Congratulations, you caught the rattata! Promise learned a lot from watching and grows +2 levels to [Lv 11]! ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day
The winds howled through the treetops, bringing in a battling sea of warm air that fought against the harsher, cold undercurrent. The mousy-brown haired lad wrapped his arms around himself as though he were giving himself a hug and carried on down the trek. His mind raced back to his family and a visual image of his mother – so young and sweet in his formative years – flashed inside of his mind. He’d left home when he was only fourteen, dead set on ensuring that he wouldn’t come back until he had enough to be the hero his family desperately needed. He was sixteen now, and so foolishly thought he would have accomplished all of that – and more – by now.
Where was he? Trapped, stranded, but not lost on Route 29. He could either sell the Pokemon he caught, or train them up into mighty warriors, to help ensure that he managed to forge a way for his family. A short frown crawled across the young lad’s lips and pulled them into a tight and unforgivable form. He stumbled as a large log caught his boot and caused him to trip, though Zaiden would manage to catch himself and right himself in no time. He dad had to sell all of his Pokemon – the sneaky and nosy Raticate, the helpful and attentive Golduck, and their prized Charizard – to try to make ends meet. He was so young. So foolish. So naive. Not to notice each Pokemon disappearing, one by one, until finally even Charizard had been sold off to the highest bidder.
Would it be right of him to sell his own Pokemon? Was it any better than leaving most of them locked within the confines of the Professor’s lab? The dilemma of choices piled up inside of the teenager’s mind as he trucked on through the bitter ice and snow. He eventually made his way back to town – arriving in Cherrygrove for a short period of time. He stopped by the Pokemart to buy more of the mysterious blue orbs that had netted him the prized white-and-orange sea fish, and fed Promise a small piece of candy.
When the small bug gobbled the candy up ravenously out of his hands and began to glow, Zaiden jumped back in shock and awe. The young shoved his hands on either side of his face and his eyes lit up with astonished joy. His Pokemon was evolving! Then, sadness caught the corner of his eyes, and his face drooped a little. The newly formed butterfly whose red-and-black wings were reminiscent of a Pokeball flew over and landed on Zaiden’s free shoulder, the opposite side of Ray. She used one of of her wings to catch his tears with its tip and nuzzled up against him for comfort.
That dying kid was counting on him, too… Zaiden was so unsure. Unsure if he could make his mom and dad proud by saving their only home. Unsure if he would get all of the Vivillon in time, before the poor kid succumbed to his own illnesses. Unsure if he even knew what he was doing as a Pokemon trainer, at times. He couldn’t help the overwhelming sense of dread that swelled up inside of his chest. But, Zaiden knew that he didn’t want to feel this way. Not now, even as he suffered from his own human emotions, not ever.
He would eventually find the strength to carry his team over to the nearby Pokecenter. Zaiden bid each of the bight eyed Pokemon – though some more worrisome and troubled than others – goodbye, as he recalled them inside of the Pokeballs. There, he would place them on the small belt beside the personal computer. A few clicks of a button and Zaiden would send most of them back into his Personal Computer, off to Professor’s lab once more. He would then spin through the collection of Pokemon he recently obtained from a digging expedition and from his own travels, slowly choosing which ones to add to his team.
Zaiden would set back off down Route 29, after preparing himself and getting in some good rest at the Pokecenter. Another bright and beautiful day greeted him, with the sun waning halfway in the sky, shrouded by thick, billowing clouds. The chocolate-eyed lad knew that there were still a few more Pokemon loose in these woods – one of which he’d only heard about on the tongue of passing trainers. Where was this illusive blue bird with its bright red head, that some claimed could master the art of fire itself?
OOC: Switching my team around. Boxing Promise, Yamori, Yuki, and bringing out Yasei, Tsusagi, and Takibi. Self-Updating.

The slippery weather was quite odd to Yungoos as it stepped onto route 29 looking for something to snack on. The rodent was not expecting to encounter Zaiden however as it stood nearly perfectly still from the shock of seeing a human. As it thought about trying to make a break for it the poor ground conditions did not fill it with much confidence leaving Yungoos no choice other than to battle. Yungoos (Level 8) appeared/ Please select a Pokemon. Shiny Roll: WapSlBzO1-421-42

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day
Lóngguī wagged his tail. The small teal colored turtle lowered his body in a readied stance and pulled ihis head slightly inside of his shell. With half of his head hidden between the open space of his thick brown top plate and thick cream bottom plate of his shell, only Lóngguī’s large, reddish-brown eyes and tiny nostril slits popped out from the shell. The warmer undercurrents that caused the ice and snow to melt around them, slowly transforming the land into a slushy-filled mess as it marched silently onwards towards eventual spring-time, was a winter wonderland for the happy water-type Pokemon. “We need to be ready for anything. Stand up tall, young soldier, and show me what you’re made of!”
The skittish medium-brown rabbit with thick, dark brown stripes running down its tail, and long dark-brown ears shivered and slowly backed away. Baunsu folded his ears on either side of his head and began to nervously rake his ears with his small, sharp claws. The Sentret shook his head several times, before darting around the base of a large pine tree, shuffling through the discarded pinecones that littered the forest floor. “N-no thanks! I-I’m not really th-the fighting type! A-appreciate the offer!” He shouted as he curled up into a tight ball, hoping to blend in with his forest surroundings. A bright red flame Pokemon with a thick, puffy crown and a bright yellow bill jumped up and down as she rushed forward. She jumped out in front of the tree, blocking Lóngguī’s path to Baunsu.
The Squirtle pulled his large teal head back out of his shell and stood up straight. He tilted his head sideways for a second as he considered Takibi’s offer. He scoffed with a haughty laugh and shook his head. “Look at me, Takibi. I am your opposite and your superior. I won’t go easy on you. Are you sure that you want to face off with me?” He called out. She nodded her head firmly with a determined smile and released a thick cloud of smog. The small fire salamander with its bright yellow bill would zip around Lóngguī on their makeshift battlefield, dodging thick shots of water that the Squirtle spurted through the clouds of smoke after the fire salamander. “If you’re my superior, then keep up!” She laughed as she jumped through the smog and leered at the other Pokemon.
Lost in the moment, the brownish-blonde haired teenager wouldn’t initially notice the furry brown mongoose with a thick yellow stripe course down from the top of its head to the base of its tail. It wasn’t until Zaiden’s small brown rabbit with thick puffs of creamy-yellow fur hopped over and began to tap the Yungoos on its snout, that the Zaiden would notice the sight of the wild Pokemon. The Yungoos reared back, standing up proudly on its back legs if only temporarily, and lashed out at the baby rabbit. “Let me go! Let me be!” It hissed out and tried to slash out at the tiny bunny. The Buneary bounced backwards on her feet, zigzagging as she hopped, and dodged just out of the way of the Yungoos’ deadly claws. “I’m sorry, mister. We mean you no harm!” It tried to reassure the other Pokemon.
Zaiden fished around through his backpacks until his hands caressed the top of a small blue ball with bright red ridges on either side of it. The strange amulet he’d originally retrieved after beating the fearsome Totem Fearow seemed to shine and glow inside of his backpack, catching his eyes temporarily. Didn’t the sweet old couple he had met tell him that this would attract rather strange Pokemon to him? Zaiden wondered if the Amulet was glowing for a reason – and if that reason was correlated to this strange mongoose Pokemon that stood in front of them, ravenously trying to tear his rabbit apart. It couldn’t be that simple…could it? As Tsusagi cried out in pain, pinned down by the powerful and wild Pokemon, Zaiden would click the button in the center of the Great Ball and toss it after the Yungoos, hoping to save his baby Rabbit by capturing the other Pokemon.
OOC: Sending out Tsusagi and using 1 Great Ball. Self-Deducted.

The Yungoos hissed at the opposing Buneary and went in to attack, before a blue ball plopped on the top of its head. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day
The young teenager easily swept the Great Ball up into his hands. He gently cleared the dust and debris off of the blue-and-red ball, before allowing a mystical energy to envelop the Great Ball and teleport it off into some faraway and distant place. His team was growing – not just from the Pokemon he carried on-hand now, but also from the legion of Pokemon that awaited him back at the Laboratory. Would they have grand adventures, trapped in their faraway home with the Professor? Would they remember him, when Zaiden called them forth from their sleepy, temporary stay with the Professor? Would Kogasu be ready to work with her trainer once more, or would she continuously challenge him at every end?
The young beige teenager’s face scowled heavily in anger and dismay. It was his own fault that she didn’t trust him. He’d gone too long allowing them to run amuck, freezing up when they needed him most, and being indecisive. Zaiden swung his foot over a thick tree stump, almost jump-skipping over it as he did so and carried on down the route. He would use his hands to roughly push away thick limbs and tear away spiky vines that blocked his path. His mind buzzed with emotions that he couldn’t quite keep shoved down into the nethermost region of his mentality. He couldn’t just stuff everything away and forget about it.
Lóngguī raced side-by-side with Takibi as they blasted off powerful moves at each other. Thick fumes of ember shot from the small salamander’s bright yellow bill, just missing Lóngguī as they would hit the side of a tree, a thick blueberry bush, and some scattered and broken twigs on the ground. Thankfully, a bit of smoke would rise up in the air for a split second, but the flames would die away after a little while. The teal turtle smirked and fired jettison of water that shot up and over, missing Takibi but soaking Zaiden in the process. The mousy brown-haired lad came to am abrupt stop and spun around swiftly on the heels of his shoes.
Zaiden pointed from the bright red fire-type to the cool bluish-green water-type and back. He would give heavy, implied shrugs and a swift shake of his hands to suggest that their behavior wasn’t quite appropriate for their journey. “We are training! It is a requirement so that we stay in tip-top form! What are we supposed to do…let ourselves get soft?!” The bright teal turtle slapped its small, soft hands against the cream-colored bottom half of its shell and puffed up in defiance. A bit of bubbly water gurgled around his lips, like foaming saliva, as he seemed to snap back at his trainer. Takibi rushed to his aid, through her hands up and waving them sporadically. “We’re just having fun and enjoying the moment. What is so wrong with that?!”
Zaiden began shivering heavily, as the freezing winds whipped around his body and teased him. He sighed, placed one of his hands to the side of his face, and motioned to keep walking. The sun was waning in the daylight sky – night would soon approach, though they still had much of the day remaining. A strange sound caught their attention and caused the gang to freeze in unison like deer caught in headlights. Zaiden scanned the area with his dark brown eyes, though he couldn’t see anything. The sound grew louder, like a broken chainsaw mixed with a broken cassette that skipped over the chorus line to gurgle random parts of musical melodies.
“The woods…..sounds of music….alive….bringing bodies…they die….are alive….the woods…are alive….bringing….music sounds….alive!” Zaiden froze, one foot still raised in a mid-step. It hovered just above the spot where it was meant to step down. Could he turn back now? Run far away to the safety of the city lights, wherever they were? And what was this strange melody that played on the top of the air? A small girl pushed her way through the thick brush and bramble and grabbed the teenager’s hand, tugging on it heavily. “Oh, great!” She cheered in a melodic voice, almost singing. “You’ve arrived. We have a hero to help us save the day!”
OOC: On the search again!

Zaiden and his pokemon were not the only one who heard the strange sounds, and a brown bird who was known for it recklessness and bravery came flying out from the trees scouting the area. It noticed the humans and the pokemon and hovered in the air eying them suspiciously but didn't seem scared. Spearow [LV 8] seems curious but wary. Shiny: mRmjAraW1-421-42

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day
The young girl pulled on Zaiden hand as she tried to lead him deeper into the forest. His Pokemon tensed up, feeling the anxiety that bubbled inside of their trainer. The mousy-brown haired teenager pulled back and dug his heals into the grassy earth. Nothing about this strange lass or her strange request felt right. He shook his head firmly and began to turn around so that he could make a swift exit and escape the area. Though the chocolate-eyed trainer tried to find the courage to verbally vocalize his rejection, the words would stick to the back of his throat, and he’d find himself unable to utter them.
Thick, fluffy stratus clouds drifted overhead. Their large, outstretching frame cast a shadow down upon the earth below. The long, winding shadows crawled on the forest floor and across the large canopy of trees as their cloudy counterparts swayed through the soft blue sky, whose hue slowly swirled with warm orange and yellow colors. “Please, help us. Please? We’ve been trapped here for forever, and we were told of your arrival.” The tiny lass cried out. She stared up at Zaiden with large hazel eyes whose corners glistened from the approaching tears. Zaiden used his right hand to rub his left arm nervously and glanced away to stare at the ground below him. “…”
The words that he desperately wanted to say still wouldn’t rise to the top. The small girl, whose long, curly brown hair cascaded down to the forest floor in wild and unkept clumps, couldn’t have been older than five or six years old. It didn’t feel right to Zaiden to reject her pleas, even if everything inside of him screamed to turn tail and run as far away as he could manage. After some time, he would turn to stare the young lass deeply in her eyes. Zaiden nodded his head firmly, a small smile playing on the corner of his mouth. He placed a hand on the small girl’s shoulder and gestured for her to lead him on to wherever she needed his help.
A large, brown feathered avian with bright pink wings soared up high in the air and floated on the gently breeze as it stared suspiciously at the two travelers. It cawed loudly and stretched out its sharp talons as if warning the trespassers and heading them to turn and go in a different direction. The small child slipped behind Zaiden and gripped his thick denim jeans with her frail hands. “I…I don’t have a Pokemon…” Zaiden could feel her body trembling behind him. His smile faltered as a heavy frown caressed his cheeks.
This wild bird was looking for a battle. Did the Spearow sing out that strange and eerie melody? Zaiden had never known a Spearow to develop the capability to learn human languages. He wanted desperately to believe that this was the end of this mysterious journey of his, but he doubted it altogether. Takibi came sliding across the ground on the tops of her feet, nearly jumping out to greet the little girl completely oblivious to the flying avian in the sky. “Hey there little girl! What are you doing out here?! I’m Takibi!” She spoke up loudly, cooing out a bunch of syllables that would just sound like “magby magby” to the young girl.
“Can’t you use…your Pokemon…to battle it?” She pleaded. Zaiden reluctantly nodded in affirmation and turned to the bright red salamander whose large, bushy red head ‘fluff’ bounced and swayed from it’s erratic and excited movements. He snapped his fingers, causing the yellow beaked Pokemon to turn and focus her attention on him He then used his hands to signal for a spout of embers and pointed towards Takibi’s opponent. Takibi spun on the tips of her clawed feet and stared up at the brave bird.
“You go now, or I make you go. This is my territory. I cannot stand that sound your humans make!” The Spearow cawed as it flapped its wings and hovered in the air. Takibi tilted her head, confused. Did this brave bird seriously think that her Zaiden and the small girl was behind the eerie and strange melody that was playing through the forested region? How? They had no devices that would play this tune, and neither of the two humans were particularly singing, either. “Are you blind? No one here was playing this music. BUT! I’d LOVE to battle you!” Takibi cried out excitedly.
The slimy-skinned salamander’s bright red face puffed up as though she had stuffed thousands of acorns inside of her cheeks. Red hot embers would slowly build up behind the small Pokemon’s yellow beak. When she parted her lips and opened her mouth, Takibi would fire the smoldering embers at the airborne avian, hoping to singe and burn the other Pokemon. “I’m not that bad of a shot, am I?” She would confidently state, impressed with her own work.
OOC: Takibi uses Ember.

The embers singed the tips of the Spearow's wings, and it squawked indignantly at Takibi. Flying around the heads of Zaiden and the young girl, it cawed out, trying to be menacing. "Fine, you've made your choice. I will make you leave!" The Spearow growled at the Magby, fluffing up its feathers and making itself look as big and scary as possible, hoping to scare off the Pokemon and its trainers. ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day
The young man stood stiff as the small brown-haired child clung to the back of his pants. The trainer’s rich brown eyes searched the air above him and swept back and forth through the outreaching branches of the surrounding trees. He kept a firm view of the bird trapped within his gaze as he watched the pink-winged avian duck and dart about in a seemingly angry and enraged tantrum. Zaiden knew from his experience with his feathery friend that they were normally proud birds that faced any challenge head on.
“That bird looks strong…” The young girl muttered to herself as she dug her fingernails into Zaiden’s rough denim jeans. She cowered, pressing herself up against the teenager boy’s tall frame to shield herself from the wild bird. When it tried to swoop down after her with its talons outstretched in a menacing fashion, Zaiden would raise one of his arms up threateningly to sweep at the Spearow and shoo it away. “Thank you for protecting me! I knew you were our hero! We have to get back to my village…” She pleaded, her heartbeat racing inside of her chest.
Zaiden furrowed his eyebrows and rubbed his arm with his other hand while the flying avian spun back around. It’s sharp talons had managed to cut him on the top of his arm, just a few inches above his wrist. It stung, causing Zaiden to wince from the pain. Thick dark red liquid bubbled up from the open wound and began to run down either side of his arm in slow streams. Zaiden tugged his backpack off of his shoulders and began flipping through its contents in search of his aid kit.
The small red lava Pokemon stood still for a few seconds, glancing between his trainer and the flying bird that soared overhead. “You think a few scary words is gunna chase me off? I laugh in the face of danger, hah hah hah!” She mocked the bird, spinning around to wave her butt in its direction and smacking it with her small clawed hands. As the bird soared through the air, the small salamander would chase after it from the grounds’ floor. She ran through the tall grasses and awkwardly climbed up onto a large, overturned tree, trying to keep up with the Spearow.
“You’ve chosen the wrong battle, little one! And now you must pay!” It squawked loudly before diving up high in the air. The pink-winged bird would spin around and dart off in another direction. Takibi waddled staggeringly on top of the large tree and began huffing and puffing thick, dark-grey smoke that permeated the air around her. “You talk a lotta smack for a bird who is too afraid to come face me!” Takibi teetered on top of the log and slipped, falling back down to the ground below beneath the tall grasses covered in their snowy whit tops. “Oaf! I’m not done with you yet, feathery fiend!” She giggled, jumping back up and rubbing her sides and shoulders she had landed on.
“Your Pokemon is pretty tough…” The small child admitted as her soft hazel eyes lit up with admiration. A small smile played at the edges of her lips and hope blossomed inside of her chest. Surely, if he had such a capable little fire-breather on his team, then she couldn’t have been mistaken about him being her hero. The way he protected her from the wilds birds, as well, made her heart swell. “I hope it’s not too late…” Her words trembled and she glanced off into the distance with her thought.
Zaiden, finding it hard to summon words, stayed silent as he listened to the small girl. He wanted to reassure her and promise her that everything would be ok. But he couldn’t even reassure himself of this. What exactly was she so afraid of, that she needed his help to begin with? He couldn’t even save his parents, though he was struggling to do just this and wandered how they were doing now. Now his parents were taking out a loan that he doubted they would ever be able to pay back…? He definitely was no one’s hero, that was for sure.
The lump stuck to the back of his throat and made him feel parched. His arms began to tremble as he thought about grabbing a bottle of water out of his bag but wondered if this was the right time to do that. Instead, he stood still and stoic, watching Takibi race awkwardly through the terrain and chase after the ‘scary bird’ that flew up high overhead. “You sure don’t talk much, do you mister? My momma says closed mouths don’t get fed! So…why so quiet?” The bubbly young child carried on in an attempt to spark the quiet lad into vocalization.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day
The quiet teenager scrunched his face up as his eyes darted from the small child to his small fire-breathing Pokémon. Takibi seemed to hold her own in the fight, but Zaiden wondered if she was biting off more than she could chew by facing this tiny bird. The puffy-headed salamander was taller, nearly doubling the bird’s height when they were in close range, and yet the bird’s powers seemed to nearly double that of Takibi’s. Zaiden frowned. He reached a hand up reflexively and scratched underneath his skin.
The small child, either sensing his fears or sizing the battle up herself, leaned against Zaiden’s leg. She craned her head up at an odd angle so that she could stare at his face. When Zaiden turned to greet her gaze, the hazel-eyed child stared intensely into Zaiden’s reflective brown eyes. “Your Pokemon…it can handle this, right?” She asked, searching inside of Zaiden’s gaze for a magical answer that would make magical promises where everything was alright one hundred percent of the time. Instead, Zaiden shrugged and turned away. He tucked his lower lip down underneath his teeth and gently bit it.
The small brown-haired lass shivered, pressing even closer to the back of Zaiden’s legs. “Heroes never lose…” She whispered underneath her breath. She seemed to need to convince herself of this fact more than anything else. Zaiden felt the small child shake against the back of his legs. He inhaled deeply, trying to keep his mind at ease as he focused on the battle at hand. The tiny brown feathered bird with bright pink wings soared up high and spiraled in a wondrous display above their heads. Once it sized its target, the Spearow would begin to descend from the heavens above to swoop down upon the small red salamander with its talons outstretched.
“You will pay for your insolence!” The Spearow shrieked at the top of its lungs. The lively young Magby puffed up her body as she inhaled deeply. She seemed to inflate her stomach and her face with the air. The small Magby placed her hands on her side and leaned back with a smirk. In the salamander’s mind, she was slowly managing to get underneath this large bird’s feathers. Whether that was an accomplishment or merely a byproduct, though, it didn’t seem to matter. As her trainer whistled to catch her attention, the Magby spun her head around to stare at Zaiden.
Zaiden stretch out one of his hands and began to wiggle the fingertips to mimic the flames of a fire. Zaiden then spun them around in a large circle, as if he were encasing the fire in a ball inside of his fist. The mousy-brown haired trainer would then punch the balled up fist outwards, as if to expel the flames away from his body. Takibi’s small dark eyes lit up with excitement and she began to jump and dance in place. That was the perfect move to follow up her smoke attack – another ember! She nodded her head and spun back around to face off with the tiny bird.
“I’m not done with you yet!” She laughed. Takibi would crouch down on the ground with one hand touching the grassy earth in a strange pose. She craned her head upwards towards the heavens above and watched the wispy cirrus clouds drift lazily through the sky. They were cut in thin ribbons and drifted through the multihued sky with a slow, sluggish pace. The Magby’s eyes stayed glued on the overhead canary that soared above her. “I do have a question for you, though! Can you keep up?!”
Without a second notice, the Magby would leap up and tear off through the tall, snow-covered grasses. She leaped over large branches and crawled underneath overturned trees as she took off through the thick undergrowth of the surrounding forest. The winged avian cawed loudly with outstretched wings and soared through the treetops, tilting its head this way and that in search of the small, fire-breathing Pokemon. “I have no time for games, insolent child!” It huffed and puffed, diving at a spot where it thought she was hiding, only to pull up a tuft of thick brownish-green grasses. The soggy white snow that decorated its tips immediately dripped back onto the earthen ground. The Spearow dropped the bundle of foliage and shrieked on the top of its lungs. “I will find you! And you will pay!” It warned her. Takibi would crawl out on top of a large boulder to spin around daringly in the Spearow’s face. “I’m right here! Can’t keep up, huh?” She yelled, trying to mimic the bird’s loud squawking. The small red salamander would then fire thick balls of fire directly towards the Spearow’s face, hoping to seize the perfect moment before the bird would have a chance to fly away.
OOC: Takibi uses Ember.

ZAIDEN KABILA Aspiring Champion Bike Mode: ON | Time: Day
Fear surged through the beige lad’s veins. It bred with the growing anxiety that simmered inside of the young man’s mind and whispered disquieting realities that Zaiden did not want to face. His soft brown eyes widened with worry as they stayed glued firmly on his small firebreather locked in a headlong battle with the brave feathered avian. Takibi froze, her smile faltering for a split second, before she would gasp out with a loud shriek and keel over on herself, folding like a loaf of bread that someone had inconveniently smashed their hands into its center.
Takibi coughed out and choked on her own words as the bird rammed her with its talons outstretched to rip and shred into her soft, lava-filled hide. “Quiet, you arrogant child! I shall teach you!” The bird cawed loudly, hovering around the small fire-type salamander. Its long, sharp claws slashed into the red salamander’s side, her shoulders, her back, and her stomach. They seemed to come from every angle. As she tried to jump away, the bird would circle above her, diving after her every move. Takibi gripped her stomach, shrieked loudly, then slumped over. She collapsed in a split second and slumped off the top of the overturned tree trunk she had been standing on, falling in a heap on the snowy-white forest floor beneath her.
“Heroes don’t lose…” The small child muttered to herself as fear seemed to grip her from the inside. Her small hazel eyes darted back and forth, from the worried unkempt-haired trainer to the collapsed bag of bones, organs, and flesh underneath the enraged avian. The Spearow spiraled as it soared up high, stretched its wings out bravely, and turned to stare down angrily at the teenage trainer and small child. “You humans go! Leave my area at once! DON’T DEFY ME!” The brown-feathered bird with bright pink wings would dive after them, swooping repeatedly to rip and shred the human’s skin with its sharp talons and thick, light pink beak.
Zaiden hunched over the girl protectively, shielding her with his back. The avian swooped down, ripping and shredding up the teenager’s shirt with its clawed feet as it batted its wings angrily against his broad shoulders and neckline. The young girl’s eyes seemed as though they would spring a leak as they stared up at Zaiden with growing concern. “You can’t lose! How did you lose?! Why would you lose?! Heros don’t lose!” She repeated to herself, sticking one thumb in her mouth and sucking at it to soothe herself.
Zaiden fished around in his bag momentarily, pulling out a small red-and-white spherical device. In his haste to quickly choose another Pokemon, Zaiden had neglected to check who he was calling forth to face the monstrosity that assaulted him from the heavens above. He simply clicked the small white button that was built into the center of the device and tossed it out. A hyperactive brown goat with a large splash of white covering his face and legs, bright orange hooves, and a bright green bundle of foliage-like fur wrapped tightly around his neck and across his back appeared. “Oh, I’m free?! I’m free to be me!” It laughed loudly, before zipping off on the top of its nimble hooves through the thick undergrowth of the surrounding forest.
Yasei tore through the land, leaping over large branches and battling his way through overgrown shrubs. He laughed cheerily, happy to finally run through the open land and feel the wind through his thick fur. “Run! Run with me, gang! We should all be so free!” The happy-go-lucky sheep called out, without stopping to see if anyone had managed to keep up. The Spearow’s eyes widened, then narrowed, as it pulled itself away from Zaiden and the small child. “Not another one! Out of my domain!” It cawed loudly, soaring up high in the air, then quickly plummeting back down towards earth once it had managed to locate its target.
Yasei skidded to a stop, nearly toppling himself into a thick and prickly thornbush. He maa’d loudly as he spun around on his brightly colors hooves and splayed his legs in different directions to strike a dramatic and battle-ready pose. “You say leave, but I just got here!” Yosei tilted his horned head back until the two pointed black horns nearly brushed against the nape of his neck. “I don’t suppose you want to run with me? No? Then I guess I’ll have to make it worth your wild. Let’s play my favorite game! Who’s the fastest Pokemon! Ready? Go!”
Yasei would turn and rush after the brightly-winged Spearow from the ground below. He would jump up and use large, rocky outcroppings to kick off of as he tried to leap high into the air after the bird. Yasei would try to ram his horned head into the Spearow’s soft underbelly to Tackle the avian Pokemon, if he was able to, all the while keeping the same bright and bubbly grin plastered across his face.
OOC: Yasei comes out and uses Tackle.
