Eolas is a large college town on the western coast of Ireland. It's not quite big enough for there to be a lot to do, and not quite small enough that everyone knows everyone. Most of its population is university students, or folks who initially came for school and decided to stay. Aside from the school, there are two big factors folks consider in whether or not they'd like to stay in town. First is the prominent kink community and vibrant nightlife; not every place in town is saturated with it, but it certainly is more noticeable than in most places. Second is the rather strange occurrences rumored to happen in and near the town. It's probably all just urban legend, but some folks get spooked enough to leave, or intrigued enough to stay...
Unbeknownst to the human citizens of Eolas, they have a closely neighboring city. Elfbhaile is built in layers within the largest nearby hill. Originally a faerie city, it has become a haven to all manner of supernatural beings. Elfbhaile considers itself superior to its human neighbor and holds itself to a higher standard, but that doesn't mean there aren't citizens who are curious about the goings on in Eolas. Besides, every citizen who needs or desires one is granted a Talisman that allows them to take human form upon leaving the city-- not that all species strictly need one to pass for human, but some like to change their appearance up regardless-- making it easy to go check things out whenever they like. They just have to be careful that humans don't find them out, or be ready to deal with any consequences if they do.
We are hoping to build a fun little community of folks looking for something a little different to indulge in. If you've ever considered kink RP but prefer animanga aesthetics to celebrity FCs, or if you have a thing for supernatural settings and want to be able to go completely wild in one, or you just need a place to unleash all those feels that one supernatural ship gave you (you know the one), then we hope we can be a new home for you!
