Sandy had finally agreed to take a rest, much to the group’s relief. It wasn’t fair for her to have to handle everything. Right now, it was their turn to take care of her. If they all helped out, Sandy would surely be back on her feet soon. Andrew was impressed with the ideas of his roommates. Ein’s idea to use his Glaceon was smart while Accalia knew just how to handle the fever.
Andrew felt a little useless in this situation. The other two seemed to have most of the jobs covered. “If you need anything at all, just let me know. I mean it. You’ve been looking out for me since I’ve arrived so I really want to help as best I can.” Andrew said to the girl. He was going to stay concise so the girl could get her rest. He hoped that she’d be up and about once the storm had passed.
Andrew took a final look out the window. He was worried that it might last a while. This was the worst storm he’d ever experienced since his arrival. Johto was usually such a peaceful region and something didn’t feel right about this storm. If it didn’t pass soon, he’d be forced to investigate. Being cramped in a room with trainers he didn’t know was admittedly a little exciting, though it was also quite an annoyance. Thankfully, everyone seemed to fairly nice so far.
Noticing he was the only person not caught up in the work, Andrew decided he’d better start helping. Ein seemed to have his hands full so Andrew figured he might as well see if there was anything for him to do. “Hey Ein, is there anything that you’d like me to help with? And honestly, I’ve just eaten so there’s no need to cook for me.” Andrew wasn’t actually particularly hungry. He was more fascinated by the weather.
Glint had smug grin on his face as Berry approached him. His irresistible charm must have drawn the female turtle to him. The Squirtle’s feelings were blatantly obvious and even a little annoying. He seemed even more egotistical than usual, though this was probably due to him being the only male Squirtle in the room. He was in paradise here. With this rain and two female Pokémon in his evolution line, things could hardly get any better.

Sandy felt a calming sensation of frost, and opened her eyes slighty. A blue fox Pokemon was sitting on the bed, settling itself next to her. Its coat of fur was beautiful, and the sparkles of frost that came off it when the Pokemon shook was delightful against her warm body, which was heated by her fever. She wanted to give the Pokemon a pat or something though, but she had to guess it was a Pokemon from Sinnoh, because she didn’t know what it was, and she didn’t want to touch the Pokemon without having an idea of how it would react to her. Instead, she placed the cloth Accalia had given her onto her head. She smiled slightly at Andrew as he offered his help if she needed it. She would assure him she was alright, but she was so tired, she dozed off.
Berry looked at Glint, quite interested in if he was going to say anything. If not, then that trip had been a total waste of time.
“Squirtle!” she greeted, hoping to get a response from the other turtle. Scatter had other plans for her though. He quietly stalked over to the other Pokemon.
“Nya!” Berry almost jumped out of her shell, her water gun quickly meeting Scatter’s face.
“Nyaaa….” Berry crossed her arms, stupid cat. Scatter ran from her, looking for Sandy. He hadn’t realized that she was sleeping, and running to her is normally what he did when he lost a little spat with Berry.
“Nyaaa!” He cried out. He was wet and cold, and he hated that, he just hated water! He pulled his ears back in defeat when he realized that Sandy was asleep on one of the beds. Berry rolled her eyes before turning back to Glint. .................
“Sandy?” the young girl’s pale blue eyes followed the trail of a couple of Feebas made their way across the water. She turned, and a man with a thick mop of blackish-brown hair greeted her sights. Next to him stood a serious looking Delcatty.
“Yes Daddy?” She asked, running over and hugging the Delcatty around the neck.
“Jauni and I are done battling now, so we can go home now.” Sandy’s eyes lit up, looking over the Delcatty for any scratches or bruises.
“How did you do Jauni?” She questioned. The Delcatty let out a triumphant cry.
“Mya!” Sandy’s father smiled, placing his hand onto Jauni’s head.
“We won today.” He responded. Sandy was elated. It was the first time her father won in a while. A woman with light blonde hair came up behind Sandy’s father with a boy who was still toddling around on the floor. “Mommy!” Sandy shouted, running to her and hugging her frame. Sandy’s mother smiled.
“Let’s go home.” She said, letting the man get his arm around her and gathering the toddler in her arms. Jauni knelt and let Sandy onto his back, then Sprinted after the rest of the family. ……………………. “I told you that he’d do this to you!” Her father shouted, a vase crashing to the floor as he knocked it from its place. Sandy opened her mouth to protest.
“He wanted you to run away with him?! Are you insane?! “ He questioned, his fury evident in the tone of his voice.
“Dad! I wasn’t going to-“
“You thought I wasn’t going to find out?! There’s a lot of strain on my relationship right now Sandy Jay, and you’re making it all so much worse!” he yelled. Sandy looked down. He just didn’t understand… he had asked her to run away with him…but she declined. Sure, he called her stupid, a moron, whatever insults he could find, and then left her, but she wanted to stay with her family. This is what she got for trying to tell her father she wasn’t seeing the boy anymore… ………………… Sandy tossed a little on the mattress. Comet opened her eyes a little, feeling the shift of the bed. Sandy wasn’t quite enjoying whatever dream she was having, but nothing the bug could really do about it.

Ein sighed as he cut up the Ingredients, next to him was a decent sized pot filled with water, the young man always carried around supplies for cooking, since he needed to eat to live. He had been cooking since he was old enough to, though hardly by choice, in the end no matter why or how he knew his way around cooking and he could add to the group by this small menial task. He didn't have much in the way of skills in his own opinion, but at least he could try and cook to keep people well fed. Plus it was really healthy which would be good for Sandy and also for the others to make sure they staved off any sickness. Ein looked to Mesarthim whom after juggling (and dropping several times) Ein's three water stones she had sniffed her way over to Ein and was helping him by removing the skin for the vegtables he was preparingand throwing them to the trash can..a week ago she would be cutting things up next to Ein but after a..unfortunate accident she was no longer allowed to try and help with sharp objects, or pointy ones. The Wartortle was a little bored he could tell. The guy named...Andrew came over, Ein looked to the young man and his eyes gauged him briefly. "Uhm... Theres alot to be cut up for three people, so.. I guess if you want to, you can get a knife and begin to cut up some of this stuff Ein quickly demonstrated the manner it needed to be chopped into bits and sighed to himself, well at least he wasn't blushing andtripping over his own feet before Andrew.. quickly Ein placed a knife onto the surface he was working on and pulled up a handful of vegtables, that would be enough for three with some left over if Andrew changed his mind. Mesarthim... you can go off and play if you want.. (Andrew there are two sets of bunk beds according to Kataya's third or fourth post ^^) Mesarthim looked at Ein clearly annoyed before using her bubble attack on both of the male humans! Stupid humans she grumbled storming away to see what that other human was doing, the one Ein was afraid of, Accalamaca? or something weird like that..humans had weird names anyway..Mesarthim was rather sour for no apperent reason, she was quite glad to be done helping Ein, but he had asked her to stop(at least in her mind)! whatever..she grumbled and debated on treating herself to one of Ein's candy as she wandered over to see what the other female her trainer was so scared of was doing and to see if she was interesting. Sighing and looking at Andrew with a tired smile "I can't win with her sometimes he laugh a little.. as annoying as she was he loved her and they were friends, they had been through alot in such a short amount of time.. and he was glad to have her by his side.

[[Oops, I missed out on the word "bunk". My bad. I'll go back and edit my other posts when I get the chance and delete this one.]] (Mmkay Andrew, no problem~ And everyone excuse this posts shortness D: Not much you can do when someone is just laying down O:) ______________________________________________________ Sandy yawned sort of loudly, which actually sounded like a squeak. Berry snickered from her place by Glint. Those squeaks that came from her were always funny when she yawned. Scatter jumped onto the counter, taking one of the peeled foods and climbing up onto Ein’s head. “Nyaa…” He muttered, the peeled food in his mouth muffling his cry. Berry had to snicker at this too. Even though she hated the feline, the attempted imitation of Sandy was quite funny. Sandy chose to ignore her Pokémon, turning to stare at the bottom of the top bunk. She tried to hold in her urge to yawn, but another squeak came from her mouth and the two Pokémon of hers had another good chuckle. She blushed a deep red, but didn’t say anything. That yawn of hers was so embarrassing! Sighing, she nuzzled against the pillow, looking at the fox Pokémon beside her occasionally. She couldn’t get back to sleep despite how hard she tried. She couldn’t tell if her fever had gone down or not, and she didn’t want to check. Her eyes fluttered open and closed, and finally she turned. Andrew and Ein were in the kitchen area, and Accalia was there too, so a bit had changed in the maybe ten or so minutes she had been asleep. She really hated being sick.

Glint beamed as the female Squirtle waddled his way. While she became distracted by the Skitty, Glint took the opportunity to check her out. As he looked back up, he quickly grew jealous as he realised she was paying more attention to the feline but it didn’t last long as she quickly discarded Scatter and returned her focus to him. Glint smiled and nodded to Berry, having no idea what the Squirtle had just said. “Squirt!” he replied, quickly trying to cover up his obvious error.
Andrew dived straight into the work as Ein gave him something to do. It was taking him quite a while to get things done which showed he wasn’t used to it. Andrew had never particularly liked vegetables and tended to avoid those sorts of tasks while at home. With the conditions they were facing though, there wasn’t any time to laze about. He’d just have to get on with things until the weather cleared up.
Andrew laughed at Mesarthim’s behaviour. She and her trainer obviously shared a strong bond. “Whaaa!” he screamed as the Wartortle attacked, bursting into laughter afterwards. “I know how you feel. Some of my Pokémon behave in the exact same way,” Andrew replied, hoarsely. He had a sore throat from the being out in the storm for too long but he’d still be able to keep working. It’d probably have cleared up by morning.
Continuing with the vegetables, Andrew wondered how Ruffle and Rayna were doing. The two Pokémon were still under the care of Nurse Joy. The woman seemed to be overwhelmed with requests so Andrew was unsure if his Pokémon would ever get the required attention. He wondered what could be wrong with them. The others all seemed to have Pokémon with similar problems. This storm sure had some suspicious effects on its surroundings.
The constant roar of the wind and the loud rain crashing against the window was really beginning to get irritating. Andrew really was grateful to be indoors. This weather hadn’t been predicted which puzzled Andrew. He wondered how the other areas in Johto were holding up. You couldn’t help but feel sorry for anyone caught in the storm outside. He wondered if people were trapped in caves or anything to that extent. It was impossible to go anywhere else and survive the horrible conditions after all.

Andrew was still lost in thought as he chopped the food. He was almost done with it though his focus was elsewhere. It was brought to his attention as Ein began to speak to him. The black haired boy seemed a little hesitant to say anything at all but at least he was making an effort. Andrew was never that outgoing either. There were a lot of long silences since Sandy hadn’t fallen ill. The blonde-haired girl had always seemed to keep everything flowing. Andrew suddenly realised that he still had not given the other boy an answer.
“Oh well, I’m from Kanto. I lived around Viridian City for most of my life, though my family own a studio in Olivine. I’ve always loved Johto so I decided to begin my journey here instead.” Andrew replied, letting him know the basics. He didn’t want to bore him with any further details. His life at home had been nothing exciting which was exactly why he’d left. “So, are you from around here?”
As Andrew awaited the boy’s reply, he noticed that a lot of time had passed. His mind kept wandering, probably because he was worried about his Pokémon. He was suddenly startled as thunder roared outside the Pokémon Center. Andrew usually wasn’t one to make a big deal of things, but he really wasn’t comfortable being secluded in a room full of strangers. He knew he had no choice though. He could hardly leave in this weather and he wasn’t going anywhere until he was sure that Ruffle and Rayna were alright.

(Nine days ; sorry guys I've been running my self in circles, has anyone heard from our other group people? and yet I still can't manage a decent post I feel bad D: I'm sorry, sometimes I wish Icould make life go away and life on Zapdos zulu ) Ein listened softly and he frowned for a moment folding his arms. He had to think breifly about where he was from (I had to go back to my bio and look it up lol ) In truth he scarcely thought about that place and though he knew his feet would return one day on his quest to become a pokemon trainier he didn't like to think about being there. mmm, I was born in Golden Rod, but I left a long time ago, I don't really have much of a home otherwise Ein sighed a little. This silence was a little unsettling he had a feeling Andrew was not a person whom talked alot either, leaving the air a little tense, Andrew was probably worried about his pokemon. Ein could relate Zoro had only exploded once today and that was never good! which was rather ironic that a pokemon not exploding constantly would be a bad thing. Yet Ein could not dismiss the feelings of worry he held for his pokemon. Wishing he had more to say Ein just looked down at the food and sighed a little...

Sandy hadn’t gotten much sleep, and even so, she decided that she was okay, and sat up slowly. Berry looked away from Glint for a moment to make sure that Sandy got up alright. Giving a yawn, the girl made her way past the kitchen area.
“Hey Andrew, hey Ein…” She greeted as she passed the two. Actually, the dream she had made her feel like she was going to cry, but she attempted to ignore it and made her way into the bathroom. She actually hated crying, because crying made you weak… or so said by her aunt. Yet she felt it oncoming anyway, and quickly turned on the water to cover up the small sounds that escaped her as she cried. That memory was horrible for her, as it led to other memories that she didn’t want to bring back.
Meanwhile, outside, a little blue mouse tumbled out from under the bed. Her ears were perky and she was quite alert, seeming like she was looking for Sandy.
“Azurill Azu?” Scatter looked back at the Azurill, who continued looking at the strange new people in the room. She then bounded to the bathroom door.
“Azu!” Sandy wiped at her eyes.
“I’ll be right out Cocoa!” Sandy assured in a shaky voice. She didn’t want her little mouse to worry about her, or anyone else for that matter. ______________________________________________________ (OOC: Awww! Sandy's a crybaby sometimes. -_- anyway, it’s okay Phoe, life will be life I guess D: And it says Cameron signed in yesterday, though I didn’t see him, and I haven’t seen Rio in quite a while ._.)
