" Hello is this thing on? It is oh ok I am not used to this at all. Welcome everyone, my name is Doctor Jackal and I am one of the researchers at the Ruins of Alph, I have recently come accross a few puzzles while searching there with my assistant Doctor Hyde . We do not know exactly what the answers are to any of the puzzlee but that is why you are here. We are asking all intrested trainers to help us solve all of the puzzles that we have found. We have prizes for those thst helpnus out but our research is time sensitive. We will be displaying another puzzle every five days until the end of the month."

" There is a total of 5 puzzles that will be posted with a 5 day gap inbetween. The first puzzle will br posted on September 15th. Please note that a puzzle must be solved before the next one is revealed in order to claim a prize. There are both visual and word puzzles that we have found so I do hope you are not used to doing only one kind of puzzle or else you might run into some trouble. Is there anything you would like to add Doctor Hyde?"

" Not that I can think of outside of to have fun. I am so excited to see who can help us solve these puzzles."

"Hello again, and thank you all who have gathered to help us solve these mysteries. The rooms in which these newly discovered puzzles are located are rather small, and particularly with this first one we've cleared out for you it is very very dark so do be careful."




"Yeah, almost unnaturally so. Because of this we're only allowing one person in the room at a time to have a crack at it so if you were hoping to sit down with a bunch of friends we're sorry to disappoint you. But! We have prizes for whoever can help us solve these things so it's not like you could share anyway."




"Well, I think that's all for now. Dr. Hyde will keep you all company out here while I start taking people inside. Now, just follow me into the Ruins!"

"Alright! Uhm, let's just move on Dr. Hyde. We have another section of the ruins to explore and another puzzle awaits. Just like last time folks, follow me!"

"Based on what our helpers here are puzzling together Hyde I admit I'm a bit perplexed. Other than the subjects originally having been discovered here in our own region they are very different from the ancient forms usually found here."




"You're overthinking it Dr Jackal. These broken panels depicting special things from Johto makes perfect sense. Perhaps I'll lead everyone in for this next one while you take in the fresh air out here."




"Right, that sounds reasonable. Alright everyone, this time Dr Hyde will lead you to the next puzzle. It's a bit different than the previous two. Good luck!"

"Yes, yes! I'm sure of it now. These new puzzles are all linked by their subject matter being what was at a point in history Johto's unique discoveries. Dark types, Steel types, and now this... Apricorns!"




"I heard there were some concerns with this last one though Dr. Hyde. Our assistants have pointed out odd conclusion regarding their legitimacy as, well, ruins! But, I guess this development only supports another of our theories."




"Indeed. See folks, ruins aren't just dead and broken things from an age long past, they're alive. If you're lucky enough to witness the things that roam the corridors you'll understand. Alph is an ever growing record of our history and I don't know if we'll ever discover everything here."



"Speaking of which, we have one last challenge that we could use some help on! Dr Hyde, if I may?"

The event is finished! Hope everyone had fun and thank you all for making it such a success. We will open up the board now and keep it visible for a week ish for anyone wanting to read any of the RP responses. After that it'll be tucked away into the archives.
