The definition of insanity was to try the same thing repeatedly and expect different results.
Though with the variable nature of people and pokemon, perhaps it wasn't such a strange notion to try to worm one's way into the good graces of another through gentleness and patience. Maybe this especially dull Psyduck would come to the realization that Diego was a friend seeking to take it home, or maybe it would decide that it was born to be wild and attack more ferociously. Either way, that possibillity was shattered when the spearow, indignant about this whole situation, and wanting this dumb child removed from its territory NOW, swooped down and grabbed the psyduck with its claws.
To say it was CARRYING the psyduck away might be a generous description, but oh boy was it sure dragging that psyduck somewhere. Quackers let out a long cry and floundered feebly, confused by this change of pace.
Spearow just felt like an overworked babysitter. Honestly, couldn't trust anyone to do a job right, especially a human it seems.
