Pokemon Brilliant Diamond is around 6minutes and Arceus about 14 minutes in
AAAH! Following pokemon! And the underground looks cool! I really like the upgrade they have done to that. I was planning on getting gen4 remakes as more or less my last pokemon game, since they don't hold the same interest for me anymore but it was the first one I ever played. I'm really looking forward to it now!
As for Arceus, I'm still debating. Kind of want it but again, I'm horrible at finding time to play games.. But I really want that evolution of stantler! *swoons*

I'm actually really excited about Hisuian Wyrdeer and Growlithe ^^
I don't normally like rock types, but Growlithe's growin' on me fast.

I am still holding my breath for BD\SP only because of certain mechanics like mega forms still have yet to see I also want to know about the Regigi line since they also played a big role in the original Gen 4 games. As for the other games mention in the video, Unite and GO should have had their own five minute videos because of their own popularity. I forgotten Pokemon Cafe existed and seems the first version needed major updates. It is odd it already got a remake being out only for a few months. I played Masters EX for a short while. I think the concept of it still could work but not sure about the game play\mechanics since it been too long since I played it. A couple of games they could have tossed in place of Unite and GO is Let's Go Johto and Pokemon Quest Johto. The Pokemon Quest is an older mobile game in the same design of Minecraft. I enjoyed it and the idea of cooking food to get Pokemon to you was an interesting twist. I'm still not a big fan of the Let's GO line but do see what it does for drawing the casual player into Pokemon. This video is definitely more for the full deep down players especially with the Gen 4 remakes and Legends.
IF Legends holds true to the ARPG\RPG style it is flaunting in the video, I can see boards similar to this one having a much closer Legends theme being made. The biggest question of Legends is who or what is the antagonist? We know who your friends\allies are but who do you fight against? Do we even get a good timeline with this game as in where does it fit within the established Gen 4 line or will it retcon some of it?
Does anyone see other "Legends" games being made for the other regions if this one succeeds?

I skipped almost straight ahead to the remakes and Legends. I'm debating, if the remakes are interesting enough for me and/or the kid to buy at some point (christmas present, maybe?). It's certainly nice to see the pokemon following you again, but I might be a bit iffy with the mix of chibi style and not. Completely opposite of Tarlar, the Sinnoh games was the first I didn't complete, so it doesn't hold the same nostalgia for me as some of the older games. Now Legends is what made me actually consider buying a Switch, and I'm still hooked, so I guess that's good. I like the emphasis they have put on the plot actually being the research of wild pokemon, so the story/quests revolve around getting out there and find specific Pokemon. It speaks to the part of me, that loves researching in depth about a topic that interests me, and Pokemon is just that topic I also like the look and what looks like more free movement, and that you can actually get attacked as a human and will be able to dodge/roll out of the way. A mechanic I'm familiar with from a completely different game, but I've actually been missing outside of the Wild area in Sword. I guess I know what I'll be getting for myself as a birthday present next year ^^

I am not a huge fan of the overworld art style for BDSP at all. It is pretty faithful to the originals but it also just seems so weird flipping between chibi and 3d models when in battles. Legends Arceus on the other hand looks like it has a ton of potential. Yes the areas look less lively than I hoped and yes the game looks rough around the edges but it is by far the most ambitious looking mainline Pokemon game. I am planning on getting it as soon as it comes out as the only other Pokemon games I have on the Switch are the Lets Go games I was not a huge fan of. I am quite curious how the game will look on the OLED model which I habe preordered to replace my launch day Switch that broke a year ago.
I also love both Basculegion and Wyrdeer. It is great seeing both Bascullin and Stantler get some love as both Pokemon are super outclassed nowadays.

BD\SP new trailer
We have two new trailers. Arceus is reminding me way too much like Alola in this one. Now, BD\SP got my interest a bit more with the idea of having a place to let out all six of your Pokemon similar to what they do in anime. They also give you a human companion which I don't know or remember if previous games had that. The human companion also reminded me of the anime.

They looks like they are part ice types, I guess? I wonder if they are purely or a mix

normal ghost, though ice ghost would have been neat ^^, though I guess we already have that with froslass. Normal ghost is a crazy good typing though. Immune to ghost(one of ghost's weaknesses), immune to fighting, normal's main weakness, this thing will be a BEAST!

Ghost and normal? Ghost I guessed could be an option but I hadn't expected the normal part too, I wonder about the reason for that. I still think Zorua is cute and I'm still not a big fan of Zoroark

not sure, guess we will find out! Yah I have always loved zorua, and been indifferent to zoroark. I am far more likely to never evolve a zorua hehe

Did we just casually watch a man die!? lol Dark, Pokémon
What a weird type combo :0 With Tarlar on the Zoroark design. The stringy extensions (probably trying to do something 'wispy' and failing) and emo-style hair-over-one-eye is meh. It kinda lazy to make the main color white just because normally it's black too >.> A boring design trend it seems.

maybe, or he might have fled, hard to say
japan has a few ghosts that are snow related, they probably figured ice was assumed and we never got a normal ghost so I don't find the swap lazy. It looks nice and they blend in with their territory. as someone who never liked zoroark, I actually kinda like this one more, but I still don't like zoroark as a pokemon XD it always had that 'edge' look to it. Always much preferred zorua.

Just wanted to get my opinions out there. First of all, regarding BDSP, I am so pumped for these games! The original Diamond and Pearl were my first Pokémon games ever, and how I got my start as a trainer. I played it together with my brother and our two cousins, but naturally, I had no idea what I was doing at first. I even lost against Roark the very first time I fought him. But somehow, against all odds, I was the first one of the four of us to beat the Elite 4. And I did it on my first try too. Of course, I plan on doing things differently this time around, but I'm really looking forward to revisiting Sinnoh nonetheless. As for Legends, this looks fantastic! A whole new spin on Pokémon, and set in an Edo period Japan-type region. I love it! The only thing I'm not crazy about is the whole open world thing. The Wild Area was the one thing about Sword and Shield that I didn't care for. Maybe it's just me, but personally, I think Pokémon doesn't need all these fancy bells and whistles to keep people interested. Mega evolution, Z-moves, Gigantamax, Wild Area, etc. Who needs all that stuff? Not me. IMO, Pokémon is and has always been great the way it is. There's absolutely nothing wrong with just sticking to the basics, and if anyone disagrees...Well, that's their loss. That being said, I am very much looking forward to seeing what other kinds of new evolutions and regional variants Legends has to show us. Game Freak did this back in Diamond and Pearl too for a lot of Pokémon if anyone else recalls. Rhyperior, Dusknoir, Electivire, Magmortar, Froslass, Gallade, Togekiss, Yanmega, Gliscor (My personal favorite), etc. Anyway, I feel like there's still quite a few unloved Pokémon that could really use a new evolution to help level the playing field. Personally, my biggest hope for a new evolution is the Land Snake Pokémon known as Dunsparce! This poor little Pokémon has been tragically ignored for generations and could really use an evolved form IMO. And to be totally honest, I think if Dunsparce were to evolve, it would look awesome! Not just appearance wise, but in battle too! I imagine it would be something akin to Magikarp and Gyarados. Starts out weak and unloved, but then evolves into something cool and powerful. And finally, in regards to what some of you have been saying about Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark, I think some of you may be missing the bigger picture. First of all, I think there's a deeper meaning to their new typing. Think about it. As a Normal/Ghost type, it only has one weakness. And that one weakness is the same type as the original Zorua and Zoroark. Dark type! Personally, I think Game Freak made them these types with that in mind. Secondly, I'm super excited for Hisuian Zoroark and definitely want one on my team, and let me tell ya why. Some of you may not be too crazy about their new designs, but I completely get what Game Freak was goin for with them. As I said, Legends seems to be set in Sinnoh, but during something akin to the Edo period in Japan. And as some of you might know, a popular legend in Japan is that of the Kitsune. Also known as the nine-tailed fox. Granted, yes, I know the Pokémon Ninetales already exists, but Zorua and Zoroark have something that Ninetales doesn't. The ability to create illusions, which the Kitsune is known for. It's also known for being white in color, with red tips in its fur. At least in most depictions it is. Anyway, in a game like this, I fully expected to see some new Pokémon centered around some popular Japanese legends and yokai. And I can't wait to see what else Legends Arceus has in store for us. Bottom line: These games look absolutely amazing, and I am very much looking forward to playing them myself.
