(team changes: Scatterbug Shane takes Amanda's place and gets to hold the exp. share, self updated) A thick fog covered route 32 and Astrid looked around pleased before turned to her waiting pokemon. "Alright, todays training will be one of tracking," she explained her team and they looked around in the area, this wouldn't be easy. "It will be likely that we need to track down a suspect or a missing person, and speed might be in essence. Which will be a problem for me, so we need to find other was of doing that," she continued and they all glanced at her legs. Astrid leaned on her cane. "What I think we need to do, is for me to stay in one place and you other spreading out, taking the target back to me. It will leave you at a risk if you are on your own, so I will prefer you are working together in pairs as much as possible, and we need to find a way for you to reach each other and me if necessary," Astrid lined up all the problems they might encounter before sighing wearily. "I am not sure how to solve it all, but let us start with trying to find a target first and we will work through the other problems along the way," she decided and looked at the scyther. "Ove, you have wings and are fast, you have searched before and I trust you to be able to handle yourself, so you will be mostly on your own today," she said and he nodded. Astrid looked at Benny and Kjeld. "You two do not have many advantages when it comes to searching, so I want you two to follow Ove on the ground and have your eyes out for clues which he cannot see from the air, and be ready to run to fetch someone if you need anything, okay?" Astrid asked and the two nodded eagerly. "Themis, you are an expert in this although with no scents to follow it will be much harder for you as well, I'd like for you to teach Hugo the tricks of tracking with the nose, and what else you know of that stuff," Astrid said and Themis gave a confirming nod. Hugo was a lot more reluctant to accept. "Our target is a pokemon which I have heard is in this area temporarily, it is called a aipom and should be purple in color. It likes to climb in trees, but that is also more or less information on it. Do you think you can do it?" Astrid asked and Ove, Themis and Benny nodded determined, Hugo and Kjeld much more hesitantly. "Good, it is alright if we fails, our goal is to train so that we do not fail when it really counts," Astrid said warmly but then turned seriously. "But you should treat this as a real mission, you cannot let yourself slow down or get distracted. You can of course ask for help and directions but if someone stands in your way, they will have to move or you have to go through them, are we clear?" She asked and got some grave nods in return. Astrid pulled out the inbuilt chair in her trolley, found a pokeball from the bag and sat down. "I would like if you stayed close for now, so that we can easily find each other. If we do not have any luck in this area we will move further on together. Do you need anything else or are you ready to start?" Astrid asked and the pokemon looked at each other, then split up. Hugo kept looking back but relaxed when he saw that Astrid had called out a little bug pokemon, probably mostly for company but it would be able to protect her a bit, should it be necessary. It was enough for Hugo to be able to concentrate on the task at hand. Ove took to the sky and Benny and Kjeld hurried after him on the ground, as the scyther slowly made his way towards the closest trees so that they could keep up with no trouble. Themis lead the way in the opposite direction, asking Hugo to fan out so that they covered a bigger area as they searched for some shrubbery or trees in the fog where their target could be hiding. As Astrid's team of Pokemon began to split up to take off into the fog in search of a swarming Pokemon, all was pretty calm in the fog, although it was a bit eerie with the hindered vision. There wasn't much in terms of noise, besides the light sounds of Ledyba somewhere in the distance and a slight breeze. Below the flying scyther, Benny and Kjeld were heading into a situation that was not quite expected. As they moved along, two resting keen-eyed Pokemon quickly took notice of their movements, and they were not happy. They had taken a break from flying for a bit, but it had been cut quite short by these intruders on their territory. Of course they had to get up and take care of it! Otherwise, was the territory really theirs? Brows furrowed, the Pidgey both tried to remain as silent as possible on their feet on their way towards the two intruders. Until they got close enough to attempt an intimidating entrance. Squak! Both the pidgey made their appearance loudly, directly in front of the two Pokemon, coming out of the fog and revealing themselves. Although they were just small birds, they tried to make themselves seem as scary as they could, with an angered look. Even if it wasn't scary much, to the birds, they thought they were scary enough to make Benny and Kjeld turn around the way they came. If not, the birds had made it very clear that they would have a fight on their hand. "You're on the wrong birds' territory," one of the pidgey said. "Better turn around!" Piped up the second pidgey. Pidgey (level 8) and Pidgey (level 9) approach angrily. You're on their territory, and you were not invited. They're not quite the Pokemon you were searching for... Will Benny and Kjeld fight the pidgey or try to reason with them? Shiny check: pTBxl30i1-42 1-421-42·1-42

Astrid spent time fitting the weird "hat" on the innocent looking scatterbug on her lap. "Now there, how does that feel?" Astrid asked and he looked up at her with wonder in his eyes, and tilted his head. Astrid chuckled. "It will help you learn, do you know about Kent?" Astrid asked and the scatterbug slowly shook his head, he didn't know what a kent was. She didn't get further as furious chirping and sudden movement caught her attention. "That was fast!" Astrid said surprised as she saw how her pokemon got intercepted, she watched closely to see what they would do about it.
Benny and Kjeld stopped abruptly and took a few steps back nervously. Then Benny puffed himself up and glared at the two birds in front of them. "We're on an important mission! Move aside and let us pass!" The fomantis demanded while Kjeld fidgeted beside him. "Per.. perhaps we should talk with them instead? They might have seen the purple pokemon?" The totodile whispered behind him and Benny glared. "Arh come on! Don't be so scared! We don't have time for that!" He hissed back and looked challenging at the pidgeys.
A flash of green and Ove stood in front of them and looked impatiently at the pokemon in front of him. "Kjeld, you handle that one over there, while I take the other one. Benny, be ready for the next part," Ove ordered and then leaped forward at the biggest of the two pidgeys, scythes at ready. Kjeld swallowed hard a couple of times and then aimed a shot of water at the smaller of the two pidgeys, Benny cheered them on eagerly and was ready for whatever the next part was!
The sound of commotion made Themis and Hugo stop, and they paused to look back. "Looks like that wont be much trouble," Themis commented and turned her attention forward again. "I see something over there, let's check it out and then we will go back around to the right to make a circle around Astrid," the growlithe decided and they padded on. "So, do you know how this aipom smell?" Hugo asked after a moment and Themis shook her head. "No, for this we'll need to use our eyes and ears, and ask around should we encounter some who lives around here. We can take a sniff at the trees and see if there is something unknown smell which we can try out, but that might just be a waste of time," she said and grimaced as what she had seen in the fog hadn't been trees but a big rock, with a smaller tree leaning away from it. "Let's check it out, before moving on," she said but didn't sound like she thought they'd find anything of interest here.

The wild Pidgey had never expected two small Pokemon to have a big friend, upon seeing this giant shadow they wondered if they made a mistake. "Did we make a mistake?" One asked the other, "N-no way! This is our area!" Then they saw what the figure was a bit more, a Scyther, a bug type. They were like the useless Caterpies and Weedles they saw many times. The Pidgeys began to laugh, mocking the Scyther named Ove. "You think you can-" Before they could finish Ove had rushed forwards and swiped their scythes twice at the stronger Pidgey. The Pidgey flew back into the tree and landed hard on the ground. The Pidgey felt like it couldn't move, and it would pass out any second. "H-how is a bug that strong?! They are just bugs!"Now annoyed the wild Pokemon forced itself up before flicking the wings up then harshly down causing a gust of wind at Ove. The big Scyther did not seem very fazed, was this Scyther trying to taunt them?! The Pidgey became to follow suit moving it's wings up to use a gust as well. Kjeld noticed this and wasn't going to let it happen, a blast of water shot out towards the Pidgey and covered the feathers with nice cold water. That hurt a little but annoyed the Pokemon more than anything else. The Pidgey looked to Kjeld now and with raged brows flapped the wings down hard causing another gust. "Get out here!" Kjeld braised himself and took the wind coming their way. That hurt less then he had expected, maybe this wasn't too bad after all? Unless you are the Pidgeys I mean. Ove's confident look changed to one of disbelief when the two small birds began to laugh, and at him! He could understand that they might want to mock Kjeld as he looked to be really uncomfortable about he situation, or at Benny as he didn't look impressive at all, but it certainly wasn't a reaction Ove had tried before! Usually he was the one sought after and admired, if not for his impressive look then for his shiny carapace, which had given him plenty of troubles in the past. He glared at them but it was easy to decide that the best way to teach the two of their mistake would be to stick with his great plan. He cut off the bigger pidgey's sentences as he slashed it with his huge scythes and sent it flying into a tree. "Don't judge a fruit on its skin, there might be surprises hidden inside," he said ominously to them and only glared mockingly back as the pidgey tried to retaliate with a gust of wind. He was too battleworn for those small things to make any difference to him. The second pidgey's attempt didn't even reach him as Kjeld suddenly found some bravery and shot it out of the sky with a well aimed blast of water. "Good! Now do that at the other one and I'll send Benny to help you," Ove said pleased and Kjeld grinned nervously up to him. Ove zoomed back and left Kjeld to fend for himself for a bit, until Benny had waddled up to join him. "So what's the plan?" Benny asked eagerly and turned away as Kjeld blasted another Water Gun at the bigger pidgey. The totodile then glanced nervously at the fomantis. "I don't know," he confessed and Benny gave him a encouragingly nudge. "Ove has one of his plans ready, I'm sure of it, just you wait and see!" Benny said cheerfully. A shadow fell above them as Ove took his place, he would dive for the first pidgey that either fell unconscious or ran away. They were rude and he would make them pay for that, not by violence but by choosing them to help in their search, if nothing else then by giving some knowledge. There were little for Themis and Hugo to find at the stone and the tree. The stone was easy to climb but only had recognizable smells of pidgey and other common pokemon. There were a small entrance at the bottom of the rock with an unknown smell, but it was both too small for the dogs to investigate and it was stale. Beside, their target lived in the tree and probably wouldn't dig a hole to sleep in then. "A circle then?" Hugo asked and Themis nodded and directed him to make a smaller one closest to Astrid, while she kept up with him in a it bigger circle. They trotted through the damp grass and made sure to keep each other in sight in the fog. Wordcounts: 503 (ooc: Benny switches in, Kjeld uses Water Gun on lvl 9 Pidgey) Blazey good job here, a couple of small mistakes though: The weather is currently foggy in Violet which it should be for this battle as well (since it started within this month), and then we're following the Sun/moon moveset and not the Let's Go, which can be confusing and an error that often happens. It means that pidgey shouldn't know Gust before level 9 ^^

The avian creatures facing the scyther and totodile seemed entirely oblivious to Ove's disbelief at their responses to seeing him. One of the pidgey, quite hungry it seemed, almost got distracted simply by the scyther's talk of fruit. Maybe the surprises inside of the fruit were yummy surprises? Oh boy these birds were a bit not in the right spot here. Their attention was allover the place. The smaller pidgey readjusted its attention back to the fact that its partner in crime was on the verge of passing out mid-air. "H-hey! We aren't going to be defeated tha- that easily! We don't want any of your fruits, we want you out of here!" The smaller pidgey was mad. Maybe not as mad as the bigger pidgey, but as of the moment, the small bird had a lot more capabilities of doing anything at all in this battle. "Where ya going, bug-eyes?" The pidgey rudely commented as Ove seemingly retreated. "Us birds too scary for a bug like you?" piped up the bigger pidgey again. Big mistake. With its focus on Ove, it couldn't even see what the somewhat worried totodile was doing. "Look ou-!!" It was too late. The blast of water from Kjeld's open jaw sent the bigger pidgey rolling onto the ground and out of consciousness. The smaller pidgey immediately turned back to Kjeld, making no note of the fomantis that had appeared. "You'll pay for that, ya here!" Making great speed as it flew through the air, the pidgey tackled into Kjeld. It retreated again as quickly as it had flown towards him, trying not to show its fear of facing the same fate as its partner in this battle. It had a duty to defend its territory and losing was not an option the pidgey was willing to let happen. Ove ignored the threats and calls from the pidgeys, he had a task and a plan he needed to execute and he couldn't let himself get distracted by obviously childish birds. Wit his size pidgeys had never really been a threat and they needed a lot of training and evolving before they could put some weights behind their words before it would apply to him. He took his position above the battle from where he could intercept fast if needed, but with how well Kjeld did it would probably not be needed. As the biggest of the pidgey succumbed to the unconsciousness and the smaller turned its fury at Kjeld, Ove dived and snatched up the fainted bird. He hed it gently as he had no intention of harming it, he just wanted to ask it or its friend some questions when either this one woke up, or the other calmed down enough to talk. While they might not have seen what they were looking for they certainly knew the area better and could have some valuable information they could use in their search.
"That's the way to do it, Kjeld!" Benny cheered when the pidgey flopped on the ground and the totodile smiled nervously to his soon becoming friend. The remaining pidgey screamed furiously and Kjeld ducked his head scared but only staggered a few steps as the bird had slammed into him. "Come on Kjeld, together we will win this one!" Benny encouraged and Kjeld looked a bit less nervous and nodded slowly and a bit more determined. A Water Gun was quickly followed by Razor Leaf which was all aimed at the remaining bird, it would have to be fast to dodge it all.
Themis and Hugo trotted along around Astrid in a wide cirkel but didn't find anything of interest. Hugo began to feel frustrated and stomped along and snorted several times when he got water in his nose from sniffing too hard. Themis glanced at him worried, they hadn't been at it very long and the more frustrated he began the worse his concentration would be. She tried to remember what how it had been for her back when she had learned it and how she had learned to cope with it. "We're doing good Hugo, relax," Themis said calmly and Hugo sighed but didn't look any less frustrated. "I mean it, this is a very hard task as we usually have something to follow and track down, or somewhere to start searching for a scent. It is alright if we don't succeed today, and to be honest I doubt we do today," Themis said. "You need to let go of the pressure and ignore the worry that we wont get anywhere today, it just destroys your concentration. Instead of focusing on what you don't find, then tell me what you can smell and why you think the smell is where you find it," Themis added and Hugo mumbled something she couldn't hear but he stomped less and looked more concentrated.

Pidgey was only fighting for pride at this point, the odds were very clearly stacked against it with the situation it was now in. The avian pokemon glanced up towards Ove who was holding its unconscious partner hostage before switching its focus back to its adversaries, it was not going down without a fight and was determined to protect its territory regardless of the cost. Kjeld's nervousness appeared to be dissipating slowly and the impact his attacks were dishing out was a clear reciprocation of this, his latest blast of water drenched the smaller, less experienced Pidgey and left it stumbling along the ground attempting to find its footing as it was clearly groggy from the damage that had been dealt to it. "I-is that the best you've got?"It wasn't exactly the wisest time for the near unconscious Pidgey to exhibit its true colours, though that was exactly what it did as it locked eyes with Benny the Fomantis and was well aware of the impending attack that would follow up. Benny's razor sharp leaves cut any hope the wild Pidgey had of winning the battle short as the avian pokemon fell to the floor, indefinitely unconscious from the amount of damage it had absorbed. The fainted Pidgey that was in Ove's possession was slowly coming back to reality after having been cleanly knocked out, it was sure to have a less than enjoyable time with the impending rendition of millionaire hot seat that was about to take place. "Well done! Ove praised as he landed beside the unconscious pidgey, still with the others in his arms. Benny celebrated by slapping Kjeld eagerly on the back and praising their work to the skies, while Kjeld grinned goofily, he was glad it was over and that it had went well. "So what now Ove? What is the plan?" Benny asked eagerly and looked curiously at the two birds. "They are going to tell us bit about the area and if they had seen any of the pokemon we're tracking down. They should know about the area and I doubt they will dare disagree helping us a bit after we have showed them their place," Ove said pleased and his two minions laughed. He gave the pidgey he held a gentle shake to wake it up and would smile kindly to it when it happened. "Hello, I'm sorry for the rough handling," the scyther said to the pidgey in his arms and would do his best to keep it from flying away at first. "I'll let you fly in a moment, don't worry, both you and your friend but we're here searching for a pokemon and need to travel through your territory. Please tell us, have you seen a purple pokemon who loves to climb in trees and is known as an aipom?" He asked and the three would listen closely to what the pidgey could tell them.
Themis and Hugo continued their circling around Astrid. "I think this is a pidgey..." Hugo said slowly and a bit annoyed. "And what has it been doing here?" Themis asked neutrally and Hugo growled. "I don't know!" He said frustrated and Themis made her way to him and sniffed around a bit. "Look here, you can see the earth has been dug up, so it has probably been searching for food. Can you figure out which way it has been moving and when it probably took to the sky again?" She asked and the furfrou looked at her like she was crazy. She smiled knowingly. "The scent is more stale where it was first and fresher where it was last, it is a tricky one, especially in this moist but it is doable," she told him and looked challenging at him. He returned her glance and then got to work determined. Themis watched him pleased and then went back to search around him for things that could lead towards their target.
Astrid played with Baal and waited, not much difference for her. She hoped her pokemon learned a lot from this training though it was hard to tell in this dense fog.

The poor Pidgey did not know what was going on, these Pokemon had fought it, one of which being a bug that had nearly one shot it. And now it was trying to talk to it? What kind of Pokemon were these? The pidgey had no idea, but the sooner it could fly away the better. "A purple Pokemon, Aipom?" The bird thought out loud trying to think what they meant. "Oh, you must mean those annoying monkeys. They are always knocking us Pidgeys out the trees or waking us up." The pidgey commented with a small huff. "You want to know where they are? They are normally by the taller trees behind me. They have much more branches to play with you see. Can I go now?" The pidgey stated waiting to be let free. When let free the pidgey would fly away quickly to a save branch to rest up. Though in the distance closer to these taller trees was a Pokemon cry. "Az ur rill!!" There was a small blue Pokemon wrapping it's tail around a tree. It seemed any fog had gone but now, the wind had picked up. Small Pokemon like Azurill didn't like this weather and it was clear to see why. The poor Pokemon was hanging on for dear life. If something wasn't done soon the poor little thing may lose grip and go flying. "Heeeellllppp!" The Azurill cried out, would any of Astrid's Pokemon help it out? Or would they leave it behind to find this Aipom? Azurill lv11 Oh my, a Azurill has appeared! Will you catch it before it gets away? Fx9HHLgO1-421-42

Ove nodded, and was quickly joined by Benny and Kjeld who mimicked him. "Yeah! We need to find it, quick!" Benny added eagerly and shied away when Ove sent him a warning glance. It might not be important today, but they might need to keep their cards close in a real situation and Benny could easily have said too much. Ove looked surprised when Pidgey continued and talked about a great number. "Are there many of them? And often?" He asked, he had thought they were scarce in this area and that was why Astrid had chosen it. Perhaps she had misunderstood something. Ove lifted his head and narrowed his eyes at the trees the pidgey talked about, then he smiled down at the pidgey in his arms. "Of course, thank you for you help. Kjeld, please wake out friend here too, and gently!" Ove said and the totodile spit a little water in the face of the unconscious pidgey. Kjeld would wave goodbye to the two birds as they left while Ove had his full focus on the trees and their potential content. Benny looked between the scyther and the trees. "Soo, do you have a plan?" The fomantis asked eagerly and Ove smiled secretly back to him and winked. "Either they don't care about being found or they will try to hide, so I want you and Kjeld to go straight to the trees and call out to them. I'll follow in the air and see if they try to run the other way and block them," Ove said quietly and Benny practically jumped up and down. "That sounds like a great plan! Come Kjeld!" Benny exclaimed and pulled the confused totodile with him towards the trees.
Ove buzzed into the air and got buffered by the wind that suddenly had appeared and which forced him out a balance for a moment. He quickly regained it and rushed off after Benny and Kjeld but didn't get far before a scream reached him and he spotted the azurill who was dangling from a branch. Ove stared at it speechless for a few moments as he wondered how in the world it had managed to get up there, the wind was strong enough to push it off the branch, but definitely not to blow it up there. He then buzzed over to hover below it and lifted his scythes, ready to catch it. "Don't worry, I can take you down," he said reassuringly and glanced over his shoulders for Benny and Kjeld but they were out of sight.
"Oh, what a strong wind!" Astrid said and pushed some hair from her face, Baal blinked a lot as he wasn't used to the feeling and the wind made his eyes water. "When you can fly, you will feel this everyday and you are going to love it!" Astrid chuckled and the scatterbug looked at her and didn't look like he understood.
Hugo nosed around and managed to figure out which way the pidgey had moved, before he moved on and sniffed on as he tried to find new scents. He forgot about his frustrations as he learned new things and Themis helped him understand the smells he found. The human who had walked past accompanied by a dry smell which probably had been a rock or ground type pokemon, the spinarak which had made web between some dead sticks and had given up on it again, and the tiny holes that revealed that the grass pokemon which had stood here not long ago had been one with roots! Suddenly a gust blew over the grass and shook Hugo's long fur and he lost concentration of what he had been trying to pintpont. He sighed and looked back at Astrid, who was still sitting on her trolley and he looked around. It was much easier to spot things now the fog disappeared.
"Let's check the rest of the area fast, no need to try find a smell in this weather when we don't have any lead to go by. Much easier to go by sight now, scent is best if you know where you target has been and need to find out, where it is now," the growlithe decided and Hugo looked relieved. They trotted on and scanned the area around for any signs of something purple, especially in the trees.

The hustle and bustle of the large group approaching was loud enough any wild pokémon could hear them. Buzzing, pack padding, the mechanical squeaks of a trolley... If the wind caught it right Astrid and her gaggle weren't going to be taking anyone by surprise. Luckily when traveling through the wilder portions of the route the gusts were generally shielded by the scattering of trees, so long as they weren't in the trees like that last blue ball of misfortune. However, weaving about into the thicker parts of forest lining well traveled sections of Route 32 did have its disadvantages. Up ahead the brush thickened, leaving only easy path for the elderly woman's trolley to fit through. This normally wouldn't be any problem, except that a tall bell-headed sprout had decided to plant itself right in the middle of the opening. It sat there, watching with its squinty little eyes as the troupe approached. It didn't move. In fact it started getting rather feisty the closer any of them got. It raised it's leafy arms and shook them violently, causing a ruckus not unlike the rattle of an ekans. It was rooted to the spot. The only way to get further this way into the trees would be to turn back and find a longer route around the brush, or to forcibly remove the bellsprout. A Bellsprout (LV 11) is in the way! Time to uproot this sucker! Or leaveWeather = GustingShiny? We2xPdKl1-421-42

The azurill looked relieved as Ove supported it and he slowly carried it to the ground, where it bounced down and with a quick thank you scurried off. Ove pushed his curiosity aside as it wasn't important at the moment and looked at his minions, they were still trotting towards the trees that was their goal. They hadn't reached them yet, but he'd have to hurry if he should get into place before they got there. Ove flew high up in an attempt to be able to see a great area around the tall trees Benny and Kjeld moved towards. He wouldn't be to catch up to them now, but perhaps he'd be able to see anything leaving the trees from up here.
Benny and Kjeld did make some noise as they moved through the grass, they didn't exactly try to be quiet as they hadn't been told to be so, and even if they had they might didn't know how to do it. Astrid would have been surprised if she had been told the wheels of her trolley could chase off wild pokemon, but that shouldn't be a problem right now anyway, as she was sitting in it quietly. Her talking with Baal could easily be the culprit though, humans could mean trainers and a clever pokemon probably would keep away from that but at the moment she didn't thought of that. She was sitting quietly and couldn't see any wild pokemon and expected none to be close by, and if there were any hiding she was certain her pokemon would sniff them out first.
Hugo and Themis didn't find much of interest other than a path that wove around the area Astrid was sitting in, and they followed it for a bit, until they encountered a living sprout, who had securely rooted itself in the middle of it all. They glanced at each other, when they were only those two they could easily go around but Hugo's hackles rose. He didn't like it being aggressive and leaving it behind this close to Astrid. "Please, may I handle it and move it further away? I don't like it being so close to her when we're going to leave her and it behind," he asked the growlithe tensely and she looked puzzled at him. To her it looked like it wasn't planning on going anywhere, and definitely not towards Astrid, but she shrugged. "Astrid did say we shouldn't let us slow down and it does look aggressive, if you think it will be faster to attack than to go around, I wont stop you," Themis said and half expected it to be a lesson about taking another route often being the fastest.
Themis trotted forward and flinched as Hugo raced past her, she paused to stare in amazement as he picked up speed and the air almost visibly formed around him. If he hit with that it would be quite an impact! He might be right about this being the fastest way after all.

The plant-based Pokémon with a stem-like brown body had set its ground and was not willing to move an inch, whether it was the wisest choice of action was yet to be determined. The wild Bellsprout showed no fear on its face as it noticed the quadrupedal, canine Pokémon with thick, white fur begun to charge towards it. Hugo's was moving so rapidly towards the stationary flower pokemon that his body became surrounded in an invisible energy. A bright flash of yellow light appeared in front of Hugo's face as he shot himself at his opponent. An orb of light purple energy with spiralling light yellow streaks around it appeared around Hugo's body as he slammed into the flower pokemon with great force The impact of the attack by Hugo the Furfrou was truly a sight to behold. The wild Bellsprout had indefinitely made the wrong choice to stand its ground on this day as it had been knocked completely unconscious after one attack, Hugo's attack had most certainly hit the mark as the roadblock in the form of a pokemon no longer was an issue to deal with. Soon enough the fainted Bellsprout would awake from its state of unconsciousness and question whether the decision it had made was a wise one. The black larval pokemon that was in Astrid's company started acting rather peculiarly, something was certainly going on it seemed... Hugo gained 2 levels and is now level 14! Baal gained 2 levels (1 via EXP. Share + 1 via Multiplier) and is now level 10! What!? Baal is trying to evolve?! Will Astrid allow her to do so!?

Hugo dug his claws into the ground and made a sliding stop after his attack. He was panting as he rarely used that much energy for an attack, and it had been quite some time since he had learned it and used it last. He did his best to ignore his shaking legs and looked around to try spot his opponent so he knew what to expect from it. "That was impressive, I doubt many could have faced that and kept standing," Themis said impressed and Hugo send her a brief smile. "As you said, we needed to get this over with fast," he attempted to joke and then broke into a cough. Themis gently touched his shoulder with her nose, "take a couple of deep breath and follow me when you're ready," she said and trotted over to sniff at the unconscious plant. Assured it wouldn't cause anymore trouble she continued forward scanning the area for their target. Hugo caught up with her as she reached the place where Ove, Benny and Kjeld had battled the pidgeys. "So what do we do now?" Hugo asked as they watched the scyther racing after the two pokemon on the ground. "Since there isn't any signs of the target in this spot, we return to Astrid and moved the search to another area," Themis said and added as they trotted back towards their trainer, "looks like Ove and the others might have found something, so we better start joining them."
Astrid waited and begun feeling a bit cold from sitting still in the wind, it was still early spring after all and even though the sun had gotten some strength the wind was really cold! Baal also seemed to be affected as he twisted and fidgeted and generally looked uncomfortable. "Oh little one, are you cold?" She asked the bug and attempted to give him a warm embrace, he wiggled out of it and just as she became concerned he got enveloped in a blinding white light. She shielded her eyes smilingly as she waited for his evolution to finish and she smiled down to the confused looking spewpa on her lap. "Look at you now! Feeling better?" Astrid asked and Baal settled down still looking uncertain of what had just happened.
Themis and Hugo arrived and looked expectantly at Astrid. "Have you already searched the whole area?" The old woman asked surprised and the two dogs nodded. "You are really effective! One of you better go get the rest so we can find another place to look," Astrid said and the two dogs exchanged glances while Astrid got to her feet and placed Baal on the trolley. Themis took a couple of steps in the direction of Ove and the others, and then looked expectantly back at Astrid and waited. It only took the old woman a few moments to realize what she wanted. "You want us to join them instead?" Astrid said and got a nod as reply. "I wonder if they have found something," Astrid mumbled to herself as she followed the growlithe. Hugo trotted after, pleased to be back and be able to keep an eye on his trainer again.
Benny and Kjeld reached their goal: the tall trees where the pidgeys had claimed to have seen the aipoms. "Hey! Anyone here?!" Benny called up loud and clear and Kjeld looked horrified at him and then began to shush him. "Shh! Do you want them to attack us?" He whispered loudly and Benny pushed him away. "Yeah, if they are our target! We should call out to them and get their attention. Don't be such a pushover," Benny said and then shouted at the tree again, if he didn't get immediate reaction he would send a flurry of leaves into the treetop. "Shouldn't we wait until we know Ove is ready?" Kjeld whined, he felt much more safe when the strong scyther was there to to take the brunt of the attacks from their opponents.
Speaking of Ove, he had still not caught up although he did his best. He focused more on getting height now so he could spot if anything ran from the trees that Benny was currently attacking, and if it was their purple target so he should be ready to intercept.
