It was quite the day for Now, she had received her first pokemon. She decided she needed one for protection and heard that New Bark Town was the place where most people received their first one. She had entered simply asked what was available and received her first pokemon. It was called a Squirtle. However when she received Squirtle it was in a normal looking pokeball. Upon leaving the place she finally released Kameko from her ball. The Squirtle looked around surprised to be outside the lab, had she been chosen?
Looking back she then saw a new person, surprised she ran and hid behind a bush. Peeking out from behind it she eyed the new person. She was relatively tall to herself, but she looked like a gentle soul. Noe on the other hand simply smiled and crouched down, looking at Kameko. The pokemon's pink eyes scanning her for any reason not to trust her. Noe called out to Kameko, calling her by the new name for her. The Squirtle blinked and looked around for someone else, but it seemed there was no one. Finally the Squirtle looked back at Noe after finally accepting that that name was hers.
After a bit of social bonding the pair agreed to work together for the time being. There was only one way Now and Kameko could go, back the way Noe came, on to route 29 where a new adventure can begin.

It was a cold but pretty day Noe had chosen to start her journey, as snow calmly drifted down and covered the landscape in a white blanket. Noe better know which way to go since the road was covered in an inch of snow and there were no clear markings of which way it was going. Instead there were several footprints in the snow, from a variety of pokemon and people which crisscrossed the area, some fresh and some slowly getting covered by new snow. It was a winter wonderland with endless possibilities! Unless you were a wild pokemon of course, then snow meant that food got covered and it was harder to hide against the white background. It also meant that trainers more easily could track the pokemon, if they knew how to follow footprints, and while it for some pokemon would be an easier life with a trainer, getting well fed and not having to worry about something jumping them, not all wanted to leave the area and the life they knew. Others thrilled with the challenge, and a pidgey who had had to fend for itself most of its life, enjoyed playing around with the humans hunting it and chasing them off when it granted them a battle. It had been pushed out of its flock in an early age since its shiny feathers attracted unwanted attention and in the flock the group's safety stood about the individual, it was safety in numbers and hiding among the others, but this pidgey had always stood out. It had been some tough years but it had learned to fend for itself and that it didn't need anybody else. Noe's encounter with it started by her seeing a young trainer running away from the shiny pidgey, holding his fainted pichu in his arms. The pidgey watched them run from the air and then landed to gobble up the berry which he boy had dropped. It confidently leap in the air and noticed Noe and Kameko whom it watched calculating, wondering if they had food it could get and if they were easy enough to beat for it. "Careful, its tough!" the boy called out to Noe as he ran past her, he didn't stick around to see what she would do. The pidgey did though, as it saw a fair chance of getting a second victory, and it called out its challenge and then flew towards them in high speed. A shiny Pidgey [lvl 5] is high from its latest victory and is challenging you. Snowfall (clear) is in effect.Shiny: IFzoMkYj1-421-42

"Oh! A pidgey of unusual color, interesting," Noe watched as the boy ran towards them, the light reflecting off the snow nearly keeping her from seeing what he was holding. A Pichu, an electric type pokemon that should of had some sort of advantage. Guess it couldn't handle the flying pokemon. As the boy ran past her he mentioned how tough it was and well it called out it's cry and she happened to see it was flying straight at her.
Kameko saw this and immediately moved herself between the two, looking to at least defend Noe and prove her worth. It was what she was picked for right? "Squirt!" She said taking a defensive stance. She looks up and waits for some sort of command if any. This would be her first real battle since being at the lab and she figured it was this strange girls first time as well win or lose, Kameko was gonna give it her all.
Noe flinching away, just happened to look down and see Kameko prepare for a fight. "Hmm, well I suppose we have to do this more often, to train you and keep you in good health. I promise to do my best." Now she had to scan her memory for moves and sayings that she had seen other trainers do. Some from TV, some from real life experience, she finally remembered at least one move a water type could have. "Kameko, please prepare to counter with a water gun attack!" She moves her body in an elegant fashion similar to water.

The wild pokemon was well on its way by the time Kameko stepped into action. Committed, the small bird of golden feathers kept going straight, adjusting only mildly to home in on the defender. It sent forth an alarming cheer at the sight of Noe flinching, the sight proving to fuel its overconfidence in battle. Pidgey attempted to get at one of the softer bits of the turtle pokemon. Though not wholly successful, the avian managed to slam into the squirtle's arm. As the two collided the bird lost all its speed. Kameko wasn't large but she was sturdy and her superior bulk proved useful against her hollow boned opponent. Pidgey was left a little bit stunned, hovering in the air just beside as it got its bearings and decided where to fly to gain a bit of distance. Unfortunately for it, even as it made to leave melee range Kameko's plan of attack didn't require close contact. A powerful stream of water spit after the fanned tail feathers. Pidgey squawked in surprise as the water splashed harshly all over its back. It wasn't enough to even momentarily ground the flying pokemon, but it did make the effort to stay airborne more laborous. Its body well wetted it now had to flap even harder just to move around. The wild pokemon opted to land on a near mound of snow that hid a small bush beneath its white blanket. The bird chattered confidently, spanning its wings as it sat perched on its higher ground. Glad she had jumped in front of her trainer, Kameko takes the solid blow. Wincing from the shock of pain in her right arm. She hadn't felt pain like this before in her life. She got her revenge though, with a douse of water from behind. It seemed to have caught the Pidgey off guard and caused it to falter, if only a little, as it landed on higher ground. A bush maybe? Kameko stands eyes trained on the bird watching it's every move.
Noe watched as the events unfolded and hoped that Kameko was truly okay. She bent down and looked the tiny turtles arm. For now it seemed unbruised, but she wondered how much she could actually take. Taking out the device that was given to her along with Kameko, Noe scanned the both of them. It was indeed confirmed that this Pidgey was indeed a different color, what some would call a shiny perhaps? She shrugged and looked at Kameko, "Squirtle, the tiny turtle pokemon. When it feels threatened, it draws its legs inside its shell and sprays water from its mouth." She looks at Kameko then to the Pokedex and puts it away. It seems she knew water gun, so why not try it again. The Pidgey did indeed look like it didn't like it at all.
"Kameko, please use the move Water Gun once again," She looks straight at the Pidgey and gives a warm smile, "Please give us your best." Kameko responded in kind giving the Pidgey a smirk and began to make the motion to spew more water at the golden bird.

The shiny pidgey glared at Kameko, it was cold getting wet in this weather! Of course its feathers somewhat repelled water, or else it wouldn't be able to fly but that didn't mean it couldn't feel it and if it got too soaked it could get too cold and that could give it some troubles. It needed to do something about that water and then victory would be its once again, just as it always had been. It flapped its wings a bit harder to get rid of the water before it froze its wings and made it even harder to fly. Neither Noe nor Kameko looked to be in a hurry, taking time to let it sit and rest for a bit, it thought they were fools for doing that but it wouldn't complain as it gave it time to think. Some strange sounds came from Noe's hands and Pidgey decided it was time to get things started again, so it could send them running and leaving behind some food for it, to stop it form chasing them. It was a foolproof tactic and a great way to get enough food during the winter. The season could work for it as well, it jumped to the sky and quickly gained height, before it swooped down and brushed the snow to send a spray over the squirtle. The cold, dirty snow stung in her eyes and made them water making it harder for her to see. Kameko was not ready to give up from a bit of irritation like that, she had something to prove after all and she squinted at her moving target and sent another blast of water at it. The squawk from Pidgey confirmed she hit it and it flapped hard to stay airborne. Not expecting to be blinded by dirty snow, Kameko managed to still hit the bird with another blast of water. She then spent this time trying to remove the snow as best she could from her eyes. "Squir..." She says in frustration. It was a bit of work to do to get this off without completely freezing herself with water. She looks back at Noe signaling for what she should do next.
Noe sees what happened and somehow gets some on herself. She is quick to brush it away and looks to the Pidgey, "Good shot, but are you okay? You seem to be trying hard to stay afloat." She reaches into the bag she had just recently bought with her own earnings to hold the various items that a trainer would need. Feeling around inside she pulls out a small red and white ball. "Kameko, I shall try and capture it."
This red and white ball, expands with the click of a button and fills her hand. "Please join me and I can surely give you what you wish. A friend and food? I don't know why exactly why you engaged us, but I will help you to the best of my abilities." She takes a moment and finally tosses the ball at the pokemon. Noe puts both hands together and silently prays to both the legendary pokemon of the region for hope that it goes in her favor.

The shimmering but rough looking pidgey really had a hard time keeping itself airborne now, its feathers had begun to freeze a bit and drops of water and half frozen ice fell of it every time it flapped. It was pleased to see that Kameko had some trouble cleaning her eyes even though it hadn't helped it much this round. It was beginning to contemplate to throw more snow and then run off as the prize might not be worth the risk of getting too cold. The sounds Noe made still didn't make much sense to the pidgey, who the humans didn't just speak properly like any other pokemon was beyond it, but it did understand what she wished when it saw the pokeball. It rolled its eyes. Many humans had battled it and attempted to throw those red and white things at it, and the first few times back when it had been inexperienced, it had been sucked inside and barely managed to get out again. It had learned its lesson and knew how to handle the things, so when the ball flew, it did too. Straight at it. Usually that gave some excited sounds from the humans, right up until it slapped the ball away and either knocked out their pokemon or flew off. It was the plan again today, but as the Pidgey swung its wing around the movement was slowed by the ice on its wings, and the cold which had begun to settle in some of its muscles. It brushed the ball which then hit its other wing and it screeched as it got pulled inside. The ball shook once.. twice.. and a muffled ding came from the snow, where it had landed. The pidgey was caught. Running feets shuffling through the snow was heard, and a black dressed woman raced past Noe, sending snow flying in all directions. She reached the pokeball containing the Pidgey, grabbed it and began racing away over the snow. "Thanks!" She called back to Noe with a grin and without stopping running. The ball sores through the air, straight at the Pidgey. The Pidgey, however flew straight at it. Noe was confused, didn't most Pokemon not wanna be caught? She watched as it attempted to hit the ball away, but being so cold and the water freezing over on it, it must have slipped up. As the pokemon was sent directly into the ball. As it hit the ground, the ball slowly rocked. Three rocks was all she needed, one....two....three.... Then a very muffled click. She smiled, "Well I should-" Interrupted by the sound of fast feet in the snow, a person in black ran past her and grabbed the ball. Something clicked in her when this happened. It was almost like when her sisters were taken away from her by her mother. She looked on furiously at this person and immediately began pursuit. Surely it was hard to move in these things, but she was practically raised in one. Kameko swiftly followed behind. "You complete and udder excuse for a human being. Treasure is mine and I won't let you take him that easily!" She yells chasing after the fool. Kameko didn't have a chance to see what was going on on Moe's face, but it couldn't have been good when she was yelling and telling this person off. I mean, that Pidgey had just been caught by her, she should have been quicker and reacted faster. However seeing her in this state now, made her wonder why she was acting the way she was, she got the whole caught pokemon thing, but something didn't seem right. Her attitude was frightening to Kameko, to say the least. "I will do my darnest to catch up to you, lowlife!!" Shiny PidgeyName: Treasure Gender: Male Level: 5 OT: Noe Attacks: Tackle, Sand Attack Ability: Keen Eye Nature/Personality: Adamant Treasure was always standing out in the crowd, literally. His appearance attracted unwanted attention and he wasn't having any of that. No he prefers to do things forcefully, battle, heck yeah head on! Sleep in the pokeball, heck yeah head on! The Team Rocket grunt laughed when she heard Noe's furious reaction, it was fun to get such strong reaction, but of course it was also a shiny she had gotten her hands on. She was pretty sure she wouldn't get to keep it for herself, it was too valuable to stay with a low ranking member as her. But she really looked forward to hand it over to her nearest boss and see their reaction and she dreamed of what reward they would give her for this stunt. She had joined very easily and hadn't really had any chance to prove herself to her superiors but this pidgey would really make them notice her and she would get a top spot in no time!
"Catch me if you can!" She called back laughing to Noe as she raced on through the deep snow, "Finders keepers!" She added with a grin but was beginning to breath heavily. Darn snow, she would certainly had been way off by now, if it hadn't been slowing her down. "Well, it was rather easy, so now this treasure is mine," The grunt mocked cheerfully, "are you sure that is even possible in that attire? Why don't you just go home and cry, pretty face?"
The snow was really tough to run through and the grunt could feel it, she pushed on as long as she could but didn't have the stamina. With a groan she stopped and turned to face Noe, who annoyingly had managed to keep up with her on the long chase. The grunt smirked. "You want your pokemon, alright here it is!" She said and called Tresure out of his pokeball, facing Noe and Kameko. He was still wet and his flapping movements to stay airborne was a bit shaking from the cold he was suddenly in again. "Those ones were mean to you and caught you Pidgey, I'm here to help you, give them a Tackle!" The grunt said eagerly thrilled about having a shiny pokemon on her side of the battle field, one she could control. She didn't think one bit that this was technically still a wild pokemon, so why should it listen to any human? The grunt was ready to recall him, should it be necessary and replace him with her own less shiny looking pokemon.

Moe's anger was beginning to subside some as they stopped, she breathed heavily never having to actually run like this very often. She looked at the grunt, "Let him go!" She said in between breaths. The cold was slowly creeping back as the warmth that had built up by running slowly started to dissipate. To her surprise, the grunt released Treasure from the ball. However the poor thing was still in bad shape. The water hadn't completely dried, so he was still wet and cold.
Kameko was just as tired, why couldn't she have just gone into her ball? Oh well that was in the past, all she knew was that it was cold, this person in front of them was bad and the Pidgey they had just caught was now facing them, again. Though judging by the look on it's face, he looked quite upset. Kameko looked to Now, who looked back to Kameko. The grunt told Treasure to use tackle! "Kameko use wi-'
Treasure had had enough of being cold, being alone, being hungry and being sought-after. This thought was immediately disrupted by swing the snowy white world again. Plus the lady she had fought against again. On top of that sight, it was cold, he was wet and someone else was telling him to use tackle. He was slightly airborne and could hardly keep himself afloat due to the fact he was still wet. Finally, looking behind him, he saw a new face whom he hadn't seen before. This person was dressed in black and had a big R on their chest. "This person was mean to you and caught you, Pidgey, I'm here to help you, give them a Tackle!"
This person wanted a tackle? In fact why was she so different and heck why wasn't the trainer who caught him giving orders, was he taken by this person? The trainer in the strange clothing looked very concerned about the situation. The person he was looking at now, showed only distress and the want to get out of here. He had made his decision upon that. "Pidgey!" He says loudly, turns and heads straight for the person in black.

"Ah!" The grunt exclaimed and ducked as Treasure dived at her. "Stupid bird! I told you I'm here to help you! Don't you hate the ones who just caught you? Or are you scared of them?" She called after the shiny pidgey, who apparently had chosen side already. "Alright, alright! If you don't want revenge then I just call you back so you can relax!" She huffed and attempted to do so, but missed with the beam. It was hard to hit a moving target like that. The grunt glanced quickly at Noe, she had expected the pidgey to be angry at its captor or thinking the battle was not over yet, but with things looked now, she was outnumbered. She smirked, this was exciting! She took Noe's silence as a sign of insecurity and she still had Treasure on her grib even though he was flying around and she hadn't been able to recall him yet. She had his pokeball so he was hers, she just needed to deal with this stubborn girl who wouldn't accept defeat. "How are you feeling? Super tired I guess," the grunt asked sugar sweet, Noe and Kameko had just battled a tough battled followed by a run through deep snow, the grunt knew who had the best card in their hands. She did. A koffing materialized as the grunt called it forth to aid her. The purple ball turned around itself and looked pointidly at the grunt who pouted and gestured to the pidgey. "I got that one, I just need you to get that girl and her pokemon to back off," she said stubbornly and the koffing looked at the pidgey, before it smiled pleased and turned to Noe. The grunt visibly relaxed, it was recently they had been paired and perhaps the koffing was more experienced in this type of work than the girl was. "Just turn around and find something else to catch, or become poisoned, that's up to you to decide," the grunt said casually with a shrug. The Grunt defends herself with a Koffing [lvl 7], it has the Levitate Ability.

Treasure looked on in displeasure as the girl in black ducked away from his attempt at tackling her. Anger was boiling up in him, but the cold was wearing on him. Still as she tried to recall him, he was barely able to dodge the beam of light himself. He looked over as she released a pokemon, purple in color and round, but had craters all over it. He saw what looked like a strange symbol as it turned to face the grunt, but it seemed to be releasing a gas as well. The Rocket monologued some and after thinking up a small bird sized plan, decided to try and fend for itself as it seemed the purple ball was supposed to distract Noe. Swooping down the bird kicked up dirty snow, pointedly at its own ball.
Noe watched as the Pidgey went for the other trainer, not knowing why it decided to do that. After all, she might of thought it would attack her instead. She listened to the Rocket distinctly and wondered what exactly what she was getting on at, "Tired? Of course I am. Wouldn't you be after trudging through the snow after some lousy Rocket took the pokemon you caught? Hmm?!" She was still a bit short of breath, but fire still burned in her eyes. She looked on at the purple ball of gas, "Kameko, you got this?" She asked the tiny turtle. Kameko, stepping forward, nods and stares down it's floating opponent. Doing it's best to give it a wicked grin back. "Thank you."
Kameko looked on watching as things were taking a turn for the worst and then somewhat positive again. Though the fact didn't change that Treasure was still in the hands of the evil looking person on the other side of the field. She watched as Treasure tried to tackle the Rocket, miss, almost get returned to his ball and now she was staring down a pokemon that was kinda intimidating to say the least. She did her best to look intimidating back, but she felt she wasn't doing so well. She moved forward looking at it and taking a defensive stance once again, looking back at her trainer for direction.
"Kameko, please do as I do," with a few fluid like movements, she began to dance a little. Nothing complicated, but easy motions. Kameko tries to do the same thing, albeit a little stiff, "Now imagine water and the torrent it can be, please give that pokemon a good dousing! Use Water Gun!"

Aiming with snow on a small target wasn't easy, and Treasure's attempt of hitting his own pokeball didn't go very well. Instead he showered the grunt in a lot of snow, effectively distracting her as she exclaimed and covered her face from the snow. "Hey! I'm having a battle here! Go in your ball and behave!" She shouted at the shiny pidgey and half attempted to recall him, but didn't even bother to aim so he didn't need to move to avoid the beam. "Good, hopefully that will make this be over fast so I can get going with what is rightfully mine," the grunt said teasingly and rolled her eyes as Noe instructed her squirtle. "Are we having a battle or a dance competition?" She mocked and laughed at her own remark, "or is your squirtle just so dumb it doesn't know how to use its own move and you have to show it each and every time?"The grunt liked to feel that she was on top for once, she felt sure her cool koffing would have no trouble dealing with the exhausted squirtle, who had both just battled and then running through snow. There was no way this could go wrong. "At least mine doesn't need silly stuff like that, Koffing! Poison Gas!" She ordered and took several steps backwards while pulling some clothes up to cover her nose and mouth. Kameko was the fastest of the two, and shot her water straight at the poison ball's face. It didn't move a muscle and just took it, leaving it soaked and with water dripping out of the craters. Then gas shot out of all craters and filled the air in all directions, making it impossible for Kameko to avoid it, and she couldn't hold her breath long enough for it to go away on her own. Noe would have to be careful not getting poisoned herself, and the same should Treasure, although the bird at least had wings and could easily fly to a safe distance. The grunt giggled but didn't say anything or else she might inhale some of the gas herself. Did this human have bad aim or what, she completely missed Treasure a second time. He was about to jump up and fly at her again, but seeing the Koffing let loose it's gaseous cloud he thought again. This time he would have to retreat and fly up into one of the trees further from the fight, he would then work on cleaning his wings.
Kameko released her burst of water after being laughed at by both of them, at least she thought they were both laughing, that Koffing did nothing but smile. Well that was until it released a cloud of gas quicker than she could hold her breath. She began coughing some and felt a bit sick after inhaling some after. It was too the point that it began hurting pretty bad, not enough to warrant an emergency, but enough to keep her on her toes. She began moving backwards until she met Noe.
Noe was very concerned, looking around at the battlefield and the gas that was slowly heading her way. It was poisonous for sure, with the way Kameko looked she wasn't gonna last long. Though that looked like a pretty solid hit. Noe would have to back away a bit at least until the gas cleared, but wouldn't that be a bad thing? Immediately she decided to cover her mouth and nose with one of the sleeves of her kimono and attempted to hold her breath while slowly moving away. Her muffled voice was not so clear, but she tried her best to tell Kameko what to do next. "I know this situation doesn't look good, but we need to persevere, the faster the Koffing is down the quicker this ends and we get Treasure back. Use Tackle this time while trying to hold your breath as best you can. Please be careful!"
