The Mountainside Complex An abandoned trail leading off from where Route 38 and Route 39 meet. Moulding wooden signs stating "No Trespassing" and "Danger Up Ahead!". Overgrown bushes make way for overgrown grass knee high and a wired fence. New signs, some are messages, others are just one singular R painted in black and red. "Trespassers Will Be Punished!". "Enter at Own Risk". "Anything that happens to you is technically legal as this is our land and we don't want you here!!". Behind the fence and built into the large rocky mountains behind it, surrounded by tall trees and overgrown with ivy and moss, a broken shell of an old building complex. From a distance the entire building looks run down and dilapidated, but as one gets closer, discrepancies arise. All but the highest windows of the building are either boarded up or broken. Sometimes, if you stare long enough, you might see movement from behind the murky, dirtied glass. Wandering around near the mountain side the complex is built into, reveals small tunnels and holes leading into the mountains. Are those voices down there? Or is that the sound of running water? If you're quiet while roaming the empty, abandoned halls, you might hear the clanging of large metal doors, but where is it coming from? Many mysteries surround this hidden, haunted, hideaway. Residents Charlie MillerThe owner of the estate, they bought it with 'hard earned' money and now uses it more as a base of operations than a real home, despite there being places to sleep. A rather rough and tumble trainer, they took this as an opportunity to hide away their more criminal activity away from prying eyes. Despite their snarky nature, they're loyal to the people that stick with them and will fight off anyone who thinks they can come wandering into their territory. "Fist"Charlie's first acquaintance when joining Team Rocket. While they didn't spend all their time together, there was a silent sense of camaraderie and rivalry. When Charlie set up their base, a place to sneak away to, to hide out if someone ever got into trouble, Fist was the first on the list of VIP's. He's in and out often, and works as Charlie's second in command to keep the place well organised and make sure no one enters without permission.

Public Areas The path to explore this Estate is a treacherous one. The occupants do not want you snooping around, and as such caution must be advised. There can be many rewards further into the Estate if you are brave enough to try. If you are creating a thread to go through the Estate, put [Exploration] at the end of your thread title. If you are creating a thread to go through the Estate and are a Rocket member, put [Rocket Exploration] at the end of your thread title. Please make sure that you read and understand the special rules before posting in this estate! If you have any questions, PM me! Special Rules:1. You must declare your full team within your first post. You will not be able to swap out Pokemon while progressing through the Estate. If you'd like to swap out Pokemon, you will need to leave the Estate and start your progression from the beginning. 2. Pokémon do not automatically heal between battles, instead they heal after you've progressed through each Main Area, not Sub-Area. 3. Captured Pokemon are healed to full health when caught. 4. You must complete each Area's or Sub-Area's progression requirements before moving on to the next. If you have completed the requirements to move through an area without any encounters and start a new thread, you must detail progressing through that area until you reach an area you do not have the requirements for/you would like encounters for, otherwise encounters will be rolled from the beginning area and you will need to progress as normal.* (There will be a Progression Tracker for everyone who visits the Estate to track how far you have progressed and the requirements you have achieved.) 5. If you battle a trainer or boss encounter, your party will be fully healed after the battle concludes. 6. If you trigger the Boss Trainer Battle in the Haunted Hallways, your estate decisions will be locked in place and a 'Side Quest' of sorts gets activated. Leaving the Estate will not reset progress within this Questline. Once the Questline is concluded, you will not be able to trigger the Boss Trainer Battle in the Haunted Hallways until a month has passed since you last completed the previous attempt. 7. Boss Pokemon/Trainer Battles will always steal money from the trainer if you lose. The amount stolen is Average Team Level X Base Payout as per the table below. | No of Badges | | 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | | 5 | 6 | | 8 | Base Amount | 8 | 16 | 24 | | 48 | 64 | | 100 | 120 |
Example: Average Team Level of 30 with Two Badges = $720 money lost. *You do not need to go into a lot of detail, just a sentence or two to say you have walked through the area. Providing the area names will be useful in letting me know where you are going to. For example, if you have the requirements to immediately skip to the Open Fields without encounters, writing a line or two to say you walked through the Winding Paths and the Overgrowing Underbrush without issue and that you are now standing in the Open Fields will let me know where you would like to start your exploration from.Progression Guide Please use the table below for information on entry requirements for each Area, progression requirements for each Area, and skip requirements for each Area.
