Vivillon Evolution Guide

As in the games, Vivillon is special for it has many different patterns. The game mechanic itself was dependent on where you were from. A person from from the UK would have the Garden variety whereas another in Japan would obtain the Elegant variety.

This mechanic has been adapted to ZapdosZulu. As opposed to your Spewpa evolving into a specific Vivillon pattern depending on where you are from it will be dependant on where your Pokemon is evolved in Johto. The table below lists all variants and the locations which influence what pattern is obtained.

Following the guide will be useful if looking to complete the Dying Wish quest.



How Locations Work:

• Evolve Spewpa at the location for the pattern
  
• Meadow acts as a default pattern
  
• Weather take precedence over location
  
• If an area refers to a City, any sub-boards in that city count. i.e. Goldenrod City - Underground Tunnel.
