{ } For a brief moment, Eloise questioned herself 'Was this really the right decision?' She had never done anything that was so out of her comfort zone, yet, every inch of her body was craving for adventure. It was time she got a life of her own; time to meet some new friends and explore the world a bit. If her brothers were able to go on this trip when they were way younger then her, than she should also be able to do it. Especially now that she's older. The past days she had stayed with family in Violet City. It was quite a trip getting from Blackthorn City to Newbark Town, so on the way there; she stopped with family in Voilet City and spent a few days there before going further. Accompanied by her aunt's Arcanine, she had arrived in Newbark Town where she would meet Professor Elm, who would be the one to give her a Pokémon. Even though she had her heart set on a Cyndaquil, she instantly fell in love with the Bulbasaur that she had met at the lab. There was something about this little fellow that lit up the room. Luckily for her, the Pokémon felt the same way. She had come in with a few other Trainers and there were all sorts of Pokémon running around. From the very first moment the locked eyes, they knew it was a match. Even though one of the other trainers also wanted that particular Bulbasaur. The professor saw that Bulbasaur and Eloise hit it off, and decided that it was no use to hand over a Pokémon against his will to a trainer. Once Eloise was outside, she looked at the other Trainers and their Pokémon. It didn't take look before they all returned them in their Pokéball. For a brief moment, Eloise looked at Bulbasaur's Pokéball and then at Bulbasaur, who definitely didn't look like he wanted to go back into the ball. "How about you stay outside with me? I'd like to have some company." Eloise proposed. Bulbasaur replied with an enthusiastic sound, making Eloise believe she had made the right decision. She had put away the Pokéball and looked at the sky. It was quite good weather, so they were lucky. "Ready for some new adventures?" She asked her new friend who again happily nodded. Eloise was excited to start her journey, especially as she wanted to prove to her brothers that she could be just as good, if not better, than them. "So first we have to cross Route 29." Eloise said while tapping on the map she had in her pocket. Even though she had just crossed this route without issues, she realized that before she was accompanied by her family's Arcanine. Who was pretty strong. No wonder no wild Pokémon would attack it. Now it would just be Eloise and her new Bulbasaur, who probably still needed a lot of training. So she realized they had to be careful. As soon as she tucked away her last things in her bag, the two started walking towards Route 29 to get to Cherry Grove City. MADE BY VEL OF GS + WW

It wouldn't be long before the Bulbasaur was challenged by another wild Pokemon. The small grass-type Pokemon was clearly not as scary to the wild Pokemon in the area as the Arcanine that had helped Eloise on her journey to New Bark Town, to receive her own first Pokemon. The first pokemon to join her on her adventure across Johto. It was a very eventful and exciting journey that would follow for her and her new Pokemon, undoubtedly. It wasn't long before a rustling could be heard in the nearby tall grass, however. A chirp came from the grass as it rustled, seeming to try to be quiet as it spied on the trainer and her Bulbasaur but failing to maintain the quietness. From the grass, the head of a small little bird Pokemon poked out, before flying right in front of Eloise and her small grass Pokemon. As it would seem, it would be the Eloise's first battle on her journey beginning with the Bulbasaur, hopefully a very meaningful one. A wild Pidgey level 4 appeared! What will Eloise and her Pokemon pal do?

{ } Eloise was happy she and Bulbasaur hit it off right away. She had seen numerous trainers that had Pokémon that weren't really listening to them. She couldn't even imagine why people would keep those Pokémon. It was obvious that they didn't want to be with that Trainer, so why keep them against their will? Some Pokémon were just meant to stay in the 'wild'. In the open nature where they could do whatever they want. After they started walking she briefly looked over her should to catch a last glimpse of Newbark Town before moving on. It wasn't that much later that she heard some noise coming from the trees. She was hoping it wasn't some Beedrills. She had had a not so pleasant meeting with them before. Luckily Arcanine was able to blast them away with its flaming breath. Her Bulbasaur was walking happily in front of her. Apparently, it really liked the outdoors, which was a really good thing considering they would be traveling a lot. Suddenly some more noise came from the grass, and before they both realized it, they were challenged by a Pidgey. The small bird Pokémon in front of them didn't really scare Bulbasaur. In fact; it was very eager to accept it's challenge. "Alright, let's see how strong you are." Eloise said. Bulbasaur made an enthusiastic sound, making Eloise think that the Pokémon was quite sure of its own skills. "Use your Tackle!" MADE BY VEL OF GS + WW

The Flying-type Pidgey would prove to be faster than the Bulbasaur, as it would same. Letting out a loud cry, the Pidgey flew into the air and towards the Bulbasaur. The wild Pidgey then tackled into the trainer's new Grass-type Pokemon, dealing a little bit of damage, and then quickly flew back to avoid a close ranged attack. Luckily for the Bulbasaur, the low-leveled Pidgey did not know any Flying-type moves that would be considered super-effective on the Grass-type. In fact, the only move the Pidgey knew was Tackle. Eloise's Bulbasaur then landed it's own attack, using the same move as the Pidgey had. Tackle was a weaker, and common move to be used and learned by lower-leveled Pokemon with now as developed movesets. As the Bulbasaur then tackled the Pidgey, it still managed to deal quite a bit of damage, causing the Pidgey to let a small cry out in pain. But it quickly refocused itself on the Bulbasaur, giving a determined look towards the Pokemon and its trainer. Battle Weather Status: Normal Wild Pidgey | Level 4 Health : 66% (12/18 HP)Status : Normal Used Tackle! Eloise's Bulbasaur | Level 5 | Overgrow Health : 100% (16/21 HP)Status : Normal Used Tackle!
