Couldn't find a specific thread or place for this, so I decided to post this here. You can talk about your own experiences with the paranormal here, I suppose, but I wanted to ask a question because I'm sleep deprived and need to get off the internet was listening to spooky videos and this thought came to mind.
You know how they say ghosts are generally attached to places or people, right? It's also assumed that ghosts tend to hang around the places they die, right? Well... what about the deceased that passed in the ocean due to a plane crash or a ship sinking before anyone could get there to help them? Do you think there are ghosts just meandering around hundreds if not thousands of feet below sea level, just hanging out with the local wild life? Because I know it'd be unlikely that these ghosrs could find something to latch on to in order to basically be brought back up to the surface.
Will likely post some of my experiences later. Just wanted to get this out.

I somehow missed this post earlier!
There's the possibility of things washing up as well as salvagers bringing things up. Like the Titanic museum and other relics recovered from wreckages. Though, for all the stuff that can't be brought back up.. It's a wonder for sure! With all the different ghost theories out there I wonder if, for the case you brought up, that the ghosts don't even actually see themselves in a wreckage at the bottom of the sea. In their own little world not unlike the proverbial rose colored glasses, reliving their day before the horror or just generally musing about as if everything is normal and just never ends.
Though it is amusing to think of some of the more protective ones raging at some fish swimming by. Can't really push them down the stairs.
