly before Surreo could attack in a desperate bid to keep the initiative. " Haunter you fool, get out there and use Hypnosis. If that Dark Pulse hits you will be less useful than a sack full of Pikachu droppings." It was hardly worth his words however as Surreo fired the black mass at Haunter scoring a direct hit. The attack caused catastrophic damage as the Haunter was defeated in a single blow and Silver was not pleased. He recalled the ghost Pokemon before grabbing another one of his Pokeballs. " Damn you to hell, always finding a way to ruin my plans. If you think this is over I have news for you. I am only getting started even with that setback. Go Golbat let's turn this battle around." With his second Pokemon ready to go Silver was not messing around. He was going to tey everything he could to ruin Justin's day no matter the obstacles he faced. After losing Haunter so quickly he just had to find a way to redeem himself. Trainer Battle

Real Surreo using Psycho Cut x2 (just in case), who is holding a Psycho Gem. The moment Simba's hackles rose as the moment Justin knew -something- was up. It wasn't the source of the power, although as soon as the trainer came into view Justin figured it probably thought so. Contrary to Silver's normal behavior he was relatively silent and instead sent out his Haunter in an attempt to start a battle, or perhaps even get the one up on him. The photographer couldn't help but roll his eyes. What a pretentious jerk, showing his face here again. Every time they'd battled Justin had wiped the floor with him, so this day shouldn't be any different.
"Oh joy." Unhooking Kuuma's ball from the belt, Justin sighed and looked over at the silent Silver. "And here I thought this would be an enjoyable outing." Not trying to hide his distaste for the aggressive, abusive trainer, Justin tossed Kuuma's ball and called out. "Surreo, let's make quick work of this clown." The light flashed and illuminated everything around them for a few seconds as the disguised Kuuma emerged from the ball as an exact illusion of Surreo, Justin's Gallade. The Pokemon turned to look over his slender shoulder, almost shooting Justin a glance. Kuuma was probably irritated he hadn't been able to use any other forms in battle, but it couldn't be helped. Justin simply shrugged.
"Sorry bud, you know how battles go!" He chuckled, almost amused to see the irate look on the Gallade's face. Surreo, the real Surreo, was always calm and collected. The wild temper and explosive energy of Kuuma in Surreo's body was almost a joke. Justin made sure to snap a quick picture of the expression before Kuuma actually got to work. Remembering how fast Morty's Haunter was, Justin wanted to send out something -faster.- Kuuma definitely had an edge over the long tongued Pokemon, whereas the normal Surreo probably didn't. "You know what to do!"
The dark mass gathered in the center of Kuuma's chest, bubbling and growing in strength. Justin half expected the Zoroark to break his illusion at this point, but instead it still stood. Kuuma shot the blast forward, rocketing into Haunter with decisive speed. Silver caught on and began shouting at his Haunter, but it was too late. No Hypnosis today. Both Justin and Simba had learned the repercussions of that move. Even Simba looked down in distaste at the idea of being sent to sleep mid battle again. "Easy boy..." Justin mumbled, giving the feline a scratch on the side of his face. Simba purred.
"That's right! Perfecccct shot! You know you gotta bring out Surreo for the next Pokemon. The real one, c'mon! It'd be hilarious! You know it would! I haven't seen you this riled up in a battle since Morty!" The Zoroark, still under the guise of a Gallade, remarked while punching a fist into the air.
"To be fair, that was yesterday."
"Meh, logistics."
The Zoroark did have a point though. Sending out the real Gallade if the typing was right would certainly throw Silver for a loop. Speaking of the boy, it seemed as though he was talking. Justin had done so well to tune him out this far.
"Hell, I wish it -was- over. But we can keep going. I'm sure you have other Pokemon my team wouldn't mind beating." The photographer added with a wink. When the Golbat was called, Kuuma immediately turned to face Justin, almost URGING him to go ahead with their plan. Justin gave the smallest of nods before grabbing his Pokeball. Kuuma could barely contain his laugh, the fox was struggling.
"Alright, Surreo, c'mon out."
The ball soared through the air and brought forth the 'real' Gallade. Both seemed to look at one another for a second. Kuuma seemed to be counting seconds just to give Silver enough time to react before he popped the illusion, falling to the ground in laughter.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA! HIS FAAAACE!"
His claws pawed at his belly as he laughed, practically rolling on the floor of the tattered tower. The -real- Surreo cracked a grin. "Alright, give this bat a Psycho Cut for me."

Silver's head was spinning seeing two Gallade's accross from him thinking he had to be losing his mind. There was no way Justin had raised two of them. As Kuuma ended his illusion Silver grew all the more enraged at the whole situation. He had no idea that the first Gallade was an imposter nor did he realized that was why his Haunter took so much damage. Now that the cat was out of the bag however he could try and use the knowledge that he was targeting the real one to his advantage. Golbat had the type advantage here and though their speed was evenly matched Surreo taking the time to grin gave Golbat just enough time to prepare an attack. " You might think this is funny but I will have the last laugh. Golbat use Air Cutter on that real Gallade before I turn you into a pair of shoes." Golbat took aim right at the center of Surreo's chest wanting to cause him as much pain as possible. The razor sharp wind flew towards him at breakneck speeds scoring a direct hit. The impact sent Surreo flying back a good ten feet before coming to a hault. He was a bit slow getting himself in position to strike back but he could still keep going for now. The knightly Pokemon raised his blade like arm taking in power as he ran towards the bat. The psychic energy contained in his arm was mesmerizing as the bat could not take his eyes off of the approaching threat. A single slash later Golbat suddenly fell to the ground knocked out from the blow as Surreo took a deep breath. Silver on the other hand nearly passed out from anger as he recalled the bat Pokemon. " Damn it all to hell. That is it no more games. Go Magnemite it is time we end this." He said as the magnet Pokemon appeared ready to try it's best to turn this massacre around. Trainer Battle
Silver's Golbat| Level 30 HP: 0% (0/94 HP) Status: KO'ed Move: Air Cutter (Critical Hit) VS Justin's Surreo | Level 33 HP: 60% (59/98 HP) Status: Normal Move: Psycho Cut (Psychic Gem Consumed.)
Surreo gained 750 experience. He now has 750/3367 experience needed to level up. He also gains +1 happiness and he now has +12 happiness overall. Simba gains 750 experience thanks to his experience share. He now has 2675/3169 experience needed to level up. Silver does not know when to quit. He sends out his level 28 Magnemite. Would you like to swap Pokemon?

Emboar using Heat Crash x2 (since running shoes weren't able to be used) on Magnemite and Bayleef After Kuuma had picked himself up off the floor, after getting soot and splinters in his fur from the rolling hysterics, he brushed himself off and glanced over at the fuming Silver. Wanting to poke a little bit more fun at the angry trainer, the Zoroark took the illusion of Silver himself and began to make silly, stupid faces at the red-haired hothead. Justin couldn't say much, he was enjoying Kuuma having so much fun. "Man, you put up way more of a fight last time we met." Kuuma stopped eventually and crossed his arms, now bored of the affair. It was almost as though he was too preoccupied to notice the engulfing pressure and power coming from below them. Instead, he simply yawned and tapped the pokeball at Justin's waist so he could go back inside, his fun with Silver done.
"Why didn't you just go down there? Were you waiting for someone to go first?" Justin asked, curious why Silver was even fighting him in the first place. "If you're always so hell bent on striking up plans to mess with people and they keep falling flat, why bother?" Silver probably would've been able to see the beasts at that rate, but instead he'd decided to battle Justin and get trounced in the process. His Pokemon were obviously a step above Silver's, and he was beginning to feel bad for poking fun at the redhead. But then he remembered all of Silver's comments and rude behavior towards his partners, so there was a bit of a tradeoff. Was it being mean if he truly deserved it?
Justin didn't necessarily want to find out. Instead, he focused on his Pokemon and the battle. Surreo and the Golbat seemed relatively close speed wise but the blonde was surprised to see the Golbat speed ahead of the psychic type. "Surreo, be careful!" But the Air Cutter was already slicing towards the fighter. He did his best to block with his bladed arms but the wind attack cut deep, causing him to stagger back slightly. The Golbat probably felt a sense of triumph, but it was only momentary. Surreo didn't give it much time after before slicing forward, diminishing his magic item to give him a bit of an attack boost. The gem dissolved and the Golbat fell to the ground without another sound. Surreo threw his arm out to the side, as if brandishing a sword, and then crossed his arms to sheath it.
"Good hit. You need a potion, or are you okay?" "I am fine, but thank you."
The Gallade shook his head and stepped back, making sure to avoid any thrown objects in case Silver's rage became too much. His next Pokemon was sure to probably bring the pain. Besides, he hadn't seen Silver's Bayleef recently so unless he'd gotten rid of it he expected to see it soon. "Rhoan, it's your turn."
"That's RIIIIIIGHT!" Just as boisterous as Kuuma, Rhoan emerged from her Pokeball blazing with energy and literal fire. Smoke streamed from her nostrils as she glanced around her surroundings.
"Let's uh, keep it easy on the attacks please." Justin suggested, to which she reluctantly nodded. He was expecting the grass type as Silver's next Pokemon, but a Magnemite appeared. No matter, seemed relatively easy enough especially with fire.
"The most gentle heat crash you could muster, if you don't mind dear." Justin didn't want to fall into the basement and break his neck before he got to check it for Legendary Beasts. Even thinking about the possibility of seeing them got his adrenaline pumping. He'd get that picture if it was the last thing he did. Rhoan once again reluctantly agreed before preparing to gently destroy Magnemite, and possibly Bayleef next.

Silver's brow furrowed, wrinkling his forehead even more than it had already been with his frustration. All these jokers. Poking fun at him, treating this like some sort of game. In truth the redhead was jealous of the liberty to be so jovial about one's path in life, but there was no room for that sort of weakness in Silver's journey. Friendship and happiness was going to get him nowhere where he was headed. "No playing around Magnemite, Thundershock that swine." The steel type hummed its name and began charging up the energy required for its attack, but as it did so Rhoan was doing some charging of her own. The spunky emboar punched her fists together, aimed her shoulders, then trampled forward with an aura of fire swirling about her. Despite her girth she was easily faster than the little magnet, meaning its hard metal body was left undefended against the blistering heat of Rhoan's charge. Its steel body lit up a brilliant shade of red as it was carried into the wall of the tower, where Rhoan was careful enough to get a good satisfying crunch but leave the siding still intact. Perhaps even a bit better supported with the rounded metal sphere now stuck in it. The ill-tempered lad growled at the continued failure of his pokémon. He had high hopes for that one, being a rare typing to come by. But it didn't even survive a single hit. "Disappointment..." he muttered quietly to himself as he recalled it and threw out his next, and final, pokémon. The familiar Bayleef entered the scene, confused as to where she found herself but quickly putting on her game face when she put together it was battle time. Though, she wasn't feeling overly confident when she pinned who she was up against. "That pig is going to be your end if you don't prove yourself competent Bayleef," Silver spat. The grass type gave small but rapid nods before taking a deep breath. But that was all she got to do. Rhoan was already fired up and on her way over by the time Bayleef had worked herself up. She cried in agony before falling unconscious. Silver's face darkened, bands of deep red bangs falling over his face as he withdrew the starter. "Hmph. Well, enjoy your empty musty basement. I've got better things to do than chase false rumors." He withdrew his hand from his pocket and dropped a set of bills before stalking off between a series of precariously balanced beams. Rhoan gained 1,525 XP for the two KOs! Simba also gained 1,525 XP, thanks to the handy EXP Share, and grew to LV 33!
Silver left the customary £1,800 for Justin's victory The stairs leading down into the darkened basement are no longer blocked! Will Justin proceed?

Proceeding down. Oh my god i'm so ready for Raikou (yeah I know I fight Suicune but OMG RAIKOU) Justin watched as the redhead's brow furrowed in frustration. Kuuma had probably poked a little too hard, resulting in the irate Silver they had now. Rhoan was ready to blow off some steam, and having heard about Silver she was all too willing to take him down. "Did it have to be here, though? I'm afraid i'm going to break this place. TO THE GROUND WITH IT!" Rhoan bellowed, punching her pudgy fists into eachother while smoke billowed from her nostrils.
"NO! No to the ground with it, please. We want to keep this place intact. It's... uh, special." Justin couldn't really think of any other way to put it. Kuuma wasn't picking up on it, but Simba (who was still steely-eyed next to him) definitely did. Would Rhoan?
"Well obviously, but what better way to show off than to bring it to it's knees?"
"You're too metal for your own good."
"Nah, i'm a fire type. Not steel. Get it right."
"God-dammit Rhoan, that was just awful."
The pig snorted, amused with herself. Silver certainly wasn't though, ordering his Magnemite to take down 'that swine.' Oh, Rhoan wasn't going to like that. Not at all. Angrily she hurled herself roward and trampled down the Magnemite. Since it couldn't necessarily get 'squished' between the old wood and the giant Emboar, it simply heated up past capacity and crumbled to the floor. The metal body gave a solid 'thud' as it hit the ground and rolled momentarily before Silver returned it with disdain. "He didn't even put up a fight!" Rhoan whined, turning her massive torso back towards Justin, who simply shrugged.
"To be fair, you're pretty strong."
"Damn right I am."
Silver sent out his Bayleef, a familiar face to Justin, before wasting no time to bark at it. Justin felt bad for the poor grass Pokemon but there wasn't much he could do about it. Silver was her trainer. The photographer could only hope that he'd change his ways and start treating his Pokemon right. Outing the little punk wasn't going to do anything so there was no reason to try and make the kid go viral online or anything of the sort... There was just nothing that could be done except move forward. If Bayleef could do it even with the oppressive Silver, then Justin could do the same with his team.
"Same song and dance, Rhoan." He called out, getting a curt nod from the Emboar in return. There was an order, or maybe there wasn't, called out by Silver but it didn't matter. Rhoan was already fired up and on her way towards the starter Pokemon, barreling into Bayleef like a truck. A fiery, molten truck. A fiery, molten HEAVY truck. The poor thing stood NO chance. It fell to the ground and remained there before the disgruntled Silver returned the charred remains with a grunt. He grumbled something about the musty basement, most notably that it was 'empty' before storming off. When he was out of earshot, Justin turned to Simba.
"Wait, empty?!"
The Luxray shook his massive head. "No, it's not empty. Trust me." The Feline could almost 'see' all, so it was no surprise that the feeling, that pressure was still there on top of the presence of something much greater than themselves. Was this what it felt like to ants, looking up to the sky? "There is something very much down there." The fur continued to rise along his spine. "And I would very much like to go and meet whatever it is."
Justin nodded. "As would I." He shouldered his bag and returned Rhoan, settling the straps above his shoulder, his Raikou-stripe tattoos still glinting in the occasional bit of light shaft from the rotted beams above them. Together the eager pair dipped into the basement in what might be the pinnacle of Justin's entire photography career.

"...I think they've stopped trying to break the floor down, finally."
"No kidding? Half-expected those planks to break right over our heads. That would have been fun for everyone involved."
"If you two are quite done, we should be polite and greet our guests."
As Justin headed down the stairs with his faithful Luxray by his side, the duo would eventually emerge into a rather spacious basement. It wasn't the prettiest sight, though Justin's keen eye for photography might spot a few choice shots despite the overall darkness and debris strewn about. Sturdy worn pillars, four in all, held up the ceiling and seemed relatively unaffected by the passage of time. A few weak beams of light shone through holes in the ceiling above, the floor Justin had just been battling upon - and if he looked closely enough, Rhoan's Heat Crash had warped a section near to a breaking point. It wasn't all of this that would really capture his attention, however. Three shadowy figures lurked just out of camera range, as if shy. There was no mistaking their formidable presence despite this, and they didn't seem inclined to move until Justin and Simba had drawn closer. Moving in sync, they stepped into the light and cried out in unison, presenting themselves with pride.
Standing front and center was Entei, its brown fur glossy in the dim lighting and cloud-like mane rippling in some invisible breeze, the gaze it bestowed upon Justin full of warm amusement. On its right stood a regal blue creature, slender in appearance with a huge crystal-shaped crest atop its head. Suicune's purple mane and ribbons were rippling too, though the effect looked more like the flowing water it embodied instead of Entei's hot wind. On Entei's left was the one Pokemon Justin had been dying to meet, Raikou's bright red eyes locked on the tattoos Justin bore on one arm. Turning to its fellows, the tiger-like Pokemon's expression was vividly animated. "I told you! This human came here just for me! HA! You can keep your fancy Eusine fellow, Suicune. This one here has great taste," Raikou said, earning itself an amused snort from the Water-type. "Then it's a great pity you can't test him yourself, isn't it?" Suicune replied smoothly, settling onto its hindquarters and daintily adjusting its paws before it.
"Welcome, Justin. We've been quite eager to meet you, some more than others," Entei rumbled in dry tone, head turning slightly in Raikou's direction. "Since you stepped foot in this tower, we three have kept an eye on your progress." "We have spent a long time here, waiting for the right kind of person, you see," Suicune picked up where Entei left off, eyes gleaming as it studied Justin and Simba. "The perfect challenger! And you fit the bill, though it's a shame I cannot battle you this time," Raikou concluded, wistfully. The thundercloud on its back gave a light rumble, a clear indication of the legendary's disappointment with this pronouncement. Raikou had never been envious of Eusine's fixation with its fellow, but there was finally a human here who had gone to such lengths as to permanently display the depths of affection he felt for Raikou, and Raikou alone. 'Disappointed' wasn't a strong enough word for how it felt.
"You can wait your turn, Raikou. Your last battle was something else, human. Something I'd like to experience myself," Suicune said, nimbly getting to its feet and stepping forwards before Raikou could rashly jump in. It had been far too long since any of them had enjoyed a good battle, and Suicune was especially eager, given how much more often it spent hiding than the other two. Eusine's attentions were flattering, but Suicune longed for the glory of battle, even if it couldn't unleash the full potential of its power against a human quite yet. "Will you humour me with a battle?" the Water-type inquired. It hadn't failed to see the tattoos Justin sported, and wondered if he would be as disappointed as Raikou was that he could not battle the legendary he so idolized.
The legendary Pokémon Suicune (Level 35) has challenged you to a battle! Please select a Pokémon to fight.

Luxray equipping Lucky Egg. EXP Share over to Zoroark. Luxray using Thunderbolt x2 (Running Shoes) Justin tries not to lose his shit The dark depths of the basement held a lot of promise as Justin and Simba continued their descent. The dusty steps hadn't seen footfall in some time, making Justin wonder if Silver had spent much time down here. If he'd only stepped in, perhaps he would've seen something? Camera clutched in a semi-shaking hand, the last door into the depths was opened. The hot air from the basement ruffled he and Simba's hair, wafting a bit of dust and ash into their faces. Simba merely snorted. Justin took the time to wipe off his face before they stepped into the darkness.
"Tch!" Simba clenched his teeth, keen eyes staring back into the corners of the basement. Although Justin could spot a few choice areas for a quick picture, it was clear that Simba was seeing something else entirely. The keen eyed species could see far better than anything any human would've been able to muster, so by the way his partner's muscles stiffened and breath stopped, there was definitely something here.
"Simba, are you okay?" "It's..."
Before Simba could continue, all three of the legendary beasts stepped into the dim light of the basement before emitting roars in unison. Entei, the great red beast, with metal shackles and eyes burning like eternal embers. Suicune, the blue beast, with ribbons seemingly as cold as death and piercing blue eyes... followed by Raikou. Justin's breath caught as the beast looked directly at him, almost as if sizing him up. It's eyes focused on Justin's arm, and the man turned a shade of red as he realized the beast noticed him.
His hand relaxed and the camera dropped to the ground, shattering the glass inside and rendering the device absolutely useless.
The sound startled Simba, but only slightly. Before the Luxray could even let his trainer know that any chance of his dream becoming a reality had been LITERALLY shattered, the beasts spoke- in a far more jovial way than had been expected. Immediately Justin could see the Luxray relax. They were not in for a cruel mauling by Legendaries. They were almost... welcoming them!
Justin had grown accustomed to understanding his Pokemon to an extent, but to hear the legendary beasts in front of him speak English, clear as day, was an absolute shock. Raikou seemed pleased at Justin's presence, making Justin feel a bit less foolish with his fixation on the thunder beast. Entei and Suicune seemed warm as well, but their conversations were riddled with the hint of battle. They kept speaking of the disappointment Raikou would face, not being able to battle Justin this time. Simba and Justin exchanged glances. Were they about to fight a beast?
"It's... a pleasure to meet you three as well. I uh, have to admit, I wasn't sure what to expect down here in this basement. Certainly not a meeting of a lifetime..." Justin trailed off, scratching the back of his neck sheepishly. There was no hiding it, he was absolutely ecstatic. At the mention of the beasts being eager to meet them, Justin coughed before it delved into a laugh. "All my life I dreamed of meeting you, and here you are! I think that might be an understatement. Wow, you guys are fantastic. " While Raikou was definitely Justin's ultimate prize, the statement was meant for all three of them.
Raikou showed visible dismay, as well as aural in the form of the thundercloud on it's back, when it mentioned it wouldn't be fighting Justin this time. This time? Instead, Suicune stepped forward, focusing on Justin and Simba. Their last battle 'had' been decent, but he'd absolutely trounced Silver. Apparently that had been enough to grasp the attention of Suicune. "My Emboar, Rhoan, will be delighted to hear such. Thank you. She's a bit of a prideful hog." He chuckled, patting the pokeball that held her. He didn't trust releasing her here though, in the presence of the beasts. No doubt she'd try to fight all three of them at once.
"But a battle with you, Suicune? I absolutely accept." He dipped his head low in respect before taking a shaky step back. His foot crunched against some of the glass that had been strewn from his broken camera, and he winced and cast a glance over at Raikou before turning to Simba.
"I was going to mention something." "Yeah, it just sorta happened. Awe and all that. I uh, don't think anyone will believe me." "Lions worry not over the opinions of sheep. What we see here today will stay with us forever, and the opinions of others will never change that."
Justin nodded. "Agreed. That's why I want you by my side in this battle." Simba stiffened, looking over at Suicune who was patiently waiting for Justin to begin the battle. The cat probably knew it had been coming, but it still threw Simba off to know he'd be facing off against a legendary Pokemon, no doubt the source of the crushing pressure they were feeling.
"I accept. I admit, I would have been disappointed if this had gone any other way." "I wouldn't want anyone else by my side, bud."
Justin gave the Luxray a hug around the massive mane before stepping back further, moving the remains of the destroyed camera off to the side so they wouldn't be bothered by battle. There was no reason to pick it up, Justin had no way of fixing it here. Besides, even though HE had a dream... so did Simba, and he owed it to his partner to give him undivided attention. He'd seen Raikou, and experienced the beasts first hand. He had a feeling he'd be seeing them again.
"Alright Simba. Suicune! We are ready for you." If Justin had any dismay about not battling Raikou, it wasn't shown as he prepared for the battle. Maybe some dismay not being able to photograph the Raikou, but he was happy with the battle. Hopefully he still had time to speak to them after this battle. "Simba! Thunderbolt!"

"Good," the legendary beast spoke simply, the soft cool words rippling through the darkened space surrounding them. The other two retreated away to observe, taking up positions on either side so each had a great view. Entei found a comfortable slate to settle upon, burning eyes turned down to the scene slightly below as it waited patiently for the test to begin. Raikou hopped the opposite direction, causing a little bit of disturbance among the rubble as it found a stable but precarious spot to dangle by. The cloud on its back rumbled quietly, the electric beast at the edge of its seat, paws tapping against a beam underneath. Suicune raised its nose upward, steady eyes falling to the crackle under Justin's feet. The flowing beast paced once back and forth as if sizing the area they had to work within, giving the slightest nod in time with the human and his companion openly admitting that the camera would have been nothing but a distraction for this moment. "Yesss, no stalling now Suicune." A spark of electricity trickled down the beast's back, eager to see the power of its biggest fan's very own electric type. The aurora pokémon didn't dignify the impatience of its friend with anything but a lazy roll of the eyes. Attention focusing on the golden haired man and his fierce ally. It was quickly noted that he returned in kind, his heart undisturbed by the yellow coat off to the side. "If you believe as such..." were the words that came from Suicune before it dissolved into a smooth blur of blue and purple. A streak of moonlight rippling on a dark surface. Simba was quick, but it was clear the legendary creature wasn't concerned with his level of speed. When Suicune was satisfied it had lost the stare of its opponent it stopped, maw opening into a glittering mass of energy. It was but a second to charge before the flood of gleaming color engulfed Simba from his peripheral vision. He weathered the attack well enough. It packed a punch but something told him it wasn't quite as hard as it should have been. Sharp eyes narrowing, the luxray made to display that he was not something to toy with. Jolting forward with a build of electric charge he pressured Suicune into moving to a planned position, where he promptly discharged a streaking bolt of lightning. The bolt slicked through the water type's body smoothly, as an electric charge should across a conduit. It smarted, obviously taking a spring out of the legendary's step, but Suicune shook it off. Its body billowing behind the motion with a smooth flutter. "You don't disappoint. Perhaps you have even more promise than we surmised previously." The volcano pokémon rumbled a quiet agreement, red eyes glinting in the low light as it followed the battle thus far. Raikou bobbed back and forth, unable to sit still throughout the battle. "Keep going," Suicune encouraged, watching Justin and Simba intently. The gleaming eyes pokémon was more than ready to continue. His tail tickled with power, a jet of sparks shooting down his figure as he prepared another thunderbolt. Though, the action seemed to draw some displeasure. The air in the basement became heavy, all three legendary pokémon suddenly seeming to bear down on the luxray despite not moving an inch. Their attention was fully focused on Simba, but in a different way than a moment ago. The pressure of their presence rose, disturbing Simba's very being. It felt... wrong, to be using thunderbolt again. Suicune simply stood still, a glass wall with eyes boring into Justin and Simba. It was waiting. Tyger is dumb and forgot about site pressure. Spark + Thunderbolt after if needed again, Running Shoes Herp derp. (Raikou <3 <3) Justin's hands shook slightly as he clenched them into fists. Every heartbeat sent his blood racing through is veins, roaring in his ears and drowning out every other sound. He could hear his breath, and Simba's, but felt as though he couldn't move from this spot until the battle had been concluded. All three sets of eyes burned into Justin and his companion and the man almost wanted to shy away. He was never the spotlight, never the focus of such important attention. He always shifted that onto his Pokemon. They were the ones that did the work. So of course, having the antsy Raikou eager to see his battle, the stoic Entei with quiet grumbles of emotion and the steady Suicune in front of him... Justin couldn't help but feel lucky and a little bit nervous. He could tell Simba felt it too. "Alright. It's all good. Let's go, bud." Focusing purely on the battle at hand, justin sent Simba forward for the Thunderbolt. Simba always liked to follow these up twice in a row, but they'd have to see how Suicune reacted to the first pulse of electricity. Unsurprisingly, the Legendary beast was quicker than Luxray. Simba tried to unleash his attack first but the glittering wave of energy had washed over Simba before he could react. The chill and power pierced him to the bone, but surprisingly the feline stood. Something... wasn't right about that. Shouldn't it have hit harder? It was a legendary! "I am not to be toyed with!" Simba snarled, unleashing the electricity in a line towards the legendary beast. As agile as it's leopardesque body seemed, it wasn't quick enough to dodge the lightning and took the attack head on. It was only after the first pass of attacks that Justin let his eyes wander to the other beasts. Entei watched intently while Raikou paced in place, eager eyes shining with the battle. Why did Justin, and Simba, want to impress these beasts so much? "Great attack, Simba! You feeling the usual?""Absolutely."The electricity began to build once more, but Luxray grunted and closed his eyes in pain. Something wasn't quite right. It didn't feel right. Claws contracted in and out of sheath as Simba snarled. "I can't do it again!" Simba huffed under his breath, legs shaking slightly with the beginnings of fatigue. "What do you mean?""There's so much pressure... I need to mix it up a bit. What if I am just a one trick Ponyta?!" Simba snarled, glaring over at Suicune. There was no actual malice, only the fierce drive of the lion to win this battle with his trainer. Mix it up, huh? "We can do that. Don't worry. Close your eyes.""What do you mean, -close my eyes?-""Just do it, bud. Trust me.""Ugh, fine."Simba relaxed as soon as his eyes closed, shoulders slowly falling back to a steady position. Justin scratched at his chin momentarily before calling out the next orders. "I need you to Spark.""Spark? That baby electric move? I mean, we hardly ever use that."It was clear that Simba was nervous, but Justin shook his head. "No, we hardly don't. But I think it's gonna pack more of a punch than you realize. Use that energy you've got and cloak all that Thunderbolt around you. Get in close, slam into Suicune and make your mark there, got it?" Simba nodded quietly and flexed his claws. Electricity circled around him, coursing through his thick fur and across his face and tail. He became a living electric pulse. His eyes focused in on Suicune, judging the distance of the target before roaring. The electricity exploded around him before he charged forward, snarl rising in intensity and volume as he neared Suicune. "You've got this, Simba!"
