Route 29 a new beginning for Megan and a feeling she was all to familiar with she had been down this start twice already. Currently Aqua was out of her Pokeball walking along side Megan. Megan was looking around. She was currently looking for her next team member as she had plans of becoming the champion of Johto one way or another though in the back of her mind she needed to find her father and try and snap him out of this mad quest her was on with Team Rocket, this wasn't the father she was told about she wanted him back.
"Alright Route twenty-nine alright lets see what we can find here for the team." Megan stated looking at Aqua who gave her a big old smile she was looking forward to see what the little girl could do that much was for sure, she was a trainer after all she needed to know where Aqua needed work and there was only one way to do that and that was to see how Aqua handled battle first hand as they slowly walked into the tall grass with a small grin. she was ready for whatever was sent her way, it was time to begin anew again.

The dust storm blowing across route 29 was awful news for every Pokemon that lived there but for those who relied on berries to survive it was nearly a death sentence. A lot of Pokemon were desperate for food and were willing to steal anything they could get a hold of just to get by until the weather was more favorable. As Megan walked along the route a big fluffy tail popped up from the nearby tall grass reacting to her footsteps just waiting for the right moment to ambush the trainer and steal whatever food she might have. The sand actually worked in the young Pokemon's favor as the visibility on the route was very poor. By the time Megan could see the bushy tail with any level of clarity it ran towards her at a high rate of speed. It was then that the sandy weather helped her out instead as the Sentret misjudged her exact location as it charged right past her into a small rock sitting a few feet away. The normal type Pokemon stubbed its toe trying to stop but it had avoided face planting into it at least so it was not as bad as it could have been. Even so it had more than made itself known with the humorous entrance but it had failed at its original goal of stealing any food from her at least for the moment. If it could defeat her Pokemon in battle it might just get a chance to steal a meal even if it would be a harder task than it had originally intended. Being so young it was a bit weary of attacking without seeing which Pokemon she would use against it first not knowing that Aqua was her only Pokemon. By playing it cautious and waiting for her to make a move it missed a chance to deal a sneaky blow that might have helped it out later. A wild Sentret (Level 2) appeared. Please select a move for Aqua to use.

Just seeing this little guy was enough to make Megan squeel but she had to remain professional as she salaved though her pockets for a moment she didn't want to risk Aqua battling if she didn't have to right now but, Aqua got in front of Megan ready for battle just in case and she was glad he did because there was no telling if this thing would break out or not that was a gimme but she had to try to find away to capture this thing without hurting it after all Aqua was two levels above it right now.
"Alright Great Ball Go!" Megan shouted chucking the blue orbed ball fullspedd right at the little guy before hopefully smacking it with the ball in hopes of capturing this little guy she wanted furret for its team and than later she would head to capture a Spearow when she had the time so this was looking very well up for her, first encounter and she found the Pokemon she had been looking for and this just had her all giggly on the inside but she was a professional trainer so she knew how to keep herself from losing herself in giggles.

Somehow, the Pokemon trainer's throw of the blue and red Pokeball still found its target in the wild Pokemon, despite the sandstorm weather stretching among the entirety of the route now and making it extremely hard to see to begin with. The fact that it had landed on its target alone was a miracle. The Great Ball wiggled twice, but Megan and her Squirtle's luck after the impressive throw would seem to have run out. The Sentret broke free of the ball, springing right back into the action of the battle. It wanted berries from the trainer, and by no means was it going to let itself get captured and stopped that easily, even if it was a higher notch Pokeball. The unsuccessful ball quickly rolled along with the sand, until it became no longer visible in the storm. The Sentret seemed to feel no pity for having wasted one of the trainer's Pokeballs, and then quickly seemed to hide under the sand. It seemed to be working perfectly in the Sentret's favor, and the weaker but clever wild Pokemon would definitely use that to its advantage. It remained invisible presumably under the sand(but who knew, it was hard to see anywhere for that matter) for a good ten seconds, before popping out at the Water-type starter Pokemon. Hoping the surprise attack would be an success, the round and furry wild Pokemon bounced up on its tail from inside the sand and scratched at the Pokemon, dealing a decent amount of damage with the surprise attack. The Sentret was still slightly embarrassed by having charged right into a rock previously and stubbing its toe (and it still felt the pain of it), but the hunger for any berries the trainer could possibly had made the Sentret keep its mind on the battle with the Squirtle. However, it was going to take a lot more than a measly Scratch from the Sentret to defeat the Squirtle, and it knew that of course. It quickly backed up from the shell-wearing Water Pokemon, not wanting to allow the trainer's Pokemon to land any easy attacks, and to not allow the trainer another accurate throw of a Pokeball at it. Why couldn't the trainer just throw a berry rather than a Pokeball? The rather irritated and annoyed Sentret seemed to think to itself. But if it would take a Pokemon battle against the Squirtle to obtain food, the Sentret would by all means commence in battle. The Sentret's motives and actions were almost purely driven and dictated by the hunger for food at this point. A nice, ripe blue Oran Berry sounded delicious right about now to the Sentret. But instead, it had to fight this blue colored Pokemon. Wiggle.
Wiggle.
...

' Was going to question the ligitness of this pokemon if it was that easy...' Megan muttered to herself as the sandstorm was going harsh what the hell was a sand storm doing on this route anyways maybe something was off about Johto or something bah she didn't know all she did know is that she haid failed to weaken the Little squirel and now she had to weaken it because she was low on her great balls now well this sucked she was hoping to have Aqua fresh for the next encounter but this little guy just HAD to break free didn't it? "Alright lets not waste anytime Aqua take it to town, TACKLE!" Megan ordered as the little water type nodded before readying itself and zoomed in looking to slam its body full force against this little guy, Aqua could tell that she wanted this little guy on their team and Aqua to disapoint that was for sure. Whatever this pokemon was they would end up finding out later for now, Aqua had one thing and one thing only on its mind and that was helping her train capture this little guy so they could prepare for the Pokemon league.

The very hungry wild Sentret let out a little sigh, as the trainer did not seem to wish to give it berries just so easily. The sandstorm had depleted any source of berry it could find in the area, and it had seemed like forever to the young Sentret since it had last eaten. As the trainer's Squirtle charged towards the wild Sentret, the Pokemon couldn't help but zone out as it stared at the Squirtle, the blue color if it still reminding it of the Oran Berry it had eaten last - Until the Sentret was brought back to Earth. The sandstorm seemed to have done nothing to slow the Squirtle down as the Sentret made no attempt at escape. Aqua slammed the Sentret into the ground with a large Tackle attack, waking it up from being zoned out entirely and dealing a great deal of damage with that. After having been tackled into the sand, it took a bit of a struggle for the young-aged squirrel-like Pokemon to get back onto its feet. (Or, for this matter, its tail) Quickly, with nothing but the pure thought of its hunger, the Sentret came back at Aqua with another attack, scratching its paws right across the turtle Pokemon. It dived into the sand, and then popped back up a few feet away from Megan and her Squirtle, letting out a "Sentret!" as it popped back up. If it wanted a berry, the Sentret thought that it was going to have to find a creative way to take this seemingly strong Squirtle out. 'Alright lets think here Megan if you tackle it, Squirtle has the chance of knocking it out you've already used one Pokeball this battle do you risk another...' Megan thought to herself. It was d difficult decision but, with the sandstorm brewing she couldn't take any real chances could she? No, the longer it went on the more it took the chance of becoming very dangerous not only could it knock out her Squirtle but, it could knock out the Johto Native Pokémon she was trying to capture and that was not going to be good either, she needed a team if she was going to take on the Elite four and champion!
"Lets try this again..." Megan said to herself flipping her Pokeball in the air after she pressed the button before grabbing it. "YOUR MINE!" She shouted and flung the Pokeball with a grin, this time she could only hope she could capture it, she was not taking the chance of letting this little guy get past her, she needed to be sure that her team was ready. She knew about the Sinnoh League but who knew what the Johto League had in store. She needed to take this one route at a time.

As Megan weighed her options of whether to throw or continue fighting, the Sentret bristled under the effects of the sandstorm, trying desperately and hopelessly to shake some of the sand debris out of its fur. Nothing in this situation was ideal for the little creature; sand was blowing everywhere, its fur was wet, and the wet fur was making the sand stick to it. Plus, it still had failed to even find a small morsel of food with this girl or her Squirtle. This entire little endeavor was proving to be a bust for the little Scout Pokemon. And making matters worse, this girl was throwing stuff at it. It had broken out of the last thing she had thrown, but then her little pet turtle had attacked it right after! Maybe this time she would wisen up and throw it a berry or something tasty; or maybe it could just turn tail and run while she was distracted by whatever she was doing with that strange blue ball in her hand. Oh, right. That was the thing she had thrown at it the last time, before it had broken free. The Sentret's eyes went wide as the ball left her hand and soared through the air, colliding directly with its soft and furry under-belly. The Sentret let out one last squeak as it was consumed into the ball, the blue ball falling to the ground. Through the billowing sands, the blue ball could be seen shaking and twitching; Sentret was fighting being captured as hard as it could, clearly. Eventually, the ball let out a soft click, and stopped moving. With the capture confirmed, the Sentret seemed to stop its resistance from within the ball and, almost tellingly, the sandstorm seemed to subside, as if it were some sort of metaphor for Megan coming out of this experience with the net gain of an additional Pokemon on her squad. While the Pokemon League and its Elites were still a distant goal for her, maybe now she could consider herself to be one step closer to that goal.
Aqua did her best and helped you catch the Sentret! She gained +2 levels! (Level 7) Aqua has learned Water Gun and Withdraw!

Megan stopped and then laughed once the ball stopped and clicked before racing forward with glee. " WE DID IT AQUA! WE CAUGHT SENTRET!" Megan called out as Squirtle jumped in the air with its " SQUIRT SQUIRT!" cry causing her to hug the ball a little bit before Squirtle pointed to it as Megan nodded kind of picking up on what Aqua was getting at. " Oh your right the little guy is probably hurting, lets heal him and you up." She smiled as Squirtle let out a SQUIRT cry with a small little grin as she enlarged the Pokeball at this. "Now what to name this little guy, OH! I got it." She said and the kissed the Pokeball. " FLUFFY COME ON OUT!" She shotued as the Pokeball was flung forward and lit up causing the young scout Pokemon to shake its head at what happened and looked up. " Hey Little guy, the names Megan, I'm going to be your trainer from now on okay?" She asked as the now Fluffy looked up and pointed to its mouth. " OH! That's what you were looking for a Berry? Well what's say we get you healed up and find some for you and Aqua okay?" She asked as the Sentret nodded. After a quick trip back to the lab as it was nearby to her team members healed up she smiled as Fluffy was on her shoulder. " Alright Little guy, lets find you those berries." Megan grinned. Calmness. That was the best way to describe the world around Megan as she would venture on through the open route that spiraled in different directions through their woody depths. The winds that billowed through the canopies and shook their barren branches had all but stopped, causing the small white puffs of snow to drift lazily from the skylines above to the grassy grounds below. Small, feathered creatures stirred through the barren branches, poking and prodding small twigs and rough sticks in odd directions as they patched their nests together carefully oblivious to the weary travelers that trekked through the terrain below. Whenever one wandered too close, one of the brown feathered birds would raise their short wings up at their sides and scream with a loud trill. A low guttural growl cut through the forested domain. It echoed through the trees as though it were an ominous warning, though no matter which direction Megan chose to go the growling would only intensify. Wild Pokemon were known to travel in groups – sometimes herds, sometimes packs, and sometimes a strange mix of terms that carefully hinted at the intricacies of their social dynamics that were something oddly different than either of the two norms. Still, many more wandered alone, traveling through the once lush green landscape that was now claimed by a sea of icy white. What awaited Megan, once she dared close enough to the guttural growling sounds, was a strange sight all its own. A small bird wrapped its short wings around a precariously dangling nest. The nest had been poorly constructed on the short branch of a young sapling who couldn’t have been more than a few feet high in the air. The nest was much wider than the thin branch and rocked unsteadily in either direction every time the small bird tried its best to push it back up onto the branch and defend it from the relentless assaults of a wild spotted bear. The Spinda, in contrast, just laughed hysterically as it chucked snowball after snowball at the wild bird’s nest. “This is so much fun!” It giggled, and fell onto its side while laughing hysterically when the nest finally crashed to the ground below. The bird hissed, stretched its wings wide, and soared far away angrily. “Do you wanna help me have more fun?” Spinda asked, slowly climbing back onto its feet, when it spotted Megan. A Wild Spinda appeared! Level 4. What will Megan do? Shiny? Dye7E4Ng1-42 Notes: Just limit confusion, we don't normally update movesets for Pokemon with new Gen updates. Your Pokemon are stuck with the moves they currently learn and only learn the new moves at their level up moves (not retroing missed moves they might have learned otherwise). In this case, Squirtle does get Water Gun though since it was your very first battle and staff discussed it and agreed to let Squirtle have it. Going forward, it'll only be based on what they will learn on that level. ^^ 1-42

Megan and Team were walking through the route and it was nice to say that she had a good amount of experience in training Pokemon but, training a new team was always the hard part to say the least. She knew that Fluffy was going to need the experience to say the least and she was a little frustrated with that but, she knew that the Pokemon on the starting routes tended to have the most potential. Strong Pokemon, Weak Poken? that was the selfish man or woman way of battling. True trainers, true CHAMPIONS won with their favorites and that was how Megan was going to handle it! " What the..." Fluffy wondered and then they saw what the Spidna was was doing to say that this angered the Sentret would be an understatement. Here he was, searching for berries with his new trainer, sure they could've moved on but, Megan saw fit to search for berries with it causing him to be all warm and smiles in his belly, and then this Spinda is touching a poor nest and just seeing it had it very upset to say the very least and he wanted to put a stop to it so he jumped off Megan's shoulder and raced forward. " WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!" Fluffy shouted letting out a loud GROWL towards the Spinda in anger as Megan sweat dropped and raced forward they were obviously about to have a battle on their hands just because Fluffy decided to be brave and she loved the little guy for that and this would be some good training for the little guy. She needed to prepare him and Shade on the way to Cherrygrove City who knew what awaited them there. The bird squawked a sigh of relief when the human got the Spinda's attention instead. It quickly moved to push the nest back to its architectural structural integrity. Heck, it even plucked off some loose twigs and branches to reinforce the nest while it can. When it was done, it was cheering for the Sentret as the battle began. "My problem? These Pidgey was stealing my apple! It was crisp and sweet!" The Spinda simply replied, sounding angry despite walking weirdly. The Sentret was ready to fight, but against the falling snow, the Spinda could barely hear the Sentret's threat. Then, as if from nowhere, the Spinda hurriedly ran forward and slammed onto the Sentret, knocking him off balance. The long tailed Pokemon got up, and growled threateningly again, asking what was its problem. The Spinda didn't like that noise, and flopped its ears down as it tried to cover it with its two hands. "Let me settle my problem with the Pidgey myself!" It cried in protest. Fluffy was sent flying as Megan was able to catch it from the powerful hit as it squirmed out of Megan's arms. " That doesn't give you the right to just torment its Nest it has little ones to feed! You should've talked to it!" Fluffy declared. " FLUFFY!" Megan scolded as Fluffy turned around as if saying WHAT?!. " I know you want to battle but you just took a massive hit we need to get you healed up, I'll let you in once it's weakened I just caught you remember?" Megan said as Fluffy realized it and blushed it had never been a trainer Pokemon before. Fluffy pointed to Spinda. " I'll deal with you in a moment!" Fluffy snarled and hopped up on Megan's shoulder. " AQUA!" Megan called out as out of the next Pokeball she threw a water squirtle emerged from it. " SQUIRT!" It called out as Megan grinned. " Alright Aqua, hold down the fort I have an idea." Megan said as Aqua nodded crossing its arms. " Want the little fluff ball you gotta get through me!" "I don't care about your fluffball, you guys are just in the way of my fun!" the Spinda cried out, staggering and doing its weird little dance-like movements as Aqua placed herself in between it and the injured Scout Pokemon. Why were these 'mons and their human so dedicated to protecting some random bird? Why were they so determined to get in the way of it having its fun? The bird wasn't really getting hurt with all those snowballs, it was probably having some fun with all this too! Spinda would have to either make sure they learned to not butt in where they weren't wanted, or somehow show them that they would all have so much fun together if the human and her pets just learned how to play along. For a second, Spinda considered using some of the snow and slush to maybe pelt the turtle with some ice to help it cool down; but that didn't really seem like such a good idea. Water types and snow really seemed to get along well, after all, so maybe it was time to do the one thing its confused, spinning-addled brain could think of. While Megan was focused on spraying down her friend Fluffy, the Spinda ran into a bit of a reckless charge, flailing as it moved. As it approached Aqua, it slammed its body into the small turtle, bonking its own head against the creature's shell and causing both Pokemon to fall on their bottoms from the force of the collision. But even as the Spinda got back up to prepare another attack, Aqua would be easily able to block it from continuing its attempts to finish the fight with Fluffy or the Pidgey. "Hey, you're kind of fun. You can play with me now, Squirtle!" cooed the spinning panda as it grappled and shoved against Aqua. To Say Aqua was being a dang tank would be an understatement as Aqua smirked to herself when she Saw Spinda chargining forward and then Bonked it? on the head Causing Aqua to stumble back a little bit causing her to land on her bottom but, it didn't hurt as much as one would think. When Aqua was able to get back up, She was able to block the second tackle and then heard the Spidna speak and growled a bit, fun, this Spinda did realize who the hell it was talking too right? If not, Aqua would have to show it. " You are talking to a future champion of Johto I suggest you watch your words a tad." Aqua warned as Fluffy was all healed up causing Megan to adjust herself and then tipped her cap at Aqua who smirked. " AQUA WATER GUN!" Megan shouted as Aqua grinned just the order she wanted. Honestly the Water type Pokemon was getting a little annoyed at this normal type, it was acting like it did nothing wrong after knocking Fluffy through a loup it might be a fresh capture but it was now a friend of Aqua's and she didn't appreciate what happened. " Here, HAVE A BATH!" Aqua shouted letting loose a stream of water towards this weird Pokemon, she just wanted to be done with this battle to be honest. Move: Aqua used Water Gun!
