Wet, wet and oh look still wet. This was not how Lithre imagined her journey would start. Wet and cold she continue on to get her starter pokemon and is eager to get to know him. Still a couple of blocks away from Professor Oak's lab Lithre already knew which pokemon she was going to start with as well as which name to give said pokemon, she was hoping for a male pokemon. Lucky for her she got a male charmander and named him Iorgos. She's not sure why she choose that name for him but it stuck however and her pokemon seemed to like the name and she was also eager to get to know him and battle with said pokemon. She put Iorgos in his pokeball and in her bag along with another pokeball that had a stufful in which she has yet to give a name too. The name Snuffles keeps coming up in her mind. Since that was the name that was in her head all the time and the fact that she can't think of another one she was going to use Snuffles for her stufful pokemon. She got the stufful pokemon from a friend who's bet she won the evening before her father's little "business" got found out and ruined.
To be honest, with everything going on, she kinda forgot about the pokemon until she set her sights on completing her own journey, luckily though when she let the pokemon out for the first time and after explaining everything in a short version, she was surprised that the stuffle didn't hold a grudge against her for the isolation and seemed very eager to be on the journey as well, you can say a little too eager. After getting everything she needed form the professor and putting Iorgos away, she set out in the floods and on Route 29 looking for every pokemon she can get her hands on and hopefully an electric type as well as she might need it for her fist gym badge which she is very eager to get. Treading through the long grass, wishing that she actually wore long pants instead of shorts, she thought of her parents back at there little hiding cabin. She didn't feel guilty for leaving them behind however she is still disappointed in her mother for choosing a comfort life over the lives of others.
She is also still angry at her father for what he did, having a smuggling ring under his basement and no one ever heard anything down there. She is even more disgusted with her parents as others lives where the funds for her education and comfort rather than coming from an honest living. The other reason for having her own journey is hoping to find some form of peace with the turmoil inside of her. Her father is to blame for everything gone wrong and her mother choosing comfort instead of the right thing and Lithre having to run in order to break away from it all. She sometimes blames herself as she should have gone down that basement instead of listening to her father and found out sooner what was going on instead of it being to late. Maybe she could have stopped what her father was doing sooner than the police.

OOC: Please update my Stufful with the below information.
Stufful Name: Snuffles Gender: Male Level: 1 OT: Sarara Hayes Attacks: Tackle, Leer Ability: Fluffy Nature/Personality: Snuffles is a cuddles especially with Lithre and has a lot of respect for her. He is also very fond of Lithre and acts as a big brother to the rest of Lithre's pokemon, often keeping them out of trouble especially Iorgos and his hording ways.
While it was wet and swampy inside of New Bark Town, it was nothing compared to the areas that surrounded the little town. The professor was lucky his laboratory was on high ground and safe from the high water levels, some of the houses at the edge had made obstacles around their homes to protect them should they reach that high. New Bark Town laid pretty close to the water after all.
The road leading towards Cherrygrove was mostly fine, you couldn't travel by it without getting your shoes wet but it wasn't submerged entirely, the grassy areas was quite muddy and plenty of lesser lakes had appeared here and there. Lithre would would spot a little flock of pidgeys who was taking a bath at the edge of one of those lakes, if she tried to get any closer they would fly off with wings flapping loudly. A muddy rattata pushed its way through what was supposed to be a field but it was down deep to its belly in mud, and it was clearly a struggle. It reached a rock formation and crawled up on it to get a break, before it would continue its trekking to where ever its goal was.
The landscape curved downwards and Lithre encountered a problem: water had gathered in the tiny valley, enough to submerge the road and blocking Lithre from continuing. Unless she of course wanted to take the change on how deep it was and see if she could cross with the risk of getting a cold swim. She could try to walk around it, there was trees on both sides so perhaps there was shallow waters nearby that she could wade through. There was also a fallen tree that crossed most of the water to the dry area on the other side, only it was blocked by a pokemon. A wurmple was balancing on the trunk, facing the side Lithre was on, and a wet and shivering spearow who looked pleadingly at the worm. The wurmple looked like it didn't really believe this could be true but still determined to not letting the soaked bird pass. Usually it could never order around others and definitely not the ones who often tried to eat it! The feel of power was exhilarating and it didn't want it to stop!
The spearow cawed measly but it was too cold too put up a fight and force its way past the wurmple, and it was too wet to just fly past it. It was stuck if it wanted to cross.
Wurmple [lvl 5] Is blocking the "bridge" and looks like it is surprised it can.
Spearow [lvl 3] is soaked and cold and cannot fly, and looks like i wants to cross the water.

Still soaked to the very bone and in a bit of a grumpy mood and cold, Litre came up on a very peculiar scene of a Wurple ganging up on a wet and freezing Spearow. "Wait a second, I thought it was the other way around. The Spearow should be holding the Wurmple hostage instead of this. At any rate, I hate bullies and there is only one thing to to about it" Litre thought and reached for her pokeballs. She was thinking of sending Iorgos out but she did promise Snuffles a fight as well. So she got out Snuffles pokeball and released him."Alright Snuffles, your up. Time to show this Wurple what happens to bullies, use tackle on him" Litre said and Snuffles went to fulfill his trainers command, excited to be fighting for the very first time. Litre was on the edge of excitement, having her very first battle and not even thinking twice on other was to resolve the situation. Well she was known to be a lose canon sometimes but she kept it well hidden from everyone. This battle kinda reminds her of the fight she had with her mother on leaving her father and making things right but has chosen a comfort life instead.
Litre and her parents were hiding in a wooden cabin in the middle of no where, hiding from the police. She can't believe what has happened in the home she was born in or that her father had a smuggling ring in the undergrounds of her home. The cabin was small to it could be hidden easily but on the inside, it was very comfortable. As you walk in, there were light blue couches with small light yellow pillows on them further in is a small kitchen with the best oven, fridge and dishwasher money can buy and of the the left side was the master bedroom with a dark oak wardrobe and a beige double bed with dark oak frame. On the right of the kitchen was a smaller room with a light green bed and a small oak dresser that was Litre's room. Once she was settled in, Litre went to confront her mother. She was nervous and hesitant to say the least but she had to do it. "Mom, can we talk about dad?" Litre asked her mother. "Of course sweety, what's on your mind?" Her mom asked her nicely and putting on a brave face for her daughter. "Don't you think what dad was or is doing is wrong? he should pay for his crimes and turn himself in." Litre said while taking a seat next to her mother. When her mother didn't respond, she continued. "We lost everything because of dad, do the right thing mom and leave him. We can go to Aunt Iynx and live with her and make a fresh new start without dad." When Litre was done, she was not prepared for what her mother said next. "No, I've had enough of being a peasant and being treated like one most of my life and I promised your aunt that I would never go to her for help. I rather live comfortably instead."
Litre had tears in her eyes and couldn't believe what her mother had said, so she went to her room and waited for nightfall. After she had a quit dinner in the living room, she packed her bags with everything that she thought she needed and left in the middle of the night to her aunt's house, not even leaving a note to her parents as she didn't want them to find her at all.
Litre had a few tears in her eyes, remembering the fight she had that day with her mother. She quickly wiped them of and focused on the battle, she needed to concentrate if she wants to win and maybe score a couple of pokemon in the process. While the fight was underway, Litre was also struggling with the turmoil she had inside of her. Her dad was running a smuggling ring under the house she was born in and her mother has chosen a comfortable live instead of doing the right thing. How could she forgive them for that, it ruined her life. She knew her parents wasn't going to let her go on her own pokemon journey so she decided to study to be a researcher at a pokemon laboratory, not only will she be working and learning about pokemon but the job would be giving enough money that her dad would let her go and study. It was a win win for both of them and she was going to announce her decision on her up and coming birthday but sadly that will never happen now. She had no idea if her parents are at the cabin still or got caught by the police, either way she didn't care.
Neither of the wild pokemon noticed Lithre before the release of Snuffles flashed and alerted them of the new arrivals. The spearow looked worried and puffed out its feathers making it look like covered in spikes as the feathers stuck to each other, it backed a bit fearing it wouldn't go well for it if it got tangled into a battle, otherwise it would just have done that to try deal with the wurmple. As it noticed that Lithre and Snuffles focused on the pink bug it lingered in the background in the hope that they would open up the passage so it could get going.
Wurmple looked more surprised than scared and it was still feeling it was ruling the world, so it took it a few moments to realize what was going on. It looked curiously at the strange looking bear that came rushing towards it, it had never seen anything like that before. Then reality hit it and it reared up to look bigger, it was not going to just give up and let go of the power it had just experienced, it would fight to keep it! "Stay away! I won't let you cross!" It called out to snuffles and then raced forward to meet its attacker. It jumped down from the tree trunk and slammed into the stufful, it paused as that had felt weird, it had never touched anything so soft before and it was taking by surprise when Snuffles repaid and pushed it backwards with his own tackle.

(ooc: Rules have changed for new players, so you don't have a bike anymore but will be focused more on for quicker replies. And the move pool we follow have changed to the newest one which at least affects Iorgos, who will be missing out on Ember unless you go to the festivals Move Tutor and use a berry for him to learn. He does learn Dragon Breath already at level 12 though.)
Lithre was still wet as the battle continues and wished that she brought her rain coat with her and some long pants. "Does it have to be this could when it rains? I should have listened to Aunt Iynx and packed a few warm clothes." However Lithre saw sunny sky's and thought differently than her aunt. Her aunt didn't argue with Lithre as she knew just how stubborn she could be but unbeknownst to Lithre, she sneaked in a warm cream and pink jacket with a blue denim and brown long boots with pink laces and a cream ribbon on top of the boots. Focusing on the battle ahead as a measure of distraction of the cold, she saw the wurmple retaliate against her Stuffles and it was really getting her mad. This Wurmple thinks he's high and mighty yet he's nothing but a little worm and Stuffles should have no problem taking care of it. "Snuffles use tackle again. Knock this Wurmple of his pedestal." Lithre really didn't like this Wurmple's attitude and was sure to change that when she captures said pokemon. Lithre was very excited on the inside, her very first battle and with a little luck, her very first pokemon. Thinking about this made her very anxious and was wondering what else she could find on her route to Cherry Grove city.
Just as she gave the order to her Stuffles, she heard something in the bushes and saw that it was the Spearow the Wurmple was refusing to cross the water. Lithre bent down and looked at the Spearow with a kind smile and put her hand out, hoping to show the Spearow that she means no harm and that she was there to help it. "It's alright Spearow, I'm not going to hurt you, I want to help you. I'll help you cross the water when this battle is over." Lithre said trying to sound soothing though she is not sure if it even worked and turned her attention backed to the battle. If she was going to cross herself let alone help the Spearow, the Wurmple had to go. She knows that Iorgos would liked to have a go at the Wurmple but Lithre made a promise to the Stuffles and was now fulfilling it. She will give the next battle to Iorgos when she finds other pokemon though she is not sure if the Spearow will be a problem when the Wurmple is dealt with. For now though, she gave the Soearow the benefit of doubt as her Aunt always tells her to do with people so she might as well do it with pokemon too.
What she couldn't understand was how this Wurmple thought it was though enough to prevent anyone from passing through. Lithre could just go up to it and through it of the log it was guarding and into the water in order to cross but not even Lithre could be that cruel to anyone, not even a pokemon. She did met some people who would actually do that if the chance was there, they were her rich friends before everything went south no thanks to her father. Her friends where Braden and Arya Horn, they were brother and sister, living next door to Lithre on a separate but just as big estate. According to what Lithre know, their father Lou Horn had a big grape vineyard and was making wine, thus making him very rich, however Lithre suspects that he was in on the smuggling as well and the vineyard made the perfect cover. She never really liked Braden and Arya as they always treated her like she was a nobody even if she was part of the rich community but when there are no other kids to play with, you take what you can get. The Hillsworn and the Horn's family estates were on the outskirts of New Bark town and thus shared the land with each other. While the Horn family had the vineyard, the Hillsworn family had 5 different farms and they were: Wheat, Sugarcane, Potato's, Carrots and Beetroot, thus having twice as much land as the Horn family which led to a bit of a rivalry.
The Horn family tried for years to get the Hillsworn's property to expand the vineyard or to just take over the farm land and continue what was already growing. A part of Lithre wondered if it was not them that send the police to investigate their house and thus running them out, the bank would claim everything within the land and then the Horn family can just buy it and do whatever the liked without anyone getting in their way. If that was the case Lithre is not sure of she would do anything about it if she finds out that they are behind it all and how did they managed to keep them out of the investigation. She would have to do her own little investigation to find out the truth and then decide what she want's to do with the information. Since she has changed her name and her appearance to disappear, she doubts anyone would recognize her but there is always a possibility. No one knew in Blackthorn City knew that she was really Joanne Skye Hillsworn, the one and only daughter of Andrew and Vera Hillsworn.
Wurmple looked at the stufful, from down here it didn't feel as much as the ruler of the world, as it was smaller than the plushy bear. It wouldn't do, it took away some of the confidence it felt and it didn't like that at all, it had spent its whole life being pushed around by others and fearing what others would do, it had been an impulse to show dominance over the spearow and now it had experienced the rush of power it wasn't going to let go of it again. It turned and crawled back up on the trunk, that was much better. From up here the wurmple could look down on Snuffles again and the spearow and it felt like the big strong one again.
Snuffles came running towards it and it eyed it calculated and then shot some poisonous needles at bear, they cut through the protective fluff Snuffles had easily and buried their way into his skin. Luckily for him the poison they contained didn't managed to do anything else than give him a slight sore where the needles had hit him. He continued forward and attempted to tackle the worm from the ground, which was hard since it had the advantage point. He managed to push it back a bit but not much more. The wurmple looked as confident as ever
The spearow watched from a distance, it didn't went as promising as it had hoped, although it made it feel a bit better about being bullied by the worm when others had trouble with it as well. It eyed Lithre nervously when she approached and looked suspiciously at she talked, and then jumped a bit away to keep distance to her. It wasn't leaving, it needed to cross the water if it wanted to get home, but it didn't trust the human trainer, they attacked and battled all wild pokemon they came across. She was scary.
