All you have to do in this game is describe a cheat and the person that posts after you has to guess whether it is fake or real and then describes their own cheat. Once someone has posted after you, you can then modify your original post and say whether the cheat actually works or not. Please also specify the game.
I'll start off: Game: Blue Version Cheat: Beat the Elite Four 99 times and on the 100th time you'll be able to catch Lance's last pokemon: Dragonite. This Dragonite will be a shiny one if you trade it to Gold, Silver, etc. FAKE is right

Fake
Game: Red
Go into the Safari Zone and use Dig and get out with Dig and go and Surf along the edge of Seaform Islands and you can catch the Safari Pokemon there.
FAKE is wrong

False.. game yellow: Go through the underground passagebetween Celadon and Lavender. and as soon as you exit, walk one step down and immediately press start. Go straight to the Pokemon status screen and fly anywhere--you'll notice that once you start flying, the Gambler will get the little exclamation point over his head that means he noticed you. Now go somewhere and fight a trainer then enter some grass and bam a random pokemon that shouldn't be there IE- Mew, dragonite etc

Game Red or Blue: Before Mt. Moon, catch a Jigglypuff. In Cerulean City, go north, and defeat all trainers before Bill's house, except the one with the Slowpoke's and the one in de grass left of Nugget Bridge (you know, leading to Mewtwo's cave). Walk past him, and use Jigglypuff's Sing to catch an Abra. Walk to the spot where the trainer in the grass in just 1 spot out of your screen, right below you. Walk down, and immetiately press start. He's in screen now, and should've noticed you, but he didn't because your start menu is open. Use Abra's teleport and go to Cerulean. Your start button is now disabled. Go north and battle the trainer with the Slowpokes. Your start button works again. Walk down Nugget Bridge. Half way, a level 7 Mew appears, and you can catch it. Yes! It is real! I currently own Mew on both Red en Blue (for a better, more clear description, visit youtube)

Real?
Just so it doesn't get confusing, please modify your post after someone's posted after you and write in red whether it's real or fake. See my first post for the example.
Game: Pokemon Gold/Silver
Cheat: To duplicate a Pokemon, first save in front of the PC. Then turn on the PC and deposit the Pokemon you want to duplicate. Switch Boxes and when it says "SAVING... DONT TURN OFF THE POWER" turn off the gameboy. Turn the power back on and you will have a copy of the Pokemon in your Party and one in your PC.
This one's real. I've had some crazy things happen by doing this cheat too. I've had Pokemon with moves they can't even learn like an Unown with Vital Throw. I also once created a level 0 Magnemite on a friends game. That was the weirdest of all.

me too.. my brother used it on Crystal version once, and he was playing as a male, but when he did that cheat, he turned into the female character!
But Kitsunaii, you should post another cheat, so the next person can guess if it't true or false ^^

That's ok. We can start again with my post.
Game: Pokemon Stadium 2
Cheat: Win a seven-coin Mini-Game competition on Hard. If you win against 3 computer opponents, another difficulty level will be unlocked: Super Hard.

Pokemon Stadium: Get all 150 Pokemon recorded in the stadium and unlock Mew as a gift to be sent over to your Red or Blue version game.
Nope, it is fake.

True
In the ruby game if you run around in the grass just outside your hometown for exactly 25500 steps without being defeated, you will get a shiny latios. This is false

False
Do not fight the gambler facing the house in between Lavender Town and Saffron City. Go to the door of the house and save your game. (You cannot save your game once you have started this or else it will undo the glitch that will give you Mew.) Step towards the gambler and immediatly press start. If done correctly you will bring up the start menu before the gambler sees you. Go to your flying pokemon and fly to Cerulean City. The gambler will then see you but you will fly away. (Your Start, A, and B buttons will not work during this point.) Walk up Nugget Bridge and then go to the 5th trainer after Nugget Bridge. (He will be facing up.) He is a youngster with a slowpoke. Defeat his slowpoke, and then your Start, A, and B buttons will function again. Fly back to Lavender Town and walk towards Saffron City. Your menu should pop up by itself. Hit B to exit it, and then you will enter a battle with a Mew, where you can try to capture it.
