Yaana, though scared of what she would find, followed quietly behind Joey. Inceptor and Melody traveled close by her, making sure nothing would jump them. The group was forced to stop when the Eevee Gang had, and Danny spoke. “So boss, what are we gonna do now that the other guy stepped in? The plans been ruined now.” Conner turned, giving his partner in crime a shrug. “Well what the hell can we do? The guy made a better offer. It’s just too bad he doesn’t know where to find the kid.” One of the other members gave a nod. “Yeah, and you know eventually Tess and Persky are gonna get so hungry they’ll probably eat the damn kid.” Conner shrugged. “So let them do it. Either they’ll get bored and come back, or those two will have a little snack first. Either or it isn’t our problem.” The distressed mother was behind Joey, resisting her urge to start sobbing and or scream. They were responsible for Kaito’s disappearance and now they were planning on letting her son rot? And who were Tess and Gunner? They heard the gang member’s laughing as they entered a small shack, which was guarded by a rather large Typloshion. It seemed to be sleepy, but for now it was awake, and it looked a bit too strong to Melody and Inceptor, who tried not to let it catch their scent. Yaana looked the other way in anticipation, knowing that they only had a certain amount of time before something happened to her son. ____________________________________________ There are butts to be kicked for this injustice, but save that for later! Time is of the essence! It has been revealed that Kaito was placed intentionally in the woods and now it appears that he is with some dangerous creatures (Probably eevees)! Back trek into the deeper part of the forest?

Scowling with his eyes, Joey wanted nothing more than to jump out and beat every one of those scheming little toe rags with his own two fists. He almost did until he heard the stifled sniffles from behind him and realised Yaana had tagged along. "DAMMIT...! I almost let my hotheaded self got the better of me... I would've well and truly buggered it all up... Right. Compose yerself..." He turned to face Yaana and noticed she had already fled as any mother would to ensure the safety of their son. Realising this was no time to dawdle, Joey cut the small talk and legged it after her with some stealthy grace about him. Noticing she was heading deeper into the forest, Joey pressed himself on gruellingly to catch up.
The biker eventually did and slowed down to a quick strolling pace beside her. "Seems like mother's intuition is as right as ever. Dem goons were up to something unpleasant." He looked at her and nodded reassuringly. "I got some muscle behind us and we know what they've done. I'm sure we can save him in time. C'mon!" As they both pressed on through the thickets of trees, leaves and foliage, they went ever deeper into the sprawling forests of Azalea. "Bleurgh, I think I got a cobweb in my mouth." He was carrying on with his sprint but hastily removed what had fallen in his mouth.
Eventually the two of them came to a halt. It seemed just bellow the bank of the hill was a small clearing in the forest. Joey tuned to Yaana and slowly nodded his head. "I bet you anything we're closer than ever now. We went through all that undisturbed patch of trees and this place seems a little beaten. Want me to go down and investigate further?" He poked his eyes as best as he could through the mass of leaves and also pricked his ears out in case he could hear any cries from the child or the beings "guarding" Kaito.

Yaana nodded at Joey’s words, tears still evident in her eyes. Inceptor slid down first, followed after by Melody. A Vaporeon turned at the sound of sliding stones, and growled menacingly. Inceptor barked sharply, and A Leafeon turned next, to which Melody imitated the bark. Behind the two eeveelutions was a child, who looked no more than six years of age. He held his arm, which had probably been bloodied up from being thrown around. The Vaporeon who had first turned on their arrival had a bandana on that read ‘Persky’. The pink creature also didn’t look to happy to see Joey. The Leafeon stood in front of Kaito, as if daring Joey to try and take the boy away. Persky waved her tail daringly knocking Melody and Inceptor over. It was trying to get Joey to fight, it seemed, and this was its way of doing so. Leafeon made positive that the mother couldn’t reach her son by wrapping its tan body around him, its tail coming around to block the boy from getting up. ________________________________________________ Joey's Search has led him to Kaito, but now Persky (Level 20), is challenging Joey to a battle to make sure he dosen't take Kaito away!

As the two obstacles came into view, Joey felt a mix of excitement and wariness inside of him. He was never one to turn down a battle which might net him a thrill or two but with the kid's life at stake he couldn't afford to get too sloppy with things as this was a fully evolved form from the Eevee family. "So, you're a Vaporeon huh? Ain't just any kind of Vaporeon. You're a sparkly shiny pink one... Hm." His eyes looked over it and no matter which way he sliced it, this was a lot different from the Vaporeons he had heard about on TV or from word of mouth. "Vaporeon's constitute a lot of water, don't they? If that's the case I got a real treat in store for ya." His hand jolted to one of the first Pokeballs on his holster and whisked forward the Pokeball to send out his battler in the duel.
With the sparkle of light gradually dying down, the socket like horns of the Pokemon came into view first and with the array of light now gone, it was clear Joey had sent out his Elekid. "Hey Elekid, I know you like a good scrap. Think you can go toe to toe with this Vaporeon and maybe shock some sense into it?" Elekid raised its bulky little fists and narrowed its eyes, small sparks of electricity flying back and forth between the horns on his head. "That's what I like to hear!" Joey had rescued this Elekid along with his Koffing from an abusive trainer in Cherrygrove. The man may have made their lives living hell but every time Joey used them it made him happy to see they weren't living in the shadow of the horrible man any more.
As Joey looked to the Vaporeon, he couldn't help but pay attention to the Leafeon hiding in the background, holding onto the kid. "That thing is gonna get a good slap 'round the chops if he even tries steppin' in..." Realising he had to keep the kid's nerves steady, he yelled out with some words of encouragement. "HEY KID! No worries, i'm hear to save you with your ma. I'll be givin' that group of Eevee lovers a good hidin' once we've rescued you. Just hold in there." By then, Elekid had pretty much surmised the situation and was raring to go. "Okay! Let's let fry it some with Shock Wave!" Elekid let out a buzz of a growl and then began charging itself for the attack. Turning to Yaana, Joey winked and grinned with a thumbs up. "Don't worry, I got this! Least your son ain't on the menu no more."

Persky glared at the Elekid before her, snorting in discontent. An Electric type, was it? Well, that didn’t threaten her as much as this man seemed to think it did. The graceful pink creature glided nimbly forwards, standing to face the younger looking Pokémon. Her tail lashed in anticipation as she awaited Joey to call his move. Glancing back at the child that was in the Leafeon’s hold, Persky couldn’t help but feel bad for him. Suddenly the rush of Elekid’s Shockwave entered her body, and the Vaporeon pulled her finned ears down, not quite squealing but giving a soft call of her name. When the full amount of electricity had passed through her body, Persky shook her head and turned back to Leafeon. “Vaporeon Vapor, Vapoor…” Tess, make sure the boy doesn’t get away. She commanded her counterpart, who gave a nod. “Leafeon Leafy, eon.” I’m not stupid Persky, I know. The other female replied, increasing her tail’s grip on Kaito and making Yaana flinch. Kaito stared right at his mother, then at Joey, but didn’t dare move or say anything. Persky waved her tail again and opened her mouth like she was expecting a yawn. But instead a growing ball of some sort of energy was forming, and finally when the black sphere was at full size, Persky jumped back and gave a flip, her tail whacking the ball and sending it slamming into Elekid. Yaana finally voiced her concerns to Joey from behind him. “I’m worried that that Leafeon might hurt him before this battle is over…” she whispered, looking over at the creature who had captured her son. _______________________________________________________ VS.Gang's Persky |Level 20| Health: 62%(55/88HP)Status: Stupid electric rats..; Normal Attack: A successful Shadow Ball. Once again as per usual, Joey's hot head had landed him in a spot of bother. He looked anxiously at Elekid as the poor little bugger took the Shadow Ball dead on and seemed to have an adverse effect on the little fellow. Gritting his teeth, he was met with an impasse. " Argh... This is a tricky situation..." He looked down to Elekid who looked up to him. His face was beaten from the might of Shadow Ball but there was a menacing glare in its eyes. It was the look of absolute determination. " Elekid, i'm not sure I can risk it bud...!" Elekid coursed a jolt of electricity from its horns and seemed to disagree. The way it seemed to be communicating to Joey so adamantly led him to believe that the best strategy was to leave the Electric type in. " G'dammit, I know this is going to come back and bite me on the arse... Elekid! Don't hold back! Shock Wave Vaporeon into the next century if you have to! Overload it!" The way Joey spoke was passionate but there was an evident string of doubt in his voice. Looking at the diminutive electric type, all he could do was hope for the best. Yaana's concerns soon bought him out of the thick of the battle, however. " Grrr... I know. If it comes to it, I will have to send out another of my Pokemon to try and keep it from doing anything. I'm sure someone like Vlad won't show no mercy on that oversized salad." Joey looked to the kid and felt sympathetic as the tail seemed to be wrapped around him so tightly. " You can do it kid! Just keep at it just a liiiiitttle bit longer." He knew things may take a bit longer than he was making out but he wasn't going to depress the kid with the grimness of the situation. Positive thinking was key at this moment in time. And he needed a LOT of it. OOC: Just making sure as my damage calculator isn't loading Vaporeon for some reason but I do have Eviolite attached if that changes anything. If it doesn't that's one poooowerful Vaporeon. Kat's Edit: You were right Joey, sorry, I tend to sometimes overlook items because either I just need to see the level or I'm tired and my brain isn't working, but i'll be more mindful of those items. The damage has been fixed as I redid the damage with the Eviolite attached~

It wasn’t long before the battle got underway again, and Elekid once again released a wave of voltage that coursed heavily through the Eeveelution’s body. Persky gasped as the pain finally subsided and she could once again breathe. She gave a low snort and wondered why this guy was here saving the boy rather than her master Conner. They had had that plan, anyway. She instead turned and dug into the ground, scrabbling until she kicked sand right into Elekid’s face. Elekid covered his eyes, now finding it much harder to see than it was prior. Tess watched as Persky finished, turning back around and giving a wave of her tail, like dismissing Joey. She had a strong spirit, despite how evident it was that she was going to lose. Yaana watched as Tess still kept her grip tight around the woman’s son, and the boy hadn’t dared to move the entire time. She had a feeling that these two weren’t going to hand over Kaito so easily. ______________________________________________________ VS.Gang's Persky |Level 20| Health: 25%(22/88HP)Status: Dirt between my claws D:;Normal.; Normal Attack:A successful Sand attack. Narrowing his eyes at the crafty Vaporeon, the Pokemon's resilience in the face of defeat was something Joey had not been anticipating. "I gotta admit. I had chalked these Eevee gangbangers to be a bunch of cowardly schmucks but it seems they know how to train a Pokemon well enough." He flicked his eyes and smirked. "Unless of course they stole it without doin' any of the training." Seeing Elekid struggling with the sand in his eyes, Joey spoke out to his Pokemon and reassured him. "Don't worry matey, you may not be able to see just as well but let's not forget Shock Wave is unavoidable." Grinning intensely, Joey shrugged nonchalantly to the Vaporeon. "Nice try but no dice."
Knowing that this was their chance to steal victory from their grasp, Joey hurriedly commanded the next move. He was becoming increasingly worried about Kaito who seemed to be turning blue from the ever tightening grip of that malicious Leafeon. "Elekid! We can't hang about! Charge up another round of electricity and let loose the voltage on Vaporeon with Shock Wave!" Elekid buzzed in acknowledgement and despite having its eyes blinded with sand, the Pokemon went ahead with the attack, letting the power of electricity to aim out and hunt down its foe. Turning to Yaana, Joey nodded in an attempt to comfort her. "It's okay, we'll get Kaito back and he'll be just fine." Turning back to the battle, he awaited to see what would unfold.

Persky braced herself as the last volt of electricity racked her body like a bad earthquake. She was heavily injured by the time it was over, and tried to stand only to fall over moments later. The Vaporeon now lay on the ground, panting. Tess gave a growl and stood up, unwrapping her tail from the boy’s form. She stepped in front of Persky, ready to fight. Meanwhile, Kaito tried to run to Yaana, but Tess shot out some razor sharp leaves, blocking his path. Suddenly, a flash of needles came fly from the bushes, sticking themselves into Tess’s fur. The Leafeon cried out in pain as a Nidoran came bolting out of the bushes. The young male Pokemon continued to shoot the small needles from the horn on its head. Tess growled and followed Persky as the Water type got up and ran away. “Mom!” Kaito called, running over to Yaana and hugging her around her legs. Yaana gladly picked the little boy up and held him tightly. “Kaito! I’m so glad your safe!” Yaana turned to Joey with a grateful glance. “Thank you so much Joey, for saving Kaito. I don’t know what would have happened if you weren’t there. Kaito, say thank you to Joey.” Kaito turned to look at Joey, his eyes wide. “Thank you Mr. Joey!” The Nidoran however, snorted, trying to grab their attention. It seemed to be motioning in the direction that Tess and Persky had gone, trying to get Joey to follow it. ________________________________________________________ Victory~! "What in the hell?" The sudden ambush by a rogue Nidoran♂ completely took the thief by surprise. As the Gatling gun like flurry of needles were fired at the remaining Eevee gang Pokemon. The way they were fired in and the pain the Leafeon felt made Joey instantly aware of what type of damage it was aligned to. "That's gotta be Poison..." He moved his head around and saw the source of the assault. He was half expecting a creature boasting possession of a machine gun from just how many needles were fired but it was instead a Nidoran♂. The purple colouring of its hide was enough of a give away to show what its gender was. Back when he was a kid, Joey had remembered coming across the female of the species. "Well it's not blue so it ain't the female."
The continuous barrage of needles was enough to drive off the two Eevee gang Pokemon and Joey looked over to the happy reunion between mother and son. He smiled at how delighted they were to see one another. "Hahaha, a job done. You ain't too hurt are ya kid?" He had a quick glance over him from afar but for the most part he seemed healthy enough. The tight bind of the leaves the Leafeon had conjured would slowly wear off. "Now, let me ask you this. How much would it have cost ya if you paid off them goons?" Tilting his bandanna with his hand slightly, Joey nodded to Yaana. "You'll be okay looking after him for now right? I ain't going to stop until I finish off them bunch of..." He paused in his speech and realised the Nidoran♂ was prancing up and down as if to steal Joey's attention.
"Whuzzat? Seems like you're pretty antic to go chasin' after 'em..." He pondered for a mere couple of seconds before coming to his decision. "Alright, you're on. I can't let them run off without seeing to them they've fully head a good clobbering and there's still the issue of those Eevee gangbangers about. I'm sure if I don't give 'em a good slap on the wrist they'll get up to s'more hijnks." Looking to Elekid, Joey grinned cheerfully and gave him a victorious gesture with his hand. "Alright buddy! You sure showed them, eh? C'mon, we gotta dash." Elekid buzzed in compliance and with that, the Nidoran♂ sped off, leaving Joey and his Pokemon to trail in its wake. "I wonder what's got this Nidoran so pissed. He looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp!"

As Nidoran led Joey through the area, Yaana watched them go, deciding to bring Kaito back home now. Nidoran kept up an even pace on his short legs, finally stopping when they came close to the shack that Joey had seen earlier. Outside this time, was Tasha, the Flareon that seemed to belong to Conner, and the Typhlosion that seemed to be asleep. Nidoran made a shrill little noise that failed to wake the sleeping beast but alerted Tasha. She stood and made her way into the bushes, stopping when she came to Joey and the Nidoran. She had seen Tess and Persky run inside earlier, and she guessed this was what was after them. Though, instead of attacking the bunch of them,s he sat on her haunches and raised one orange paw, licking it and quickly swiping it over one of her ears. She stared up at Joey with sapphire eyes for the longest time before finally turning her attention away from him, and onto the Nidoran. “Flareon Flare, Flareon.” Oh, it’s you Turncoat. The Nidoran snorted, looking away from Tasha for a moment and staring into the thick of the bushes. “Nido, Nido Nido Nidoran!” Don’t call me Turncoat. The graceful fire type snorted a laugh and moved her giant fluffy tail to her side. “Flareon Flare Flareon.” Well, you turned on Conner didn’t you? That’s why your wild now. Nidoran rolled its crimson eyes at the Flareon, who snorted softly again. “Nido Nido Nido…” Yeah well…He looked up at Joey, then back at Tasha, seeming to be looking for something to respond with. “Ran Ran, Nido Nido Ran.” Well, I did what your fluffy ass didn’t. he retorted. Rolling her eyes, Tasha flicked her tail to and fro gently, showing Joey she wasn’t trying to threaten him. “Flareon Flareon.” I’m working on it. Tasha didn’t even like Conner, so she had never understood why she stayed, maybe out of fear of his Typhlosion, but Nidoran had left nearly a year before, and had been wild ever since. Now Tasha wanted to escape as well, but it had only been a dream up until this point. “Flareon Flareon…” This man… she crooned, venturing closer to Joey and brushing around his legs like a cat. “Flareon..” He has business with Conner? “Nido.” I think. Tasha motioned for them to follow her and ran to the back, Nidoran on her tail. She left the bushes and sniffed at a rather large vent before kicking the fragile metal in with her hind legs. “Flareon.” There’s your way in. She cooed calmly to Joey. She had no intention of tricking him, and even ventured into the vent before them, and could hear the chatter of the gang from the inside. __________________________________________________________ Tasha, seemingly the leader of the Eeveelutions in the Eevee gang, has given Joey the option to sneak around the Typhlosion out front and confront the gang directly. Do so or ask her to Fight Typhlosion (Level 32) with you? Uncharted territory and the enemies Pokemon leading you is quite the gamble, but Joey may have to trust her.(The gang is probably not as bad as Typhlosion)

After the group made their way through the forest, they were soon met with a familiar, albeit closer, sight. Joey became tense as he saw the hut and remembered it exactly from when he had tailed the gang members. Being so close to their base of operations was reckless, even for him. "Say Elekid... Be on guard, 'kay?" Elekid nodded without a sound and clenched its tiny little fists. Moving over closer, Joey nearly gasped out when the wild Nidoran♂ went so boldly up to the Flareon. Being part of the Eevee family, Joey was sure it was in cahoots with the trouble making gang. "Argh, is that thing out of its mind?! Wait... Hold up a second." He paused and watched as the two Pokemon conversed with one another animatedly.
Scratching his head, Joey was slow to cotton onto the fact these Pokemon were actually friends. As well as the fact the Flareon may not have been as dastardly as Joey had first surmised. Thinking things over to himself, Joey murmured under his breath. "That's true. Maybe this Flareon isn't fond of its trainer. Although there is a bond between all Pokemon and their trainer there is usually an exception to this rule. And judging from this Eevee group, I wouldn't dismiss this Flareon's had enough..." He looked to the Flareon and raised an eyebrow. The way it approached Joey wasn't the least bit threatening.
The brush against his legs disarmed him slightly and he grinned warmly at her but Elekid was quick to step in. It may have just been jealousy but the electric Pokemon was a bit wary of this Pokemon. "It's okay, Elekid. I get the feeling the Flareon's fed up with things." He looked down and smiled but in his head he was judging the possibility this was a trap. "Sometimes things seem too good to be true. This is feelin' like one of them but... I've been in situations like this before where it was a trap and used it to my advantage. Argh. Stone me." He was ripped back to reality from his thoughts at the sound of the metal vent going. As the Flareon entered, he sighed and nodded. "Sneak attack always works, right, time to start crawlin' in..."
He moved forward but stopped in his tracks. The last time he approached the cabin he stopped for a number of reasons. One of which was due to the fact a massive Typhlosion was standing guard at the entrance. Gulping, the thief peered his head around the corner of the building and was shocked to see it still sitting there, albeit lost in slumber. "Oh bollocks, this isn't good." He peered back at the vent and began sneaking forward stealthily. If he awoke that, things wouldn't end very nicely. Everything was going okay, Elekid had moved in front and was about entering the vent himself when a determined rattle worried Joey.
The shake was coming from one of the Pokeballs on his belt holster. A member of his team was trying to break itself free from its home. Joey gasped in horror as the Pokeball opened up and as the light settled, revealed his trouble making Scraggy, Hoodlum. "Hood, SHHHHHH!!!!!" Joey gestured for the Pokemon to hush but it was too late. The ghetto speaking lizard spoke its mind. "Yo, holla, holla, son! Waddup J-Dawg? What's the dealy, yo?!" It stood there unknowing of the fact a ferocious Typhlosion was mere feet away from it. "Shuddup and get back in the ball!" Bickered Joey in a hushed manner but it was no use. The way everyone was acting led Hoodlum to believe they were planning some illegal activity or another.
"Awwwwww yeeeeah boi, I see how it is. You ballers are plottin something ill! No worries man, I got'cha back up. Unngh, unng, son! Just lemme at dese cracka ass foo's." Eventually looking around and realising where it was the slow witted Pokemon was beginning to piece two and two together. "Huuuuh. So you iz breakin' into sum wack ass cabin lodge. Chillax dat S#@$ yoooo! I'll superman mah way in, y'dig?" Joey shook his head and responded with a growl almost. "Hoodlum, stop thinkin' you'll be getting street cred or whatever it is you're after. Just come this way and...HOOD!" Turning around on the spot, the Scraggy was looking for the front door but instead came face to face with Typhlosion.
Hoodlum frowned and shook his head at the large beast. "Daaaaaayum son, you didn't be tellin' me dey bought out da heavy guns. Yo, J-dawg, you facin' some big shots? What's the four one one, son?!" Realising the Typhlosion was in its way of the door, the courageous (Or perhaps stupid) Scraggy began nudging it. "WORD UP! I AM UP IN YO' GRILL, SON! MOVE YO' CRACKA ASS BEFORE I WHUP YO' ASS, BOOYA, NA MEAN?!" Despite the gangsta's threats, the Typhlosion was still in a deep sleep. At this point Joey was cringing at what this would mean and despite several attempts at trying to recall Hoodlum back into his ball, nothing was happening. "We are so buggered right now."
Getting fed up with no response, Hoodlum saw a small rock on the floor and picked it up. Throwing it into the air a few times and catching it with every drop, he shook his head at the lazy Fire type. "I warned yo' cracka bitch ass to move! EAT ROCK YOU FLAMING PIECE OF S#@&, AHAHAHAHAHAHA, FASHO!" With a lob of the rock, it landed right on the Typhlosion's head. Hoodlum immediately charged forward and as it raised both its hands in the air, yelled some more. "What'chu gonna do, BIOTCH?! HUH? HUUUUH?! You ain't all that!" Its trousers fell right down to its ankles but it didn't seem to care. "This is NOT good." Joey ran from his spot and stood behind Hoodlum. "Cheers for this. The last thing I wanted was this savage thing breathing fire on us all." He lamented at the Scraggy's over enthusiasm.

“Ty….TYPHLAAA!” The creature that had been awoken by Hoodlum wasn’t exactly a pleasant one, and Tasha watched as Joey went to stand by his Pokemon. The Nidoran followed after, enthralled by the boy’s bravery. The giant creature in front of them was growling loudly now, and the door to the shack opened, revealing the seven gang members from before. Conner stood among them, in the center, and smirked at Joey. “Ya just couldn’t stay away from us could ya? Well, now look what you’ve got. My Typloshion is nothing to laugh at, because he’s even stronger then Tasha.” Tasha growled to herself. This is why she was working so hard to get away. She wanted nothing to do with this Imbecile any longer. Though, she stayed hidden, and Nidoran had run into the bushes to hide when the door had first opened. “So, now I guess we’ll just have to teach you and that stupid lookin’ Pokemon in front of you a lesson. Typloshion, use Flame Wheel!” Typloshion cried out and curled into a ball, the fire on its neck and rear area igniting its entire body. Damn useful that thing is. Unlike Tasha.” Conner muttered. Tasha had it now. She crooned her name before barreling from her spot to stand in front of Joey and Hoodlum. She stood there, taking in the attack as Typloshion tried to roll past her, her Flash Fire preventing any and all damage the fire attack could have done to her. “Flare!” Simpleton! The Flareon had its hackles raised as the shocked expression on Conner’s face faded. “Tasha, baby, ya aren’t really goin’ to fight with this guy after all our trainin’ are ya?” When he got a snarl in response, he frowned. “Fine then. You’ll go down with them. Get ready Typloshion!” _____________________________________________________________ Conner and his Typloshion (Level 32) wish to fight!

Knowing he couldn't just abandon his Pokemon to a savage beast such as Typhlosion, Joey had little other choice but to stand tall and brave whatever the volcanic looking creature would throw at them. "I really do owe you for all the times you've dropped me in it, Hood. An' I only got you last week!!" True enough, it had been one sticky situation after the other but despite Joey's supposed chagrin, he didn't want to let on the fact he was secretly enjoying all the trouble they were getting into. It harked back to his younger years when he'd just cause trouble no matter what they had done.
Although he had matured it was just as well these unsavoury group of trainers were doing less than legal activities. It just gave him all the more a reason to curb stomp them. Now the fiery monster was towering over them, Joey flinched an eyelid slightly as the entire group of trainers came bustling out. "Oh great, you goons are here too." Things had really blundered for the group. To think they could've taken most of them out with a surprise expulsion of Smokescreen through the vents but were now dealing with everything head on. Nevertheless, Joey had his hands close to the Pokeballs on his holster. At this rate, he'd need every ounce of strength from the members of his team.
"Highly trained or not, your Typhlosion isn't in for an easy victory. If you punks had grown up in Kanto you'd know my name. You'd be under my wheels." Narrowing his eyes as if to judge Conner's ability, Joey was feeling completely uneasy about this. He had faced many an opponent but not one so highly levelled. This wasn't going to be easy despite the thief's bluff of confidence. After Conner finished his last words and Hoodlum tried interjecting in: "WHO YOU CALLIN' STUPID LOOKIN', STUPID CRACKA?! I WILL BOMB YO ASS!" the sudden order to attack totally took Joey by surprise.
"Shit! These guys don't fight fairly." Moving back a bit himself, he turned to look at Hoodlum who had dug himself in his position in order to brace itself for the attack. "I got dis! No biotch ass humminer is gonna dis me! DO OR DIE MUTHA F@CKAAAAAA!!!" Despite the lizard's bravery, deep down it was defecating itself. It was but a small lizard yet it was so desperate to earn some more respect, it held its ground, eyes shut tight, waiting for the end. Joey gasped out with his arms outstretched, half tempted to take the blow himself to rescue his partner but he fortunately didn't have to.
The blur of red that jumped right into the attack had Joey's spirits piqued considerably. "WHAT?! Is that the..." He looked to the blur as it stopped moving and noticed it was the Flareon. "See Elekid? I told ya she weren't gonna double cross us. Seems she was tired of this schmuck's antics." Joey shot a look to Conner and ended up smirking. "If you can't even train one Pokemon right to respect and follow you, what makes me think luggings over there ain't gonna flee half way through?" He pointed to the Typhlosion and shrugged. "You can try intimidating me all you want but I don't bend to no one! I'm as free as the wind on the open road. Answerin' to know one, I live my life as my own. Let's have at you, punk!"
Joey was now feeling a surge of adrenaline pumping through his body at this point. The Typhlosion was clearly powerful but with the added help of Tasha, this may not be as bad as first thought. "You just wait, Conner. I'll curb stomp you so hard the next lot to flee will be your cronies. C'mon! Actually. Why don't we make this fair? Got any other Pokemon you want to throw in so i'll stomp all over them too?! I ain't like you losers. I have morals. Two on two, let's make this fair!" Looking to Hoodlum, he gave an order. "Don't let up, seeing as he didn't for us. Crush 'em under a Rock Slide!" Hoodlum shadow boxed in the air with its fists before searching around for rocks and piling them up in its baggy trousers. "I am gonna bum rush all yo wack wangsta ass crackas! HOLLA SON!" Turning to Tasha, Joey was genuinely grateful for its assistance. "I owe ya one, thank you so much." The fact the Pokemon showed such compassionate bravery had earned Joey's respect for the Flareon.

Conner unfortunately would manage the first hit because of Typloshion’s speed, and he knew this full well, because he raised one arm and called out. “Typhloshion, Flame Wheel on that weird thing of the punk’s!”Typloshion obliged whole-heartedly, sprinting forwards and exploding into a giant ball of flames once again, which this time barreled into Hoodlum at full force, sending the Scraggy flying backwards. However, Hoodlum’s Eviolite had saved him from a ton of damage. Tasha turned back, glancing at Joey warmly. If it wasn’t for him showing up with the little Turncoat, she might have not have had the courage to stand up against the Eevee gang. Scornful sound erupted from the other Pokémon of the Eevee gang. Tasha stood by and listened to their chants, which basically told her that she was now officially disowned. She let her head shoot up and let out a scornful hiss, not really caring what they thought at this point. They were idiots anyway. She took a step back before sprinting towards Typloshion. Though before she got to attack, Persky shot out a jet of water at her, knocking her over and soaking her fur. Tasha panted, getting up and falling back over once. She got up again, her beautiful coat dirtied by mud and other debris. Something told her Persky wasn’t going to let her touch Typloshion. Though Tasha held her head up proudly, trotting back over to Joey’s side of the field. “Kid, I don’t need two Pokemon to beat ya.” Conner assured Joey. Tasha sat down and snorted, trying to clean her coat of the mud that was beginning to cake. “Flareon Flare…” Rather you only have one Pokemon… Hoodlum preformed his move next, bringing a bunch of stones from a nearby rock face tumbling down on Typloshion. ________________________________________________________ VS.Conner's Typloshion |Level 32| Health: 74%(75/101HP)Status: Normal Attack: A successful Flame Wheel.
